I hope you enjoyed it. See you next time. Bye. I can hear you over the top here. Hello and welcome everybody to the America's Cup Day 2. You see them right there? We got C9 in the loser's bracket, Kobe. All right, Nick Smith. Step it up, baby. Come on. Let's go lock in. We got to lock in right now, because backs are against the wall. A best of five lost means that we're going home. We got red cannons Colungna ahead of us who already have a bit of history beating and a team is if you look at LTA and the schedule from last year so definitely not a team to sleep on their a team that is scary and also very powerful we saw in the early game against Sentinels they were able to get the lead in game number one and I think expectation here based on how C9 looked is that early game is going to be a problem. a problem. Yeah, that was one of the biggest issues for C9 in their first game was the early game where bottom lane, they got their flash blown just kind of like walking up in lane and then immediately got ganked by curse died and then mid lane also fiasco and there's his fires everywhere. We interviewed Blabber after that game and he was like, yeah, I I mean, it was quickly unplayable for us. And so Claude and I are going to have to bounce back to that. They all gave all of the pre-reasons, excuses as to why C9s and pre-reasons. But we do know that once I put this shirt on that I'm wearing currently, Sentals won. So I'm going to wear this shirt until an NA team loses. Apologies if it gets smelly. Maybe we can wash it at some point here. But here's the bracket reminder that we had two 2-0s yesterday. CBL team and an LCS team won, which means that we still get ZB Lull and LCS as a bonus today. I think we're doing it. Yeah. We want more cross region play. So there we go. We're going to get it right off the rip here. This is going to be, again, you talked about the early game. I am a little bit scared about the early game, especially because Red, their kind of downfall was, I guess, the warding and not sweeping out ward spots because who he had some really good, like ward spots ahead of time, they were able to catch out curse. And so maybe if curse is just more on it with his sweeper and, because you know, this red team could be super, super active early game and snowball early. So, I just got to be ready. They got to win where they're going to be. That's an important part. That's how Sentles were able to do. I think we'll get a predictions though because we actually did put them in here. And I'm curious what your strat was for this one. Cause I was really scared. You're the C9 guy still. What I'm saying with Cloud9, what are you? You're collapsing? You're giving it? Toby, I don't know if you've noticed this. I don't know if anybody at home has been keeping track of this. But my prediction rate is terrible. I'm like, self-50% prediction rate on the show. So it's a blessing. Anytime I predict the other team. So I'm trying to do a little bit of power seeing. You did power rank Shopify number one. I did power rank. And they did not win a game. Yeah. So if I say. They were the first team eliminated. That's last. If I say red cannons are going to win, everyone at home should be celebrating that. because I'm notoriously wrong all the time. Does your power work if you do it intentionally, though? That is, this is the test, this is the test case. We're gonna learn today. Yeah, what's in your real heart? What do you really believe though? Do you really? I mean, I really believe, see, I can take it. They get an extra day of rest, but you know. Suspicious. The concern that I have though is how they lost, and it was just getting destroyed in the early game, like we talked about. It was concerning. Red were good in the early game versus Sentinels as well, at least in that game one. Here's the roster for C9. Hopefully a little less jet lagged as, you know, the story yesterday was it had like 25 to 30 hours, you know, since the landing to actually get prepared and, you know, get ready for this event. Not a lot of scrim time, not a lot of practice. Whereas the home team here at Red Candidts, Kalunga, they were looking, you know, intimidating. Stronger in the early game for sure. You know, game number one actually thought they were going to win over Sentinels, but it was those back-to-back picks onto Curse. And so really, and I think there's going to be a lot of, you know, focus on him, a lot of review for him. If he doesn't get picked off there, like those are, those are critical comeback moments in game number one. And then Sentinels were able to use that momentum into game number two, which was a lot smoother from them, you know, and, and quite well controlled. So, uh, you know, they, uh, they definitely earned their spot moving up. But, uh, for red, some things to consider from yesterday, you know, some things to consider for both teams. Yeah. Uh, also something to consider. This is High Stakes for Cloud9. It's APA's birthday today. Happy birthday, APA. Just turned 24. Is that a buff to play on your birthday, Kobe? You're the only pro player on this couch. So I have casted on my birthday a whole bunch, and it always goes well. So I think it's a buff. But we've got an interview, a new interview, with Blabber ready. Let's listen. I think that we need to work on our early games. Like, we need to improve that for the next series. I think that this series and our finals, we had really bad early games. I think we got too far behind from things that were usually avoidable. And I think that's the biggest fix that we should look into. I think we have other problems with our game, but I think that that is putting us out of disadvantage. And for today's match, I think that game one was really hard after we made the early mistakes. And I think for game two, I think we easily could have won. But I think they play better than us in the team fights. And yeah, I think they play better than us later in the game. Today's game against Sentinels was very difficult. I think after the first game that was in our hands, we didn't get to fight well. I think the third one was Drake. Basically, in the first two Drakes, we exchanged a lot of Drake for the advantages for Gold and then when we needed to fight to guarantee the next Drake with the Gold we got, we didn't execute very well and we lost a game that we practically won. and that was a bit difficult. In the second game, I think we made a wrong reading, according to the picks that were open. I think it was a very difficult game in the real game, and we didn't survive very well, so they managed to take advantage of the advantage they created, and that was basically it. Against Cloud9, I think it's going to be a very difficult Md5, they are players, a lot of veterans, so we are players with a lot of power, But I think both teams are very similar. They were teams that were involved in their championships, lost the finals and are trying to find and solve these problems. So I think it's going to be a difficult series, but it will help us win. decisions made. They kind of threw it at that second crab with the Taliyah wall coming down level five level six. Yeah. I mean, he looked like he had just been scolded like a, at school or something. Right. So he's, he was, he was definitely rightfully. So I think not in a very good mood. So does kind of make sense. And yeah, like their early game were just these errors that were obvious blunders. And so it doesn't really, there's not a lot to review there. You know, it's like, Oh, maybe we, yeah, obviously don't blow flash and then get killed in bottom lane and then, you know, go die for a crab that makes the game really hard. And then I think the second thing he said was, uh, was also very correct where they were just getting outplayed in these teamfights. So, um, yeah, I mean, it was accurate for both for both. I liked the FMB's interview as well and talking about how, yeah, both these organizations are not feeling great right now because they're in very similar situations and it's kind of mirrored where they're having success and then struggling in finals and then struggling here as well. And so if you have these kind of like back to back struggles, then it can definitely start to weigh on you and, you know, F and B as well was, you know, clearly identifying the mistakes that they made, which were, I think, easily addressed or should be easily addressed now. I like that you highlight the fact that they are similar stories because they did both lose in the finals. And when I was talking to some of the English casters for CB Loll, they had mentioned that, yeah, I mean, Red Candidates work out of the favorites to go to first stand. There was a lot of excitement around this team with how aggressive they were playing in the early game, that titular CB Loll style, and then getting three owed in their finals by a Loll, even more disappointing end for them. So again, it's gonna be a close series. I actually think it will go five games. We both had to go in five games, maybe a little bit of reverse cursing on my end, But I think that the big hurdle that C9 is going to have to overcome is not getting too far behind in the early game, which is going to be red strength. And then obviously the team fighting as well, I think that a lot of that I chocked up to just getting accustomed to the time change and all the travel that they had. I think C9 can team fight better than what they showed us yesterday. If you look at- All right, that's good. I like that we addressed it. No more excuses now. You know what, it's all good. How did they arrest everybody locking? I think the biggest challenge for us is like, We were having a lot of fun yesterday joking around, but this is really serious. Like this is a sobering interviews where, yeah, both these teams have been having struggles. And so really, really want these wins for both of them. Time to lock in. And it's time for us to lock in as well. Let's get the day ready to go. It's gonna be a fun one. Let's go. I think that we need to work on our early games, we had really bad early games, I think we got too far behind from things that were easily avoidable. They are trying to find a solution to these problems. The stage is set for the lower bracket in the America's Cup. Best of fives for the rest of the week. as C9 will take on Red Canid's Kalunga. Winner will continue. Loser goes home. And very shortly, we'll get to meet our competitors here on stage. C9, the visiting team, the hope of North America, favorites going into their playoffs and struggling in their finals. Take on the hometown of Red Canid's Kalunga. I wasn't sure if you were going to mention it, Gobi, he's been almost walked on the wrong side there. Well, I was going to say, I was going to get this, we also have another hope, you know, Cessna Rose is looking to stronger hope to win with their win, also. Oh, that's a good point there. The Conrad Arms! I hope it's a series for sure. As the competitors, we'll get into their chairs now. I like the fist bump from Blabber, you know? Yeah, okay. Nice Blabber curse. The interviews from the post game yesterday that we saw at the beginning day, I was like, oh my god, I got to set up, I got to be serious here, like they were looking so sad, but now, look at that, they're singing, they're laughing, everybody's smiling, both teams seem way, way happier now after a night of sleep, look at that, we're getting smiles all over the place. Okay, the vibes are bad, baby. Obviously, they were definitely bad vibes, low energy yesterday after the series, because both of them lost. And today we are in the loser's bracket, so this is a must-win scenario for both of these teams. But after an extra night's rest, it looks like everybody's locked in. Everybody's looking for a fun best of five. And we'll see if we can we can go the distance here They've got more time to really analyze your opponent over the course of the series Work it out through fearless drafts here and see if you can manage some advantages towards the end Will we get C9 singing happy birthday to APA? That's not my bingo card I think if they win they win there's a good chance we can get them to do it in like a post game interview You think there's a good chance to get these players to sing? No, actually we did try and do that for Vulcan last year and it didn't work out. Game for a place to sing is like mega hard. I'm really confident in my abilities to influence the players. Especially over remote interview, you're gonna try and be like, Hey, can you guys sing for us? How about we just do it? We gotta be the extra. We got you, FBA. We got you. Win or lose, I got you. you. Oh, okay. Win or lose. I'm gonna say it's birthday. True. Either way, they take it away as a birthday if they lose. He did tweet out already. He said, first time traveling for my birthday. So it's fun that he's got the experience in New City while he's out there. Let's hope that it is not a short vacation. Yeah, I get a couple more days in there. I get to stay. All right, picking van under way for game number one. A reminder for everybody, if you're just joining us, we have best of fives for the rest of the week and only one series per day. So that's the fight fearless always gets more exciting for me as the games go on But early on it is just the pantheon locked in here for C9 You know, I actually respect the Akali band because that's what I remember about last year the most two from God's day He's been playing a lot more of the other like normal Meta stuff, but I still remember last year also, you know terrified of Of his a colleague he absolutely popped off on really any of it's like melee champion Silas was up there Also, I remember being scared of that. Yeah, like this this play Yeah, he's got the more rise until the action and both of those are up at the moment So they're gonna grab the nocturne even with Orianna banned I still think nocturne is so underutilized just in these full engaged comps where you can get a Niko Or some other support that's really really pairs well as far as using that fog of war And you do have, with the Taliyah angle that we were mentioning, have really big possibilities for making picks. Nocturne and Taliyah obviously can stick with Pantheon as far as these semi-globals and stuff. And so both teams are grabbing up the mobility really early on. Game number one of Fearless. We're getting all the tier one picks out of the way. Both sides, I think, will be quite happy with the opener. opener and FNB had mentioned in his interview that they kind of lost track of some of the draft I was something as they pointed out yesterday in their match against sentinels was they left off the vi to lea And so panthentally also a similar combo. So I like the to leak as it pairs with nocturne to get around the map But also denies that combination from c9. So I'm already seeing I think an adaptation from red cannons in their draft Keeping track of some of these power picks together as they lock in scion the counter into the renekted. Yeah, and that's always a good not necessarily a counter but it's a good like I don't care if you're renec-tive because I'm gonna scale right and I'm gonna stack up HP and you better get a lot of CS over me or some turret plates because if not I am gonna provide a huge amount of value in the team fights as well as science ultimate really really good tool obviously for making rotations over to dragons it's It's just always so effective when you can ult down to a teamfight and then teleport back to your lane afterwards or something like that. You can often get really good side wave control, even though you're not some sort of big bully here. It's almost a third semi-global ultimate if you really think about it with the Taliyah ult, the Nocturne ult. All three of these can get around quite fast to the objectives as we're at the second stage of bands, all focused on the bot lane, because neither of these teams have locked in their bot lanes. Are you seeing an indication of what either one would try and prioritize? Um, I mean everything is still up right now and since the Varus is banned out for Rebello he really does like Unara. So I don't see Unara on this ban list here and if you've got a scion it feels really good for Unara to team fight behind. So that's what I'd be leaning towards unless they're looking at some sort of specific scary lane but that's why they banned out both the Karma and the Nami here. There you go. There's you and I. Good catch here from Cloud9 because I think that's definitely what they would have gone for. I love these player POV shots that we're getting. This was happening yesterday as well. We get to see the bands before we even get in on the graphic there as now we get to see what happened. A couple extra seconds. A couple extra seconds. The audience knows. Genius. Think of the boss. Oh, there's the Niko. I'm sorry about the nocturne though. I love this pairing. It's just how do you ever keep track of Niko? You know, you're turning off the lights. She turns into Minion, she's, you know, not gonna show on the mini map when she's getting into some weird position and then Nocturne ults and turns out the lights and all of a sudden there's a Niko in the middle of your team. Pop loss and much easier to land if they don't see it coming, I hear. Oh, yeah, yeah. And you usually don't because she also goes invisible and comes out of brushes for weird angles and so, now you definitely won't. Just a nightmare to deal with and it also sets up potential kill threats in the bottom lane because if you pair an aggressive AD carry with it, Niko can do a lot of, you know, upfront burst damage. Corki and Bard locked in meanwhile for his Ben and Vulcan. Nice, strong lane. Sven has really preferred the Corki. Bard, to me, maybe they can, like, stuff some of these engages. You can use it defensively. Vulcan definitely is a experienced Bard player and really prefers the champion. So we'll see if it helps them out and their attempts for some of the side lane play later. You know, you've got Bard, Ryze, and Pantheon, so a lot of options for playing the side lanes, trying to earn some of their spell advantages there, maybe before you have to go into a full front to back with a scion on the enemy squad. Yeah, and like the front to back, I'm not seen as a super strong strength off the C9 composition right now. Normally when I look at like this, I have a comp from Red. I'm like, that's kind of low damage, but there's no true frontline tank for C9 that's going to be able to absorb all of that outside of, you know, Renekton and Ryze can get a little beefier. You got the, you got the directional immunity and Renekton, like the bruiser build for Renekton can actually survive quite a long time. So yeah, we'll see. I feel like red, they're going to rely a lot on some of these picks and these really explosive plays. Nocturne, Nico, uh, Taliyah, like seismic shoves somebody back here out of the Nika ultimate and big burst damage and utility from the bottom lane. So much to see in their bottom lane. So it makes it really easy for Cursed. I would say 99% chance he's going to clear top to bottom and so look to dry and pressure mid lane and bottom lane and you always just ignore the scion lane, let him farm against the Renekton. Yeah, okay. Maybe Renekton gets like 15 CS lead or something and you don't really care. That's the ideal situation if not knock her into this repeat these full clears from top down to bottom and help out Maybe you find some plays around bottom around that chin. They go science still gonna be a brick house regardless of how much the S You get it's like affordable housing, you know, it's just like doesn't matter Sometimes I mean it's this Thanatos. We're talking about here Thanatos for necked in this is his favorite pick one of his favorite picks and he absolutely destroy people on it so maybe Thanatos can up those numbers because this put those up. If he's taken multiple turret plates and like a 20-25 CS lead then the bruiser redacted build is a tank and is a damage threat and you know melts everybody around him with the ult. All C9 take to the rift opposite red canids kalunga and an elimination at best of five. Thanatos has looked strong for C9, even in their two losses yesterday, he was the one that was kind of maintaining at least an even state in the lane. So I like your highlighting how good he has looked, not just at this event in Brazil, but also just throughout the split. Put that on. Happy birthday, ABA. Look at that. Yeah. Can I get it on top of the thing, the headset? Yeah, it kind of works. This town is wearing a hat though, because I took the hat off yesterday. Yeah, because we can still tell your ball. Okay, good. You're not hiding. This is like like when you have the beanie on, like it's just barely hanging on the top. Yeah, we know what you are. All right, so landing face has begun. You had expected curse to be pathing top to bot. That is what's gonna happen. Flabber as well. Do you think that there's any world that the Nocturne tries to contest for that bottom scuttle, or is it like the type of thing where you just pat down and then go and take the top? Oh yeah, I think for sure they can. I mean, Jin Nico can push really early on and get a lot of poke damage down. So they did definitely gain. It's going to depend on bot lane and mid lane. Yeah, see, they're doing it already really nicely. I will say my preference, if I am pantheon, it doesn't cost you a lot of time to go for a mid lane gank level three. When