Alright, let's preface this tier list quickly, let's preface this tier list before anyone
goes crazy in the comments being like, this guy's opinion is this, this guy's opinion
is this.
Listen, I'll tell you everything I've watched.
I watched all of LEC and LCK, I watched a little bit of the LPL playoffs and I rewatched
final. And I watched C9 play against someone. I think it wasn't TL though, but I have watched
Lion play. I can play that for a fact. I haven't watched TL play. I haven't watched Furia. I
haven't watched LCP. So Team Secret Wales and Result and then Deep Cross Gaming rather.
So these three I definitely don't know anything about really. The only thing I know about Furia
is the America's Cup where they went 8-0 versus NA, which was quite cool. Let me get rid of the 0-100.
So let's preface this quickly. So I know people have their opinions and people have their comments
and people say, why do you rate this team lower? Why do you rate this team higher? Obviously, if you
watch other leagues more than other leagues, your opinion will be skewed a little bit based on what
you've seen because you've probably seen more of it. So let's start off with the
tournament favorites to the surprise of absolutely nobody. I would say these three
are S tier to me. T1 is lacking a little bit behind Hummelife. Two of the biggest
strengths I attribute to HLi and BLG are solo lanes. Every time I watch BLG, I'm
sure you can ask any LPL analyst, I'm sure they see it too. Solo lanes are
giga-gapping. They really are. And I personally would put HLE over BLG, because I think,
if it's my opinion, I think Viper is still finding his footing in BLG. I feel like he's
been a bit of a passenger this year, so far, in my opinion. Okay, I'm not saying he's bad,
I just feel like, Gumo Yushi started off the year in HLE trying to find his footing, and in spring,
he found it. He can fill the role that the team needs really well. And I think both these teams
are heavily, heavily skewed by Solins. Like Zeus and Zeca are in some crazy form right now.
Bin and Knight are in some crazy form right now. I want to give a shout out to On. I think On has
been incredible as well. I know Viper's been having like a bit of a quiet split, IMO. He does his job
when he needs to, but I've been a big fan of On in what I've seen. A lot of the things that I've
seen from On have been fantastic. He's a really good playmaker for the team. Kanavi's been also
So, Kenavi, I don't know if you're an LPL fan, maybe I'm much else okay, Kenavi is a demon, he is the absolute epitome of Lila, he is still doing his thing, he's still clicking forwards, he's still going crazy.
T1 I think is still S tier for me, even though they lost to HLE, you can see T1 is a team that like, they fixed their problems on a quick turnaround, and I think play-ins will help them a lot for that, especially on the new patch.
I think the new patch is pretty good for BLG to be honest, so I think that they will definitely contend HLE even though I think HLE has
like stronger pieces at the moment like the light's been amazing
Gumiuchi's been amazing. I mean everyone at HLE has been fucking amazing. They're basically
Pretty flawless this bit I would say. I think T1's drafting leaves a little bit to be desired
I think they kind of figured it out against GenG and they found their style pretty well
But I think HLE is just the most well-rounded team. BLGI would put right behind them and then T1
one output in third for like tournament favorites, I would put them in third. I think the good
thing about T1's position is if they can get through play-ins, which they should, that'll
help them a lot. They're going to play, how many is it? Three best of fives if they don't
drop one. Four if they drop one best of fives, I think. They're going to play three best of
fives, which is like obviously some people would be like, but it's bad because then they
can see what they're doing. Yeah, but I think T1 as a team is good when they get more time
on a patch and they ramp up. And I think if they just went straight into the main stage,
they would be weaker than if they saw them in play-ins, even if they're sharing information.
The biggest strength of T1 by far is actually just their bot lane. Like, it's funny to
me because HLE and BLG, super solo lane heavy, and I think support and jungle are also fantastic.
ADs kind of fill roles that are necessary for the teams. T1's kind of different. They're
just bot lane. They're just so heavy towards bot lane. They had this problem where owner
was playing a lot top side in the first like 5-6 weeks of the split. You'll notice I have
more caveats for LCK and LEC teams because I watched them more and towards
the later side of the split I think they started really finding their footing
through bots and yeah I think to me I personally think Karya is probably first
or second best player in the world right now I would pretty confidently say that
I wouldn't say first because I know a lot of people have been saying that night
has been unreal and I agree the games that I've seen from night have been
great, but I would put Keria a minimum top two player in the world. And that's like one
of the big difference makers that won T1 games. T1 went into late games and Keria was a massive
deciding factor in the clutch. And I think you don't see that a lot from supports in
the clutch. I think Keria definitely carries that mental. So for me those are the top three.
I would put, I've only seen a couple series from Top E sports, but I'm really a big advocate
for G2. You can say it's my EU bias, but I would say G2 is the fourth strongest team coming into this tournament.
I really think that, I think a big attribute to G2 is they might come into this tournament still underrated.
Even though they went 6-0 at the first end, I think a lot of people in the community miscences might underrate them still.
Skuemon still been getting better. Labrov has still been getting better. Caps is really good form. Hansama is in really good form.
Broken Blade is filling the role necessary for the team super well. I think the patch is going to be good for them
I think G2 is going to be a pretty scary team to play against these tournaments
They always prepare funny things for MSI and G2 is always the team where preparation for me
Decides their fate in the international and if their preparation is good
This team can really upset and really really skyrocket if their preparation is bad. They can bomb really hard
So I would put I'll put G2 there and Top E sports here
My opinion of Top Esports is kind of strange because a lot of the names on Top Esports, I personally doubt them in internationals
I've been really impressed by Julian the games. I've seen from him
The fact that he's coming in replacing 369 and Top Esports is still up there
I think his games have been getting better and better the long reason playing they kind of got through playoffs
They they made it to to to MSI by beating WE who I mean they were pretty competitive against BLG even in the second round
But if you want my honest opinion instead of just instead of going around in circles
I've watched a few of their games, but I just I just I just doubt top e-sports and internationals and until that changes
I'm here for it. I know that's also a fan sentiment kind of thing

