Welcome to Jinxie's last day on Earth. Sweet. No. What are the actual- Oh, now, welcome to Jinxie's last day on Earth. What are the actual odds of me dying here? So low. Okay. So low. Not zero, but so low. I'm definitely an animal lover, but I will get nervous if there's like, if they have spikes or fangs or sharp teeth or the hiss, hithers. Oh no, dude. Wait, is that like half of this place? We'll get nervous there aren't, I actually don't know if I've ever had a collaborator this nervous off the rib. Like we haven't even started, he's been standing there like this, only going like this to suck down water. Like. Was Ron, was Ron not even nervous? No. Ron wasn't nervous. No, not like this. Yeah, I'm pretty nervous. I'm not gonna lie. Um, so how many animals do you have? You said you have like 50? Something like that. Yeah, not including bugs. Including bugs. There are quite a few more. What do you mean by bugs? Like, like, like extinct? Going extinct bugs or? Uh, not necessarily. Um, we have, we have bugs here. I'll introduce you to them. Different species of bug. Do you guys have like stink bugs? We don't. Ladybugs? No. Those are the only bugs I know. OK, well, I will show you the rest of the bugs, guys. Hey, what's up? What's up? We're live. I'm Maya. Most of you probably don't know who I am. Hello, I'm a streamer, and I'm also the founder and executive director of Alvarez Sanctuary. Sweet. This is a wildlife sanctuary and conservation education center. In Austin, Texas, we rescue animals, and then I bring streamers here, and I teach them about those animals to help protect our planet. That's what we're here for today. So, Jynx is going to meet a bunch of animals today, and he's feeling really brave about it. And I'm going to teach you about them, and it's going to be a good time for all of you to learn and have fun. Yes. I'm going to have a lot of questions. I am sort of a blank canvas when it comes to this. You know what I'm saying? OK. On a scale of 1 to 10, how dumb do you think you are, 10 being like really dumb? I mean, I went to, in Florida, there's this place called Lauri Park Zoo. I would go with my mom most summers, and that was really my only interaction with animals outside of like dogs and cats. Okay, so... A monkey threw a poop at me one time, and it hit the glass right in front. I was like, 10 and up. Why? So, how does it go? What a time you're like, what? Three. Like, one being, no, two. Because of your reaction I'm gonna say two. One would be like you've never interacted with an animal. Two would be like you've interacted. I'm s- I don't know. Okay, so one- okay, so one is stupid in this scale and ten is really smart. Yes. Ten would be like you where you know about animals. One would be like someone- I'm two. Okay. This is gonna go great, Chad. We have a lot to learn today. I hope you're excited. All right. So here's how this is gonna work. We're starting in here. Someone will get you more water. There's no way there's still water in there. We're gonna get you some more water. I drink a lot of water to stay hydrated. I'm just nervous because I don't know how this is gonna go, honestly. I'm very flinchy, like, infigy. Are the animals in the room right now? I can't see. There are some in the room. There's animals in the room. Yes, um, I, I'm, we're gonna start in here. I'm gonna introduce you to some animals here on the table. We're gonna talk about them. And then after we meet them inside, then we'll go outside and I'll give you a tour of the whole sanctuary. Okay, sweet. I'm excited. Cool. If you guys want to sneak peek at what he's gonna meet today, by the way, I was just telling him about this. Alvea Sanctuary has been live 24 seven since 2022. We have cameras in all of our animals enclosures. So this is not a facility that the public can visit. But we do have live cams on all of our animals enclosures so you can watch them all day long. And watching those live cameras is a huge part of how we stay afloat here and keep doing the work that we're doing with animal rescue and conservation education. You can watch those cameras make out revenue on those cameras and that helps a ton. Sweet! Sweet. Yes. Okay. Sorry. No, it's fine. I like it. Maybe I'll take it out. It's been my new stim for the past week. Okay, so do you want to start, I mean do you want to talk about animals or you want to start right now? Well first off I have a couple of questions. So what even, like what is a sanctuary? Is it for like animals with like rough lives, trauma? Yeah, so we rescue animals from all different circumstances. We've got some permanently injured wildlife, so like they got hurt, they can't be released back into the wild. We have some confiscated illegal pets, so like someone got an animal, they can't have it, so they're confiscated, so they come here. We get some transfers from it. So animals that need a home come here. And none of them are releasable. If they were, we would release them back out into the wild. They're not. So they live here and help us teach people about them. Have you ever had somebody like pick up an animal from the sanctuary and they live with them? Like bring them in as a pet? Yes. So that's like, like with cats, a cat and dog sanctuary, yes that would happen, like they would get adopted out. But here these are wild animals. So none of them are pets. Okay, got it, none of them are pets. Why are you guys question marking? That's a really great question. And he doesn't need to make eye contact with me if he doesn't want to, it's fine. No, but the thing is the chat is like a gigantic screen and people are just typing awkward, scared, question marks. People are saying I'm an idiot already. Like, do I ask questions or not? Yes, yes, please. OK, because I'm just going to get a call to an idiot by my chat the whole time. No, you're welcome to ask questions. It's OK to be an idiot. Chat, you can also ask questions. That's not me saying you're an idiot, by the way. I don't think that about you. You guys can ask questions as well, and I will answer them for the best of my ability. That's the point of today. The point of today is to have fun and do a little education so you guys can learn about the planet. Okay, and then next question. You said you've been streaming Alvias Sanctuary 24-7 for four years, right? Yes. When did you start the idea of doing this? I found it in 2021. 2021. So the origin story is I was a zookeeper in college before I was a streamer. I was also a falconer. So you guys know when people put the glove on and they fly the bird and the bird lands on the glove? Yes. Like that thing. So I was doing that in college and I was a zookeeper. And when I started streaming, I started doing the falconry stuff and the zoo keeping stuff on stream. And then I could reach way more people, way more places without having to bring the animals anywhere. And I was like, wait, this is sick. Because my zoo keeping job, I was bringing animals to like, birthday party, you ever remember birthday party or something where they are wearing the khakis and they have the big snake. And they introduce you. So I was doing that. And then I started doing it virtually. And I was like, wait, way more people, the animals don't have to go anywhere. This feels way better. And then I found it alveas in 2021. And it's really, it's really, it's really, it's good. It's awesome. And now, and now we're here. And so we started rescuing animals and doing the education programs with them here. Okay. Yeah. And next question. Do you have any crazy zookeeper slash obvious sanctuary stories? Like an animal breaking out of a cage, running rampant. Yeah, we have not had that at alveas. My first, like as an internet zoo, I had some shit go down for sure. Really? Yeah. Like at, at, while you were zoo keeping. Yeah, like not, I don't, I can't, you know, it wasn't my facility, I was just an intern. But yeah, I had like, I got bit by beavers. I had like cougars jump on me and like wrap, wrap away. So it's kind of scary. I was charged by a couple of bears. That kind of sucked. Beavers have sharp teeth, right? They do, they're rodents. Well, and one more thing. If I'm playing like GTA or something and I accidentally run over a dog accidentally, my chat will just spam at my, like I feel like you're sort of the face of animals in streaming. That's my legacy. But obviously I don't intentionally run over dogs. I'm actually so proud of that when streamers kill a bug or see a bug on stream or kill a dog in a video game something at my at my at my yes yeah yeah that's my legacy yeah so all I I will I will get back in for the dog at some point today don't worry chat I got I got you wasn't intentional and I got the dog are we ready to rock and roll here we're ready to rock and roll do you want to go like easier to harder or do you You want to start harder, too easier. Um, define what you mean by easy. It's not a sippy cup, it's a water bottle. Like, less scary to you. I want to go less scary, and then ramp up to scary. Okay. Okay, put these gloves on, please. I'm going to introduce you to my friend. You're going to love him. Um, okay. I always hate these things. Okay, I'm going to let you take your time with that one, I'll go get the animal and I'll be back. Just take your time, it's okay. Somebody said start with a lion. There's not actually lions here, right? Everybody's really, everybody's really hush-hush about the animals here. All right. Should be all good. Okay. The first animal today, chat, is... Georgie. This is Georgie. Can I put him in line? Okay, we'll hold on a minute. I've never touched a frog. Really? Okay, this is a really big frog to be your first introduction to frogs. Is he, like, is that his species or is he just fat? This is his species. He's the second largest species of frog in the world. He's an African bull frog. From Africa? Like he came? No, he was born in California. But the species is an African bullfrog. OK. And I just grabbed, like I just sort of eased into it. Would you like to hold him? OK, put your hands over the table. Oh my god. I feel his feet. OK, then close your thumbs a little. Yeah, beautiful. Oh my god, he's a big boy. How old is he? is five years old. They can live to be 45 years old in captivity, which is pretty incredible. 45? Yeah, they live to be pretty old. You can pick your hands above the table if you'd like. Sorry. Yeah, no, it's okay. I still want to startle him. He's pretty unbothered right now actually. Good. Does that mean I'm a calming presence for him? Yeah, maybe. Yeah, you're doing really good. Georgie, what a good name. Thank you. Yeah. Do you know why we're wearing gloves? My, he's sort of, okay, sorry. He's literally not doing a single thing. Well, I felt his feet move, I think he's repositioning. Okay, you're good, you're good, you're good, you're good, you're good, you're good. My chat is just saying, Mog. Hold him up like this, and then look at his camera and smile, at this one. Oh, this one. Thank you, incredible. He is kind of handsome, look at him. He's handsome. Um, okay, so why are we wearing gloves to handle Georgie today? Jynxie, do you know what an amphibian is? Um, it is a reptile in the water, water reptile. What? Um, no, but you're, I get why you would say that. Um, a lot of times, yeah, amphibians like to stay moist, so they would be in the water. One of, this is an amphibian, this frog is an amphibian. One of the marks of an amphibian is that they have semi-permeable skin. So that means that they can soak things up through their skin. Like soaks water through a skin? They can do gas exchange for their skin. One of the reasons they have this is because in the wild, Georgie will stay buried for like 10 months out of the year, only come out in the rainy season. So he needs to do gas exchange underground. Awesome adaptation, not so good in today's day and age where there's pollutants in the water and where there's shit on Jinxie's hands. I don't know what's on his hands. No, I just watched these. So it's to protect Georgie from anything getting under his skin. You can put him on the table if you want or you can keep holding it, whatever you want. Trying to squeeze him down? Yeah. So that's one of the reasons that amphibians are at risk right now is Because they're very okay Whoa, I think I scared him Okay, he did a little like he did a little shimmy. Yeah, he's good That's one of the reasons that amphibians are at risk right now Another reason is because of because of this Do you know what this is shing see that is a pregnancy test, yes Very well done. This is a pregnancy test. How does that have to do with the frog? Right, so how does this work, mechanically? You're supposed to pee on it, and then there's like two lines or one line. Yes, well done. Yeah, so you pee on a stick, and the stick detects for HCG, which is the pregnancy hormone. But we didn't always have these, right? We didn't always have disposable pregnancy tests. How did we find out that women were pregnant before we had disposable pregnancy tests? What does it have to do with frogs? want to take a guess or do you want me to tell you? You would, back in the day, you would ask them. You get weird, you would get weird pregnancy cravings. Like my mom said when she was pregnant, she would get weird cravings. I don't see how that would correlate to a frog. I don't know. I'm really just shooting it off the hip here. No, it's fine. You would ask them. Like ask the frog. Oh yeah, you can. Okay. Okay, okay, sorry, I don't know. Okay, okay, okay, it's okay. You don't want to know. Before we had disposable pregnancy tests, one of the ways that we found out, do you want to do some deep breaths? Do some deep breaths? Okay, okay. So, before we had disposable pregnancy tests, one of the ways that we would find out if women were pregnant ship their urine into a facility and they would inject urine into the backs of African clawed frogs. For why? Why? Because if the HCG hormone was in their urine, it would trigger the frog to lay eggs. And that's how we knew if women were pregnant. Oh, right there. Yeah, so literally it would take urine and inject it into the backs of African clawed frogs. Oh, that's sharp. Right in his ass. Would they, if the frogs laid eggs, then you would know the woman was pregnant. Correct. Wow, that is really smart. What years was this, way back in the day? What, like 50s? Yeah. And so that's crazy on a lot of levels. And also, it may be one of the origins of something called chytrid fungus, which is, sorry buddy, which is a pathogen that affects amphibian species worldwide. So what happens when you move wildlife around the globe is you can spread Wow, the Z's around the globe as well. And Kittroongus is affecting amphibians everywhere. You know your stuff, Ma. Thanks, Jensie. Look at his ass. His ass? Isn't that crazy? Oh, wow, a dump truck back there. Yeah. Why? He's shaped like that. Yeah, then they came back and it's just his yat. Awesome. Do you know what he eats? OK. It's back? Yeah. I would guess he eats small fish. I would guess. He probably would. They're pretty opportunistic. He mostly eats bugs. And then occasionally, he will eat mice. Like a baby mouse? Yeah, mice. We, they're