you're, I think this is not done enough. When you clear the first three camps on your top side, if you pass through mid lane and like blow the flash or something up to Leia, then it can be like, Only cost you a few seconds, and then you traverse over the other side of your map anyway But there are wards in the river so cloud nine not going to go for something like that this time around Obviously the early level trinket wards are what kind of suss out those those Low occurrence plays. I don't like to use the word cheese I'm so I'm trying to come up with other stuff low occurrence place. They're low occurrence Uh, high... High impact, you know? Yeah, high impact and high risk. Usually people say cheese because it's high risk. Okay. But it can have high impact. But sometimes there are plays that people don't go for a lot. That can be high impact, but not super high risk. You know, now that you say that... And those just seem good. I don't even know. Where did the term cheese come from? Why do we call it a cheese play? Like, is there a lore behind that? Why would cheese and dairy products to determine... What's a milk play at that point? I'm gonna say that's a good question and use the research that... So many possibilities right now. Curse will get the bottom scuttle uncontested. The blibber's actually not even gonna look at it. Why is it called cheese? Why is cheese like a sketchy thing that's like super risky and people look down upon? I know Raz is in Twitch chat but he's not an expert on Dairy. He'll have an answer. He will have an answer. probably forgot his lactate as well, knowing him. Yeah, he doesn't have a great relationship with cheese. Very poor relationship. Yeah, that's too bad. It's an abusive relationship, to say the least. He loves it. He can't handle him. OK, this bottom lane, though, they get the barrier out for the heal. Pretty even on summoner spell trade. It does mean, like, you were kind of looking for, oh, are they going to fight Skodalcrab or trade them? Nocturne, because the bottom lane was pushing, ended up getting, yes, the bottom one. And so Blabber did have to go trade and grab the top one. So Nocturne is going to be slightly earlier to the second clear. It's only a couple of seconds, but we'll see if there's any sort of timing window for him to do anything with, because he's already finished up on Krugs and Blabber just started his gromp, but, you know, it's, this is all building up towards our favorite moment in every cloud nine game which is a six minutes scuttle crab so it's also funny because people sometimes get confused they're like wait the second scuttle crab there's two at the beginning that's true yeah fair but it's the second spawn because the first two spawn at the same time so you can say second you can say third people are not confused if you say six minutes or level six okay I like that predictions you think it's gonna top or bottom because it Also, there is APA flashes of seismic shoved back into the underrapelled earth, so a flash follow from Curse will get the fear, but the bar portal from Vulcan will save his mid laner's life. Holy moly, uh... So APA was like, I gotta get off this seismic shove and my mouse is over here. That was crazy. So I'm flashing it. I'm flashing it this way. It's okay, Vulcan was there with the tunnel. It does mean though, that you have no say in this dragon. Yeah. You just got chased off of Summoner's Rift with your tail between your legs And so that's gonna be the dragon and it's kind of deflates our like our six-minute talk unless blabber No, ain't no way I mean could you imagine that would be crazy But it does kind of deflated a bit because now the knock turn also has the dragon experience Yeah, and it should be at six first FNB getting pushed up by Thanatos You use the Dominus to trade aggressively already bramble vest on scion means that it's so hard to kill him It's enough armor, and then also you're just preventing any of that life steal so Hard for Thanatars to get anything done there, but yet to your point Kobe I mean now we expect to see the level six nocturne for the scuttle crab if it's gonna be contested But as I say that Lever's on it, and we actually have curse backing still level five on the noxious We he's not going to contest for that. Yeah Lever already at his center exactly we give up the dragon, but we get the bigger prize We know it's smaller It's theoretically bigger in our hearts Kobe. Yeah, it's not the size of the neutral objective. Yeah, it's how you use it and I was gonna use it to get level six, so Now we can clear the rest of the topside camps now We can grand starfall wherever he would like after and then not to get counter at does he just finish his crugs and so Curse here. I think it's set up in it's kind of dream nocturne scenario. We were talking about Oh, Nocturne just wants to repeat clears over and over top to bottom top to bottom top to bottom And he's done that very efficiently here plus Scott in the dragon. So for red Honestly, this is an amazing opener to the game Having a very smooth pathway here also considering. Well the renekton, you know, then those renekton I think at seven minutes. This is a pretty decent lead for himself We'll continue to track it. It's going to have to continue to improve on it. And it looks like he is probably going to go for the first item, Black Cleaver. It's the biggest individual lead on the Rift right now, but it's not a big lead. It's basically an even game still, but it is funny just to still see red on every side for red cannons. And then the one advantage in gold for C9 is still Thanatos in that top lane. It's about one component worth of gold right now, but maybe he can turn that into more as they self are coming in from Vulcan and the current call on this van, Corky taking a lot of damage, has to flash! Oh, the rocket's so close to killing Frosty, so Vulcan goes for it. Flashes for the angle on the stun on the Ravello. Now the Grand Starfall from Blabber all focused on the AD carry. He's still at Flash up, so he gets away at the seismic shove from Kaze. blood a rat and they'll pick up a double that's why nocturn ultimate is always so good into pantheon you can counter him my star though there is frosty holy juke shoes frosty he goes toe-to-toe and he fights men down to the last auto and then he saves his flash for when Sven flash tries to rocket him frosty here does everything he starts it out he's not scared of the teleport they open of the gym, calmly, he's like, fine, fine, fine, I'll take this. Then, when the barrier flash comes out, he flashes this, and then watch him, even after Pantheon comes, nocturn ultimate turns out the lights. So where did Niko go? You can't find him, and Flabber is forced to go towards Rebello, who then flashes the other way, and then Frosty got another snare out there. So the red bottom lane just absolutely juked and controlled the entire game there. Rebello and Frosty used their flashes so well to get out of this combined with the darkness from Nocturne removing the vision from Cloud 9. Oh, Sven is winning the 1v1 right now, rooted up, one more auto, rocket with a rocket again! Side step and he cannot find the kill, back to back, almost! Sven finding out plays, there's now Curse will come into the bottom lane and Sven does not have a Summoner Spell, does not have a chance of escape, that is three kills to Curse. This has not been a good time for C9, this tournament is not looking good for them. Yeah, you can say that again. I won't though because they know it and everybody already knows it. They don't need to be relented. Yeah, it's a dog pile already. Everybody's in there yapping in their ears so we don't need to repeat it, you know. They know. They know. We got multiple interviews from Vlad. We're talking about it. Yeah, they're They're aware. They got some issues to work on. It's still not an insurmountable lead. It's not on the you know, yeah It's surmountable. It is surmountable. It's still surmountable for sure. Yeah, it's only 1.3k currently. Hey, it's the best of five this time, Dankus. So I like how we're starting to get here early. My like my chest started to get a little tight just because of last Well, it's just yesterday, but the last series, so yeah, it is like, it's kind of traumatizing because the last series was really rough for C9 and it was a 2-0, but it's a best of 5, so they have more time to work through it today, even if this game does go bad. Trying to punish Frosty for following through that portal, but still gets rooted up. Yeah, I mean, the tough thing is that C9 are going to have to find a way to stop the snowball because red this is their comfort they can get these leads to run away with it we saw or heard from fnb that they weren't able to do that in game one against sentinels but they definitely were looking at that game intently and trying to learn from their lessons and they're starting up the second dragon trying to continue to snack and if we remember how sentinels were able to come back in that game one versus red it waited second this dragon fight might be big you nine is actually gonna contest the temperate lands on to the dragon and the jungler's reply for walks in and he steals the dragon that's what we're talking about C9 finding the leash from red and also gonna kill on the way out and have that confidence skank is to do that because dance us here that's those don't watch in on the paranoia from curse he says the only way out is back in as he flashes over the wall follow from data toast the crocodiles chasing them down and will call the week for the kill C9 find a second on the board and every North American viewer now Just breathe the sigh of relief. Yeah, you can I can see the tension. Yeah leaving your body right now Yeah, your shoulders here. There you go. I tweaked the shoulder earlier, too. And I feel fine. I feel healthy Then it's gonna need some more stress relief. Can he size up? Oh the barrier He was there Hey, you know what? It was a good attempt. It's a good attempt. Dude, honestly, it's like a mini-game. Those moments are so fun. Yeah. Literally, everybody's just watching. It's like, oh, it's crazy. It's going to go. It's crazy. It's going to go. Definitely a funny one, maybe. And then everyone's critiquing, like, oh, well, you got to use the Valk to actually dodge a shot, you know? Well, the distance there. But Frosty also wrapping around does mean another kill for Red. So they still have their gold lead. And the dragons are still split one to one. But Cloud9 have been able to get it. you know, back within reasonable distance here after, you know, I'm sure I'm not the only one that was like, scared because of the way that yesterday went and the very opening play or whatever of this game, but yeah, so Blaber and Thanatos, I think, are the two here that really kind of stabilized at 4C9, walking up, getting the dragon, teleport in, get the extra kill, so now it's gonna get interesting, Genghis, now it's gonna get interesting. see about the snowball that you're talking about. Yeah, we actually have another play here in the river as C9 walking aggressively forward. APA has a score behind him and the Grants are full. We got him out of frosty. The Niko will fall in trade for our mid laner as APA will fall. It's been trying to get some damage over the wall, but it's a 1 for 2 in favor of red candidates. APA and Bull can work very far forward in the river there. So yeah, you saw the instant communication for Blabber to ult in on top. Even though APA was like three people deep there basically, but this time the teleport is on the other top laner So FMV showed up and they got the extra kill. I will say your payment though. Nantos got a lot of turret plates I think that was two for him during that period and The teleport for scion down here Did get one extra kill For for that payment so that means the gold is pretty close. It's still a positive play for red but not astronomical, by any means, but the sign at the TV down so he's kind of committed to that lane now and Sven Vulcan have been poking him quite aggressively as Frosty runs up here on the APA they just walked all the way from base and is now in danger of a dive but not going to be executed on right now so you know I have the Labyrinth around the bottom side as well so yeah they're looking at FNB, they're on top of Wandsaw, the Pudger Blarrow! Try the body block it not quite close enough. I Got to imagine Still in reds jungle as now they're trying to insert on top of him Frost and Ravello join up and blabber will go down See nine cannot get their jungler out of there in time Yeah, so gang is it is one thing to misjudge your distance and like You know waste your flash trying to block the side But it's another more painful thing for you to then immediately die after because you don't have said flash Yeah, walk it into the enemy jungler your enemy jungle And yet I meant he's trying to flash to block it save his W for afterwards to keep the lockdown But he you can also flash to W and just guarantee it. Yeah tough It was a 1000 gold lead for red at that point, now it's a 2000 gold lead. So they, and it's so many kills on curse, like look at this. He is the lead right now, essentially for red cannons. This Nocturne is so far ahead of the Pantheon, and he's done a great job of kind of just anywhere Blabber decides to go, curse is there. Yeah, I mean, his ult is permanently up almost with a hex plate. So here, cooldown is so short, like you're saying. You just keep on firing that thing off. Let's see here though, C9, the rise in barge that so often work together to attack side lanes and burn flashes is having a pretty hard time since red four people up by this rip drone. I think that should just be theirs. I'm a very dangerous if they decided to do anything and they are again getting paid in side lane money though. The turret plates into Thanatos. So if you see the mini map, Thanatos takes the whole tower on bottom side and paint it for this drift arrow that Red committed five people to. I read maybe a bit of an overgroup there, you could say. They get the objective. Oh yeah, you for sure could say that. Bottom turret is secured and that is even more gold onto Thanatos. She was matching that gold lead that was in the jungle and it went from 2k to 600 real fast as Vulcan and Sven pushing away red from the approach of this dragon This would be the second one picked up for C9 if they can't secure it So in the Accenture they also get another neutral objective It was the turret and now the dragon traded for that herald rather gonna have to get a lot for that herald Usage here if they want to make it worth. Yeah, definitely a little a bit inefficient. Yeah, I would say as far as the the choice there the call there, but But they wanted Sion to be there to have their front line priority. It's just that, C9, they can definitely invest more into these sidelines. Maybe you say, oh, Red aren't that worried about it because they've got Nocturne to Leia. But by the same token, you can have Bard trail people and Bard ult can delay long enough for the rest of you to get there. And so Pantheon, Ryze, and Bard. If your communication is good enough during Nocturne ultimate, and you can still clearly call out the play and get everybody on the same page, then you could still fight those. It can be really tough to land defensive Bartolt into the nocturne ultimate, but it is possible. But right now Volcan, he might need help of his own team here, he gets out. The portal completes and he gets back to his mid turret, which is still standing, so C9 can get their support out of there. They're rotating Sion over there, are they looking for an ulti, they're going to try and re-kill this. Yeah, I mean, but they're for sure gonna blow up and open this mid tower. Look at cloud nine two side lanes this time around So they're gonna get a couple waves pushed here And then if those does have his teleport ready It's scary for a PA to walk up and hit this turn though. He actually is I'm looking for the noxious It's Leah. They're both on the top side of the map here So APA might have two members on top of him with those ultimates very soon Yeah, he wants that turret, but it's so hard to actually push if everyone's seen mid lane you can go for that But if you don't get there fast, honestly dangerous the the old Strategy as old as time of using like low health turrets as bait It's not as enticing anymore, buddy because of turret plates a lot of the gold's already been mined away So that low health turret that's up there. You're used to thinking. Whoo. That's like five six hundred gold Sorry, buddy. They've got a lot of gold left in it. It's already been taken out in the plates. Oh, it's not as enticing, not as strong of a cheese inside the bait for those attempts at play. But if C9 wanted, they do have multiple members here. It seems like they are still trying to give APA the space to push for that. Oh yeah, they definitely want him to still keep a healthy income on Ryze, because Ryze is critical to their game plan. Meanwhile, Thanatos, again, we always check in on him. He keeps on getting a little bit of extra gold. He's at a very healthy state. This two item power spike for Renekton is one of the best, but can they even bring teammates would be better. Nobody else really gonna fully commit. Bartzana was already used, so I'll just grab that blue buff by I will say. Now we have a paranoia flash to follow up beautiful tempered fate and now cursebinds is up along with into the battle and goes up and B and they got spin. Cos they with a flick back and red with two quick kills on the scene nine they could not get that blue buff and get out of there. One of the other downfalls for cloud nine yesterday that was in game number two game number one obviously the early games they got blasted. Game number two though getting picked off in sidelanes by furia over and over again furia did a very good job of packing sidelanes and red as well nice little rotation from them I love the early flash on to Sven from curse there and surely he can get the fear even with the attempted disengage some good picks there two dragons for cloud nine though okay and the next one is coming up in a minute and 20 seconds so you can still hope for that kengis the gold lead is not you know anything crazy right now it's resorted bouncing back and forth between like 500 yeah it's mainly about the item difference and the specific champions and nocturne obviously is the big goal of the whole there so last year make sure you get the fear which allows a very good flanking two very quick Kills nicely picked off here from red exactly what that comp is supposed to do again the jinn long range with the You know pick potential here for them. So nice nice little chunk of gold ahead of the dragon, but here comes that dragon kengis 30 seconds 35 seconds until that's on the rift right now So it's about controlling these waves pushing in APA is pushing up on the top wave doesn't have TP So he's gonna have to walk all the way down So red actually having a short window right now to get their own vision priority as Vulcan will fight them for that Nocturne is quite rich, and he's very tanky because he's so rich on HP the extra tunneler here and upgraded steel caps Means curse can really dive in on me. Oh, I thought that was the outside launch line No, that was just him walking in there. That's the way back on the blabber However, has to flash into the barn ultimate separate fate, used, but Vulcan can't get his jungler out that time. The portal gets him to a safer position, but Red just have too many members there. I mean, Thanatos, he's now caught out. Red circling around him, and the Renekton will be sacrificed. C9 is just going to hit the midway, but instead, Red canids find a pick in the river And we'll actually have to work for the Sanatos kill using the weavers wall But they were also on the dragon the whole time curse is able to get that one C9 can maybe trade for this mid turret, but everyone from red. I mean, they're doing their job They're getting a kill to get the dragon and they're defending the mid turret all at the same time We got clean up these pigs kengis. Yeah Cloud 9 is people just getting picked off Hey, why I mean we can't really go over the dragon fight kengis If someone just get picked off right before it and it's over before it even starts there then You know they corner Thanatos because he was trying to set up a flank for the dragon fight And then if someone just gets picked up and your flank means you're exposed And you're just gonna be the next one to drop over so he went for the wave It's why he went all the way to the end of this. He's like I'm gonna go kill the extra Did get a cannon minion. Nice So... We'll count those. I may have also got pushed in a little bit, but... I mean, I've got to give so much credit to Red Candid still for just finding pick after pick after pick here. I mean, I know that as the English coverage here in the LCS studio, we might be a little... I might be a little biased. It's supposed to be. That was the whole point. That was the whole point. But I've got to give credit to Red Candid. They're playing very, very well, and, you know, they're so focused on what their comp is good at, which is utilizing this Nocturne Ultimate, utilizing the weavers well on top of it and just finding these picks before the objective even starts. Yep. Just keep on repeat getting picks. They got some on the side lanes. Got some right in the river even. And now with the extra funds, what can C9 do about it? I mean they're just trying to keep up their income with the split push again. Still keeping the split push. However, you have so many ways for Red to pick people off. APA going to huddle here by the tower. Tantos you see him moving into jungle as well, trying to get a little bit of vision there, but let's see. Still manageable, two to two on dragons, and definitely still fightable here. Especially APA, you know, he proxies a lot of ages, so he gets his extra level, so he's 16 now. He's got the Saras completed now, but these players are always available for red cannons. Just make the side lane play on the Renekton, who's all alone right now. Paranoid comes in, FNB can't lock down Thanatos for long, but it is gonna be enough as Kirst will go on a rampage. 