know Him more. This says, but when I'm afraid I'll put my trust in you. Fear is something that does
not come from the Lord, but it is something that we experience every day. So like fear,
it's there. It's something that lives in this world, in this broken world, and it's something
that our flesh experiences. So it's not like the closer you are to God, the holier you are,
the less fear you experience necessarily. Not like you don't love God if you experience fear,
it's a part of being human. But what's important is when you do experience that fear, when you are
afraid, where are you putting your trust? Are you putting it in yourself? I'm afraid right now,
what do I do? How do I get out of this? How do I fix it? Do I need to go like fight this
person, do I need to go put my money here? Do I need to go do this, do that, do the other?
Or do you put your trust in the Lord? Do you put your trust in man, into another person? It's
important to trust your spouse, but don't trust them over Christ. Trust them and trust them
like that you both as a unit will trust in the Lord. Don't trust in a celebrity or don't
trust in your teacher. And let me rephrase that again. It's okay to trust people,
But not so much so that you're forgetting to put your trust in Christ and by doing that. What does it mean to trust the Lord?
You have faith
You have faith and hope in him knowing that he cares for you that he loves you
And he has hope for you and a future for you that he is not here to harm you
But to prosper you and you remind yourself of scripture
To know that I'm afraid right now, but I am trusting the Lord will get me through this
I'm afraid right now. I don't know what to do, but I'm gonna trust the Lord is going to help guide me through the situation
And I hope that this helps you in those moments of fear or the moments of the unknown
and the moments of your anxious thoughts
That you're not in control and that that's okay. That's actually the best thing because that means Christ is in control