frozen and then thawed and then fed to him, not live, but yeah, he can eat mice as well. This was Georgie as a baby, behind you. Oh my god. You got him when he was a baby? Yeah, he was just a little guy. So you're like Georgie's mom? Sure. You've been with him his whole life, eh? Yeah, pretty much. He was a little cutie. Yeah, he was so cute, he's small. He still is. All right, George. You guys want to see another cool frog adaptation, actually, while he's on the table like this? Georgie's got a cool thing called a nictitating membrane on his eyelid. They're kind of like built in swim goggles. Check this out. So if he closes his eyes, see he's got like a clear eyelid. Whoa! So that way he can be underwater and keep debris out of his eyes but still kind of see what's going on. That is literally Jackal's glasses in Rainbow Six Siege. Okay, so can I be honest with you? Yeah. I like don't know what that game is. When Jackal, he's just an operator. It's like a SWAT game. But when Jackal taps his head, His eyes go blue and he looks for footsteps. That's what you just do with Georgie. But like what is the game? It's a first person shooter. You extract like hostage or plant bombs. It's like a tactical FPS. But that just reminded me of Jackal when you tapped in and then his eyes went, you. That was honestly badass. Okay. All right. Hey, whatever. Yeah, whatever works. All right. Chad, you wanna say bye to Georgie? Bye, Georgie. Everybody say bye, oh, water, did he just piss? It's not, he's expelling water, because he wants to go back. I'll put him back. Goodbye Georgie. Did he just piss? You can take your gloves off. That was pretty cute frog. So no more gloves, it's going to be a fur animal, something with fur. Alright, gloves off? Okay, yeah, you want to guess what the next animal is? Well if you said gloves off, it's going to be somebody that's furry. Oh, okay. Like a fox. Is there foxes here? There are! Oh my god. This is toast. Maya? Yes. I don't... Maya I'm scared. Really? Maya, yes, yes. I think he's like little. And look at him. He's like really cute. How is he a snake with legs? It's a lizard. Oh, it's a lizard twig. I could pick him up, then. I thought he was a snake. I thought he was a snake. Okay. This is a blue-tongued skink. Blue-tongued skink? Skink. Skink? Different. Same spelling? S-K-I-N-K. Skank is with an A. Blue tongue skink. Yes. Got it. Yes. This is toast or strudel toast for short. Would you like to hold him? Yes, I yes, okay. So do I just go one hand low one hand high under over? Yeah, Ish you ever hit like a money spread? No, oh Okay, um put your arms out Well, okay one time. You're just gonna try to support as much of his body weight as possible like go over the table Cool. And I'll just put him like this. Yep. Amazing. Beautiful. Good job, Toast. Wow. He's got little claws. He does. He's doing a little round-around. It's okay. My, what's happening? It's okay. My, he's twisting. That's okay. Okay. You can twist. Do it. Do I do this bad or good? It's been better and it's been worse, you know, here at this table. Um, so this is a, again, this is a blue tongue skink. Did you see that his tongue is blue? Yes, that is so cool. Cool. Chat, um, blue tongues, bright colors in the wild. What does that usually mean? What does that mean? Is he venomous? So, so, so bright colors in the wild, yes. It can mean poison, exactly. It can mean poison, it can mean venom. It can mean like, don't touch me, like don't mess with me. Bright colors stay away, right? Toast has a blue tongue. Toast is not venomous or poisonous. Oh, Maya, why'd you do that? Maya, Maya, you just scared him. But he wants people to believe that he is. It's called dimatic display. So it's a defense mechanism. So in the wild, if Toast got really scared, you can put him on the table if you want. Toast is strudel. Go, buddy. Great job. So he's sort of a larping poisonous. He's not actually, he's sort of a larper. Yes. So in the wild, if Toast got scared, it would look something like this. So he could stick his tongue out flat, and he could flap that tongue around like this to threaten predators and say, stay away from me. I'm super poisonous or I'm super venomous. But that's not what Toast was doing, obviously, because he super chilled out and nice. So it's sort of like a scare tactic that he uses to scare off predators. Yes. Does it work? Did it work? See, but that's the thing. I'm a human, though, would like, if I was like a, what would, what would try to eat him in the, in the wild? Bird, snakes, other lizards if he was a baby. Are birds smart enough to know that like, blue tongue equals venomous so they run away? It may be enough, yeah. Really? God, that is so interesting. I didn't know that. Yeah, they're pretty sick. What kinds of foods do you think toast would eat? I'm going to go with the same as Georgie. Probably bugs. Smart. Yeah. Yeah. So toast's favorite food is snails. Snails? Yeah. So we're going to show you a little food chain here. This is toast's favorite food over here, right? That's a snail. But gardeners don't like snails. Hello? Holy. Next slide, I think it's stuck. This has never happened before. OK. Toast favorite food is snails. Gardeners don't like snails in their garden, right? So when people don't want bugs in their garden, or agriculture producers don't want bugs, they apply pesticides, right? So say there was a pesticide in the snail. So there's one pesticide. The snail has consumed one pesticide. And then toast comes in, and toast eats two snails as a snack. How many pesticides would then be in toast, Jinxie? Three. Wow. Sweet. See, I have a little bit of a brain. Wait a second. Wait, I was wrong. OK, sorry. Here, stand over there. OK, so there's one pesticide in this snail. It's probably because the board's not working. Can we exit out of this and re-put it back and see if that fixes it? It's just because you don't have the visual. We'll go again. It's frozen. One plus two, though. So never mind. You can do it without the visual. So this is the food chain. Alright. This is a snail. The snail has consumed one pesticide. Oh no. Toast comes in and consumes two snails. So how many pesticides has Toast then consumed? Two. Yes! What's one plus one? Two. Yes. So then there are two pesticides in these lizards, all right? Okay. A snake comes in, wants to eat two lizards as a snack. There's two pesticides per lizard. So how many pesticides are now in the snake? How many did he eat? Two lizards. Four. Four. Yes. Okay. Four pesticides. It's now, it's accumulating, right? It's, right? Okay. Now there are two snakes. them has four pesticides in it. A bird comes in and eats two snakes. How many pesticides are now inside the bird? Eight. Yes! Quick math. Come on baby. Too easy. And that is called biomagnification. So one thing that people don't realize when they apply chemical pesticides is that they move up the food chain and affect wildlife that we're not targeting necessarily because those pesticides don't go away. So where you can try to use natural pesticide alternative, same thing with rat poison. So if it's same like this same chart but with a rat down there, if a rat eats rat poison then the snake eats the rat then you get a rat with a bird and that right. So right okay cool great you did really good there. Thank you I kind of forgot he was there he was just chilling. Yeah he's hanging out he's got little legs and places to be now. There he goes. I don't know why he looked like a snake with legs. That was weird. I mean Kind of is like a snake with legs blizzards are like snakes with his back print like his pattern looks very snake-ish He's got cool scales check them out Yeah, pretty yeah, that's very nice Shed he does shed like a snake does Ooh, hit them. Hold the jawline. Yeah, huh? Wow. A difference between lizards and snakes is lizards have eyelids, so he can close his eyes whereas a snake cannot. And those are his ear holes, there. Wait, snakes can't close their eyes? No, they can't. What? Yeah, and those are his nostrils. And he smells with his tongue. His tongue smells things? Yeah. How is that possible? He catches particles on his tongue and then brings them back into his mouth and it sends signals to his brain to tell him what he sniffed. That is very creative and cool. Would you like to meet another animal that smells with their tongue? Yep. Do you want to guess what it is? It's probably going to be a snake. Good guess. Snakes are really scary. I don't know. I don't know. Please don't be a snake. And the entire chat is typing, jeej. Hi, lady. It's definitely going to be a snake, dude. Oh my god. Alright. Okay. Oh god. It's the little one, Jengsty. Maya, please. I brought you the little one. Maya, I've never touched a snake in my life. Really? Yeah. This is Pachi. Pachi is a ball python. Her name is Pachi because she's only got one eye. See on this side there's no eyeball there where there should be an eyeball. On the other side she's got an eyeball. Now Maya, I noticed you said the little one, what is the big one? Is she like a velociraptor? This guy's pretty big. Not really anything like a velociraptor but the big one is about eight feet long. Pachi's much smaller. You have an eight foot snake. this property I do now our pythons the ones that Constrict you to death like earth those are the ones yes. Yes, but Is he what if he starts wrapping me Maya? What do I do? Do I just like? Release like if he starts really going for me No, so so patchy as you can see is quite small if you imagine into the largest thing that this snake could consume with a head this size right Maybe something around this scurth, right? Maybe a little bit larger, not, right? Not all that. So, Pachi is not going to constrict you, choke you out to try to eat you. Cause you're way too big for her to eat. So that's not something that's gonna happen. And that's the same with our eight foot snake. She could not consume you either. You sure? Like eight foot? Yeah, I mean, she couldn't, she could, her size, she could maybe get around your head, but she could not get around your shoulders. Oh, she would just take off my head then. No, cause they eat everything whole. Okay, my head is just like scary. Am I doing, sorry, I am not doing a very good job. You're right. Okay, this is a ball python. It is not a venomous snake. It is a constrictor, but it's not one that is going to hurt you. She has never bit anyone in her life. We've had her since she was a baby. As far as I know, she has never bit anybody. She certainly has never been a collaborator and she's never bit me. So is she one of those things where like she senses fear? Like if I'm scared, she might bite? If you're, I wouldn't say she's sensing fear. If you're like shaky and nervous, she'd probably be a little bit uncomfortable, but that's okay. Okay, I'll just. You can start, you can start by just touching her. So like, yeah. Hey, Patchy, that's my hand. Very nice. Patches or Patchy? Patchy. Patchy. Yeah, I'm good to go for it. Okay. Which angle do I just kind of? Yeah, put one hand under there, that'll be good. And like here? Yeah, there you go. Patchy, you okay? Is this good? Yeah, it's great. Very nice. Maya, I'm holding a snake. You are. Oh my God. Yeah, what do you think? I conquered a fear, I never thought I would do this. How does it feel? How nice, what are you doing? So that's her head, don't worry about it. Yeah, she's coming up to see you. Maya, just look at me. She's sticking her tongue out because she's smelling. Like I said, snakes smell with their tongue. She's saying, what's up? I am scared. Don't be scared. Can I really search you? Sure, if you want. Okay, just like that? Yeah, sure. I just a snake. Good job! Oh my God, I never thought I would do that. Good job! Oh my God. Snakes are not so scary, guys. I know the black racers, do you know those? Or I think that's what they're called, I don't know. In Florida? Yeah, sure. There's one in my yard yesterday morning. Cool! I flinched, because he shh. They're fast. Yes. That she's not as fast. But generally, what we want to teach people with snakes, a few things. One, they're really not as scary as you think. They're actually quite cute. Why do you think people are so naturally scared of snakes, though? I think, well, there's a lot of venomous species of snake. And there's not enough anti-venom in the world for that. So there's a legitimate fear there. But I think a lot of it is media too. Like it's a learned thing that people are like, ooh, thanks. Scary, because they're really demonized. But really, they're chill. They're like any other wildlife. They aren't interested. They're not out to get you. They're just living their lives. And they're cute and cool and just super misunderstood overall. Also, maybe this doesn't apply to you clearly, but some people are really into snakes and want them as pets. And so there's an issue with the pet trade as well. One of the reasons she's called the ball python is if they get scared, they'll curl up into a ball, which makes them very easy to poach. So people will take them out of the wild to sell them into the pet trade, because people want them, which is obviously not good for those wild populations either. Is that like illegal to sell snakes to people or no? It's a complicated question, it depends where you are. There is a ton of wild capture that happens even in the US for the pet trade today. Before Patschy, we had a ball python that was a confiscation from LAX. So somebody put like hundreds of baby ball pythons in bags, stuffed them in PVC pipe, and then shipped them through cargo into LAX. Who would do that like Satan? Poachers that are just trying to make money, you know, cause there's money to be made there. That snake did not survive, but that happened in 2021, y'all. Like it's still happening. So if you're getting pets, be aware of where your source of nose pets from as well. OK. Yeah, no, I'll never get a snake. I'm too scared of them, but I respect them. Did this help? Yes, this overcame a fear. I never thought I would actually pick up a snake in my life. That's the first time I've done that. Yeah, you did great. She looked chill. I mean, it doesn't look scary. She's the chillest. How old is she? She's four, I think. Do you guys see kind of like the holes on the besides your mouth there a little bit, kind of sorta. Those are pit organs or heat sensing organs so they can kind of like see their praise heat signature sort of like a, I don't know if they have like a thermal or something in your game. I think that's a thing in some other games. Yeah, thermal, that'd be glass sniper rifle. Cool, so it's kind of like that maybe, I don't know what that is, but I think it's kind of like that. Is it like that, Chuck? Like, yes, thermal heat sensor, yes, that's class. Okay, I'm doing my best. Anyway, so this is Pachi, she's the coolest and she's very nice and you guys don't need to be as afraid of snakes as you thought. Yeah, she is very sweet. She's so nice. She actually just licked my arm and then looked at me and I was all she did. Yeah, that was nice. All right, great. So like, you're doing good. We ramped up a little bit. I actually am less nervous. Oh wait, I forgot we started