713 C9 though, they're on the Baron. They'll be spotted out by Red Cannons, but their jungler's on the other side of the map. Current Cone at news, some damage on the Blavver trying to body block it, Vulcan. They're giving a window, but no, they got it. C9 pick up the Baron in trade for Thanatos' life. There you go, they take that trade every day of the week. Good death. Still though, the gold lead for red increases, Genghis, because they did nerf on this season, the gold rewards for Baron, and not only did they get the pick, they're still pushing on towers. Sound's going to get another turret plate, and so it's still a gold positive play for red. Okay, APA just used round warps to try and get away, and then he walked back in the lane. I was a little worried with his movement here. He is able to get where the Frosty stopped to the back. Okay, Kazze is just going to back off. I was very concerned that APA thought he was going to 1v1, but safe play right now, APA can use this Baron to push forward. But to your point, yeah, you have to use the Baron to get more gold right now. The upfront goal to get from just the objective is not what it used to be. C9? C9, okay. Honestly too, with all these flashes up, ooh, my Kale's was just finished by Frosty. That is very good. Let's see, Mikael's finished, nice little spike here. We'll say actualizer done for APA though. Now we're ready for the big Ryze damage. If you get clumped up in one of these fights, Ryze really does thrive against this low range. We're just taking the front to back right now as we engage onto FNB, Thanatos on the right here, on some of the walls that I used. FNB's trying to get away as Blabber follows up, that's Flash out of the scion, plus the ultimate used. Red are able to get their top laner out of there. Okay, Cloud9 with the Baron trying to finish off the mid lane turret here. They do get that goal. Okay. Not too shabby. I was, whenever I see a team, you know, engage onto the scion, onto the dedicated tank, I always hesitate a little bit. Be like, ooh, a lot of cooldowns being used right there, but they didn't use too many cooldowns and they weren't able to still threaten it. Temper Fade not gonna land under Revello. We'll hit the turret though, as now the Weaver's wall comes in so Red can stop the siege from continuing. Nice little flick back there, and they got so much damage on APA! The rise is dead! Flash, pop, awesome! From Crossy to follow up and get the kill for Curse on Desvene, and that's two down on C9. Red man, their trigger pull is just so good. I gotta say, Kaze has been cooking us. He's been cooking. He's been cooking us a lot. So many good to Lee, as Zeiss makes shots. Out of context and red Dragon number three dragon soul point they take down the Baron they put a stop to any of that push from C9 Nicely done I hope we get a replay of that one because that was it felt like a comedy of errors from C9 Like I don't think Vulcan was trying to hit the turret. He was trying to hit Rebello I would imagine it on IMDB. I'm gonna give that one. Uh, well I'm gonna give it a Rotten Tomato. I'm giving it that at the very least because that all I mean I'm giving it a 2. I'm not happy with that play right there because not only do they not get the pick but then he kind of steps back into the side of the chug. Well here's my explanation why APA did that. He fell really fancy because he just dodged that Gin W. Did you see him? He dodges the Gin W and he's like, oh yeah, I got the moves. And then he walks back up to right in front of the Taliyah wall. And then it causes like, yeah, I could put a seismic shove on that side of the wall too, buddy. And he does. He does. And he did. And then. And that's a combo actually, because that stuns you afterwards. And all the damage follows up. It is. Now C9 are trying to stop the siege on this tier 2 mid turret, and they will chunk down FNB a little bit there. But remember that that was C9 with the Baron buff. They were able to pick that up as a trade earlier. And that was a negative Baron power play. I mean, red cannons at the end of it do have more gold. Well, just slightly less gold. So Dragon's soul. Yeah. What are you giving that on IMDB? You asked me the question. I thought it was pretty funny. So I think I'm gonna give it a little bit higher. It wasn't like, oh, I'm holding my belly, you know, falling out of my chair or anything, but it gave me a chuckle. And I could see why it was doing it. So I'm gonna give it like a six. A six out of 10. Okay. It's like a solid scary movie level, you know? Yeah. It's like a parody of film directors. I usually think that like, if something has like a seven, then it's watchable. Seven and a half is like, it'll get pretty good. like up into the eighths and you're like, all right, it's like this really needs to be good if it's like between eight and nine. Then I'm like, all right, you're pretty, yeah, you're like, Oh, I'll definitely watch that. I'll check it out. But this one, you don't really need to tell, you're not telling your friends, you gotta check that out. Okay. See, I actually, I sometimes I love six out of 10. Sometimes those are the best movies because like there's enough there that you appreciate or like Joe's gonna make fun of it while you're watching. Yeah, but like almost those are like three out 10 yeah you really look at the shark Natoes you know that's like this is bad and that's part of why it's fun yeah I want to see what chat thinks what what out of ten is cloud nine at this tournament yeah in terms of comedy right now because uh then it does get caught again in the sideline here it's a weaver's law plus a paranoia and yet again I mean he's gonna try and buy some time get to that way can you get the can in this time nope side of the truck back to get some of the melee minions but Man, Red, every time, I just punish him C9 any moment they overstep. Yeah. Honestly, Red looking like they're going to put a very good start to this. I know we emphasized at the beginning, we're like, oh, it's a full Nesta 5. Nesta 5, baby. But the trend that we have seen for C9 after traveling here is trending downwards. Let's be honest. So I don't know Fred are gonna let them have full five games. I mean I just at this point See we're gonna take it one one game at a time This game is still one of those one games at a time It's not out of our control fully here another paranoia now on this vent plus the curtain call But he's able to get back to safety and a Vulcan blabber tank up the rest of the current call shot Blabber's about half health and now APA joining up on the fight They read you on a brawls via pick out of an eco flash bob lost him away As the number fade lands for Vulcan, but the follow-up just isn't quite there Sion will split the fight as he has a couple of onslaughts in and now the rest of red retreat away from their Sion FnB is gonna have to try his best to get away from danger, but he cannot do it shut down The flanking renext in is the scariest renext in Thanos gets it done huge. This is Baron Kangas. They can threaten now curse has Flash and his ult will be out shortly. So C9 gonna head over to the Baron during these death timers. They have a long time with both soul laners dead. Does Red want to even try anything? It looks like they don't want to try anything. C9! They pull it back with another Baron. Two barons in this game. Dragon, look at that timer. 15 seconds pretty shortly with the Baron and Power Recall. Are they gonna get there in time? I mean, I think they can. What's funnier than one Baron? Two Barons baby. We got it and now there is time to get back towards the dragon. It's funny in five seconds. There will at least be a smite contest even if red rip it right away, but they still have two people dead. Death timers are real as the temperate fate used from Volcanus spotted out just in case they were on it. Exactly. Now C9 are approaching teleport in from FNB. It's gonna be a 4v5 here as the root lands on the APA. APA. Frosty throws out the clones to try and buy some vision for the Panathos, takes the bar portal forward, but there's Kazi! Rebellion's got the damage on top of him as well, Panathos in trouble! The lights go on and the bomb locks him against Kazi, the kill. Now the knockup from FNB only lands onto one side, taking up as much damage as he can to curtain call. APA dodging that last tick of damage. C9 will trade one for one, the top laners go down, but Arunaan has been! Shut up, you lambrod occurred, you got it! C9 fight two, Blaber goes into the GA. Kazian Frosty, the only two left alive, the root lands, but the threat of all is just aren't quite there. Vulcan, he got the Q! Cosmic Binding sets up Blaber and C9 wins the fight. Whoo! That was a nail fighter! Okay! Oh my goodness, the Cosmic Binding into the spear over the edge of the wall there, Kengis. Now, I'm relaxed. I'm comfortable again. Ben, do you see Sven's help bar? Yeah. That was one tick left on his help bar. He vouched away. He vouched away to live another day. I thought for sure he was going down there. That was a slim margin, but Blaber was able to survive that time around, had the GA as well. Let's get a look at that replay. I mean, this part, the magical journey got me real nervous, because Taliyah's up there too. So, then it takes a bunch of damage. But down on the other side, You can see them starting to work through the front line of red. And after being forced to flash out here, they actually get more time on Scion. And Kasei steps up, he wanted another big seismic shove. But that now forced him to the back of the fight because he took a big chunk of damage. I mean, see now I barely pulled this one out. As the APA went down right at the edge with the Scion zombie form. And there it is, Vulcan sets him up and he's got flanks to avoid the seismic shove. Nice Great set up there from Vulcan to get them that dragon get us the three dragons each end off this baron power play kengis That is a huge one for cloud nine finally. They have the gold lead It was in reds favor the entire game essentially from the moment they use that first paranoia and This is what you want from a baron buff the first one, you know It wasn't quite what they were looking for This time around they actually do mount the comeback with a 3.2k gold lead That was what a 6k delta total so far impressive stuff large. Yeah, huge gigantic sizable Robust We'll see how robust it is, you know I still feel a little shaky source some of the dodges and little moves for its pics and stuff We're on a bit of a seesaw here, Kengis. And now you can say the same thing for Red. Is that the game, I mean, it's not out of... I kind of like that, that there's excitement at any moment. We could go either way. True. That is true paranoia. That's a Nocturne game. I've never ridden one. Speaking of Nocturne's fine Sanitas. Here, Cosley lives in Sonic's Shove. Renekton's taking a lot of damage, but the deadly flourish. Doesn't look like it actually got the root. Either way, Tennis just gets over the wall back to safety. Okay, red or a lot of burst damage with Dr. Tulea Jin, willing to get some good seismic shoves, chunk someone down, so honestly I think we're going to live and die by the next couple picks. Yeah. Both close teams have the capabilities. And we got to, if you're on C9's side, I think the focus is don't get too hyphy because Sanatos didn't go for a GA himself, Lapper still doesn't have his GA. They have the goldly, but if they get picked in the side lane, they are susceptible to falling in those situations. Well, Kirst does have his freshly finished Guardian Angel, so not their comfortable sense. That's how the zone is though, so Ryze is a little safer in that side lane as he'll actually back and go to answer FNB now in the sound line. Julia kind of hover plays. I like this whenever both teams have a lot of tools for side lanes. plays inside lanes where you get a trailing you know follower for your split pusher to look for a counter can be really big because even a couple different seconds here as APA. Yeah there it is, the science makes up Lance That's right as well. The tempered fate will buy time as Curse not even get the damage into this. We smash it. Zodias by APA. Stasis into Stasis and the rise stands. Now C9 gives a flight from Sanitose. Bob Ross will land on the two members but Sven is on touch and the core geek in free fire. So much space and time bought by APA and Sanitose and it sets up the rest of C9 to crush it. Blabber the Grand Start over the wall, but he's actually shut down by Rebello. Little deep there for the Pantheon. Still a defy win for C9 as Rebello will it for a little more of his vent. I've seen enough. OK, first dodge, second dodge. He has no idea where they are. He's just pre-firing, doesn't land a single one. C9, answer the play. I've seen enough, Genghis. Player of the game is Vulcan. Player of the game is Vulcan, OK. So barred ult into instant zonias from APA by so much time. Enough and then APA comes out of his own zone as he pox his phase rush and runs out of there buying the perfect amount of time for cloud Nights counter again Vulcan barred Vulcan barred if they end up actually losing it If they went if it's on the side of red, you know, maybe cause they or something like that We'll see we'll see there in number three kengis. What's funny of the two Barrett's? Three three this is serious. It's a serious serious here. Okay, we've gone from a comedy or drama now You need to close this one out, I would say, because the longer it goes, the higher chance of these side lane picks happening. But, APA, I mean, I guess we did see exactly what you were talking about, having that hover play from Vulcan on the bar, it was exactly what you were just talking about happening in real time, basically. You just have your support hover that side of the map, it's full pushers though. I'm thinking more about the red, the player of the games, Frosty was really good getting them the lead, remember, at the beginning. But, Cursor is the one with all the money. Okay, here we go. if we have to address that as this could be the deciding fight right now. C9 still have the Baron buff and they're in control of her midway. This is the Dragon Soul point for C9. It's a...or actually no it is Dragon Soul for them. They were in the both heads of one. They were in the both heads of one. Head souls for either team. Three to three. Whatever goal. Whatever goal. All right. Big fight now then. As the rockets come through for Sven, Curse chunked out. About half house here. So you'll look at the blue buff. But Blaber also chunked out in the seismic shove of Kaze. So both junglers saw 100% health, but GA is back for Blabber. Same to be said for Curse. Looks like we might have a little bit of a breath here. Frosty actually spotted out by Blabber. Paranoid will be used. Pop Lawson will hit onto two members and Kaze takes the Weaver's Wall and straight into the wading arms of Thanatos. Vulcan lands the Cosmic Binding onto three, including the top laner, but the stun follow-up will mean the team fight follow-up from C9 they'll get two they'll get three and it's a three for zero trade in favor of the boys in blue C9 win another fight yeah I honor Vulcan that definitely seals the deal I mean he bought time for them to go in that's gonna be the game came out then gets another kill on his own it's only cursed left alive and not for long a clean 0 for 5A's for C9 as they will close out game number one in this best of five. Let's go put some Vulcan players in. Yeah, Kobe's already standing up. He's put his heads at doubt. He's getting ready for the replays because we're going to watch how Vulcan was able to find some clutch and very much needed plays for C9, whether it's APA, even if it's live in that top lane or that game-winning teamfight right there. But hey, C9, they end the curse. They're able to pick up a game. And there was concern, I think, in the beginning of this one. But it's about how you finish, Chad. It's about how you're able to play in the teamfights. Oh, it is. It is, Kengis. I mean, that was a roller coaster of a game. You know, went through a lot of emotions while we were watching that one. And I've pulled up one of the team fights right here that that really caused you to kind of spike So let's just run through this one because we start out Flabras back here on the red buff wants to finish it and then pantheon old in cloud I'm kind of taking a lot of space here. This is after The second Baron one of the barons one of the three parents I think this is the first bear yeah That was APA dodge to that Jinroo and then walked up and got seismic shove and you're like, oh, no No, this is where it really started to feel like. Red were going to be able to snowball this, and they were going to be able to repeat the kind of sadness that we've experienced for Cloud9 at this tournament. Kaze, I thought Kaze had played so well on this to Leia, so many seismic shoves, getting so many summer spells. He bought Flabber's Flash right there as well. And this is the one that got them to a point. So you're like, oh my goodness, next time we get around to it, It's going to be extremely, extremely important. But then Cloud9 started to make some plays. Let's take a look at the beginning of this one. This was towards the mid lane, starting it out. And again, a lot of the boards, they get some vision. Go in with a Nocturne ultimate. Nocturne plus Jhin combinations for them. Cursed had been really strong. He hadn't quite finished his Guardian Angel, though. And this is where we get the full combo. Can you go back? And I want to watch the start of this one again here, because it actually looks like there's no vision from red. This is essentially a blind nocturnal. Like, look at this. They go on the trap, for sure. Yeah, but you don't see anyone else from C9. I guess they assume Sven is alone, so they try and full send it onto them. They rise his bottom at least in walking up. Okay, still an ambitious play. They just did not expect that many members of C9 to be right there. Yeah. And then, so it leads to this scenario where we get to turn around and we get the Baron that ends up coming four cloud nine that forced the old out of frosty the flash out of frosty You know is really good front blabber, you know target targeting enemy Nika's if you could ever find them You know and jump them out and then you're forcing red half the team this way and then the sign holds through and FNB was really split and this was kind of the comeback scenario for cloud nine that skirmish that started all out and as you said You know there at red was taking some risks going just further to the corky that's showing and chasing into the bush there so this led to the first baron Yeah, and we get some more critical moments some more fun this this was this was the beginning of oh This was the magical journey that was so dangerous for then it does but fun that still ended up getting it Okay, so look at this Let's look at from cloud 9 perspective because they don't know this still is here. Yeah, so they see it was like hey Thanatos I'll get you over to this gin and then they're like oh no the Taliyah was coming down mid lane and Thanatos gets burst down But then huge burst damage onto the front line They Cloud9 actually get a lot of work there where they force out the knock turn and then they're able to chunk out Cause they because he walked up to get his seismic shove And so this gets us to our you know three on three dragons where this game was so Incredibly close and this is where you start to start chanting for Vulcan here cuz Blabber goes into the Guardian Angel Vulcan's like don't worry I'll let you get up. I'll screen him. Boom cosmic binding onto the wall flashes the seismic shove into the combo from blabber And then you get some more tempered fate and this is the last one right here. Yeah, this is beautiful It's so hard to land these in the paranoia, but he's able to buy time and then boom Instant zone is from APA and then he proxies you know phase rest meanwhile Thanatos had time to teleport to the top side because of the double Immunity there with the stop wash good focus fire the shot calling from cloud nine to go for cause a Definitely critical for them. They got his flash out. They're just flashes over to keep up the pressure to You know, so we stun this jungler and we're good. They clear up the rest of them. Yeah Well played from Vulcan Kobe We were going to get you back over here because we want to listen to some of the columns from the fights themselves and hear what it was like from the C9 perspective because the end of the curse at the very least they picked up game number one they were winless so far in this tournament