So, we are making our hoodie, this is our hoodie we got.

And I look over and I roll my curling iron over.
Not only is it on, but a lip stain has completely melted, almost completely in half on the curling

So it smells horrible in here.

I'm grateful to be able to learn more about Christ and I hope that I can leave you with
something that you can take with you every day for the future of the rest of your life
and you can continue to be motivated in this life to know you're not alone and to be encouraged
in all that you do.
So some of you may know in Philippians chapter 4, it talks about not worrying about anything.
It's like, how do we do that?
And I'm going to yelp for a minute because we have a little time, but I hope that you
understand or hear what I'm saying.
In Philippians chapter 4 verse 6 it says don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything.
Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.
But in verse 7 it says then you will experience God's peace which exceeds anything we can
understand.
His peace will guard your hearts and your minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
All of us can say at some point, we've been stressed out, we've been anxious, we've been
worried, we've been overwhelmed, overcome by emotions, by needs of the people around
us, whether it's our needs, our family's needs, our jobs needs, life gets heavy and
we worry.
It's a natural human thing and it sounds easier than what it is to say instead of worrying,
just pray about it and tell God what you need and He takes care of you and that is true.
But I listened to this guy on Tiktok that really broke it down in this way.
That where we go wrong I think and trusting God and handing him our worry and then feeling
that sense of peace knowing he's going to take care of it is our pride.
Now hear me out why.
We worry about it.
We're anxious about it.
Mainly because we want to control it.
It's out of our control and we want to try to control it and if we could control it now
we're not worried about it. But when we pray about it, we're asking God, please take this
from me, take it off my plate. I'm worrying about this thing. Can you take it from me?
And we have to ask ourselves, are we genuinely willing to let God take it and move on?
Stop thinking about it. Stop entertaining the unknown. Or are we like, God, you've got it,
And then we're kind of low-key hanging around in the shadows trying to figure out still a solution
He used the example of like
Someone in the military being on the front lines fighting in the war and his commander asked him to fall back
Not because he's asking him to give up, but hey, we've got it up here
I need you to go to the back and take care of them of some stuff and
Instead of listening he goes all right. I got you, but I'm gonna still say up here and
And now he's put himself in a vulnerable position. He's not where he was asked to be. He's not doing what he was asked to do
Because he's not fully trusting in his leader. And so we have to be that same way
Like are we fully trusting in God with this worry?
Are we willing to let go of this anxiety this worry this control and just trust God and it's hard to do
It really is but it says to tell God what you need and thank him for what he's done
So if you have a worry and an anxiety and there's a need in your life be vulnerable with him
Tell him what it is trust that he'll take care of it and then switch to gratitude
That anxiety is there give it over to him and then switch to gratitude
Thank you for this life. Thank you for the air my lungs. Thank you for recovery. Thank you for this person that I know
Thank you for their successes. They I'm so grateful to see this person be doing so good in this life Lord