at easy. No, I'm doing okay. So we're going to move on to the bugs. Okay, sweet. Alright, I'm going to put Patchy away. And then I'll come back and get you your blindfold. How do you guys think I'm doing? Pretty good? Dude, I never, terrible, alright. I never thought I would actually pick up a snake, so that's pretty cool. Okay, so, you're afraid of bugs. Yeah, yes. A lot of people are afraid of bugs, and I find sometimes the best way to get over your fear of bugs is exposure and flooding. So, I'm gonna blindfold you. Wait, blindfold? Yeah, I'll blindfold you. My, I don't know if this is a great idea. James, you mean you go way back, right? You trust me? So I'm going to be blindfolded just randomly touching bugs. I'm going to bring you bugs. Okay. You're going to trust me. All right, I can do it. I can do it. You can put this on and you help. You can do it. Yep. Wow. Brave. Okay. Okay, all right, and then you'll put your hands on the table, palms facing up, hands together. Amazing. Okay, so I'm going to go in there, I'm going to grab you a bug. Woo! Woo! Okay, woo! No poisonous bugs, right? Nope. Why did you go, nope. I'll be back, I'm going to get you a bug. Why did she hesitate? I'm going to get you a bug, I'm going to bring it back. Why did she hesitate? Why did she hesitate? Alright. Winehole makes this so much scarier. Okay. So. Maya, I'm scared, wait, Maya. Here we go, Chad, I'll show Chad the bug first. Maya, I'm scared, no Maya. Maya, I can't do this. This is the bug, this is my friend. Okay. All right, Jake, see rules first before we do this. He is alive, so you can't throw your hands in the air, Like you can't like throw him because that would be fucked up, right? My can I take the one? No? Who am I I'm actually scared you got a trustee. It's definitely a spider. I promise you I promise you It will not hurt you promise. It's not a spider. I promise you. It's not a spider. Okay. I'm good That's that make a better. Yes. Okay. Are you ready? Yep. Okay. I'm gonna put him in your hands. Here we go Okay, this my hand is gonna touch you first. This is my thumb Okay, okay, and he's on my hand, so I'm just gonna guide him onto yours. You ready? Yeah. All right. Here we go This is fire. Nope. I told you he's not a spider. I feel I also okay. He's walking under your hand. Is he a He's hard. He's very hard. He's like really he's like a rock is he Is it like a big big? Whoa? He's got sharp sharp hands Whoo? Okay, he's almost fully on your hand now. I'm gonna move my hand away, and he's gonna be on your hand Okay, now it's just him on your hand. Oh my god. I'm really scared. I just His antenna hit me or something. What is he like does have in town? Yes. He feels like a Big beetle or a big crab or really great gas Yeah Okay, how do you feel? Oh? I'm Okay, I'm doing it. I'm fine. I'm gonna take your blindfold off. You know see him. Oh, yes Yes, yes. He was a big beetle. He doesn't even look real. He looks like AI. He doesn't look real. Maya, he looks like AI generated. Is he not real? Is he fake? I was so scared how did you get him to walk? He is also not in control he didn't really go though I'm sitting here and then I'm looking I'm like, this looks like a toy and he's not moving. Yeah. Yeah. No, you did really great. And I do this with people to make sure that they're not going to throw their hands up before I put a real bug in their hands, because I can't trust them to do that until I see them succeed. So now I'm going to put the blindfold back on you, and I'm actually going to bring you a bug. OK. Probably a real beetle? I don't know. It's not a spider. All right. All right, put your blindfold back on. here we go. This one I have underneath this desk. Oh my God. I won't leave. Okay. I'll be right here. Okay. Oh. All right. Heart rate's climbing again. Okay. How are you feeling? You ready? Good. I'm ready. I feel better now. I'm going to put them in your hands in three. Can you do the same thing where you start with like thumb so it just like sort of eases into it or are you just going to drop them right in? Sure. I'll put them. I'll put them on your thumb so you can. Maya, is this a spider? Nope. Okay. Are you ready? I'm ready. Three, two, one. What the fuck was that? What the fuck, what the fuck just hit me? He squirted or something. What the fuck was that? Maya, Maya, what the fuck is this torch? Something just, like I was spit on or something? Can I take my blindfold off? Yeah, okay. I'll try it with this one. Okay. Is there any actual bugs in here? Yeah. Okay, alright. No, I put these gloves on. I thought like an accident happened. I'll take my blindfold off. Okay. Woo! Woo! We need no more blindfold? No. So that was all a joke. I thought it was gonna be okay I'm sorry. All right put these gloves on. I'm gonna bring you bugs for real I thought like a severe accident happened to me live Like I thought like a venomous like bug just Because you were like because you were like are you ready and I heard your voice like up here, so like Okay Somebody said now bring him the t-rex you have a t-rex in here. I don't I won't do that. Oh, I need blops Yeah, you're good. You're good. All right, put those put those on I'm gonna bring you bugs and we're gonna we're gonna ramp up Okay, we're gonna go gateway bug first and then we're gonna get you to okay cool cool cool Being able to see just makes it like Way better see I told you I Do have strategy Hi-Fi said, now please bring him a hungry snake. So Hi-Fi, do you want me to just like die? That's content for you, Hi-Fi? You sick degenerate. Why are you so bad at putting gloves on? I don't know. Well, what's in there? I don't see anything. Oh, I see a tiny bug. Yeah, little bugs. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, I love him. Yes, I know. He's literally just, he's so cute. Okay. But why does that happen? Like, it's because your hands are sweaty. It's okay. Okay. Ah, mmm. Okay, so. Good to go. Okay, so to begin our bug program for real this time, these are zebra isopods. Whoa, they're tiny. Zebra isopods. You guys may know these as rolypolis or plethora of other common names. I don't know. Everybody calls them something different. This is like the Mediterranean version of the rolypoly. Those are rolypolis. I've always heard that term. You've never seen rolypoly? No. Really? Maybe. Yes, you have. Are they big, are they common in Florida? They're all over, yeah. OK. So this is the little guy. All right, this is our, this is the gateway bug. It's just a little tiny guy. This is Marty. There you go. So Marty is an isopod. Wait, Maya, how do you know his name? There's like five of them. They're all named Marty. So then. Smart. This is an isopod, a zebra isopod. Don't eat it. Why are you saying that? No, I wouldn't. Why are you saying that? I would not eat this. God, he's tiny. Oh my God. Yeah, he is little. Does he have eyes? Oh yeah, yeah. They come in lots of different colors, shapes, sizes. They can be orange. They can have purple spots. They can be yellow. They can be striped like this. They can be small like that. They can also be huge like this. They can be that big? Yes. This is a giant marine isopod, plushy. But this is life-size. These live at the bottom of our oceans right now. This is also a type of isopod. How did those get so big versus? Different species. The same roly poly? Sorry. Yeah, I guess you can call that a roly poly if you want it. They're crustaceans. So this is not an insect. It's not a bug, technically, either. It's a crustacean. So if you ate it and you were allergic to like shrimp, you would also be allergic to Marty Do you how can you tell if these are boys or girls? That is a great Question, I don't know the answer to I Don't know I think this is a girl. Maybe okay. What makes you say that I Don't know just off like I'm just fiving out. Okay off the vibe. Okay, cool So you're not scared of this bug that you're doing fine. No, she's not moving at all. She or he or he Marty Marty I Don't know not moving great How old is this book like a day a week a month a year ten years that one in particular? I am not sure Could be could be weeks could be longer definitely not ten years though So you guys constantly get these things? Yeah, well they breed and we have a couple colonies and they breed in these colonies. So it's important to me to show people bugs because they're quite misunderstood and super, super important for our environment. Do you know what an invertebrate is? Invertebrate means they have no brain or no bones, one of the two. No spine. No spine. Invertebrates have no spine. do have a spine. So vertebrates are what you guys think of when you think of all animals. Okay? So like, birds, mammals, reptiles all have spines, right? We have spines. So we're vertebrates. How many species of vertebrate do you think there are on the planet? 17. So all... that's fine. Okay, because guess the 17. The correct answer for how many vertebrates there are on this planet is actually closer to 60,000 so I thought it was one of those trick questions no that's fine that's fine the species like like a all birds mammals reptiles combined you know we've met how many species say like three 60,000 species of vertebrates how many species of invertebrate do you think there are on this planet? So this would be no spine. No spine. There's going to be less. I'm going to say 20,000. 20,000. The correct answer is actually about 1.3 million. I don't expect you to know the answer to these questions, by the way. That's the point. Lots of invertebrate species. Invertebrates rule our planet. Mind you, these are all only identified species. There are so many more species that are unidentified. Invertebrates absolutely rule our planet. Without bugs, we all would die. I don't mean that lightly. No bugs, we all die. This bug is really important because it's a detritivore. It eats decaying matter. And so it helps recycle soil nutrients and stuff. We can use to grow things. We need plants to survive. So when you say vertebrates or invertebrates, does that just classify as bugs? Or would I be considered a vertebrate? You are a vertebrate. OK. So it applies to it. OK, got it. Yeah, okay, so we're gonna go a little bit bigger, all right? Okay. Cool. I'm gonna introduce you to Barbara. Barbara, that's definitely 100% a spider name. It's gonna be a spider. She's not a spider. I'm trying to pre-fire that. Oh, she's... I can't even see. Oh, beetle! is a Madagascar hissing cockroach. She's a cockroach? I thought it was a beetle. Yeah, there's a few barbers in here. Let me grab one of them. So I know you said you don't like things that hiss. Is she going to hiss right? Am I? She's hissing. Yeah, they are hissing a little bit. Am I? Does that mean they're aggressive? No, it just means that they're scared. So these are Madagascar hissing cockroaches here. Chad, I'll show you. So actually, this is not Barbara, this is BakedBean. The males are all named BakedBean. The females are all named Barbara. Where are you going? Wow. So this is BakedBean. Madagascar hissing cockroaches can hiss. It's a defense mechanism. Oh, you're gone. Oh, sorry. These, just like our isopods, are also detritivores. So they break down detritus. And that's a really important job that they have for making new soils for us. Would you like to hold him? Okay, if he hisses, does that mean he wants to attack? No. That just means he's uncomfortable with the situation. Yes. Okay, hands over the table here. Don't move, right? And then just slowly ease up. Yeah, like what you thought was going to happen with the blindfold. amazing. Maya, you might climb up my arm. He may. Maya. Maya, you might climb up. Okay. See you on the hands, bro. Please. So... Maya's going to go up my arm. I'm reading chat. Maya. I know that people don't love cockroaches. I'm very aware of that. Why do we not like cockroaches? Because we associate them with really dirty places, right? You see a cockroach and you're like, oh, yuck, roach, right? I said they're Detroit, so they break down decaying matter. Every species on this planet has a job. They're just going to jump. That helps you out. That helps make the world go round and help support their ecosystem. Their job is to break down decaying matter. So if there is food available in your home or if there's pet food or stuff that they can smell and sense, they're thinking, oh, matter, let me go break that down for you. They're just doing their job, they're not there to be gross or to scare you or to do any of those things, that's just what they're on this planet to do. So I tell people that getting mad at a cockroach for being in a dirty house or dirty situation is like getting mad at a firefighter for being at the side of a fire. They did not cause that problem, they're there to fix it, and that's just what they're on the planet to do. That doesn't mean that that you need to love them. Remind, that's so smart. It doesn't mean that you necessarily even need to not be afraid of them. But I do think it's important that people understand what their job is and what they're trying to do. We don't want to cohabit with cockroaches. They can spread disease. Some people are allergic to cockroach dust. But they're very important for a planet still. So when you see a roach, he's in a dirty house. He's there to help. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. They're there to help. to break things down. There he is! Okay, what'd you think about that, Jensie? I just got concerned because I thought he was going to go up my arm and that was when I started panicking because he just keeps going up, up, up, like... They move pretty fast. Whoo! Yeah. And this is one of the larger species of cockroach. These are only in Madagascar. Some cockroach species can fly, this one can't. Do you like Asgard like the movie? It is the place, yeah. Oh, it's like a gigantic island, right? Yeah, it's also a movie. He is a big roach. I haven't seen one that big before. They're quite big. Yeah. Cool. Okay, you can take your gloves off again. Now, okay, so grab the, like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, good tech, yep, yep, yep, okay, great. So now I'm gonna, I'm gonna bring you a venomous bug, okay? What if he bites me? We're gonna meet a venomous bug, it's an arachnid. That is a spider, spiders are arachnids. There are arachnids, but there's other things that are arachnids as well that aren't spiders. What could be an arachnid that's not a spider? Scorpion? Yes! A scorpion. Okay, if he's venomous, I shouldn't be handling him, right? This is tortellini. He's an Emperor Scorpion, he's hiding right now. I'll show you, he's just a baby, he's probably under here. Yeah, there he is. That's Tortellini, the Emperor Scorpion, cute little baby guy. He looks like Skarner from League of Legends. I don't know, I know what League of Legends is actually, but I don't know who that is. He's just a cringe champion in that loser's play. Oh, got it. So this is pretty small, at full size, he'll be this big. So he'll grow to be about the size of my hand. Scorpions grow like snakes grow, which I didn't show you a snake shed today, but they grow like this. So this is Tortellini's baby book. They molt their exoskeleton. So this was when Tortellini first came to us in 2021, and this was his most recent molt. So he's got a ways to go, but this is how they grow, honey. You named him after the Italian dish tortellini? Yeah. Someone said she fucking hates you, bro. Who? The Scorpion or you? I think they were talking about me. I don't hate Jaincy. I also don't think that he's dumb. OK. No, I'm just smart in certain categories. Yeah, he's taught me things today. Like what? Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical first person shooter. She's right. So scorpions are arachnids, so are spiders. It kind of goes like arachnid, scorpion, spider, other things, right, vinegar, and blah, blah, blah. This is a venomous bug, like I said. So as some of you guys know, scorpions can sting, right? And if he did sting, it would be kind of like a bee sting. It's not going to kill you, but it's like a bee sting. Have you ever thought about, this is a weird shaped animal, right? Scorpions? Yes. Have you ever thought about how they bang? Like two scorpions. Yeah. I don't know, but I'd assume it's hard with the claws and stuff. Oh. Do you want to guess? Like what does that look like in your eyes? Two scorpions banging. You want me to sort of simulate how I fake that ghost? Yeah. So this is the male. This is the female. OK. I don't think. Just sort of. So you think this is his penis? I don't. That's fine. I mean, that's a fair guess. If that's your guess. I'm going with that. OK. OK. Everyone's laughing. I've never been asked this, how do scorpions bang? Do you want to know? Sure. Okay, so this is the male here, this would be the female, not to scale, not color, represented it, like they're stuffed animals. But in this case, this is the male, this is the female, so the first thing that they'll do is they'll hold hands, which is cute and nice. Oh. So like sweet, yeah. They'll find each other, they'll hold hands. That's nice. And then they'll kind of dance around a little bit. They'll do this, cute, cute. And then when she's ready, the male will drop this, which is a sperm packet, also called a spermatophore. So he'll drop a sperm packet onto the ground, like so. And then he will guide her on top of it. And then she will pick up the spermatophore into her operculum boom bam, she's pregnant. It's a loot drop. So he hands them a frigging packet, yo. Yep. I, that is the most interesting thing ever. So even they have their little romance. Yeah, isn't that nice? That is very, very cute. Yeah. Cool, well, the more you know, everybody. All right. They also have a really cool party trick. I don't think it should, we're not touching him right. You will not be holding the Scorpion today. Today. You want to say something cool? Yes, yes, yes. Maybe some of you know that Scorpions can do this, maybe some of you do not. My chat obviously knows this. Not because my chat's smarter, they just seem to do this program like in Rehabs. You guys are smart. Scorpions we got to turn the lights off to show you Yeah, everybody knows okay. Do you know about this? No, okay? So we're gonna turn the lights off. This is a black light the buttons on the top So you can go ahead and shine the light on him and show them what the hell What? It's not me. How is he blue? Scorpions fluoresce under black light Oh, that is so cool. Crazy, right? Wow. So cool. Yeah, so if you guys in Florida actually and in Texas, if you go out at night with a black light, you start looking around, you could find scorpions this way. They will light up. Pretty sick. I'm going to turn the lights back on. Sorry. There you go. You have a lot of knowledge. Jesus. Thanks. They do my best. So what do you do? Yeah. So that is like, now I've seen scorpions. Scorpions that are like gigantic. Yeah, this was small like a tiny one. Yeah, he's a baby. Oh He will be big. Mm-hmm. He'll get to be like the size of my hand But I thought you said he took him four years to get to this point. Yeah, it goes pretty slow So how many years does it take for him to get like full size? I? actually would have thought that he would be Bigger by now, but I've never raised a scorpion. So I'm actually not super sure Maybe another five years, but that's a question for an animal care staff, probably not me. They're saying in one ear out the other, I don't think you said how many years it would take for him to be like gigantic. I didn't say that. So the chat is stupid. Dump, dump. Because you said it took him from 2021 to 2026 to get to this point, right? Yeah. And then you showed me the diaphragm. See, chatting. You guys aren't listening to Maya. I'm listening. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, so what did you think about the bugs? Um, that was so cool. When he glued in the dark, that was probably the coolest thing I've seen, honestly. I was sick. What's diaphragm? Diaphragm? You said diaphragm, you said diagram. Oh. Oh. He glued in the dark. And I said glue no when he glowed glowed when he glowed in the dark, but that was sick You know this another sorry to be a nerd here But it did look like the scorpion was black eyes black eyes is the best skin in the game of Rainbow Six Siege It's like a light blue when you when I put the flash on him. He's looked like that. That's cool All right, there you go guys. He's like black eyes. Nobody said that before yep High-fives is typing brother You're doing great. Thank you. Thank you. I think you're doing really good. I actually didn't think I was going to learn like a million things today, but I am. I've been really, yeah, I've been really thrown at you, sorry. Yeah. So do you, like, when you do the tour, do you always do like the same animals or do you sometimes do different stuff? Sometimes I switch it up for the most part. It's the same. There will be some animals that we don't visit today and like some animals that we do that other people don't see. So yeah. Yeah. Yeah, guys, I don't hate Jinxie. That's just what my face looks like. Okay. Jinxie, I think you're doing great. I think you're real smart. And I really appreciate you coming out here. Thank you. You know, actually, for real though, he never does IRLs. Yeah, this is like my fifth one of the year. And he came all the way out here just to do the stream, which is so sick. Like, I'm genuinely so grateful, And I'm so grateful you guys are here watching, too. I hope you're learning something, and I hope you're also having fun. Thank you so much. Yeah, no, I'm flying back home tomorrow morning. That's crazy. But I always did kind of want to do this. And then when you mentioned it at the streamer games, I was like, OK, it looks like pick a day and just do it. So nice. So sick. OK, are you guys ready to go outside? Yes. OK, we are going to switch to the backpack, and then we're going to go on a tour of the whole sanctuary. All right, I'm going to show you some animals. They do get fluffier from here. Yes. Yes, I like fur fluff. My f***ing is the bathroom real quick. Audio is the bathroom. The army? Oh, yeah, I don't know. Yep. Okay. Sorry. I'm sorry about that. Audio? Do you want to show them? There's a bunch of stuff in there. Can you guys hear me? Hey. Hello, hello, hello, hello. Chat testing. Awesome. Great. What's up? How you doing? I was kind of trying to ask him what you guys were like before. Because I've had sketch out here and I've had Ron out here as well. And he said that you guys would kind of be like their chats. And it does seem that way. way. And I love their chats. All, like, really super, like, just so funny. And love seeing their streamer get shit on. And I love shitting on your streamer up here. So, thank you for hanging out. I really appreciate it. And if I have the opportunity to shamelessly plug, if you want to follow Alvea Sanctuary on Twitch, that would be really awesome, because we've got live cams, and it helps us a ton to have people watching them. So, if you want to see Share animals or a second monitor stream and put the camslet that would be really great. Thank you so much. We're also running for charity today. We're a non-profit. If you're able to donate, amazing. No worries if not, you being here is really awesome too. Thank you so much. Ask him about his turtle. Oh, that's right. That's the only time. I've only met Jinxie one other time. I was at Streamer Games. I met him, or he DMed me about a turtle. I forget what we... I don't know. about a turtle ages ago and now he's here. Don't mind his awkwardness. I think he's doing great. I think a little grace too, like coming in here not really knowing me and being scared, like, doing pretty good. Welcome back. I'm back. Alright. Do you want me to back home? Yes. Okay. These are our chat phones. Who's Terry? Your turtle. Oh yeah, that's the turtle I texted you about. Yeah. They're doing great. There's two of them. Terry and Tori. We found a girl. Wow. Yeah, he's full-sized. He's like fits in your hand Okay. Oh, I hold this around. Whoa. Whoa. I've never used you. You don't have to bend to it if you don't want to But you can if you want to do that, right? Yeah, sure. How do you do it just like this? Yeah This is cool Let's just see like how pans, you know so we're going IRL now yeah you don't have to like I feel like IQ okay all right okay um we're gonna we're gonna head out meet some animals we're gonna start with some birds okay sweet all right here we go chat who's IQ our six our six character sorry what's our six rainbow six each oh she basically has a scanner on her arm that pops out like this and she just finds electronics in area. Got it. How many hours do you have in that game? Um, I think it's like six percent of my lifespan on the planet. You're trying. Yeah, like 30 to 40,000 hours probably. That's a statistic. Yeah, six percent of my human life. 30 to 40,000 hours? Probably around 30,000 hours I'd say, because I have like 20 accounts. Oh my god. Yeah, so this is like probably, my chat would probably agree, this is probably the coolest stream I've done because I it's so not what I do that is the craziest thing I've ever heard in my is that that's not normal no okay whoa some of my friends actually have more hours than me which is obscene whoa that's nuts okay so we're going to meet some some birds right now we're gonna I'm gonna spray the bottom of your shoes this is just a disinfectant before we go in enclosures thank you so much chat I'm gonna get your shoes as well amazing thank you so Plus one immersion. Thank you so much. Okay. So this is our emu enclosure. Oh emu why do I know that name? I've seen bush gardens maybe? It has them? Probably yeah yeah a lot of zoo facilities have emus. We've got two of them their names are Stompy and Noly. Stomping? Stompy? Stompy and Noly. Noly got it. Oh my god. they're like human height. They are quite tall. Would you like to feed them or are you scared? I will feed them, yes. Okay here you can hold this. And then you can hold it out and he'll take it from your hands. What's his name? Stompy. Stomping. Oh my god he hates it. She likes lettuce here you can hold this out for her this is nollie. I don't want them to like fight over food. Noly. Oh my god, animals. Maya, that was close. You're the some blonder. She's gonna bite me. No, you won't. She won't. She won't. She's nice, so that's Noly. They're so big. They are. Yeah, I know it's kind of a weird animal. Do you want to feed grapes or is that too much? He just likes your bracelet. What's Tom been doing? He likes your bracelet. He likes flank to me right there. You want grape? You want grape? That's nice. Oh, no, he doesn't want a grape. He's just maybe not hungry? Yeah, maybe not. Noly, do you want a grape? Do you want to feed her grapes or are you scared? Sure. Okay. Oh, he likes the grapes now. That's nice. Don't leave him. Good job. He has like a little haircut. Oh. One more. That's it. All right. more. That's it. All right. Okay, brother and sister. No, they're lovers. Stompy is it Stompy's a male Noley's a female. Do they have children like babies? They know he has laid eggs in here. Yeah, but they have not they have not made it in here. But they do they are they get along great. Can I pet the back? Yes. Yeah, you can pet Stompy. So Stompy came here in 2021. He was actually at the zoo that I worked in college. Okay Maya, he literally loves you. Oh my god. The dad sit on the eggs and his dad abandoned his clutch of eggs. He was incubated and then brought here. And he's a really sweet bird. Stop me, so nice. She's like very cute. Oh my gosh. Do you want to give him a hug? How do I do it? Kind of like a person but it's a giant bird. Does that help? Yeah, so just like kind of like, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, that's nice. He rubs his head on my shoulder. That's a nice stomp. I love these stompin'. Aww. So nice, Stompy. Good job. Woo. Oh my god, he's so cute. You want to see a cool feature of their enclosure? Yes. So we just built this out. Emus are Australian birds. They can't fly. You probably knew that. Some people get emus and ostriches mixed up. And ostrich is much larger and they live in Africa and emus are from Australia. And they're smaller. And they love water, by the way, which is fun. You can lean on that rock, or sit on that rock and I'll go over here and we'll see if they want to come in for a swim. Stoppy! There he goes! So they drink from here? Yeah, they drink in here, they swim in here. This is a splash pad, so they have rain. They have a rain feature in here, so it'll literally rain from the pipes on the top. There's nozzles on the side, so it'll spray inwards as well. So it's like it's like man-made rain there. That's cool. We actually have a feature on the live cameras Where chat can donate to turn the rain on all right now because we're like in here with a DSLR, but That is that's how we built it. There's lettuce. That's so nice Wow 100 subs to drink that water. We're not gonna drink the water. Yeah, it doesn't look very drinkable Yeah, that wouldn't be great Hi miss. What do you think? You're also doing good in here because these are like, I get that this is a really intimidating animal. Yeah, they're like literally head level with me. Like they're standing up to me. Yeah, they're tall. They can, guess how fast they can run miles per hour. A cheetah is like 60. This is probably like 40 or something. Close. Yeah, 30. Yeah. 30 is crazy. 