but one on the board right now. Let's take a listen in. Never worried. Never worried. Let's take a listen on some of the C9 comps. question. Are they back? Do they ever leave really? I think yesterday they did. Yeah, actually they left the two days before yesterday. They've arrived. They've arrived now. I don't know if they're back, but they're definitely here now as they're able to strike first in this bus. If I put red cannons, they were in control of I'd say like 80% of that game. If we're being honest, they looked good. They looked really good. You know, saw a lot of good things from their from their bottom lane, especially at the beginning. I loved their bottom lane baiting with their flashes and then covering with Nocturne Ultimate. I was really nicely done. Yeah, about 80% right there. I mean, look at the gold. It wasn't ever like crazy extreme 3.1k. It's not insurmountable. As we said, it was a surmountable lead from Z-Nide's perspective. But I think echoes of what we saw with red cannons versus sentinels in their game one loss as well. It's like they can get the lead. They can play the early couple of dragons very clean. But then at a certain point, they do sometimes, you know, overaggress. I think in this time it kind kind of was curses, Nocturne, old onto his van. You highlighted that he's seen by the trap, but they didn't know the other members of C9 were there. And there you go, Kobe, you got it. Vulcan is MVP of game number one. Nice Bardo. Nice Bardo. Zero only died one time. Yeah. I think they did a lot of dying in that game overall. I think they were like 15 plus deaths on the team. Bart is a champion too that fluctuates very, very wildly Yeah, from super good to trolling your team. So good job, Vulcan. Good job, Vulcan. Super good in that one. We're going to throw it to a quick break. We'll be back with game number two. You have a good game, Summoner. This is Lapa-3. I I I I I I I I and and welcome back everybody to the America's Cup of best of five between C nine and red candidates board Kobe they picked up game one it was dicey for a lot of that game but they were able to pull it back they are on that board that is true Vulcan nice Bard game from him and remember that Bard is also one of Frosty's most played the split so it's also a good like fearless kind of take away and per man on that side too but no well-deserved there they definitely needed a lot of of those defensive plays from him. So let's catch up here in the draft in game number two. Rumble Jarvan talked a lot yesterday, but the spicy hot pot combination, the cataclysm, the rumble ultimate. And I always like starting out drafts this way because rumble alone, as that's a singular pick for Thanatos, is really, really powerful. And then APA, it's like, well, They could do a Yone on this like we saw yesterday from Fury, but I don't feel like that's usually an angle that they go for for APA, so I think they're going to do one of the other Rumble comps where it says, ah, APA will just grab a different AP solo. The Galio is a very common pick, as you know, into the Rumble because you can use your magic shield and be just fine up there. And then it also gives you Galio pluses in teamfighting, which is quite substantial. Yeah, it does mean that AD midlaners have a little higher value because if you go double AP into Galio, it doesn't matter who he's in the side lane against. So I would love it if APA was able to find something AD focused to pick here, but it's going to be Sivir instead as priority for Sven. Interesting to see that kind of rise in popularity and priority here as now they can ban out some other bot laners that might give that some problems. No, instead it's going to be the Akali for Akali. Yeah, you gotta be in the Akali, I suppose. Kind of surprising it wasn't in that first rotation, actually. I think we're all just traumatized from last year. It doesn't really so. But, I mean, there also are, you know, a lot of flexible options still left open here. So, you know, definitely Support Pick is going to be big. Enchanters have been so powerful, I guess. And honestly, if you get a nice pushing bottom lane here, it can completely change the early game as we've seen, but a lot of mid lane bans here, still following it up, so they even give the extra respect here. Are they going to throw another APA ban? They throw the Azir at him, but I mean, the Ziggs always comes to mind. Yeah, Ziggs was banned in the first rotation Azir, and he had already played Taliyah, So I'd say the three most popular we've seen them on are gone as options. Which, yeah, means it will most likely get something new. And that was, yeah, interesting. We saw Cinder yesterday, had been a while since I'd seen one in competitive play, but it's still a threat at all times, especially for AD carries. You know, you just have so much burst damage as you're able to scale that ultimate to your full stacks. And again, even though you could think, oh yeah, Yone would go great. it for the Comfort Cloud 9, APA just hasn't ever played it, so he just never, obviously he can always be like, ah, he's been practicing it, and then he's been saving it this whole time, but I doubt now would be like, if you were gonna do some sort of surprise thing like that, um, and pull out your first Yone, I don't think it would be now, so yeah. You don't think so? They go with the control mage here, standard victor, yeah, but that means they're saving counter pick for Vulcan rather than saving counter pick for APA which is interesting to think about that you know they banned away the Akali Nari maybe they're just thinking those are the Kazi problem picks it doesn't matter what he plays at this point. And Gage is good with Rakan Gali of whoo that is very scary for a victor. There we have it Kazi says alright if you're not gonna lock in the Yone I'll lock in the Yone I mean it doesn't combo with the Rumble J4 how does it combo into the rumble j4 well well well with Recon and Gallio so true he's gonna have a very good time you have to feel like I will say the early lane phase though if you can get some push here Victor is very good at you know stacking up so if you stack up Victor and you get some Jarvan early mobility with a lot of pushing power then maybe they can open up something there for blabber let's see. Hard Engaged here though, dive comp for red. This is very straightforward. Dive comp, dive comp, dive comp. So they are, they're going to live and die by get some money early and just dive dive dive. Can we kill Victor over and over? Can we go silver over and over? You know, a single spell shield. Is it going to protect you from all? Is it going to protect you from all? But Volkyn can help as the Alistar is the final pick counter. Bodyguard. Bodyguard. Yeah, just head butt that work out of way. Yeah, you can't get in with the grand entrance if he's pushed back to his team. Something to think about as Vulcan, this was the red five as it used to be called. Not technically blue five here. Second pick, five. What do we call it? Does it have a fancy name? Just last pick. That is a little easier, I suppose. Last pick, Alistair, for the MVP of game number one. We'll see if he's able to string together two MVP performances. C9 has, again, ended the curse. They had not picked up a win since Thanatos had gotten a player of the game, something he had really been going, that was the curse, but there we go, they're able to pick one up. Yeah, there you go. All right, we've been having some fun with it on the couch here for America's Cup, viewing it from the North American perspective, and the North American perspective, getting a little bit brighter. Feeling better. A little bit. Feeling better. It's a slow, slow uphill, uh, journey that you know where I came from. A little slow uphill journey. Come with us on this journey, everybody, at home in chat listening a lot. Point in. Take a seat. We've got to actually seat on the couch. Grab a beverage. Have some fun. I do want to remind everybody as well that since I have donned the vacation shirt, as I called it, you're going to claim. NA has not lost a game. So you're ever in curse. Fighting each other a little bit here, but no. I like that red chroma on that Gallia too. Oh, that is. This is my personal favorite skin in the game, but that red chroma is also making it look real nice. Aren't you a jungler? I am. I assume that would be like a volleyball skin is your favorite or something. You got to respect the good looking skin case. Game is game. Also, I play FlexQ solo, both solo lanes. Gallia is my co-team for mid lane. OK, fair enough. As we're seeing early game Alistair things, He's just using that headbutt to try and trade as much health as he can, that'll surpass it. Well, obviously a little topped off here in the lane, as again, trying to prevent Rebellion from getting those last hits. And that's an early ghost popped by his vent, answered by the heal of Frosty, and actually gets a couple autos in there. Hey, stack that lethal tempo up, and try and get some positive health trade. He gets the ghost for the heal, plus, you get to push on the wave. So, always good for Silver there. They get their level two, so they don't have to worry about the surprise. We're gonna get, once again, both junglers pathing down towards bottom. And so you do have to be cognizant of these early ganks. That is something that both Cloud9 and Sentinels fell prey to yesterday. Early ganks on their bottom lanes. And especially for C9's bottom lane, There have been a lot of games where, so far at least at this tournament, they have fallen for it to early kills. Gotta learn from past mistakes. Pull me once, shame on me. Pull me twice, don't get fooled again. As right now, we have Blabberhubbering on the bottom side. I think that if C9, if there is an early game, could at least the J4's in the right neighborhood. Yeah, both bottom side clears, well just finishing full clears and then looking towards grab. Midlan has priority for APA as expected. You know, it's a you know Victor and Teone here try and get your trades try and stack up And keep cause a as low as possible make use of your airy every time area is up And the way Vulcan was positioned in the lane I think this is C9 learning from those mistakes He was like okay I'm gonna stand in the river to make sure that the jungler can never get on to my ad carry is cause a yeah He's getting chunked pretty heavily now and now Now, Blabber could actually look to impact mid lane instead of the bottom side as both junglers are leaving the bottom half of the map and will start to pass up towards the top. I like this, they know the ward is in the fay lights, and so Blabber is actually wrapping around for the scryer bloom. They're going to get both wards here and the CS advantage here for Sven. Oh Blabber, she's got a sleight, but it's nice. Yeah, so they saw the second one in the pixel brush as well. Oh, I don't think that made it into the tri brush. Yeah, that word didn't make it into the tri brush So blabber just goes for the back anyway But right now still have to play safe because I don't think they have that vision and Vulcan went up to go body block Quills so blabbers recall can go off because you don't want to be late for your second clear You're a gromp was responding. So blabber had You know invested the scryer so they can kill the ward and then needs to get back for his second clear to remain efficient For the jungler to spot the support, backing that up as Vulcan goes in onto Grapello. That is now the barrier used. Vulcan throws up the Emo. And another trade for C9. This time they don't have to trade their own. Last time it was the Ghost for the heal. Now it's just the barrier picked up as more damage lands on a Frosty, Red's bot lane getting shoved in under their turret. They're holding onto some summoner spells here during these trades too. I'm wondering if Vulcan was going to invest heal or anything, but they've got the push once again, so Cloud9 Bottom lane looking pretty healthy. Mid lane might be attacked soon. Yeah, there's a laser clear up. The ward flashes away. Gravity Field goes down, stun onto Curse, and now Blabber's joined up. Fly and Drag knocked up the land, and they're in the way, cursing a lot of damage, but does get to safety and red to get their jungler out of there. It's an interesting difference. And Blabber gonna stick around and make sure APA can show up because the difference is All this red damage was put into APA And all the C9 damage was put into enemy jungler But junglers can just go back into their camps and heal back up and You know, it's probably not gonna get invaded whereas APA needs to help get into a six So he can use the chaos storm to push the rest of that wave Commence the ultimate, goes for the reset And picks up his first buy back into the lane Vulcan even helping hunger there now back into the bottom side as Frosty will link up We got a 2v2 proper again and now jungler is both on the bottom half as well. We're still 30 seconds away from that next crab spawning. It's gonna be on the top side actually so That six-minute crab not on the bottom half of the map where the junglers are we'll see who's able to pass up there faster Well, Zin's on a controller in the line brush by mid lane, so So I wonder if, ah yeah, so Blabber, good call by Blabber, just goes over the wall, not gonna walk through the dangerous area there where they don't have any knowledge. And he's gonna get up to that top side crab, like 0.1 seconds quicker than the 10. Everybody's rushing for it, but mid lane priority, as you can see from the mini map, is to yone side. So red, red are gonna have mid laner helping junglers start to crab here, and curse is going to grab it. Not the biggest issue for Blabber since Eldis finished up his own side and nobody's gonna die over the level 6 grab It's a moral victory for Red though, you know, they're getting to the head here. Yeah of Blabber They know how bad the crabber wants that one. Yeah, I mean they try to drag it for that in game number one so I'm not able to pick that one up as a blabber will just go back to clear in his own camps and still hit level 6 That's a nice little trade there like a 300 350 health positive trade for red they even out range the silver Q response from Sven But of course Alistar heal. Yeah, quite nice I want to hit six it's gonna be almost impossible the 2v2 to actually find the kill on him not actually possible But close to they hit level six early on rebello though because they don't fully commit to the energy. Okinawa had to use summoner spell heal too, so they got a full summoner spell. APA throws out the graphing field plus the arcane storm on the kaze right there who just solo bounds back to safety. So APA down his ultimate again. Now it's a little dizzy because now kaze can land the fate shield and potentially look for an all in with the backup of curse. They're on dragon right now, so he's trying to like, maintain posture. I think blabber is this is enough time like it. They bought enough time to finish the dragon to And they had visual confirmations in his recalling so C9 That's a little sneak there on the dragon blabber slips in over the top if you it throws down With the early skirmish there pushes them out Not bad opening Sanatose even sticks around there looks like he faked it back fake to recall FNB completes his recall Thanatos stays to push one more wave in and we'll go for his reset with a little more gold in his pocket So much better early game this time Kobe from game number one by this point in game number one There's already like a 1.5 K lead for red, but this time around it's just a slight lead for C9 Plus the first dragon picked up by them stacking up there on the CS as well Thanatos meanwhile with his rumble on top side is close to Billy injuries not quite completed here yet, but I'll make white nicely and should be able to get shortly Should be able to get on that next back at the very least and his TP will be up Probably in about a minute's time here F&B's will be up a little shorter So there's a world that Thanatos is actually able to back and get that before they go for any other Say that top crab plus the grubs here TP coming in and it's support TP with the unsealed spellbook from Frosty This low is gravely TP I've seen. They got the crab, but mid lane got chucked out. And now they're just gonna go for the engage C9 and then jump on the curse. In comes the Galio to help him out as Kame finds ill, but only on the one member. First blood, the Thanatos. Red try and contest in the river and get punished. C9 has the members and get a triple kill to their top laner. Thanatos has come to play. I think King is also, it's all about the setup. I mean, you look at the prep for that fight, they just chunked Kaze down to 50%. Now, they're going for Revello. Yeah, Vulcan's able to get into the bot lane. Revello has to flash over the wall. Flash follow from Sven. He fancies himself to kill. Can he land the boomerang? Oh, the recall just barely not able to get him. All right, they are gonna be able to push in the next minion wave at the very least and get that tower played on bottom too. But again, they just chunked out this Yone before the fight even started down to 50% health. So C9 had really, really good setup into that fight. And even though they lose the crab, they win the bigger reward. Of course, all the kills. Plus, they got the triple on Thanatos directly, and the triple of grubs for the team. Yeah, and Thanatos now has Leonry's complete. After the triple kill. He was doing a bigger. Yeah, full merc treats, too, on top of it, so. Yeah, look at the combo here. So, Blaver went in, he soaks all their engage, Galio holds on the top, and he gets his Jarvan ult, flashes back out, he lives, and I mean, the combo there with Jarvan into Alistar, into Rumble, is so much damage. And since they had the extra person of Victor already kind of pushed Yone to the side, so yeah, cause they could go E and then ult, but he can't stay in for very long. Just, there was a huge, huge damage difference. I think what we learned is if everybody, from those four presses there are in the same circle, C9 wins it. Because that's kind of what happened there was just all... If you AOE three people, that's better than just hitting one. Yeah, true. I guess the Akaze is fate to only hit the one. Yeah, that's a good point. And Thanatos, again, being the one that kind of benefits from it the most, can now take over this game. He was also in a winning position in game number one. Yeah, I was into the scion, but still we've seen what Thanatos is able to do when he gets a lead for C9, 1.4K, it's gonna be really tough for FNB to survive now. So, Tantos really loves Player of the Games. He does. Not gonna go fully in on it here, but Tantos, he keeps going on the Cloud9 podcast all split long, all lock-in tournament long, talking about trying to get the Player of the Game, they finally got one and you're referring to the previous curse that they had since after that the Anabena would win, but now he's positioned with this large gold lead to get another one. So we'll see if it's actually the secret to their strength. I will say Volkan is playing really well again. So I think for the series overall, I think it's opening up quite nicely for him, but we'll see how this game plays out Because it's only a 2.8k gold lead at the moment and the one dragon. So we'll see if red ever get their big dive to be successful. Sven, for them, doesn't have flash now and so you're thinking, well, since Sven used his flash to go flash over that wall and then he didn't kill off Revello, didn't get the Varus. Maybe red can use their dive comp on that, but they're trying to look at then, it's also in his gold bounty. Curse is up here, FNB's gonna start it off. Not in range to get the taunt though as Thanatos just gets the movement speed and runs away. Thanatos is not going close to those side lane brush. Nah, doesn't need to. Grab field on the Cod's there but he's able to walk over it and so on. Bound back to safety, big chunk on the APA there. Curse hasn't really been able to find much, but now he's looking at the mid lane as Ghost is used by APA, dodges out the mortal steel. Vulcan will tank up the turret with the unbreakable and pick up the kill for himself. Rubello goes down to C9's dive. And they're looking to chase, but I swear that's fine for Cloud. What? Oh, FNB's actually on mid lane now throws out the taunt and flash from APA. Curses under the turret, taking damage. Two shots, but the arcane's room is not enough to get the kill. Meanwhile, Wulga to lane Kafe, he goes to the bottom side and immediately gets It's catapulted by Blabber, but jumps back to safety. Now Frosty, with the quickness, CC's up, members of C9, but they don't have enough damage to follow it up. So C9 still get the wave to crash. Now, I mean, Curz is here, but everyone's super low. Looks like the play's gonna get called off. Some honorable play here from APA absorbing all this pressure mid lane to allow the extra plays on bottom lane. Three members, four cloud nine, are able to pull off that dive because APA is juking out multiple ganks. He had a jungle gank from top side and a support ganky in from bottom side and he used ghost to get out of it And then he still had his flash. So let's get the second gank. Here we go flash Flash engage, double naga bomb to Sven but it is not enough Vulcan with the combo Locks up Frosty and Kaze for a kill on Sven. Now Blibber trying to get