So I spoke to molecule a little bit about the LCP teams molecule gave me a couple paragraphs on both teams
He basically said and I trust molecule rewelks. I worked in he said DCG is a team. That's basically MLXG
exemplified onto five people. No matter the game state they will think it's a
fight that they can win and force hard. They're extremely good on comps and a lot
of engaged tools and dive but they're a very one-dimensional comp. Any range
bot lane matchup in the game is completely FF for them. So it sounds like
any range bot matchup is gonna kind of suck. My favorite line from him was
they're basically 2018 IG but they have half the scale and half the source. They
have pretty good solo laners who are rookies but their jungle supports quite
suicidal and their AD carry loves to int. So basically what I'm getting from that
is this team will full send it into someone's face, the only way they can play the game
is engaging. And I think that's kind of exciting, so I'm kind of hyped to watch them play.
For Team Secret Wales, he says they are completely, they completed a perfect underfeated LCP split
and the teams led by Histo. They have really good early games and they snowball into wins,
but he thinks some of their laners might be a little bit weaker than the top teams for
Vestivives. But he sees a world where they can beat LCS 1 or Furia. Other than that,
it will probably be an upset from that point onwards.
So obviously, remember CFO wasn't saying,
if you remember MSI last year,
CFO took T1 to five games in the opening
and it was fucking crazy and Dogo was going mental
and it was pretty hype, LCP does produce some teams
but obviously CFO is kind of disbanded.
By the sounds of it, Team Sugar Wales,
so the best thing I can do is kind of give you analysis
based on the opinions of analysts from the LCP.

Yehu has been getting better but he's still in my position of doubt but Kana for me has been
the big standout. But yeah they almost beat G2 twice in two series. The first one was

he turned it around quick. He woke up very fast, but yeah, T1 needs to be really careful the way
they draft. But all in all, I'm excited for BLG. I think that my expectation is HLE or BLG win
the tournament. I would say one of these two. I would probably say HLE wins the tournament.
I think T1, right now, if you put them against those two teams, I think those teams would win.
But I think over the course of three weeks, there's a chance that they bounce back in the best of fives.
I mean, they made MSI finals last year, when T1 and Gen.G were going to Monic.
And I think that's the thing sometimes with regions, it's like, BLG for me were kind of murdering the LPL.
They were just kind of murdering every team they played against other than the hiccups with WE.
Whereas T1, HLE and Gen.G are kind of like the Egyptian Godcars just like practicing against each other, all fucking split.
G2 for me is like a miniature dark horse I would say because as much as I could say oh
they went 6-0 versus TLCK they're gonna be fucking ass I don't want to go that crazy