30 miles an hour chat. That's some talk, yes, too. Fastest human ever, it's like Usain Bolt. Is that like 19 or 20? I think it's 20 something, right, Chad? So this is faster than Usain Bolt? Yeah, yeah, for sure. Let's. 28. Whoa. Tractor. How old are they? Stompi was born Valentine's Day, 2021. And Noly, I think is a few years older. No, we actually, I'm not sure on that one. And where do they sleep at? I think kind of wherever. Wherever? They have this whole enclosure and then they have the other side of it as well. Like on the other side of this fence, they have all that stuff too. Yeah, they're big. Are those like the tallest animals you have? Not quite. You have taller animals in this? Yeah, yeah, we do. Yeah, we do. their run is so funny yeah I know it's crazy they're really they're just a weird a weird animal they're dinosaurs fully that was cool I gave him a hug you didn't give him a hug he was so nice he rested his head on my shoulder like that's so cute okay we're getting fluffier okay we're gonna go see the monkeys what's the name the monkeys oh the monkeys my I had already told you a monkey through poop at me one time yeah that's never happened here there was glass blocking it obviously but it landed right where my face was okay well we won't have glass in between you and the monkey you will be in with the monkeys are these like orangutans or chimpanzees no these are marmosets much smaller they're like the size of a squirrel are they sweet yeah usually like sometimes they're not sweet sometimes one of them is no they're great you'll have them are they like strong like could they beat me up okay they're a little but they're usually great one of them is always great one of them one of them is always great and then one of them is sort of like a problem child you're gonna have no problems whatsoever with Momo I guarantee you that Momo what's the other one's name Appa Appa is sort of a op would you say can be sometimes but It usually is great. Oh my God, the right one here? Yeah, this is the marmoset enclosure. So we're gonna go see them. Up a Momo. All right, here we go. Hi Momo. So we have two marmosets. They were originally bought by someone in the city of Austin to be pets. So we like ordered them online and got them as pets. And that didn't work out. Monkeys don't make good pets, it's super unfair to them. They didn't get taken care of properly. So they came here for rehabilitation and then to help teach people about the exploitation of primates in the pet trade. Oh my god, it's tiny. Yeah, you little guy. So that's Momo. Where's the other one? Up there. Appa will probably come out of one of those two doors. Chat, predictions, left or right? Oh, Appa's sleeping. Yeah, they have AC in there. Oh my god, he's so cute. I've never been this close to a monkey before, Maya. Isn't he cool? He has like hair. Those who said right, congratulations, he came out of the right door. Hi, buddy. Oh my god, they're so cute. Apa's hair is white and then his hair on the side is black. Yeah, you're right. He's a black tufted marmoset and he's a white tufted marmoset. So they're two different species. Are they boy and girl or both boy? They're both boys. They're both Brazilian species of monkey. Hi, Momo. From Brazil? Yeah. Can I touch his tail or will he freak out? He probably won't let you. He may jump on your shoulder. If you want to like walk towards me. Should I just like be calm? Whoa, I just saw his nuts. Oh my god, I saw his balls. Alright, maybe not here. Walk over here. We'll stand over here and then see. Why are his balls generous? They do have pretty big balls. I'm sorry that he, I'm sorry that he flashed you like that. Did you catch that? I don't know why he did that. No. Wow, that came out of nowhere. No, actually, it's a dominant thing. Sometimes he likes, if you give him a stick, do you want to hand him this? Yes. This one is Appa. Yeah, and then just let go and he takes it. That's for you, buddy. Let go now? Yeah. You can walk. No, like, you can hand it to him. Like, walk up to him and like, hand it off. Oh, he's scared of me. Appa. Appa, do you want this? Oh. Do you want the stick? Appa. Papa. Papa. Oh, maybe he doesn't. Here, let me see. Papa. You want that? He doesn't want it. He wants the cameraman. He likes the lens because he can see himself in it. I think these are the cutest animals I've seen yet. Isn't that crazy? He has a tiny little face. He's so cute. I want to pet him, but I don't think he'll let me. Yeah, neither of them really like being touched. the one who occasionally will bite too. Momo doesn't bite and also he's had almost all of his teeth removed because he had dental disease, because he was fed all the wrong things and that guy had a muscle pain. So Momo... Sorry, I was a tractor. Yup. So Momo's never bit anyone ever? I don't think so. I don't, maybe he has. I don't know. He's never bit me and he's... Uh-oh. I think, off of a... Off of his behind me. Oh, hey buddy. They're sneaky. Hi, dude. Off of what up, dude? What is that? Oh, he's got it. What is that? They have fully opposable thumbs, right? Yeah, yeah. He looked right at me. He looked right at my eyes and... If he looks you and you're at, try not to make too much eye contact with him if you can help it, but you can definitely look at him. You want to try to get another stare? Why not? Does he think I'm, like, intimidating him if I do that? Yeah. Fadalma, thank you for coming. Really? Okay, sorry. I didn't tell you that you can give him was a stick like an offering for you Sorry, I don't want to look at you, bro. No, he's looking at me. Never mind. Maya. Yeah, he's aggressive It's okay. I know he's like nervous and it's okay. He's comfortable with you though Yeah, it's very comfortable with you. It's okay, buddy. Like all the animals are It's okay. He's scared Okay, we're not gonna let him get on your shoulder. He would bite you for sure. Yeah, is he very like he's so sussed out by you I don't know why I'm trying. I really didn't do you didn't do anything He just is a weird. He's weird. You know what it is though Well, I think when he turned around and showed me his balls randomly, I freaked out and I think ever since then the vibe has been weird. I I think the vibes have just been off, honestly, that's my, he keeps looking at me, my I don't know what to do. It's okay, it's okay, you can look in his direction, you just don't, like you're so good at not making eye contact, just like don't make eye contact with him. It's okay, it's so easy. Here you go, you like that? Not into sticks today, wants to say hi to chat. Oh my god. Hi chat. Oh my god, he's right in the lens. to my name's Papa. So you know how I told you guys that every species has a role to play on this planet? These guys are seed dispersers. Holy ball shot. Sorry chat. These guys are seed dispersers, so they'll eat fruits, swing around tree to tree, and then shit everywhere. And so they're planting seeds in the forest, like replanting forests. So sick, so smart. But they'll do that in your house too. So if you get a pet monkey, they're just going to swing around everywhere and shit everywhere. And you don't want that and then also it's really unfair to them to have them in your house, too So monkeys are not pets don't get a monkey's but people do that. Yeah big time. Yeah Yeah All right, I think those win my prize so far for the cutest animal like their faces are so tiny Yeah, their faces are really really tiny and really intricate. There's like a lot going on in there. My god. Is mumbo older? Yeah Oh, and there's his balls. OK. Yep. Oh, he didn't really care about sticks. Do you want? Oppa likes sticks more? Yeah, Momo doesn't care. All right. All right, you want to meet some crows? Yes. Those were so crows. I think at one point, Oppa did want to knock me out, though. He was. He would have bit you. Yeah, he was like staring at me. and I kept trying to not look at him. So I said. Out. Oh, nice, okay. Okay. Maya, this whole operation you got here is pretty badass. Thanks, bro. Appreciate that. This is pretty sick. It is pretty sick. I like it here. And you've been building out for like, what, five years? Yeah, that's all. I mean, when we bought this property, this is some of our animal care staff. How's it going? Hey guys. Nice to meet you too. We're having a great time. Yes, yes. And nobody got bit. So, yeah, I bought the property in 2021, there's nothing on it. And we've just been building enclosures since then. It's been crazy. Now we've got a team of 16 out here in person. Yeah, man, it's a lot. Okay, so these are the crows. We'll see how they do. With heavy equipment, sometimes they get weird. like the tractors that are driving by. So they may or may not come down because they're scared of those noises. Oh, wow, they're loud. They are a little loud. Let's see. Oh, I see them. Oh, I don't actually have crow treats. Huh. OK, well, we can go in there. But I think they probably won't come down. Hi, guys. Oh, there's no treats. Yeah, I don't have crow treats. Sorry. Hi! They're also, okay, chat, they're also molting right now so they look really chopped, but it's just because they're losing feathers and growing them back. What do you mean by molting, just like shedding? Yeah, they lose their feathers and they grow new ones in. Is their mouth always open like that? Yeah, they're hot and they're stressed out because of the tractor noises. They also drool. Really? Yeah, you've seen that. Yeah, I just saw one drop there. Yeah, kind of nuts. They're not gonna come down today. How old are these guys? They were born in 2020-ish, or Abbott was. They came, they were born in central Texas and then they were blown out of their nest by a storm. Somebody took them in, raised them at their house and they imprinted on people, like in Twilight. What do you mean imprinted? So they learn to identify with humans as a species and never learn how to take care of themselves as crows. So when birds imprint on a species, that's how they learn who to mate with, to migrate to, what to be afraid of, what to eat, where to find shelter, and these guys were raised by humans, so they never learned how to be a crow. That means they can't. You're okay. It's okay. I shook myself. Here, you want to give me your chat phone? That was so quick. And then, you can't, oh. Addicts. Let's all come over here. at it! Yuck, I'm out! Um, and then, if you stand right there, and then hold your arm at your left arm out, yeah, I like that. What does that mean if he runs away? I should have said what Ron said. Yeah, that's what, yeah, that's... What did Ron say? Uh, I... back in your call or something? I don't even know what that is. It just sounded cool. Um, um, so... So, does that ever happen where he just runs away? Would it make you feel better if I said, yeah? Yes. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Abbott! I don't think... Abbott! Do you want to come out? Yes. Abbott! Should I go back and then, like, kind of bait him out? Abbott! Ron said hold your arm out. Sure, you know, you can stand there and you can hold your arm out and see what happens. Abbott? Abbott? Abbott? Okay, this is... Should I just say the line? I don't think it's going to work. Oh, the whole chat's just laughing, okay. So have you ever had a crater where they just like kind of don't go into the arm? Yes. Okay. Most, even. Most, okay. Yeah, that's okay. So something about Ron, where Ron's just like cute and cuddly, I think. They really want you to say it. Want me to say it? Here, you can stand where all those sticks are. And then, yeah, and then put your arm out like this. Okay, but if he doesn't go on my arm, I'm going to lose a lot of weight. That's a gamble. Okay, so do it right now? Yeah. Abbott, I beckon your call. Ah, ah, ah, ah. Alright, let's go. It's just because Ron is like a cute little fall guy's character. This is awkward. I was really looking forward to that. Um, I think you did everything that you could. Yeah, maybe he just was hungry or something and just wasn't in a good mood. Yeah, maybe. That could be it, yeah. I feel like the animal- like, have you ever seen the movie- Rocky, could I grab that? Rocky! Yeah, thank you. Sorry. Have you ever seen the movie, Evan Almighty, where the animals follow him? all of them? Um, I haven't actually. Oh, you would probably like them, it's a good movie about animals. I feel like I'm the opposite of Evan. Um, yeah, maybe. Yeah, but I don't really fuck with you. Alright, we're going to go see Push Pop. Push Pop? Oh, shut the fuck up. Push Pop, yeah, if you want. This is a tortoise. Push Pop! Push pop as in the candy? Yes. Oh I haven't had one of those in years. Oh she's in her car wash. Oh my god it's a huge tortoise. She's huge. Chad this is Push Pop's personal scratcher. She likes to hang out in there and scratch her shell. I just stepped in. Oooh. Is that poop or mud? It's mud. It's mud, but I am sorry. Oh, that's not your fault. That's top. I was not droning. Yes. Thank you very much. Does she want to pick some flowers for her? No, you can draw them on top of this. That's all right. You'll survive. This is Pushpop salad. Hey buddy. Is it a girl? For you. She's about six or seven years old, I think. We hope she lives to be over a hundred. She'll be at obvious sanctuary for a century. And she'll get much, much bigger. So this is the third largest species of tortoise. We hope that she'll get to be big tortoise. You know, big tortoise. She hardly is pretty big. She is pretty big. So she just likes healthy food, like vegetables? She eats salads. Yeah, that's her thing. Sometimes it takes her a minute to lock in, you know? Should I try to put the salad in front of her? Sure. Oh, nice. Nice. Oh my God, it worked. Oh my God, it worked. Here she comes. She's so cute. Oh my God. She does really good ASMR segments. Yeah, I can imagine. Very crunchy. She's just smelling. So her diet is like perfect. Yeah, she gets lettuce, she gets supplements, she gets flowers. Let's go for it. Let's go for it. Oh my God, she has a long tongue. She's so cute. She's literally so cute. She's pretty awesome. So this is a solcodotortis, also called an African spurred tortoise. They're from Africa. They are an endangered species of tortoise. One of the reasons is they're being out-competed on their native grasslands by cattle. Um, because they graze kind of like a cow does so she eats a lot of greens as you can see It's her defense mechanism. Does she just hide in her shell? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, she's scared. Yeah, there's a lot of a lot of Sorry about that. Oh, you're good I think the animals get tweaked up. I hey, maybe that's why Abba didn't go on my arm Yeah, well genuinely though. That's what I said before I went in there. I was like, there's a lot of sounds today The crows are gonna be weird So yeah, it was wasn't you It's the machinery I'm surprised how long I've actually never really been this close to a turtle or a tortoise or tortoise I should say mm-hmm So that's how long their neck is like it really pokes out of there. Yeah She's pretty sick. You can touch her shell through if you want They can they can feel everything through their shell. They've got blood vessels all through there scared She can feel that yeah Hey push pop Whoa, no, it's okay. She's just expelling her. She's not hissing at you. You're good Push pop are you okay? Does she want me to pet her? You can pet her. She's part of it So she can feel that yeah, I did not know that liar. It's like a big shield it is She's pretty sick. Can I feel her arm? Yeah Got those spikes on her legs So if she gets scared, she can tuck her head all the way in there and then put her arms like this to block Her head so they're kind of like it's like Rammus from League of Legends like actually though. That's his whole thing Yep, just like that Hey, push pop Nice push pop So a lot of people get tortoises when they're babies too thinking that because they're little and cute and don't really plan for a hundred years With them where they get to be huge and high maintenance and so they can't have them for that long Not many people can commit to a tortoise that I mean literally nobody can commit to over a hundred years Yeah, so San Diego's you just lost the tortoise at a hundred and forty two I think they must have been taking good care of it Then yeah, wordy hundred and forty is crazy though They said she's so cute. They said holy dork To me yeah What I say, I think the league thing. Oh Oh, she's going for the real grass, the straight-up grass now. Yay, push! Alright, well, we will let her eat the salad. Let's go see some more fuzzy things again. Are you good? Push pop, it was nice meeting you. Yeah, I'm fine. Okay. Just putting a lot of weight on my calf. Careful with the mud. Okay, sweetie. Oh, push pop! Oh, I'mma dodge the mud. Ugh! Wow. She is cool. She was actually the most friendly one yet. Do you have a walkie on you? No. Do you have your phone? I should have asked, animal carrier, but I want to call them really quick. You got to call Amanda. Can you ask her what the plan with Kossi is? May I have one more question? Yes. How old do you think are not pushable? Wait, what am I doing? What do I do? Amanda, what's the idea with Kossy? I'm sorry, hold on just a second. I'm sorry. What's the idea with Kossy? Um, yeah, no, you're good to go in there. Do you have the suja? I do, yeah, and I have like tweezers. In the basket for you? Yeah. Okay, you can totally open up that little door. Okay. And then do tweezers with the bits. You can't cut its head. Yep, and you can also put it through the mesh. you will come on top of the crate. Okay. All right, thank you. You're welcome. All right, bye. Well, that's how I was gonna ask. How much does Pushpuff weigh? She's just under 30 pounds, I believe, or 20-something pounds. You're gonna be the first one to do this. So... It looks like you guys are building a new... We are. So this is Kossie's new enclosure. We just finished the outside part of it and there's a, like, they're building, That's where I'll walk collaborators into. So there will be, there's like a huge piece of glass right there, and then we'll go under this awning. It's being built right now. Smosh did a fundraiser for this enclosure. Shout out. So, hi guys. So that's why that exists. But we're gonna go see Kossy, who's inside right now. Do you see him? No, I don't see him. Here, stand right here. What is Kossy? She's a man, I'm telling you, gosh, what is that? He is an African serval. Is he like similar to a Jaguar? He is a cat. Yeah, he's a feline. That's a cat? Yeah, he's an African wild cat. He is... It's hard to tell. He's kind of tall, but he's not nearly as big as a Jaguar. That's the biggest cat I've ever seen in my life. Yeah, he's not like a domestic cat. But yeah, we can go in and see him. You're going to be the first collaborator to feed him. He looks so handsome. He is super handsome. Wait, I'm going to go in there? Sure. Is he aggressive or no? He's chill. He's chill. Kossy! Hey buddy! Okay, so this is Kossy's new enclosure. There is AC in here, right? He's in this inside space right now because he just got neutered, so he's recovering. I'm not quite done with the outside space yet, but do you have your camera ready? Are they back out there? What if he went around to like the window maybe? Yeah, yeah. Back. Sorry, we've literally never taken a collaborator in here before, so we need to put like a Wi-Fi at the end here or something, but you F when you walk into this building. You can shoot maybe from there, maybe, to here, and we'll see if you can feed him like this. Okay. What about that window too? Over there? We don't have a, we can't feed him through it. I can only stand over there and like shoot that way. If it's, can, are you good here? Can you see it? I feel like this is probably better. And like shoot that way if it's can pretty good here. Can you see it? I feel like this is probably better Yeah, no, no that just means it's cut off like it does now Do you want a snack? What is that, like a sluja? Because it is a sluja. What do you think? He may not come up here. I've also never done this. I have an idea. Can you pause for a second? Yeah. Can you do this for me? Well, it doesn't really matter if he doesn't come up here. Okay. I can do this. I want this one. Kossy? Oh, that's smart. Thank you. It's good, it's good. It is confused. OK, new plan. How's your aim? How's my aim? Yeah. Pretty good. OK, so you're going to go to this window chamber. You're going to shoot in here. James, he's going to throw the treats to him there. And then he'll eat them down there. Can the audio mic cut? the audio mic cut shot. Okay. So here's the window. I'm gonna just throw it through there. See that little hole? Yeah, you gotta like try to get it on the floor over there. Over in the middle? Yeah, that's just your camera. He's right there. Here we go. Where'd it go? Straight down. Okay, here's another one. That's the only other one I have in the room. Okay. Straight down again. I don't know where it went. Oh my god, it's all over the place. Okay. I'm gonna see if you're interested in the treats that were just thrown down to you. I miss both. He looks so funny. He's so cool. He's so beautiful. But would a human ever be able to like go in there? Oh, he just left. Oh, oh my god. No, we won't take collaborators in there. It's just too dangerous. Yeah. But he's a pretty powerful animal. He's really interested in chat right now and like the camera. I think. God, he's like, he looks so pretty like his little spots. He's so sick. Yeah. So he was bought by somebody at a flea market in Texas to be a pet. There are some people that see this and they're like, oh, it'll just be like having a cat but cooler. And it's nothing like that. It is not a domestic cat. It's unfair for them to be inside your house. They can be super destructive and incredibly dangerous. And so that did not work out. And now he's here. And he'll find those treats, surely. He'll find them. You did great. All right. And we'll work on this segment. Sorry, you were the guinea pig for it. We haven't finished this enclosure yet. I tried to throw them like sideways and I was missing. I should have just threw them straight That's all right Could they hear us at all? Yeah, they could hear us. They could hear us all the time That's like a snake. What? Having horrible aim. Oh, okay. What the hell is this whole thing? No, no, that's not I have decent aim We're going to go see the foxes now. Okay. Ooh! I don't know if I've ever seen a fox either in person. This is so cool. We have two foxes. We've got treats for them as well. Are they like bobcats or is that different? Is that not even a fox? A bobcat is a feline, like a cat, and a fox is a canid, like a dog. So they're not quite... So a fox would be more similar to a dog than a cat? Yes, yes, exactly. I did not know that. Can we go in there? We can. Is he still in there? Sorry, kind of. That's my bad. Yeah, Chandler closes these doors way too loud. Can I grab this one? No. Oh. OK, so welcome to the Fox enclosure. We've got two American red foxes in here somewhere. That's one of them. Oh my god, it's home. His name is Reed. he's a little shy, he'll probably stay away. But we can say hi to Finn, who is, who knows where he is. My name, all of them? No, Chat has named some of them. Oh. Some of them have come with names that they know, so we keep all the bad names. Sometimes, yes. This is their water feature. They have a cool river, pretty sweet. And then, where are they? Ow. Finn! Yeah. Are they both hiding? Yeah. Finn! Is he not in there? He is in there? What the heck? Finn's in there. I don't know, oh, I see him. Oh. I see his tail. Is he sleeping? He's sleeping. Hey sleepy. He's tired. Do you want treats? What are you doing? So this has been, um, he's an American Red Fox. Uh, you want to kneel down? I'll give you some treats. Is he old? No, I don't know why he's just sleepy today. Hey, what's up buddy? Um, he won't let you pet him, but you can keep feeding him. Um, so he's an American Red Fox, but chat, he's not red, right? So he was bred to be this color for the pet trade. He was confiscated from the illegal pet trade in California. But people also breed foxes to be this color for the fur trade. There's still tens of millions of animals a year that are bred specifically for fur. And he just maneuvered for like the shot, that was awesome. He's so handsome also. He's so handsome. Oh my gosh. He said you have way more treats in that hand than the other. So he doesn't like petting though? No. Oh, he knows how to sit? That's a nice sit. Wow, sometimes he'll allow for like a voluntary touch. Let me see. But I thought foxes were like aggressive. Touch, touch, good. So if I do that, let's see if he'll let you touch him all the night, is it? Touch, and then touch him right here, touch, okay, good. Sorry about that. It's okay. I don't want to like start one. Good, good job, wow. He's so smart. That's so nice. Yeah, so not petting, but we do some voluntary touches for vet stuff. So it's like, can we see, can we do a voluntary injection, or can we get eye drops in his eyes, stuff like that? But he's not like a dog in that he likes being pet. Here you go. So with the foxes, yeah. Foxes aren't pets either, and then also the fur trade. So tens of millions of animals a year are still bred, raised, and then slaughtered just for fashion and home decor. fashion that's so fucked. In home decor so we advocate for people not wearing fur. That's just so funny. You're wearing fur it could be thin you know. Yeah and the crazy thing about fur too is it's not like a byproduct you know like it's it's not like we eat Fox meat and then we also use the fur for something it's like they're just raised to be an adult so that there's the most fur possible and then we slaughter them for the pelt which is crazy. It also doesn't look good. good. Hi buddy. He's going back to bed. Right when the food was gone. Oh. Yeah he scared him. He just shoot himself. Right when the food was gone he dipped. Wow. And then the other one is Reed who's very scared. Yeah so Reed is hiding under there right now. Oh my god. He's more of what you think of when you think of a fox. He was orphaned as a baby in the wild. Born in California. he's watching us yeah he's scared he's just uh he does his own thing you know got all the animals here are so cute i like the fur i like i like touching them that was nice fin thank you very much yeah fin was very sweet um all right so those are the foxes this is the fox enclosure it started out as just this building over here and then we expanded um because we got a bunch of donations and had the space. So is Alvias Sanctuary like 100% funded by donations? 100%. That is so cool. Yeah and ad revenue from those cameras and you know. That is so cool. But yeah we're a non-profit. That's awesome Maya. It is crazy. It's like a crazy model and the fact that like I'll show you guys actually a little like behind the curtain here. This is what uh this is what those live cameras look like? It's a freaking spaceship. So it's a Pantel zoom camera and so this is chat like in this enclosure. So you guys can move the cameras to watch the animals. So on the obvious stream it's this POV here? Yep. Oh wow. And so they can watch them all day long. Our animals are able to reach hundreds of millions of people a year without having to meet any of them. Like nobody comes here except for the occasional crater right which is nuts. It's also more chill for the animal too. Yeah, like you're not actually seeing the people in front of you, right? So it's more just calming probably. Yeah, then like a zoo where there's a bunch of kids walking up to you every day Yeah, yeah, we're really we're really excited about About it besides, you know on a normal day. It's much quieter here, too There's a bunch of construction because it costs season closure, but usually It's very quiet All right, I was like my whole life I was terrified of foxes like I didn't I did not know they could be that friendly really yeah I didn't I thought they were kind of like similar to like bobcats and cougars Well, they'll just attack you well they won't attack you either Bob cats and Bob cats and cougars No, I mean if you cornered them maybe um okay Let's Do you we can sky feeling do some water I feel amazing um okay? Yeah, no, we don't have to skip anything either to you. I don't mind I'll just show you, I'll show you this stuff then. So, we're building new enclosures back here, ADAPT sponsored, one of them, the Flock Block. These are our new bird of prey enclosures. So birds of prey like hawks, eagles, falcons, owls, vultures. We're building these enclosures to be able to rescue them. So we have this new building that's going to be storage and a carnivore cafe, which is the kitchen that will service all of our meat eaters from. And then these are five new enclosures to rescue new birds. Nice. Yeah, they're sweet. I'm super proud of them. We just installed these water features too, so they'll all have waterfalls. Oh my god, that's so cool. Check that out, chat. How many birds are going to be over here, you think? Well, we've got five enclosures, so minimum five. Likely more, we hope that some will be able to cohabit in closures, but yeah, they look so sick. Look at this water feature chat. They're not sick. Yeah, that is gonna be so cool. I'm so excited for them. Mike, I have another question, it might be stupid, but like when we would get like dogs or cats, it was always weird if we got like a puppy and the older dog would like mingle with them at first, like because they would attack them or whatever. Is it kind of like that when you put animals in cages at first? Like it's weird at first? Yeah, yeah. Every species is different and then every individual is different too. So when we introduce animals for the first time, we have a whole introduction plan for how to do it. Because they, yeah, they can totally fight and not get along and whatever. So the animal that we're walking up on right now is a wolf dog. He's huge, yeah. We just lost one of our wolf dogs, Awa, recently, and so we're working on finding a companion for Akilah, and we'll have a whole introduction plan for that, because wolf dogs fighting is a big deal. That's the other big. Yeah. How long ago did Awa pass away? Man, feels like it was yesterday, but I think it was last week. I mean, it was really, it was really recent. Yeah, she, she was 12. It's alright. She was 12 and she had cancer But we were able to say goodbye to her here. Our vet was able to come out here to do that euthanasia and so That's about the best we could do for her It's alright. We'll go see what happens for now with Akilah. I don't know So is he just been like sad recently it's uh yeah I mean it's tough for sure you lose that companion were they together for years in here they were together for chat was it one or two years they were together not crazy long and what type of cancer did they look at um she had a salivary cancer rare like is a really fast-growing. So we'll see what Akila does. I have no clue. This is the first time we brought a collaborator in while he's on his own in here. Again, we're working