away, flashes away from curse When it becomes letting him not land on the Vulcan, Sven gets out of there with the kill credit Now one kill on the board for the 80 carry It seems like Glock9 have warmed up down there in Brazil. They have certainly warmed up this game They're looking a lot more snappy Labyrinth get the flag and dragon to cause it, but we'll push him back It could turn from a kill into a dragon take as all causes going for the reset to spoken stop it now I mean There's so many honors to give out Yeah, APA I was loving when my laners avoid ganks like that effectively, you know, he had one summoner spell for each time So that was like efficient avoidance from him with that Vulcan my goodness You gotta love this guy the peel that he had. Oh, are they gonna go? They're going for another one right now Sanditose gets on the cause a big roast damage sellports coming in as red are gonna try and pinster C9 C9 have not gotten a kill yet. Cursus still alive and in comes FNB from the shutdown on his band Red get their mid laner and jungler out of there as Frosty with a pop the quickness APA sees himself with a Robello chain of corruption goes out for the galley won't pop top A pick up APA C9 start to crumble in the height red yet to lose a man Oh, ho ho! Planking health bars. He's not gonna land. There's millions of them. Flabbery's back on the reveal. And Volkan again with the combo. Shut down on a fan of those. Flabber will. Flabber. No, he's still up. Flabber's actually able to hold the line. The J4 with a triple kill. Volkan chases out FNB. Red almost found the play. But C9's jungler is able to hold the line on a ramp. Hey, with an unofficial quadra kill. Okay, at the beginning of that red outplay cloud 9 for the first like 10 15 seconds of it Red or red got so many girls But then all the low health member is sticking around to try and help the other ones out and in the end Blabber is welcome to collect the extra kills kengis. Are you having fun? I'm having a lot of fun right now This this is going from that two out of ten to a nine out of ten in terms of entertainment value at the very least So red like all right Alright, this is our moment, we got him make our play. Kaze flashes out and he escapes with just enough health. So then, C9, while they try and go for the rest of the kills here, FMV teleports in and he is able to get a flash and two taunts which sets up the Yone ult to grab the kills. But then, this is the best part for Red, because they have frosty flank into Galio ultimate back to the rest of the team and then they still all survived with Vladimir Kane. But then they went a little bit too far afterwards. Yeah, we have to get back to live. Yeah, Cloud9 cleaned up a bunch of coats afterwards. But those first couple of plays were really good from Red. I will stay. I don't know if I'm super bulked by us now, but like. You're really feeling it. Yeah, I am. I'm definitely pretty bulked by us so far. This game has definitely been another good program. Of course, Blabber is the one who got paid a lot off that because a lot of other C9 members had died and so Blabber cleaned up a bunch of gold that's four kills 2k the gold lead individually for him and you know it's always nice to have the extra armor shred but Volkan going for a dive play on the FNB with APA under the turret will end the headbutt Polvarai's not used quite yet another turret shot onto him teleport comes in from Kazi to keep FNB safe, but Vulcan took one, maybe a couple too many church shots continue to play, yeah, that was a lot. That is going to open up the possible objective start here for Red. Oh, they go for a re-engage. It was for another headbubble rise on Takaze this time around and is able to get out, has to pop the old mid. Unbreakable used, Blaber almost picked off on the side there. Frosty and Curse found him. So they're buying a lot of time for the split push. Oh, Anatoly's done lots of them. Red have done this a lot. this versus Sentinels a bunch of games and they're doing it a bunch here to overgrouping for some of the plays that they go for. They give up a lot of sideline money, Kankis. Yeah, I mean, Thanatos is just kind of pulling them around the map. Even in the last game we saw this happen where they, you know, drop the Herald mid, they have five people there. Meanwhile, AP and Thanatos are pushing sideline. C9 have been focused on the gold for their solo laners when it comes to these plays. And they also get the Rift here, even the red were the ones to kind of group up around that objective APA surviving here on cause a Z solo bounds back to see nine things they're looking very positive for them and they get another neutral objective and so far have not gone down but blabber could be in some trouble right now spate seal shut down curse picks up the kill let's see there's not not a ton for them to get after it of course it's really nice to get the kill on the blabber because Blabber had shut down on top of it and he was the biggest kind of gold difference previously. With objective bounties too, I mean, see what they can do. They're still overstaying in the topside jungle here. Rakan ends in still up here with plenty of wards. Frosty getting a lot of vision set up so maybe Red can get some repeat pick plays. But again, they dropped so much side lane gold in a lot of these And now it's really adding up for Cloud9, you know, Infinity Edge for Sven on top of his Gentile. So, Sivir is gonna be hitting in these team fights, and you're gonna get a lot of these two out of power spikes. The dragon's about to spawn right now. So, they had all these people topside to get vision priority there, clear out wards. Well, that's not where the next action's gonna be. I'm imagining it's gonna be at this dragon instead. So, now Red have to reset, get back into the bottom half of the map, and try and get the vision down here. I mean, do you fight this dragon even? I mean, they don't have teleport on Yone, so I guess they're saying we're not gonna fight it because like it's only dragon number three and You're pretty low on gold. They are trying to at least get their own jungle So they want to at least not get counter jungles here. So get their blue quadrants, but again if Yone has top with no teleport Ain't no way they're full sending or anything. So should just be get a little bit of gold for themselves get their own jungle I like how I get it. C9 have started it up, APA and Vulcan will just hold the line and keep Red's approach off of it. Kazi's in the 1v1 versus Tanna just in the top lane. C9 get the dragon and are now on dragon's sole point with a 5000 gold lead. They also got the grub, they also got the Herald, which I believe hasn't even, has it gone down yet? Have they dropped that Herald? Did they pick up? Yeah, they'll get it. I already used it. Um, let's see, they're not super close to objective bounty, but the closest thing is this top tower. The problem for Red is that it's really hard to get it, since they're running this dive comp, and you're running into a team that still has all these outer towers of defense, you've really got to overload the side to be able to get it. Forcibly play here, so. Kerz is just going to try and walk through this side lane brush, and right now they're resetting, you see they've got Tumper on Tanto, so just have him bottom lane, and get the push going. Sivirkin can AOE waves really quickly now, so it's been planted in mid lane pretty far up, honestly, and just annihilates the wave, and you're not allowed for C9 to move up. Get your vision on Baron, and get the last remnants of that outer tower. I think that outer tower for Red only has like 100 health or something, maybe even less. And meanwhile, Vulcan, I mean, he's the safest member on C9 right now, even though Waze would be the one, yeah. Oh wow, that was like a couple cast reminiscences. They killed that thing. Alright, so Kaze no longer has a turret topside to hide behind. That is the final outer turret picked up by C9. His red have multiple members. In the water, Sharks flashed and glimpsed. He pops the ghost immediately, and now let's see if Rossi's able to hold him into place. They get the chain CC, fate, shield, knockup, and if yay, tussle, the flash, the shield is not enough to keep him alive. Kaze picks up the kill. Again, you know, very... I mean, that's a strong pick onto the sideline. Send three, yeah, they, uh, they successfully kill APA, he goes early, and then it's like, all right. Yeah, I'm actually probably not getting out of this one, so. I've long enough thought it was going to, to be fair. Yeah, um, still three minutes, still the dragon, and so, oftentimes, when a team sends on you like that, you have to keep in mind what's more important. Genghis, what's more important is Dragon Soul. So like, yeah, I may die here, but even if he had been able to use the Flash to live, I don't think it would be worth it because your 5-minute Flash Timer is going to be longer than the Dragon Soul Timer. So I like that he accepts his death after just using the Ghost. And it is a good combo and it's a good play from Red to be able to grab that kill and grab this money. But Cloud9 are still looking towards Dragon's Soul. Now only two are just under two and a half minutes. I see that first comment from Chat right there. Give me five games, please. We both expected five games. A lot of action ahead of us still, but so far it looks like C9 could go 2-0 to start this best-of-five off. They're 4,000 in the lead and they're on Dragon's Soul point. Red have a dive composition if they find one member of C9 out of position they still can pounce on to them So jobs not done for C9 They got to make sure that they don't give those windows to red You know what red are gonna be looking for those opportunities and the biggest like PSA that you need to repeat to your players when they're playing It's a comp like red have you tell the con on members especially spend an APA don't stand together space out your carries don't have your carries stand together and and you know you won't get giant wombo combo because if they hit one of you and they're probably going to hit one of you Yeah, you just don't want you know red to get double value out of their engage So as long as APNs men have good spacing and then Vulcan can you know try and protect that to very least one of them with You know Alstar then they should be able to avoid the most dangerous part of the red comp Again, it's also going to require a big setup on the Dragon Soul. The warts here through the banana brush, the line brush towards mid. Make sure that you have good entry and set up here for the objective. But Cloud9, you always have the option, yeah, we can give them that dragon and if we see an angle to go there inside instead, then it's not as big of a buff for Red to grab the dragon as it is for you. You know objective to pick up but I do like that point that like you're the first dragon to red So it's not that bad at that point for C9 and if when you're on red side of the map also red currently on red side Easier to approach a dragon here. So let's see how they want to do it with that banana I would say kind of I want this fight those beds on three items. So Sivir Sivir is gonna melt here Maybe also get some chunk onto curse the C9 will now approach the control ward in that banana brush and C9 We'll clear that one out talked about the importance of that currently C9 are controlling that vision As dragon will be up in five seconds FMDs in the middle and he always joined fast with the heroic entrance But rather gonna have to give him somebody to hold on top of it could be cause a with the fate sealed available This is looking like red our setup for the fight. Vulcan is on a flank right now Sanitas will not walk down and join up with the team It's courage just jumping in and the hero's entrance doesn't land on anybody as Red just can't quite find the CC Vulcan front-lining for APA for Sven It's the Dragon's Soul the C9 and a teamfight wipe out top of it They're gonna chase that Rebello and Frosty No one falls on C9's side another clean ace for the boys in blue a double kill to APA to food And that's what you want from your Dragon's Soul teamfight Kobe Yeah, Cloud9 gonna take this one, Genghis, all the way to the Nexus. GG's for game number two, you have to imagine. They got a cannon wave right here. We got 20 second death timers still on red members. C9 with everybody strong are gonna start hitting these Nexus turrets and push for series point match point right here, right now. Now, C9 might have had a tough day one, but they're starting off day two on a high note. 2-0 to start the best of five. And a much better look this time around, Kobe. Game one, they lost the early game. They had to come back from a 3.5k gold deficit and find these clutch Vulcan Barred Olds to get them back into the game. This time around though, they controlled the early game. actually won the early game and that now makes two total times in LCS is being seen below in the early game mission account sandals as well but Kobe you're over at the PC what are we gonna take a look at here first I'll give you one guess as far as where that early game advantage came from and I'll give you a couple hints it starts with fan and then ends with a toes it does it does a triple kill for Mr. Than a toes. Okay, so the rumble here the first pick investment from cloud nine was used into Than a toes and you know correctly so so let's take a look at the scuttle crab all important scuttle crabs here in C9 games curse is going to go for it but I want to highlight what they did to cause they pushed him out 50% HP so APS the early route and then boom wombo combo guess what all of red stuff was used on One and a half people, they got Vulcan, who's Alistar with Alistar ult on, so who doesn't really count. And Cloud9 got massive value there, triple people in their combo, Blabber ult, into Thanatos ult, into APA damage over the top, and Vulcan combo with the Alistar as well. And so that's where this gold did explode from. I mean, just off that play, we had massive, massive gold lead for the rumble. We had all three grubs there for a blabber on top of the dragon and you know, even assists are very big for Victor early game because you can stack up your passive there and get your upgrades. And so it also accelerates Victor a lot. It's like this champion really wants to focus on farming. He's going to have easy time farming versus a Yone. But then you also get a bunch of take down assists and it just effectively accelerated both solo laners super well and the jungler. So that's why I I'm called Sanitas my MVP off of that play. I want to take it out of the game I'm saying player of the game for Thanatos. I'm not sure you thought I'd love to take a look at other team fights I've read almost one. You remember the team fight on the bottom side where red they were so close to actually closing it out But then blabber was able to get there on the fish at water kill at the end. I want to take another look at that one too here I got you I got you like I'll slow it then we can look at the setup So this is after cloud nine got their dragon. So they're recalling blabber over here So it's going to be distinct recalls and red take this opportunity because they have wards here good vision from them They go, oh, hey, this is our time to strike. Yeah cloud on our head 5-0 But look at this they start out cause it's gonna be able to flash out They get the Zinn ultimate to split them and then the teleport comes in so they can trap and have all five people head over So cloud nine they're trying to chase the kills here. Dan's was like, oh man, can't barely finish them off Curse we really want to finish this guy. We can't barely finish off the Zinn either because it goes back in nice Q knock-up into old knock-up combo off of that taunt there from Gallio And then APA is coming over and says bit of a scramble came this all these three low health members of red are slipping out And APA is trying to get in but he goes in between all of the members and Gallio is like oh, I'm not in a bad spot I can ult back to the rest of my team And so this play from red was really big that was their hope in this game Then they even kind of escaped here, but they decided to turn around afterwards So left inside this gal this Jarvan ult cause they sticks around. It's too dangerous like he has nothing to get out And so then those chunks him a little bit lower blabbers here the arrow barely shorts on Thanatos They really still want to make this like we're so close, but they lost track of blabber He walked past this ward and they just forgot about him So blabber assassinates they come back in and in the end. Yeah, they do kill that so say again another one but Blabber ends up getting his own set of kills here and they're even gonna feed this one. Look at this I always honor Vulcan. I think two really good games in a row. I agree with you though Yeah, then tell us player the game I'll give him for this one But Vulcan another honor will mention and he saves the kill for Blabber there, too So nicely done from caught nine here. They've been warming up at this tournament Can you before you leave go back to when APA was in no man's land there because I actually want to highlight something because it's easy in those moments to be like, oh, what's APA doing? But if you actually remind him before he's caught out, he sees Rebello. So he actually took the blast cone and was trying to push Rebello off. And it's one of those moments where like, at the moment that, so he sees the Varus and he's actually like tracking Rebello, because I think he can beat Rebello in the 1v1. And then he sees all these low health bars. He's like, okay, I'm just going to link up with the team. But then the play does not go because Frosty still had his ult. So I'm going to say, Justice for APA, it's a tough moment right there. like it looks goofy, but I understand what he's trying to accomplish in that moment. If you're just not keeping track of like, oh Frosty still has ultimate available, that's going to be a little rough. Alright, let's listen in on some cloud nine comms. I'm flashing, I'm flashing, I'm flashing, I'm flashing. I feel like we need to have that bot lane if you want. Yep, that's right, I guess so. Oh, thank you. Alright, coming down. Coming through you guys. Okay, I'm coming. Okay, I'm coming through. Okay. Oh, it's coming in? Yeah. Oh, I'm doing it? Yeah. I'm coming, I'm coming. Quadra kill. Nice. I'm coming. I love Blabber also even though he was dead there, he was still shot calling to that final fight kind of calling the targets and also the first replay when Thanos gets the triple killed is when he wasn't there but he was like we could kill bot lane now. So yeah, bot lane is looking good for a gank. Nicely done though. This one by far, Cloud9's best game at the tournament so far. Definitely was a rough start for them yesterday and even the opening game today as well, but this one, they're buckling down now, I guess. Yeah, best game in a while from them. I mean, they picked up that one game versus Lyon in the LCS lock-in finals, but still, That wasn't the form we expected from C9 in that finals overall, but this is the player that I think has been arguably one of the most consistent on C9, if not the most consistent on C9. Thanatos almost never loses his lane. I love seeing what this guy's able to do. Happy to give him player of the game. Player of the game again for Thanatos. Nicely done. And you got to put this on a map too. That's two wins for C9. So now we get two hats. I'm saving it until they win. You're saving it until they win. Okay. I'm going to put two hats on for the two wins. There we go. Congratulations to C9. We got we got the side by side. Okay. Yeah, I can give me a little ears. There we go Those are also known as horns also horns. Yeah, true. Well, then I got to get them kind of on the devilish All right. Well, that's it from us Before back for game three of the best of five No I Move it up, move it up, move it up, move it up I'm not sure if you have a cure, but I'm going to take all of this and I'm going to have to go back. I know that I have to die. Hello everybody and welcome back to the best of five between C9 and Red Candid's Colunga in the lower bracket. Winner continues on in the America's Cup. Loser will pack the bags and head home C9 to be a long flight red canids and trip around the block as right now C9 are up to Oh, Kobe Stringing it back to back when they were in the pressure seat coming into the series We got devil Kangus and his lucky shirt here. They can't see the horns again Since we sent it to break, but yes, I am wearing the lucky shirt Hey, and it has not dropped a game since I put this on I'm actually a believer now Yeah, so what we decided is you that shirt is very powerful. Okay, don't overuse it Yep, and I would say bring it out for when we really need it You know maybe like a Gen G win at first stand or something Focus back up here we got you Nari here Take away from Rebello. He loves his champion. They've been spamming it But Sven also, huge priority for Cloud9 has been Unara. They've done Unara, Lulu, Vulcan on many Enchanters. So, and they've got plenty of things open at the moment. He could just still go with the Lulu and, you know, grab a Meadliner for themselves for ABA. Ooh, there's a good response though. Yeah. The Mystic Thunder. Yeah, the Mystic Thunder combination. Ezreal and Karma Poke into Unara can be a root hole. This is how Sentinels beat Red Candidth. They were playing Mystic Thunder. Okay, okay. We got it back on screen here. There we go. The double horns. This is how Sentinels were able to beat Red Candidth in that game too. Because if you remember Red Candidth, the three-headed dragon. That's what the community often calls the way that they like to draft is usually these three threat compositions. And I could argue we saw some of that in game one, but I'll think a little less of it. with the GIN. I'm trying to remember last game even, but at least, you know, I'd say Ezreal's one of the threats that that counts right there And there's your Lulu, Kobe that you're talking about with Yanar, and there's an Annie for APA. Ooh I'm getting some flashbacks. Yeah, I mean, we'll see. I don't see an Ari ban It's only Saint's Ari. Okay, that was able to solo kill her. Not supposed to be able to do that but oh the mouth fight lock in here I mean mouth fight has very good value versus you Nara trying to as long as you place your ult correctly here you know I have to be a little bit careful with her old jump but now fight definitely very very good possibilities here if you get some poke damage down first with your Ezreal karma and then you get to choose your moment for the engage but But yeah, I mean, the Annie is, it was, I mean, it was rough. It was rough. It left a lot to be desired. Yeah, but clearly they put a lot of practice time into it. Both teams knew it. I mean, even before Cloud9 had locked it in, Lion had banned it in the previous game, and then they were hovering over it a bunch in the final game right before the RE answer into it. So Cloud9, let's see round two here for the Annie. for the Annie usually you want any Wukong redemption Annie usually you want any Wukong and looks like red did not ban off the band Wukong or anything so honestly no reason to deviate everyone's like oh man why is it always the same well it's because they work really well together because Wukong is not only just an AD jungler but you have to think about merc tread value when you're playing Annie and so you don't want stunts you don't want an AD jungler that only stuns you want knockups Wukong has perfect AoE knockups and AD damage typing So that's the reason why they work so well together so frequently It just gives you crazy engage for a teamfight and then you know our Lulu can follow up with another knockup with a Lulu ultimate So it's a lot of good synergies if Cloud9 can finish out their comp that way I don't expect any deviation and you know just grab there grab their Wukong And then they're gonna have to blind fit for Thanatos because the mouth fight Very highly probable is going into the jungle or could be flexed, but what do we think about this though? It's cause a I'm assuming on the Tristana. Yeah, so the AD matchup into Annie in the mid lane now Yeah, he had it before so I mean it's it's pretty good first Annie if you can get a level 6 mouth Like ganking true. Yeah, because as long as you can farm early and then you just wait on your jungle timing And you can, you know, rocket jump in as your Malfi just, Malfi ults in and you just burst her down. But you, you gotta, you get worried a little bit early maybe. We'll see about the early stages. I will say I'm a big fan of the Gunblade Kennen. Despite the Kennen nerfs, I still really, really like Gunblade Kennen. The nerfs are pretty painful as far as their ultimate cooldown later on into the game. But this champ is so good for the duration of lane phase and a lot of the mid-game. And then you still get very impactful ults and teleports and planks later on. And so, you got 1-2 punch, mouth fight and cannon. Definitely a scary engage. Scary to engage his mouth fight into something like the trundle though. That might just be a one-way journey. But the rest of the comp, I don't know if I love trundle into something like Ezreal Karmak. karma because you get the one pillar, but Ezreal can still kind of kite back and You get slowed and rooted by the karma and it's gonna be hard to get on the carries But I like it into like the front line and what's coming into you also think about Having to mark a cannon later pillars really really good at stopping cannon true So it's not always about what are you gonna do initially? But like what can you do to counter what your opponents want to do? Good call and so yeah cloud nine they do they do have some good like counters to what their opponents want to do also in addition to having the, you know, the Annie engaged, but since they didn't go for the, you know, Wukong type pairing with it, it does mean it's a lot on APA. Like that is your whole engage. He has to have good engages because Trundle Pillar is a bump and it's slow. It's not a true knockup. It's like they can bump you to the side a little bit. It can slow the ante, so he can get in range, but yeah definitely expecting a lot on the shoulders of APA on his birthday as a win here will not only mean a 3-0, but a mean C9 continue in the lower bracket and can redeem themselves. Potentially later in this tournament against Furia, who put them here depending on how the Sentinel-Sphere match goes later as... I will... mouth fight right across the screen there. That was awesome! That was hilarious. Malphite's home guard run is pretty funny too. Yeah, he's got the little pet behind him as well. That was great Sorry on the top side right here's both Actually, it's just the mouth I plus the cannon in that top side now Curse heading back to his top camps meanwhile blaber looks like he's gonna be starting on the bottom camp So we will for the first time have opposite pathing junglers in the first clear Yeah, I mean There's a couple problems for them to deal with and you can't deal with all the problems all the time, right? You've got an Ezreal Karma push poke lane bottom lane, and you've got a Kennen bully lane on the top lane. Thankfully, at least you know Kennen is Flash teleport and he's not like extra combat summoner spell up there, but still is very annoying to deal with even for a Gwen who is it's one of Thanatos's favorite champions as well. Definitely high ranking in his tier list. It's Venn and Vulcan. They played a lot of the Unara Lulu and using their shields effectively very early on here, so doing pretty well for themselves. FnB though using the brush. Always want to dodge in to the brush, drop your minion aggro. Looks like Kaze missed one of those otters right there in the trade, so APA actually trading up. I want to note that Venn also used the Ghost, Vulcan used Heal in the bot side. So yes, they haven't looked very good on this combo so far, but this is a slight lead early on for Frosty and Ravello as their jungler will be passing down towards them. See, they know it. They have the ward on the raptor, so they should have it in their mind that curse could be coming. Exactly. They should have the timer there. And you know that a Malphite walking at you is going to need like a wraparound to come from pretty far behind or something to get in range for Q, and unless the karma can actually land a tether on you, then you should be fine just dealing with it with Ross Bells here, with Unara and Lulu. They can kind of respect it, just walk back and kite back. So I think Sven and Vulcan should be fine not dying to any early gank this time around. And first time that I've seen them curse on a pick that isn't able to go for a super effective early game gank, so far it seemed the name of the game has been set himself up for more explosivity outside I suppose the knock turn that we saw but even then he was still making early gameplays happen. Now in the top lane here FNB is still using this range advantage to his advantage not a big CS lead yet but he is out trading to Anastasio has to use the potion to help keep him in lane while Blavver will go for a cheat little invade drop a ward on the raptors. And pop the surprise bloom and it's got a little bit of time to utilize why he's just It's just kind of waiting for the Krug respawn timer. So, camp here, see if there's anything open, then go for your recall at your second clear. No problem for him. So, get your first purchase, get back to Krugs, right on time, and similar story for Malfi, though. Kirst is gonna do the exact same. Kirst has brought a control ward too, though. I was gonna mention the fact that the different speed, actually, we'll get back to that. It's Frosty, they're gonna big-track a damage right there, but Rebello firing onto his van. That's Flash out of the Yanarra. Bliber's in the neighborhood and will look to back up his bot lane. Vulcan taking big chunks of damage here, but will save his Flash for now. Bliber does not commit to the game. It is a bit dangerous though, I can't guess. Little worrisome. If that's how they land the Flash for, the root is there. Rebello with the Skype and Vulcan body block, said. Oh, that was close. That essence flux had to pop, that would have been a lot of damage. Yeah, it's still close. Even though Blabber is here, their bot lane is so low, it's not like you can just fight them off as red. Yeah, they do, they just stand on the ground, they fight. So the poke lands, they get a turret play here. They did invest Frosty's Flash to do it. Now Blabber could look for his own wraparound, but now we'll decide to back off. They're so low already, dude. Yeah. Oh, he's coming back, he's coming back, they're doing it. Oh man, if they had enough. It's still scary as Venn's trying to heal back up, Blavver will pop the ice domain, and then Reg is back off to Rebello and Frosty, they find themselves a big lead in the bottom side in Summoner spells. Yeah, good poke landing from them to get the angle there, but they ended up using their own flash there too, so Frosty did use his flash to make sure he can land the Q and the tether, and it was because Vulcan blocked that Vendin died. Yeah, and I'll actually amend the statement. It actually feels kind of fine. The fact that they didn't get the kill. Because Sven not having flashed these A's are not being fine. Yeah. But now it's one of those like, it's fine. It's fine. Yeah. Oh, good, it's fine. It's stressful. But actually, it is fine, as Sven was able to get a lot of that CS anyway. So fancy looking from red, but not going to amount to much. Maybe with their priority, they can get this dragon, though, as Curse will start this up. Lapras on the top half, so no contest from C9. Yeah, definitely don't expect there to be, um, Blabber has to clear up to his top side. He already used a lot of time hovering around and, uh, so his second clear is, it's weird because it's a little split since he did Krugs first and so his respawn timers will be a little off, but looks like, I mean, he's, he's gotta be aware, right? Like it's level six Malfide, Malfide's got the crab, so, Blabber knows like he He's outpaced a bit in the jungle. Rope? Yeah. It's okay. They won the last game, even despite not getting it. Is it a good thing actually? Maybe the crabs are the curse. I'm getting very superstitious from this tournament specifically. Nothing has to do with the actual players in the game. all about the things that have occurred around it. The magic, some would say. The intangibles. Yes, the intangibles. But I do like the magic as well here. And the rotation of the solar system. The planets. It's uh, it might have to do with the mouth fight ult though. It might have to do with the mouth fight ult. So first step is gotta clear out the wards. But this is the play we're looking for. It's like all right if you make mid lane dark and then you go put some fresher on Annie and blow the any flash even blowing any flash is really big value so good hover here because they just cleared the ward blabber knows all right I'll just hover around if they go for anything I got you APA blabber has this short window here in the bottom side as well because red are continue pushing up no flash on ward on the pixel brush so they see blabbers approach now it's up to the bot lane for C9 to get in range the pillar goes out on the Propstein, no flash as you said and that is a dead support on your screen. First blood picked up by C9 and they're gonna gift it to Sven. It is really, really worthwhile too, especially with first blood because the bonus XG3, after you're cold, getting put back on it, leave that to Sven, corral the karma inside the back of the pit, and there you go, the wrap around from Blabber all the way through enemy jungle, All the way through around and they do kangus end up punishing the offensive flash You knew as soon as he's walking down there coming to flash that's our kill target good tiller. It's all takes They knew exactly what the target was and see now we're able to execute on that So now red on the back foot here in the bottom lanes been with that reset now has the recurve bow plus completed boots the sheen and the stanking tier plus a couple long swords from Rebello so stanky tier dang that's messed up stacking stacking tier is it a stank tier before it stacks though like it's not it's not complete yet I think it's clean I'd say yeah you know it's like it's I don't think it can hold much smell cuz it looks kind of like watery you know it's just liquid liquid has smell Kobe yeah but it's like very clean you know it's just straight blue if it was like all the toilet work if it was low I don't think that would be like water that would be like clean bar though that'd be like chem chem tech soul color water true true all right I think the tears are perceived clean okay odorless odorless tears odorless tears I'm stuck or stacked your tears have a smell now I am thinking about the rock thing right now I want to think about how curse is gonna approach these a grub flibber started them up and incomes fnb Blibber will get one. Now two big ultimates available. The unsolved focus goes out. FnB with a stun follow-up and Blibber just goes down. No slicey maelstrom needed. Alphite, baby. Whoa. He's got, especially when you get your Zeke's, like, you're that close to a target. It's crazy to flash something like that. Like, you're so close. It's like, oh, you have to have crazy good timing or something. So, if he's point blank, you just put your ult on the other side. Boom. He gets the kill and with your Zeke's slow completed already too. Ain't no way Trunbel's getting out of there. So nice. Nice kill here. Nice snipe. Lever did get one grub though, so it's not going to be the three grubs picked up by Red. Okay. You know, it's still two and dragon. So objectives stacking nicely for Red despite the early first blood. Ooh, APA big burst on the Kazi who opted in to that trade. Riding jumps forward and APA was ready with the tippers so that's an ult down for Annie because he still has his available It's gonna be interesting to watch too because the engage is so fragile from 5-9 APA's flash cooldown is hugely hugely important to their team success overall and You know him having malignance of course is gonna make the old cooldown really short now afterwards He did just use it. Yeah, so it's not going to count for the one that he just used but Okay, he's able to get away with the old empowered a dash there So no ultimate available for Sven if they want to go for a dragon fight now five seconds so that spawns vengeance going to catch this wave and Probably look for a reset now. So red actually have an opportunity now It was then gonna go for the reset. He will not have old even if he does show up Do they want to go for their second dragon? Yes, sir, they do and I think they're gonna get it. I don't see any reason to plan on to walk in there Yeah, so, you know Nobody wants to face like a mouthfinal first two dragons to red for sure The question is gonna be can see nine get enough gold to feel like they're confident for the setup Moving forward because they haven't really been able to trade these dragons for anything It's just like oh red just gonna get them As the the second dragon that has like crazy the third dragon isn't even necessary to contest But that soul could be strong. It's mountain soul. So when you're looking at this Annie is the primary engage You're just not gonna be doing any damage with that burst if they are All the way to mountain soul. I think it's cooked for cloud night So I would do something about the third soul wait a minute third dragon Trondle can steal their stats though, you know, I'll give more stats that would turn will get some Sven right now Meanwhile the shields often As well as that's a bigger problem with the soul, it's not the two dragons that give you the stats But that is another heel used by Vulcan there to keep Sven safe now under the turret And we catch any waves I feel like as Venn is still gonna be one of the main characters here for C9 when it comes to these fights Hey, we're starting it, but you know, I was the one that's gonna finish it more often You know, he's always a main character. Good, uh, good little trade, Electroke Brock there from APA. Once again, they're trying to get some mid lane parryo as Blabber just kind of crosses over. But, you know, Thanatos also been farming fairly evenly versus the Kennen matchup. Wow! They saw Blabber leave the lane, so it's pulled a trigger on APA. Oh, the pillar! Keeping him alive! No APA! One more out of him cause he got the reset and finds the kill. I mean, while bot side, they were able to find a push in there and a trade in the mid lane, APA for Kazze's life and a kill on the Rebelo to boot. Okay, Shrondle doesn't have many mechanics, but Blaver, that was exquisitely played. That was so well played. He immediately, APA first, you know, let's shout him out for using his stun onto the Tristana, the big damage source that you can get him off delayed a bit. He stuns the damage source and then he flashes away to try and get out of range of mouth fight. up going down and Blabber delays by pilloring and creating some space for him and then focusing and reflashing. Blabber's flash on the Tristana ult and he could still stay in range and he got the kill over there. I mean really nicely played. Trunnel doesn't have a lot of mechanics but your pillar and your flash are and your target choice are the things that you have so nicely done. I think the Subjugate got the kill at the end here. Yeah, let's see what happens. Okay, so they go in on Sven. Sven pops his ultimate into the Lulu knockup. It's just... Yep. Red just killed them. Are we watching Diablo here? He's back to the end. He's flashing forward with the Lulu auto. Oh, looking good. I like that. Okay, so here. APA, good reaction. Stun the damage source. Flash away. Even with thing on. And then Blabber. He goes. He pillars. so that the Tristana ult knocks him into the wall and he can stay in the fight. And then with the tippers being able to stay on Tristana, Tippers gets enraged after the anti-dies. And they got Kaze again. I mean we just came back from replay. Kaze is dead and we just saw Tippers there on the bottom side. So I assumed that they just picked Kaze back to back. Yeah, that was a close play in the mid lane though. The Tippers following up for the actual kill. Plus the subjugate damage on top of it. on top of it so red are giving a couple of these kills over to C9 who are getting them onto their carries APA now two one and zero is then with a kill as well yeah that was nice you know our ultimate dash in for the Lulu knock up and then flash forward to you for another one who is here comes curse they have a TP coming in from Kaze yet again into the waiting arms of lab or another clutch pillar right there but APA could be in some trouble as curse is still focused up on him saved the ultimate cooldown and we'll pick up a kill nice Nice job from Kirst there. He gets level 11 on Malfight off that too. They get their kill this time around on APA. They know, no flash on the Annie. He's not getting away this time so... Little bit of a... Oh wow, that is painful. That was a lot more damage than I expected from one auto from Sven. It had to have been the extra damage from the Kraken Slayer. And Slaver is still on Kaze right now. Chomps over, now the Pillar used... Oh, but the reset was there for Kaze. Blabber not finding the interrupt. Yeah, nice reset because I don't get some supper out with the double jump And they'll just pick up the wave so now it's up to a pretty healthy 2k Goldly 4-5-9 and Dragon number three if they get their resets now It's about 30 seconds ahead of time to have plenty of time to get your wards and get back in place for the vision Here's a look at the start. Yeah, let's take a look at the start control ward in the brush Maybe that will mean something and just shields right in on it or wow Wow! Can analyze that, can't just analyze that. You press the R and then Q and then W. Jeez. Yeah. And they're like, you give damage, that's pretty good. And I give damage. There might have been an auto in there. I didn't catch it, but either way, APA does have that damage on him right now. He do have that damage. Yeah. It's about time for this third dragon. We were wondering if C9 would start to contest and it seems like they're confident enough to do it now as they will fight for priority around division in the river well as mid lane push red have not started it up yet they do have cannon in this bottom side into APA it is last to it could be scary although you got to respect that I was outside with no teleporting the one who want to get sanatose you now just jump straight in on top of him needlework but a double a jump from Kazi gets