as fast as we can to find a companion that is suitable for Akila because they need companions. Yeah. The way that we got Akila was somebody had him to breed wolf dogs as pets. So this is a wolf dog. So it's not like a full-on wolf? Yeah. He's hybrid between a gray wolf and domestic dog. Now Maya, this might be another dumb question, but how does that even happen? A wolf and a dog mate? Yeah, also not a dumb question. So they'll do artificial insemination, or they'll do some natural breeding. This is another thing where people are like, it'd be so cool for my dog to be part wolf, but it doesn't really work like that. You actually, you get an animal that can never be released into the wild because it's part domestic dog, right? So they're not a wild wolf. And then the vast majority of the time they can never be in people's homes either because it's part wolf. So they get in this weird limbo where the majority of them end up being euthanized. Oh god. He's over there. So is it just like kind of like in Akila's situation? It's like a psychotic reader who just... It was a dude. Yeah, just a dude that that like wanted to breed them to make money. That sucks. Yeah. And I mean the whole thing, I don't know if like wolf dog is any different, but I'm assuming it's the same, but the whole thing with wolves is like, they need packs, right? Yeah, they need companions. So we will have another wolf dog here very soon. I don't know if he's interested in coming up. Oh my God, he's so pretty. I mean, what? Um, Chandler, come over here. It's all standing right here. Do you know what dog he was bred with by any chance? Yeah, he's, uh, he's 60% wolf. And then the rest is German shepherd, Malamute and Husky. Um, he, oh my, he does look like a German shepherd. Can you run? Run straight and along? Like, yeah, run to the stairs and back to see what he does. Like just jog or sprint? Sprint? Sprint. Is he going? No. Okay, I'm sorry for making you sprint. Sometimes Akilah really loves running with collaborators. I think it's because he's sad. Yeah, he's on his own in here. Chat normally, the wolf dogs run up and down the fence line with collaborators, but not today. just ran for no reason. Sorry about that. We will go get you some water. Okay. I was kind of hoping that it would be fun and like good for him. Akila, not Jigsie. To have a friend. Yeah, but he's not interested in running. Yeah, I that's actually really sad. I'm excited whenever he does get a mate in there. Yeah, Yeah, we're working on it. We have one in mind already. Now, does it have to be another wolf dog? Yeah. It has to? Yeah. So, would it be like a full-on wolf or a dog, would it be weird either way? I mean, I guess there's a world that depends on the individual where it could be either of those things, but we're working on finding another wolf dog. There are so many that are in need of rescue placement. Yeah. So we're working on logistics for that right now, actually. Okay, let's go get you water. We'll stop in the studio for a sec, and then we'll go down. Do you want me to carry that? Or you? No, I got it. Thank you. You got it? Okay. That's nice. And then we'll go down, see some other animals. Cool. How many like zones do we have left? Or not zones, I guess like... Enclosures? Enclosures. Three. Three? Okay, cool. How are you doing? How is everybody? I don't know. Really? Good. I've never even seen any of these animals like that close and it's just cool. And they're from all over the world, right? Yeah, they are. Georgie's from like Africa, I think, the frog. Mm-hmm. There's the monkeys are from Brazil. Mm-hmm. It's kind of cool. Tell me more about your attention. Yep. Wow, you're learning. Where was the wolf dogs from? from. Akila came from within the US and so did Ava. Are we muted? No we're back. Okay. We are back. Hello, hello. Chat, what has been your favorite animal so far? And you? I think Push Pop was the sweetest one to me. That's nice. I thought the cutest one was the monkeys but I think Push Pop was probably my favorite. Like She was very sweet. Good. She was not fazed by me being there at all. Yeah. Um. Stompy hugs. Stompy hugged me, yeah. That was really cute. It might maybe stompy, because he hugged me. But I think if Push Pop could hug me, Push Pop probably would. She just kind of can't, because she's like flat. That's fair. She hugged your rage once. She hugged your rage? Push Pop crawled in Rage's lap. It was crazy. Like, I've never seen her like someone like Rage. It was very sweet. It was really sweet. Okay. And then, Opa hated your guts. Yep, Opa just, I think he wanted to fight me at one point. Oh wait, my I have mud on these. That's okay. I can come in. It's an animal sanctuary bro. Okay. Um, okay, here's your water. Thank you. Okay, chat. Quick water break, and then we'll go back outside. Okay, it's nice to see chat on a screen like this too. Oh! Oh. Okay. Is this what you expected? No. Hmm. I was expecting, I don't know if my luck, I was expecting like an animal to attack me or something. Really? Yeah, but all the animals are really nice. Yay. Besides Appa, I think Appa actually wanted to hit me in the face. Can I be honest with you? Appa bit a collaborator yesterday. I don't know if I can say it was a YouTuber, yeah, so the video hasn't come out, but yeah he bit someone yesterday. Yeah, he was the only guy where like I genuinely thought he wanted to like, he wanted smoke. That's why I was just like kind of looking at the floor because he kept staring at me. Yeah, yeah. No, it was not Mr. Beast. Mr. Beast actually is the reason that Noly is here though. He helped build that Union enclosure. So that was nice. It wasn't rug. Are you friends with rug? Yeah. Dude, I want rug to come out here so bad. I gotta talk to him about that. They're saying Appa bit wrong. Is that true? Did Appa bit wrong? Maybe. Probably. Two, like I don't know, two people said it, but. Probably. Probably. Appa's bit a lot of people. I've done it. I that I didn't notice. You have a really small mouth. Like you don't feel them at all. His face is tiny. That's why I thought they were the cutest, because their faces are just like teeny tiny. I'll bet Joe. Yeah, Joe also hasn't come here. I would love for Joe to come here. I would love for, uh, I would love for, Oni Pixel to come here. Who else needs to come here? Chad, who else should come here? Joe and Oni Pixel need to go. Joe and I, I love, like, oh my god. I love that guy. Okay, so Kaseo doesn't do planes, but I think this is drivable from Arkansas, right? Isn't Arkansas and Texas kind of close? It's like right at the level of Texas. Yeah, he doesn't do planes, but I'm sure he would come. Yeah, he'd go crazy. Oh, I'm sick. Have you got Vanilla Mace here? She had not been here, but I don't think she does planes either. That's the issue, and she's not far. Yeah, I don't like planes either. KDB was here. KDB was? Uh-huh. So you've had probably over like 100 people here, you think? Like just... Not over, but we're approaching 100. That is insane. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to figure out who the 100th collab is going to be. You should get Joe. I'm sure he would come. Yeah, we've talked about it. I think he does want to come. All right. Here. OK. How are you feeling? Really good. Good? This has been like 10 out of 10 fun, honestly. I thought that was an all raised to sick. Thank you guys so much. Really sick. That's amazing. OK. How do they donate if they want to donate? So we have Twitch charity running. There's a button for it. So any donations that you make will go straight to all this. Thanks, Ray. Thank you guys so much. That's awesome. All right. OK. We're going to go see the biggest animals that we have here. OK. I'm excited. All right. Great. Last roll. Chandler, are you good? You got water? OK. Let's do it. Okay. Chad, let's go see some bigger animals, shall we? What does de-gloves mean? It's just a way of saying like, you're about to die. Oh. It's like a joke though. It's just an old speed emote. It's speed? Yeah, it's just, I think he's playing like fears the fathom. And he's like about to get killed and he just makes like a weird face. And then it turned into the de-gloved emote. But I don't know when de-gloves happen. This is a crazy view by the way. I don't know if you can show that, but... Hill Country, Texas! That is a crazy view, honestly. Yee-haw! What do you guys think? I love it out here, dude. I'm not gonna lie, I've been to... I went to Houston, I went to Dallas, and I just went to Austin yesterday. Yeah? I think Austin is like one of my favorite cities I've ever been to. It's just really nice. It's just sick. It's so sick, I love it here. And thank goodness, because it's really hard to pick this up and move it, you know? Exactly. This is one of those things where you find a good spot and then you just build it for like decades. Yeah. I can't really move it around too much. La piece. There's a lot of peace. Is that your life, you know? La piece? Oh. Did you show them the view? Yeah. Dude, it is insane. That is a crazy view. Okay. The biggest animals that we have here, guess? Okay. I'm going to guess, like, do you guys have a really big gorilla? No, that'd be cool though. Could a gorilla even live in Texas? Woo! Oh, wow! Alright, I slipped. I'm good. Good recovery! Okay, I almost busted ass there. Oh my god. Oh my god, it's a cow. We're gonna go see the cow. Oh my god. That is gigantic. Does this cow produce milk? She could yeah cows produce milk if they have a baby just like humans. Oh like lactate. Oh, I thought this produced milk 24-7 I don't know they have to have a baby to produce milk So Winnie has not had a baby. She doesn't produce milk Her name is Winnie the Moo. Oh my god. That's such a good play out of words chat name Nice. She's a red Angus beef cow So she was rescued from a beef operation in Oklahoma she was on her way to slaughter for beef and now she lives here. Actually, before we visit Winnie, let's go down to the donkeys before Acero finds out I have treats. Before the horse finds out I have treats. Oh my god. Yeah, we're gonna like flank the donkeys. That looks like the horse from Elden Ring, the all-white one. Wait, I played Elden Ring once. What was, what? Oh no, was that Red Dead? Oh my god. This is jalapeno. Here's a treat for him. He's walking right at me. So if you want to put your hand out, just hold your hand flat. He's kind of lippy, so it'll feel like he's grabbing your whole hand, but he just, yeah. That was actually pretty chill. Oh my god. Can I pet him? He probably won't let you touch him. Oh. It's kind of like a fin situation, like a fox. You can feed him. Jalapeno. That's nice. It's huge. And then on your sixth chat, that's Serana. I'm going to pet him. I'm going to pet him. I'm going to pet him. I'm going to pet him. I'm going to pet him. I'm going to pet him. You can feed him. Harpino. That's nice. It's huge. And then on your sixth chat, that's Sauron. Good call out my... He doesn't live in there. Okay, it looks like he's in a cage. It's an open game. He just is choosing to be in here right now and it looks kind of bad on cam. There's a donkey from Shrek. He does. He gets Sauron. Oh yeah, there's an open Sauron. What's his name again? Surround? Oh. Surround me on jalapeno, Dito. Nice donkeys. They're so cute. When the horse finds out I have these treats we're all done for. What are these treats? They're kind of like molasses and oat. You could eat it if you want. Let me give him a jalapeno. I think he's hungrier than me. Wait, so these aren't horses? No, these are donkeys. The two of them are donkeys. They were rescued. They were also on their way to slaughter in Central Texas. Hide, bud. Wow. What kind of slaughtered donkeys for what? Four variety of things. For glue, for pet kibble, and also for traditional medicine. Um, so they'll boil, yeah, they'll boil donkey hides to make a gelatin called Ixiao in traditional Chinese medicine. They use it, because they think that it helps with a lot of things like anemia and reproductive issues and insomnia. Um, none of those things are proven, um, but the demand for it is very high nonetheless, so, yeah, donkeys. Would you like to meet Winnie the Moo? Yes. Okay. Yes. When, oh god, we're also gonna meet the horse inevitably. Oh my god. He, he's not really a part of the program chat. This is Ace. This is my horse. I've just had him since I was 12. You're a horse? Yes. Ace. That's a, I think, Luffy's brother's name. Really? Yep. I've had him. Can I have Adam? Yeah, you can pet him. He's, he's chill. I've had him since I was 12. He just lives here because I live here, but he's not like a part of the tour. he's so tall yeah he's a chronic in the way all the time God he's huge I love when they walk they just make that all right and this is Winnie the Moo oh my god she's huge Hello! She's so pretty. You can pet her too. She's a cow. She's very nice. Dude! I've never been this close to a cow either, Maya. She's cool. This is Winnie. How old is she? Winnie was born in 2022. So she's just a few years old, but she is full grown here. Hi, Miss. You want to come over up here? Big eyes. Really big eyes. Really big eyes. She's pretty cute. A little haircut? A little haircut. So she... Brother. So she came from a beef operation in Oklahoma. So she was... So, she was on her way to slaughter four beef, dude. Hey buddy, he's not really camera shy or people shy. No, he's not. He's not in the settings. Yeah, he does like you though. He doesn't need to hug him right now. Yeah, you can hug him around the neck. Oh, okay. It's Kellen for his mom, I think. Go away dude, go away. Oh my gosh, I'm trying to teach people things. Okay, Winnie the Moo. You can also hug Winnie if you'd like. Like, yeah, she's very nice. Hey, Winnie. So, for those of you who don't know, the cattle industry has a huge impact on our planet, both in the water use and the land use, and the methane that cows produce as well. Cows will burp and fart a greenhouse gas, find that that happens naturally. But we have so many cows on the planet to meet the global demand for beef, they're taking up so much land and we're using so much water and there's so many emissions that come out of that industry that it's affecting our planet. So if you don't know where to start but you want to do something to help the planet, one place to start is by eating less beef if you can. Oh my gosh! Okay, he's usually not this bad. Like he is annoying but he's not usually this annoying. Anyway, what do you think of what he's like? She's so pretty and her eyes are huge. Her eyes are huge. Wow, look at her eyelashes. And I think Ace likes his mom a lot. She's pretty wholesome. Alright, buddy. Hi. Hello. Yeah. Okay. I think Winnie might be my new favorite. I'm not even kidding. Yeah, she's pretty sick. Oh my god, dude. Guys, I'm 28 and I've had this horse since I was 12. What? I've been doing this since I was 12 years old. Wait, your ace is 16? Or no? He is 25. He was... Oh, you got him when he was nine or eight? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me see if I can get him. What's the average lifespan of a horse? My dream is that he whips to be like 32. But he's old. Like, he's an older horse. Yep. And his hairlines are seeding. Yeah, I was going to say he looks a little older. And he has little gray hairs. Yeah. Hey buddy. Don't zoom in on his hairline like that. What the hell? All right, you want to meet some birds? Yes. Okay, let's go see some birds. Good bye Winnie the Moo. Yeah I think Winnie is my favorite. She says it. She's so cute she didn't even move. She's out there. She does have plenty of food. Yeah he's fine. I've also never, I don't think I've ever been that close to a horse either to be honest. Wow dude you're really like collecting life experience today. Yeah I mainly just chill out in my room honestly. So this has been cool. like so many animals I've never even been within 30 feet of. That's awesome. It was so sick. I truly cannot believe it here. It's so sick. I feel like a lot of streamers tell me, they're like, yeah, come to the sanctuary, I'd love to. And we did that at Streamer Games, I was like, yeah. Like, that'd be sick. But he actually is here, which is so sick. Yeah, I think like a year ago, you texted me about it, and then I kind of just forgot about it, and then you asked me about it at Streamer Games. I was like may as well just pick a day and do it But it's been like some of the most fun I've ever had streaming that's for sure Oh god really? It doesn't even feel like I'm streaming. Yeah. Thank you dude. It feels like I'm at like a not really a zoo, but I don't know just like the place I've never been at It is like being in a zoo. You're getting a like a private tour Okay, we're going in the Parrot Aviary now. So we've got three Parrots in here Two Macaws and an African Grey Hi, Mia! Good afternoon. Hi! Oh my god, it's a pilot. Wait, he just said hi. Yeah, she did. He can talk? Yeah. Like a potion? Uh-huh. Does he remember, like, a lot of stuff? Yeah, he knows lots of words. Hey, Mia! Hi. Hi. Hi, Miss. Oh, he didn't say anything to me. Or is it a she? She. Hi. Oh, it's not working. Mia? Don't come over. I miss. Here she comes. So this is Mia. Mia is a Congo African grey. This is the largest species of parrot in Africa. Really? You want to come over here? Or you want to stay? Okay, I guess you can stay there. She's kind of awkward. Hi! Yellow eyes. Yeah, she does have yellow eyes and she has a red tail too, which is kind of fun. She can say lots of words, she can mimic lots of sounds, she does really good mechanical noises like backup beepers. Did somebody scream in here? So that's, sorry guys, that's Tico and Miley, those are the Macaws. Macaws are incredibly loud. They can scream at over 130 decibels, which is very loud. Parrots, probably unsurprising to you guys. A lot of people think that they want parrots as pets. Then they don't realize how loud that inside of a room is fucked, dude. It hurts. And then in addition to that, they can bite really hard. They can be super destructive. It's not something that you want in your house. Could you teach it to say Bob right? Uh, over, over time, yeah, like she could learn anything. Really? How do you teach them? It's, they like, they choose things that they want to repeat, and if they hear it often enough, and if it's said often in an enthusiastic way, they'll pick up on it. Sometimes she likes a little dance. You want the movie on? Do you want to do a little? Mm-hmm. No? She's just chilling. Just chilling. Do you want a snack? She did say hi to you, though. Like when you said hi, she said hi. Yeah, when we were walking in, she said hi to us here. Yeah, I was like cute. Oh, she got almond. Oh my god. Yum, Mia. Judd, he can say, you can say anything. Parrots don't repeat things back immediately. It's like they learn things over time. All right. Yeah, so if you, we could, I mean. And I was gonna say that to her every day for a month. She probably, yeah. So we could like play your clips in here or something. maybe she could. No, you don't have to brain rot the pair out. So that's Mia. She's beautiful. And then in here, we have Tico and Miley. So you'll just kind of stay along this wall. These are the macaws. Hi, macaws. Large parrots. Tico is a blue and gold macaw. Miley is a Catalina macaw. These guys have really, really big beaks. They can bite really hard, they can scream really loud, and they don't make the best pets, and a lot of people think that they want them as pets and it doesn't work out. There's also a lot of money to be made, unfortunately, still in poaching them for the pet trade, so the thing I was talking about, the snake. Parrots, taxonomically, are the most common species traded within the exotic wildlife trade. Really, most common? Birds, yeah. are captured out of the wild a lot and sold into the pet trade. Their beaks are like, oh, their beaks are like scaring me, they're sharp. They're super sharp, yeah. Tico was dropped off in a box outside of a humane society. Go Tico, go Tico, little dancer, go Tico, that's nice. Oh my god, you can actually dance. Yeah, she's a good dancer. And then Miley was somebody's pet as well. These two are female and they're pair bonded, so these are resident lesbians as well. Really? Do they kiss each other? Oh yeah. Oh, that's cute. Yeah, it's nice. Yeah? This is a... try to break that. Show you how strong their beaks are. Nah. Yeah. Should I put it in? Nah, I'll do it. Yeah, I don't want to. Here you go. Here you go. Oh my god. Whoa. Is he gonna break... oh! He... what? Yeah, they got really strong deeks. Holy crap. Hi. Hi again. This is like for shot reference. Super thick, super, like, you know. It's crazy, they're so strong. They're very pretty too, like the colors are so nice. Pretty special animals. Yeah. Orange and blue and green on the top. They both have green on the top a little bit. Isn't it crazy that like, like this species is one that just exists. They're just like flying around the Amazon rainforest. Yeah. Isn't that wild? That's insane. Nature's so cool. So, with Parrots, they can also live 70 to 80 years, so it's another thing, like people... I did not know that. You really gotta think about Parrots as pets, and if that's something you can commit to, and you're willing to commit to. I'm gonna try to say hi to her again. Is her name Mia? Mia. Hi! Do you have your phone on you? Yeah, but it's not... Sometimes she dances to songs. Wait, like, what song should I play? whatever you think she would vibe to. We'll be in control. Um... What about like black eyed peas? Sure. Yeah. We can give it a shot. Sometimes she dances, sometimes she stares at you like you're an idiot. You gotta hold your phone like way up there. It's loading. I'm gonna play this one. This is classic. Oh! Get ready. Yeah. Let's see. Still loading. Oh! We're kind of out here, Chad. Still loading. Oh Wait for the drop So we wait for the I got a feeling and see if she reacts Oh my god! Okay, that is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Good job, Mia! So nice! That might be her first time hearing Black Eyed Bees. Maybe. Thank you very much. Would you like another snack for the dancing? For your troubles, my lady? Thank you. Alright. So do they just eat nuts? They get... That's us, if she's got any. That's water, whoops. They get pellets that are formulated for parents specifically. They get produce as well, and then they get nuts. Cool. Yeah. That was pretty cool. I'm not going to lie. Yeah, I'm cute. I didn't think you guys were going to dance to the song. A little dance party. Sick. I can't hit the door probably. Thanks. Is it just like a pole? Can't figure out the door. Wow, nice. Thanks. Appreciate that. What is a what is pardon? I keep saying pardon. Pardon. It's just an emote where like It's just saying like pardon like to repeat yourself. Oh, can we say anything like that sounded? Oh, it's like a like pause you said does she only eat nuts? Okay, okay, so it's like pause. Yes, it's like that. Is it the Angry Birds ear? Yes, it's the Angry Birds called Pardon? It's actually a new emote. Yeah, I have not heard that one. I love A-Ritz. That was the first game I played ever. Really? In my whole life. Yeah, I use my dad's phone. I don't know. Alright, that's our last enclosure. Yeah, the chickens are up right now. We do have chickens as well, but... They're not in there right now. Cool! Okay, now that you've seen all the animals, who is your favorite animal? Mia dancing was pretty memorable. I kind of like ace a lot because he goes sort of stream bombing. But probably Minnie, I think. Or Minnie the Pooh? Winnie the Mooh! The cow, yes! Sorry, Winnie the Mooh. I'm sick. Okay, love it. But I don't know, like, Pushpop was really sweet. The emu let me hugged Stompy. I don't know, maybe Stompy? I don't really know, they're all great. You did really good. The only one I actually have a little bit of beef with was Appa. Yeah, first. Because he actually did, I know he wanted to beat my ass, I could tell. For being as nerve, Adele. Adele? Did you just say Adele? I said Appa. He wanted to beat your ass like what? Oh, I could tell. Oh, I thought you said you wanted to beat my ass like Adele. I was like, wait, what did Adele do? I missed it. Okay. You did great for being as nervous as you were at the beginning. Okay. Like you were super chill around all the animals. Like you had good energy in there. I appreciate it also. Like, nobody's ever been a problem here. So I don't know why I have this fear. But sometimes when like the young male streamers have the explosive clips come here. Yeah. I'm like oh god like I got a random minute like I gotta watch out for my animals and they're gonna like scream and be crazy. Yeah like they're gonna walk up to like a frog and yell and it's me. Yeah. Yeah I would not. And then every time you guys are so great like you were so respectful and you listened so well and I really appreciate that. Yes of course. This was so fun. Thanks for the tour I had fun. Of course we're gonna go back into the studio you can go this way and chat you too like sometimes I get kind of nervous about chats because I'm like oh my god like this is not my demo like I don't know anything about games I'm not a young man but you guys were really cool today too and I really appreciate that so thank you so much It is, the cool special thing about Alveas in my eyes is that there are a lot of facilities that do really awesome conservation work that people visit if they're interested in animals or interested in conservation, right? But what Alveas is able to do is bring people out here who otherwise probably wouldn't be getting this information, like TXC and like you guys, and teaching you a bunch. That's super special to be able to reach people like you. So, thank you for making that possible. Yes. And thank you for your donations today. Yep. So sick. Thank you for freaking coming all the way out here for just this. Am I a one more thing? Yeah. I wanna donate $100,000. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Like actually. You're a liar. No, I swear to God. I think this is like the coolest. I wanted to donate for a while, but I mean, after seeing the tour too, This is like the coolest thing I think any streamer does. Seriously, I think what you do is awesome. Oh yeah, seriously, don't worry about it. Of course. Jasey, what? What? Yep, I didn't know when it was like a good time to do it. I don't know, I figured we're wrapping up. Oh my God, oh my God. No seriously, this has been like Some of the most fun I've ever had streaming. Like it didn't even feel like I was streaming. I felt like I was on like a zoo tour when I was a kid and I just had fun. Like I genuinely had fun. Like I wasn't really worried about the chat that much. It was just a good time. Oh my God. Oh my God. Thank you so much. Yep, of course. Thank you honestly. Whoa. Whoa. Okay. So you, okay. So you saw all of what we're doing. I actually didn't really talk about this on the cloud today. You guys see all of what we're doing here, where we're rescuing animals and teaching people about them. And that's a huge part about this. But the next thing that we're doing is endangered species breeding programs. I don't know if you know about this. We just expanded from 15 acres to 40 acres. And we're going to start breeding endangered wolves here at Albeas for reintroduction back into the wild. So to add on to wild populations, and we want to expand to do a bunch of endangered species breeding programs and so we're currently we've been fundraising to start doing that work that's huge for us here and for for that expansion as well like it's it's real real deal conservation guys that's oh my god that's insane bro yeah I'd like to know I'm just like even a part of some of it is cool because it goes this is a good cause and like I said I think what you do here it's um it's so special in the streaming community like it's I would never do anything like this but I did it you know thank you so much of course yeah thank you see that is crazy thank you guys so much thank you so I don't even know what do you say that wow okay wow thank you so I'm gonna contribute like to the like reading program for re-entry of like wolves? We're, that, that money will go to supporting the work that we're doing here and, and the expansion of, of Alveas, and I'm, I'm so grateful. I don't, that, that kind of money. Alveas has been built on crowdsource fundraising. So we have so many sick viewers that are donating small increments, which is like the coolest thing ever, because you guys have built this place. But yeah, to have people like you that, like, to come in here that have the means to do something like that, is like that would take such a long time to fund it, you know what I mean? Well it's also just like um kind of what you said earlier, sorry to cut you off, but like the fact that it's 100% like donation funded is so cool, like it's just a pure non-profit and what you guys do is awesome, and I can tell like you genuinely love animals like more than anything in in the world. So it's cool. Wow. Wow. Wow. Okay. Thank you so much. Holy shit. Of course. Thank you. Seriously. Wow. Okay. Okay. Guys. That's the tour. Yep. Thank you to everybody who tuned in. I learned a lot. I'm sure a lot of my chat learned a lot. And my chat probably already knew a lot of it but thank you. Educational, legendary experience. I had fun and I would say Joe needs to come and Onapixle needs to come. Yeah. For sure. This in the next year for sure. I'm sorry for shooting here with a water gun. No. Oh that's what I was gonna tell you. The part I was most scared wasn't even meeting the animals. It was when I was blind. Yeah for sure. I was just genuinely terrified. That's so fair. That's so fair. Now I feel bad though. Are you right? No, you're not. OK. All right, guys, you can find me and the Alvaeus Animals on the Alvaeus Sanctuary channel, literally 24-7. I would love to see you guys in chat over there. Thank you so much. I hope you learned today. I really appreciate you all being here. Thanks, you guys, you so much for coming all the way out here. To Maya, Maya's chat, my chat. I've already had a good time. And yeah, just keep killing it. Keep doing what you're doing, it's so cool to watch. Thank you guys so much. Peace out. Thank you. Goodbye!