him back to safety it's an even for though because uh dance house doesn't have to help for either so let's see a fair fight oh it's man he follows it up with a slice of maelstrom on top losing here in order to start the battle is not what c9 wanted red to find their target hers is not full it's man yeah it's not full it's like that's the early flash but yeah I'm gonna predict this thing boom not fight all nice all from curse said no he was too far up and he was like all about my oldest coming that's coming it's come in and hit it. Nice one. We'll give him a curse. And that will get the third dragon for red. It seemed like that was the time that C9 were ready to actually contest it. But losing your AD carry means that there's no shot at a steel red now on Dragon's old point. Yeah. You just got too antsy here, man. And then you knew it was like, ah, too close here. But it's a really good positioning of your ult from first, you know. You put it to this side so you can get them either way. It's like, I predict you or you get clapped anyway. The only way is that Sven flashes further into his team or away from Sven's team. Either way, that's bad. Yeah. So well played by Curse right there. C9 still has a gold lead even though they gave up that third dragon and now they just cracked another outer turret here, this time the mid one. So, red job's not done, but they're in a good spot to get that dragon soul. Three dragons, you get mounted soul and all of a sudden, see that are like, oh man, I don't really kill anyone. Work a lot. And 18 and a half minutes, Harold is now being targeted here by C9. So Red, they saw four minutes before they got to go for that dragon fight, which could make or break their entire tournament. Remember, if they lose a game here to C9, Red, Candid's, Kalunga are out of America's cup. Their backs are against the wall right now. So that's a lot of pressure going into this one last fight. Yeah, we are in the loser's bracket at the moment. Must win series for either team. FNB though, winning it in the sideline versus Vanitos. Something that we haven't seen so far is the top lane action. Not a lot has happened between the Gwen and the Kennen, but FNB now utilizing that range advantage and has the rocket belt as well. So we haven't really seen like a big team fight Slacy Milstrom, there's that pick on his vent in the mid lane, but I red have the tools and they have the ability to actually execute in these fights as well. We know what they're capable of. Yeah, they're capable of deleting Sven. And they didn't have to use the cannon to follow up, not by all last time to do that. So they can do it in the next team fight. Good early position here. I think it should be fairly calm, though. No reason to overextend. Like Cloud9 should not be offering up any opportunities here. Sven has no flash, so just play safe. Hover back, not by his creep input. I'm not getting nervous right now, Kobe. Sven has no flash. Curse was looking at him. Yeah, he pops the ultimate again, empowered. Jump away. Vulcan tanks up the two-shot barrage. Sven now! Oh! He dodges it that time! Curse not able to knock up the AD carry, and now he's slowed down by Vulcan, plus the pillar from Blabber that Chase continues onto the Malphite. Flash away from Curse. Subjugate damage is taking him down, but he does escape. Also, Teresana left top lane to come try and join this. So, Santos is going to push in. Now, he's going to crack the crystals here, get a turret plate. It's one of the nice things about top lane, and any side lane in general nowadays, new season feels good to get a little bit of a lone time like that, one wave plus a little turret plate, nice chunk of money. You don't need to take the entire turret to get rewarded for just staying there. Santos has been falling behind of FNB, but that'll help him get a little bit more in his pocket. But that was another moment where he's playing on the edge right now. If he gets hit by that Malfide ultimate, that could have gone way worse for C9. Yeah, they try to get the chase down. They're like, all right, Blabber's here in the wing, so maybe we can get a little pillar. And blowing Malfide Flash, it's something to be said, because when Malfide is flashing, it flashes closer to you to ult. Then it also makes that nice edge that you're dancing on even harder to stay on, or land on the right side of. And so, a meaningful cooldown that they're able to earn. Whiff for Feral, they get the top tower, rest of it. I like this from C9, we have a minute and 15 till Dragon. This is a really clean window to drop to Herald. Take that last outer turret here, get some more gold on Sven, and we can reset to now look at contesting this Dragon. Because this is going to be arguably the most impactful moment of this game. Dragon's soul for red could get them back into it. And C9 have a bit of a gold lead, almost 3k in their favor right now. Very tanky trundle now too. Blabberdust finished spirit visits. So a lot of healing and shielding there. On a team that also has Lulu for the trundle to keep him alive. So Trinity Force, big bruiser trundle. He's gonna be a wrecking havoc. You can't really ignore that type of, you know, that type of threat. So even though it's not a like traditional front line tank, It can provide a lot of threat. Everybody's looking at Sven though, of course, and they should be. It's got double summoner spells and ult ready. His flash is back. Sane cannot be set for curse, but Vanito's actually no flash available on the Gwen as he finds himself all alone in the dragon pit. C9's top laner picked off at the crucial moment. Dragon, Jess, Vaughn, this is Red Soul. C9 and a 4v5, they're just gonna back off and get the soul over. What the... TREAD YOUR TIMING! What the frick is Wakobi was about to say right there? Oh, and no Baron attempts either. They're not even gonna try the trade. Just poor timing for them, it's supposed to be in that position. There's a long lane too, we even have a tower there. We gotta stop giving this guy a play of the game. I feel like there's always a cool-down out there. I'm fulking only for now, I'm fulking only. We're believing in superstitions again. Okay, C9 are gonna try and defend in the mid lane right now, but that mount's so hard to get through. Now they have a teleport lane coming in from Thanos and Gage from Curse. Follow-up by Kao, they flash and fall down the fence. You know, the trouble-fancy maelstrom from FFB will close him off. Double kill to the cannon, as Red absorbs the engage from C9 and flippin' right back on him. Are you gonna get a clean ace at the close? God, they will go down. C9 get one, and a big needlework for Venatos will chunk down the rest of Red. Lever's still almost full health here as the true shot barrage dodged by the Gwen. Okay, Red find themselves another one. I think they win the game, bro. I mean, get a Mountain Soul here versus this. I think Red just did it. I mean, Mountain Soul back to back team fights down. They come up, they get a bunch of extra gold. Tristana is scaling. Tristana here with the extra range from all these levels. Flickerblade is done. I mean, this looks really good for Red. Even though the gold is very close, Cloud9 have been backed into a corner. They do have DPS champions as well, So they're not all burst just because they have Annie. You know, they have a UNR with Lulu. They have a Gwen. So it's still fightable for Cloud9. But it feels like the momentum for Red is just so big. Take down to a Karmor. It feels really good right now when they got it. C9 capitalized on every team's weakness. The Enchanter support walking up for vision. Red full victim to it is now bearing down the table for C9. Just on a self-porting end. They're going to fight this. 4B5, Cloud9 power play. Can they do it? Curse still has the ultimate available. ABA fighting them on the side. Now Fanatouc looks at the Malfi. Blaber's back onto the Baron. Curse, Olsen has been beaten with a nice Malfi from behind the flanking cannon. It gets on him. Blaber still alive with a wild growth. If they can push away from Kha'Zan on the side, it's all about the trundle, but he cannot win it. Red pushed C9 off the Baron. They didn't need their karma. They just needed C9 to clump up for their ultimates. They'll take the team fight and the Baron. That was beautiful from Red. I mean, Kirst is such a Chad. Like, FNB teleported in, he's flanking around on Kenny. He's like, I don't care if they're on me. Even though Gwen went straight for the enemy jungler onto the mouth fight, trying to cut through him with magic damage, Kirst does not care. He makes a beeline for them. Mouth fight ult into Kennen ult, and Red are going to stomp now. So big of a gold swing. Huge stuff. I mean, it's a dream combo. from one side, Kennen comes sliding in from the other side. They're already like shredded up a bit by Baron. Yeah. Very nicely done by Red to kind of put that door closed on what we felt like was there kind of, oh here we got another pick. Tana Toast in the side lane yet again. Things could go from bad to worse for C9. They're losing the team fights. They're losing the side lane pushes as well. And it's so many members from Red overloading onto Tana Toast. He's looking for a trade on the FNB and gets close, but not close enough. Revello with the kill credit. Red trying to make it to sideline. Yeah, I mean, they've been making sideline picks all over the place and actually picked off Vantos that even started to get the free jagged soul. So, another big one, but this is just useful. Chris goes in, C9 has kept people on baron. I thought I saw was hey when it's go push mouth fight out the rest of us will stay on bearing and Try and force this but with the cannon flank it just they just get demolished. They don't rip the parts and curse I love the energy from the curse. He just walks up through the Gwen I don't care when it's on me right past them mouth by though and again and all beautiful and the Baron never unleashed either Curse was like this much held but Baron was at like 4k so he could still walk up. Thank you boy. Yeah Oh, all righty, well... There's one at five games, Genghis. They wanted five games. We both predicted five games, and it seems like we're gonna get it. Save red, throwing a massive lead into Cloud9's waiting hands. We could get one final fight here still, but if you're looking at the walls, you're looking at the stats. It is all red right now. See Jeff another turret here, engage comes in from Kursk, Bob-Bob is the ultimate, subcigate on the curtsmeade, and he has to jump back to safety. That was not engaged. Red was looking for his men. Almost has enough damage for the kill. Wild growth will keep him alive. But the Tristana damage being felt right now is then has to back off. They did not kill the Malfight. Yeah, with the Baron, they could keep up the siege here. I don't know. That was looking pretty good for Unara damage. It was. But then, then, then was cooking. Ooh. Hey, B, it's getting chunked out right now. Remember, he is the primary engaged. Flash is available on Annie if you find somebody out of position you can look for it But the rebellious is landing this poke and the Ezreal is had three items. He hurts at this point Yeah, a lot of them do okay, so Wow, I'm not showing maybe You know they can find an angle if they can get an isolated person with Trandall old on them and spend hitting then they definitely have damage I mean it with how that fight was starting I think that's about the best you could hope for if it's a front to back is that curse holds too far in and his team wasn't quite ready to follow him up as now a TP coming in from Thanatos this is elder dragon this is fnb on a flank C9 do not see the cannon yet actually maybe you spotted up by the control ward and that person actually did spot the cannon Thanatos is on top of them pushes them back the rest of red approaching onto blabber c9 have to approach this so carefully read they just need to find the right targets the right flanking members as fnb is still watching what they target on his back api can't get in range in time c9 are sacking waves for this they need to find magic they need to find a miracle they're sneaking around I mean we saw you going that push though api they Definitely know you're there. Kaze's mid. Kaze's on Tristana. He can actually just end the game. If C9 don't make a fast play here, they're gonna use the trundle pillar on the curse. FnB's still waiting in the wings as APA's looking at him, but there's no CC to lock down the mouth pipe. C9 will chase him back, but Kaze is still peppering down this mid turret. Sven jumps over the wall. Sven goes crazy right now, and Reg is... Don't answer the bluff! The rock roof from Svete Flashes. FnB will close him out as Rovello on touch right now. Now a double kill for FNB, C9. They were looking for a miracle. They did find it there as Kaze links up with the rest of Red. It's Flavrin' Vulcan running back to the Alcove in the bottom lane, but it's Red hunting them down. A double kill for Rebello. As the portal combat will go the way of Frazier, the true shopperage will get the triple to Rebello instead and another one team fight for Red Cannon. GZ! Red are gonna take it. I mean, gang, it's used to use that. I mean, that was basically a desperation play for file nine. They know, all right, Tristan is just going to destroy our base and we don't force something. So they try and force by like, you know, Sven dashing. It's like, we have to force, we have to force. I got to go in to try and make the fight us. And red, they had enough. They pull the collapse down. They actually get the cannon flanked, pinched once again. It's gonna be elder on top. And that'll be enough for them to finish. Just waiting for the cannon to get back up. You can also get it. Make sure everyone on the team has the Elder Dragon buff. I gotta say, I don't know if we'll have a chance to take a look at the replay. Actually, we do. I don't know what it's meant to be. So he just jumps in. Yeah, they're just trying to force it. He's literally throwing his face at them to try and force the fight. And then after he was like, okay, fine. We will take the fight. I'll come from the other side. And it's all because, yeah, you know, Shisano is pushing me. They're like, this is our only hope? Yep. this comp from behind into the Mountain Soul when Annie's your only like reliable engage in his checking FNB on the side instead. Not many options for C9 to continue the chase there and the crowd is behind Red Canids Kalunga. They'll use their elder dragon, back resets, then the gold goes straight to the bearer and that is both game-ending objectives picked up by Red Canids. You gotta imagine this game is just cooked right now. C9, hey they they're up in the series but they're gonna have to work a little harder to close this one out of here. Yes, they are. I mean, there's still some work to be done this game. How much do you believe, Kengis? In dreams, in miracles. Again, we haven't been getting more superstitious as the cast has gone on, but when it comes to this gold lead, I'm a bit of a fragmentist. The mouth-like shield is so hard to break. Any of the shields, Sven had been hitting him for like five seconds. He just flashed and gated on to APA. Utilizing him. Well, the Dragon Bomb. But APA lives! The Wild Booth! The Canadian Sensation Vulcan will go down. But he kept his mid laner alive. Double kill, though. That's what he will also claim as Venn. Stuns up Lapper. APA with the stun as well. Because he's jumping in. Interrupted by the pillar. But Red has a bear and a powered wave. It was well fought from C9 at the end. But an ace to Red. Can it's Kalunga. But we're going to Game 4. Well done from Red. I mean, I'm kind of between Curse and FNB for a player of the game. Both of them were critical and extremely big ulties from both of them. I think maybe I go with FNB. I'm getting. I was about to say I think I would go Curse for the simple fact that he got double crabs away from Blabber. Remember, I don't expect a Malphite to be able to actually get that first crab and fight for it But he was able to pick that one up. But if you want to beat me and say FNB, I have no issue with that I'll leave that one to you because I think that those are Like chat tiebreaker Well, he pulls up some replays. Kobe, what do we take a look at here? Well, let's just jump in and see I'm gonna look at some bottom lane action here first because bottom lane started out well for cloud for cloud nine I mean this is the one where they jump in on Sven and he tumbles for the double knockup for Lulu and then he's gonna flash to finish the kill and then they get the they get the kill on to bottom lane which was quite big for them meanwhile it was also the same exact timing for that mid fight so we had two really critical fights here in the beginning of the game that were pretty fun to watch so I am seeing FNB By the way, a lot of FNB lobs, we're going to go with FNB then as the tiebreaker for player of the game there. Alright, so here is the mid lane one that I'm talking about where they start out, they ult on APN, you're like, oh my goodness, is he going to just die to the explosion? He stuns Kaze to delay the time, they're working on him, Blaber comes to try and peel, and Blaber is able to peel with the ulti. with the ulti, cause he flashes and then Blabber flashes cause he knows that Tristana is going to try and ult him and then the enraged tibbers chases him down for the kill. But then there were so many big plays here. I think we go deep into this dragon. Which one is this one going to be? There was a lot of action. Oh, here's the one. Actually, let's investigate Thanatos. Yeah, yeah, what's going on? Thanatos investigation time! Alright buddy, what is he doing leading up to this dragon? We're looking at dragon timer mountain souls coming up So he's gonna be a good top laner and push out the sideline here Yes, I believe this is where they just dropped the herald top and get that turret and then reset Okay, so he's warden up. They're prepping for the dragon, but like no bro. We're ahead of time and he like he knows The whole team is here. Yeah, they've got this is cloud nine. Oh, no They're looking right at him. They're staring at him. So he knows they're here. They're here danger danger Yeah, he's just too confident clearing these wards and then walking this way Unfortunate error from Thanatos right there. Sometimes you just get you know too focused on oh, there's something to hit right there Let's clear out this control ward because we're setting up vision around the objective But that that was so like this was the moment for red there was a goalie for C9 here They were winning the team fights up until this moment, but one pick and then dragon soul meant that scene I never want to fight after this Yeah, that I mean you have to though like you still have to and you have to try and fight You know the Baron and stuff and so they still had a chance Genghis. Yeah, the chance was here Take a look at this pick Because they did they did get one for themselves Blabber you clear the war and you go camp here. He's waiting. He's waiting. He's waiting boom Sven jumps in they get the pillar they get the pick that's our hope So even though they have Mountain Soul you've got some DPS champions. Sven used his ult though Yeah, it's one of the big things for a team fight No, you know our old for the incident that's why red are confident here and then look at this FNB our player of the game Planks around. Let's look at red vision. Boom. Boom. He's coming in also my shout-outs honorable mention here to curse Yeah, curse at a really good game boom He gets the you know, and the Lulu same thing perfect timing FNB is in Kenan right into the middle got big burst here. They split them both up even with the Lulu there. It's been got deleted before Lulu was even able to able to follow it up so Huge stuff there for Kenan. I mean was that a Did you see a visual bug here on the ulti or what? I couldn't quite tell there actually Yeah, I didn't see the slicing mails from go down. I'm almost positive Yeah, it is up. Look at the timer too. It just came up. So it's a spectator bug, but I was like, wait a second, it's on right now. Yeah, that's why Sven dies. Yeah, let's take our word for it. And that was a triple kill, plus again, cause they beat an APA on the side. And I don't know, Kobe, at this point, I might be saying we need a couple more, you know, scrim blocks in the tank for APA's Annie. It doesn't feel like the team is playing to its strengths well enough, Especially if it's gonna be primary engaged like that last fight as well when His van is just jumping into the mouth fight APA is marking the cannon as like the only one with the engaged I find it hard to put some more focus on APA when it was like In the mid one they like blew a lot of Sven resources and then and then Thanos getting picked out on that side So yeah, I mean there's several things to look at. Yeah But I would say some of the more critical things are getting picked off in sidelines. Yeah, that's a good point And you know what else I just realized Kobe. What did you realize they lost walls? I Can this shirt off we're not wearing this shirt anymore now the shirts curse again and pick was great And he went for the proto bill bill to have more mobility instead of going for the for the gunblade You know build and he did super well in lane It is, you know, he got the counter pick, but he performed super well in lane, performed super well in the team fights and won them the critical kind of like save that Baron. Yeah, I well earned 12, 1 and 5 insane damage for minute as well. And that was nothing with the Summoner Spell like ignite topside, right? He still took the TP. So shadow FNB, shadow Red Ganon, it's going to forgive us a series. It's not going to be a sweep in this elimination best of five. We're going to send it to a short break before we're back with game number four right after this. All right, we are back everybody for game four of this best of five. That's right. Red canada's Kalunga picked up a game versus C nine. It was looking solid and then one pick in the sideline. Kobe was all the candidates needed for us to get Kalunga for them to to get a Dragon Soul and then they also needed a Malfight and Kennen Ultimate at the Baron to win the game. Yeah. Cause that one was quite the combo. I like that, that was pretty good. Solid, solid combos and since we are getting superstitious here at America's Cup, I have taken off the, what I thought was the lucky shirt. I'm trying out a different shirt now. We're gonna see if this one brings any more luck. But what else should we keep in mind for that, Kobe? Was it the hats? I was wearing two hats that entire time. Maybe that was it. Maybe like, keep in mind the positioning of our opponents. Oh. Don't go into the tri brush and river right before Dragon Soul is going to spawn. I hear that is unlucky to do that. It was indeed very unlucky for Thanatos. All right, well, we'll hope that Thanatos at least learned his lesson as we're going into draft for game number four. We got the music back too. It's my favorite part of this big fan so far. It's just the vibes. I like it. I like it. Fantastic. C9 are going to be first pick. Red candidates are on a blue side. So we'll see what that first pick priority is for C9. As the further and further we get into fearless draft in these best of fives, sometimes the whack here of the comps can look. C9 banding away the ash. It's always that Akali respect for Kaze. And the Silas respect for Kaze as well. Even though Malphite's off the table, the classic Silas counter, it's going to be instead just respecting the Kaze. We'll pull that out in many situations. Mid lane's getting a little thin here too, as far as the picks, you know, with even game four in Fearless, you start to draw a little bit, plus some picks like, oh, Niko support, APA also plays in mid. Oh, Galio top, Galio could also be like a mid lane pick, and that's been used up, so. While these things starting to whittle down here, and the respect of Zig's target and Akali target remain between these two mid laners. They're like, ah, don't want to fight into that. If we go to game five, I think they should gentlemen's agreement handshake. Let that bump. Yeah, we get six and a colleague. I'm down. I have to be awesome. I am super down. Mundo, meanwhile, locked in for C9 here. He's scaling. He's scaling. We're power clearing, and we're scaling, and we're pushing. Mundo, though, yeah. Mundo is definitely big in later fearless drafts, because they end up not being a lot of answers. So, Trendle's off the table, tanks immediately get better. Interesting, Ivern here. I haven't seen this one in a minute, but I do like it. Let's see, Rebello then, I mean, you wanna be on like a hyper carry when there's an Ivern on your team, so. How much of Phelios has he played? Jinx is available, yeah, Phelios is still good. Jinx and Kaisa though, I think are really good with it. Um, and they are gonna have engage on bottom side too when a your jungler is the enchanter You need to get your primary engage elsewhere and solo player will do wonders So they got the lockdown their primary engage They got an enchanter to keep a hyper carry safe and healthy and APA meanwhile on C9 side does get a More comfortable pick for himself here. He has been more notable for his is here. They're blinding their solo laner Yeah, double blind solo laners here, but because these, a lot of the answers have been taken out and Deantosnar is a specialty and it feels confident in all remaining matchups here, not a lot of like, unless you wanted to do a Yasuo hard counter, something like a lane counter. I mean, Yorick is fine, but it's not like a hard counter or anything. Sure. I think it's a fine answer and you can go side lanes versus the NAR, but NAR very versatile, and team fight really well in addition to handling side lane and pressure. I would say one of the most opposite champions you could have to the Kennendo. Ranged top laner that wants to group up a team fight, melee top laner that just never wants to see the team and always push in the side lane. Tiny lightning Yordle versus, I don't know what type of being is Yord. Man, he's a large grave digger. Alright, while we contemplate that, I'm here and we're going to listen in on C9 real quick. Maybe. Potentially. The coach is wearing something freaky. He's stroking his beard the whole time. Yeah, he actually mugged your beard. It's like a quarter of his beard. Sorry. Sorry, man. 100% worth listening in on it. They're going to get intimidated by the enemy coach. This is actually funny because we've had multiple interviews. We had an interview with Dom on the analyst desk, and he was talking about Sven's. Sven thinks that the most important thing for coaches is that you show up and you mob the enemy coach. Mostly about how you look. So that's why they want the Cloud9 coach is looking good in these sharp suits where Dom and Aaron are always wearing these suits. the other side is all you get a weird super long beard and he's stroking at the whole time he's right there that's crazy he's definitely in their heads oh no Nick and Aaron Smith we're gonna need you to get some beard oil brother the little twist at the end anyways back to the actual chance here though trying to Cook on the other side now both of them do have options for the side lanes, but Ivern comp here. Oh Here for for cause a bringing the Zoe back out Did have a game already to split on it as well And your aphelios goes to the other side can guess so maybe it'll be what I was mentioning with the jinx Yeah, I don't know what we what is this come trying to do on red side you actually like this yeah it's okay it's a it's a similar thing here you know you're you have a strong build up for the jinx to try and keep jinx safe i mean zelia is like you're looking for the angles for poke elsewhere it does it seems the one that's kind of a little bit more out of place i think the york is fine in it because you get sideline pressure and you can still like Create terrain and stuff to give some space for the jinx to work around But we'll see we'll see about the the Zoe fitting in what so we can do is big burst damage I guess to set up the jinx passive because if you land a bubble you land the paddle star and then change lands like an Old or something then you can get your passive online at the start of the fight hard to get them though around the front line That's like moondo and even gnar NAR and Thresh also, Lantern is such a good answer because you can reposition. Yeah, I like C9's side a lot right now. I feel like their front to back is much clearer in its identity and its execution. They even have the Lantern to get you out of the Yorick, little cage, he tries to push you in anyway. So yeah, I'm like once C9 put together here for game number four, but I will give one thing to red, much more exciting. Zoe coming in the mid lane, Yorick in the top lane. This is an Ivern jungle. Like I can't even think of the last time I saw an Ivern jungle. Maybe 24, like fly quest. I know Inspired was playing it. Yeah, yeah. Inspired played it decent amounts. I mean, it's not been super prevalent recently, but it gets sprinkled in, you know? All good. Well, either way, exciting draft from Red Cannon's Let's see if we can get them to a match point. Their backs are against the wall. They have to reverse sweep cloud nine to continue their lower bracket run in the America's Cop C9. Just need to pick up one more and they drafted a very standard front to back style composition to pull it off here in game number four as both teams will take to the rift. I don't remember if it was you, Kobe or if it was Zale. What do we think that is? Is that like a statue that's been buried or is it like a rug? It's like it's an ode to a Krug maybe it's a Krug that's what happens when Krugs get really old They just turn into a rock. Well, they can't they're already walks. They just can't move anymore. That's like a Krug that's Staying there forever now. It's lying down. It's just sleeping bro. It's still alive. It's just oh Okay, well, that's a much happier story than that. Oh, look at that causing it going for a little roam up to the top side Go through the paddle star trade under certain Sanitones helps FNB out. Yeah, but anyways Cloud9Fight is just so much more meta. They just meta top to bottom here with their picks, so... See how well they can stick to it, how much they can... Red can cook. Well, our eyes will be a lot on this top half of the map for Red, or at least mine will be to see how does Ivern want to impact the lanes, but I guess when I think about Ivern now that I've given a little more thought, probably going to be more about the bottom half and keeping the teams the same. So I'm going to retract that initial setup there. Go back to what we had said earlier is that keeping a rebello safe is Red's game plan Yeah, for sure. I mean they're like all right York gets his plays on game. He's put pushes. I focus on the other side everybody else It's on the team game the jinx game Mm-hmm. I Just think it's exciting when I see York Zoe. I'm like, what are they gonna do? How's it gonna work? How's he keeps throwing the paddles are forwarded and up so he's just looking for the short guaranteed trades with the Sure. Yeah. Yeah. And he could go like proto belt to try and get some, uh, some different angles. Nice play. Great interrupt from Vulcan right there. Stopping the Xenith plate engage. Yeah. The, the Thresh interaction is really easy. Just wait, even if, you wait until the Xenith plate connects. And then once the Leona starts moving, just hit the play and you're all good to go. You're going to mess it up if you do it too early. Yeah. I've had people do that before and then there's even late connects after and then they go through and you're like But just be ready In your position wait to look at next boom and amount of it I'm happy you said it's an easy thing to hit because I've never been on the threshold. I'm not a thrash player I'm a leader player, so it happens to me all the time Yeah, you're now gonna be like oh, that's easy for them. Yeah, it is as long as they got their timing down And blabber and Curse we'll see each other in this bottom side right now, but red have the push so the lab will have to back off That is three crabs in a row Kobe Curse is a super early one Split the top crap so yeah Just keep a track of that though. Give me one to one mental damage I mean I burn is like one of the fastest players in the whole game Big damage from Sven onto a Rebello right there as another play from Vulcan. Flash forward from Sven will get heal out of Rebello or rather heal out of Frosty. Ghost out of Rebello but Rebello saves this flash so Sven trading down in summoner's balls at least pushes the jinx out of lane. That is true. That is a down trade. That is a downgrade but it was getting hypey man. It was. Did I do with it? They're gonna push in. They want to make a miss CS. I kind of want to see if they actually do make a miss CS Tentatose minus one on the cannon up there in the top lane, and yeah, let's see. It seems so far like rebel is fine Yeah, he's getting he's grabbing most of CS. All right. They got their turret plate But uh, Phelios no flash Could be dangerous Very early Ivern gank down there as you'll now walk up as this might available So maybe looks at the raptor is blabber is already on them so curse. Yeah, you can look but you cannot touch He's touching them right now, Coby What's that? Yeah Blabber once Backs away. It's kind of a waste of time a little bit Revello has not gotten the back off by the way, he's still Shunked heavily down here one death sentence could mean his demise Let's see, can he CS again this way? How much threat can C9 put? Volkan really wants to get an angle for a hook. But look at Frosty's good position. Just make sure he's always between Thresh and the Jinx. And till at least the melee's get cleared out, then the Jinx can handle the rest of the CS. So, yeah. We're gonna attempt the back here. Blabber will stop Frosty's back. So now D-Sync with Revello, but Revello will finally get that one off. Flabber because he desyncs them will actually start the dragon next Yeah, this is so nice for Mundo. I mean Sorry about speed of Ivern clears Mundo clear is crazy fast, too And they're just gonna start this dragon up without mid prior though Zoe first here Cuz he's roaming down lands a paddle star has the ignite picked up as well If he is gonna walk up it's Vensel on man. I even though he's got red white Maybe not ready to fight and it's just a leash from C9 Yeah Red pick up the first rag and well played Ozzie had push so all your efforts are as you say. Thanks for the leash Thanks for the leash That's a jumble of a land battle star big damage as well, but cause he's gonna hold the ignite for later Maybe APA can get it back off here. He's gonna start it off. No TP for the azir So how they can at least get a wave in and you can also stop the back goes for the flash that was Zoe's flash plus the ignite but not enough for the kill give him a little heart attack yeah worry about his rebel is taking big damage first blood dusts fan as Vulcan locks him into place I want to I want to read by the lead-up of that he's down Ivern sends him Daisy then it does is able to hit mega north bigger health bar keeps him safe for now, but that's four members of Santa's screen. Now Frosty's tagging in for Daisy. Santa's jumps forward, tries for the locked-out flashes away as Frosty now flashes back in with a wave behind the baby. Yay! Who'll pick up the double kill? C9, punished red for the dive top lane. Happy birthday to the mid laner. How about a double kill of the present? I'm going to back off. I'm going to tap. Cloud9 get presents everywhere, K and Giz. Bot lane earned their own present. Zven and Volkan just went to the store and they're like, you know what? Happy birthday to us also. We're going to get presents because APA is birthday, so. It's a gift bag, you know. We're going to buy ourselves a Jinx kill. And then Top lane, they actually kills over the APA. Two kills onto Azir. Rich birthday boy. Yeah. And again, I do wonder how Rebella went down to start that off. Top side, we got to see the whole thing. It was Daisy plus the maiden topside here in the dive. Yeah, this is the Pokemon team comp. They got the Daisy from Ivern and they got the maiden from Yorick here trying to whittle down Dantos, but Dantos does a great job. He's got his mega, he gets his angle, boom, two into the wall. He flashes over, hits the follow-up wallup after they take the aggro from tower. And so Frosty's super low, APA gets there just in time to peel four Dantos. So Thanatos lives, APA gets paid, and everybody on C9 is happy. Bot lane, top lane, mid lane. And Vlaver says, great job, guys. He's happy too, because Vlaver was farming. Thanatos played that immaculately. And APA coming in for the cleanup. Now almost towards that first item. Still just components currently, but has a slight lead over Kaze, who has the CS advantage for himself right now. He has been making APA struggle a little bit in the 1v1. So, Influx of Gold feels really good for APA to help compensate for that. Labyrinth here. Mundo, full business, yo. He's a level ahead of that Ivern. It's basically a full level, too. Just one extra camp there for the Ivern. Showing up, trying to put the pressure on the bottom lane. I love Vulcan's use of these Emas, by the way, he keeps using the Teemo, eating the burger. Very American emote right there as nice to have something's landsfall off Canadian for the gravity. I'm not true actually. Yeah It's venues is it all the time to and he's Danish Good still just burgers is synonymous. Yeah. We all we claim that yeah, they have uh, they've You know acclimated to their environment Yeah, curse is hovering around for a long play, but that's just gonna waste more time You're gonna get further behind Mundo bro Mundo's back to business blabbers already up to his top camps He's gonna go far more He's pushing these camps guys. They will spot him out now as the Raptors will be spawning soon Get back to those crugs Timeline to keep up We got businesses business businesses to make you're gonna try this night. I was gonna try this night I was like that's not the blur off. We got meetings to attend. We got paperwork to file. Okay. We got business to do I Okay, I was getting the businesses right now five people first one. That's not fair. What's this the ghoul army Rising up against the oppressive non-top lane CEO Mundo walking out of the jungle red rotating around the map here. They're onto the Grubbs, APA chunked out from Kaze yet again and looks like these will be confirmed by Red, nobody from C9 going to contest. Meanwhile, Bottom Lane again. I feel like most of the other games, Cloud9's Bottom Lane either like gave up prior or died or got flashes blown, you know, you got ganks, something like that. But this game, they've had enough. Yep. They've had enough, Genghis, Thresh, Aphelios, and they are dominating it. 1,000 individual gold lead, just as Venn on Aphelios. Yeah, they are powerful. I think this game, Cloud9, with their advantage, if you take into account the advantage with the team comp from their draft, I think their draft is just way better. Yeah. It makes it way easier to play out the rest of the game. And then you add onto that the gold lead. Ooh, right onto it. Red have really been focused so much on the top half of the map. Maiden does go down here as Curse will now pop Daisy. One Pokemon fades, the other comes out. Thanatos does not have a Narbar built up and Kaze's rotating up as well. Daisy will start it off as a teleport. The, yeah, thanks, the Thanatos is out of there. I mean, big honors to Thanatos. Yeah. Good weak side player. Delays on the first time. They get double kill onto the Azir because of it. Second time he knows I'm good. I don't have mega so see I'm out of here. He lives And we get bought turrets then stays down there and keeps pressuring frosty's been roaming so much that This balling has gone worse as the propeller looks for the see on the dragon But now the solar flare on the APA in the mid lane rooted. I'll be shoveled out Vulcan body block in the paddle star and then coming in as well Operation get birthday boy to safety successful as that battle star goes wide as well. Vulcan son up has to flash himself a Frosty now low How's they still in the brush looking for that kill on the APA and he just cannot find it? They got the easier out of there. That's crazy. That is crazy I would honestly like a vision toggle fog of war from this like is that that was loopy going from like oh Yeah, then it goes clean teleport out and he survives and then And then we can also say Queen teleport out from the APA even though he gets stunned up and the rest as a Lantern Man out there he still survives so still good, right? Hey still reason to celebrate. Still survived. Still survived. Let's take a look at replay. Do we get, yeah so this is how it starts off. Oh it's a bubble that sets it up. Yeah. Okay. Boom. Boom. He gets the shield going through him just barely and then into the waiting arms of Vulcan with the heal. So close as now it's Ven could be in some trouble here. Frosty lands a stun, he's got the lantern down, but he's got to flash out instead. Death sentence out of Frosty. Flashback to safety, but there's Blaber at the Mundo. CC'd. He's got a big health bar, but he's got to flash the solar flare to get out of there. The death rocket tanked up by Vulcan C9. Don't lose anybody. We're scrapping. No one's falling. Danger in the mid lane, though. We have a lot of close calls mid lane here, Kengis. Yeah. I mean, no flash flabber, no flash or cleanse, Zven. Still a very healthy gold blade. It's actually increasing, because APA pushing side lanes here. So up to 4K, the advantage. 4Cloud 9, it's still the lion's share is on Zven. And one rich of Bellios and even APA's ahead of cause a now So he's gold rich summoner spell poor Yeah, I'd so rather be gold rich. He doesn't have a lot of Savings it's all it's all cash Is that it or no? I think it'd be the opposite. He doesn't have access to as much so it's all in stocks. There we go Untaxable right now that sentence from Vulcan lands. I know follow up under a bellow I too would go after this this a failure stuff. I mean he's very rich He has no summer spells. So keep attacking mid lane if you're red and you're trying to get back in this and cut the gold lead back down Keep trying to fish for plays on this bed. This champ when this champ has no summer spells like yeah, keep throwing bubbles Look for your next Leona ultimate here on him. Mm-hmm Vulcan's doing a good job hovering, you know Keep some distance with the rest so you can reposition but And he has the Mikael's spells item. So if that bubble lands or that solar flare lands you have an opportunity to hit the Mikael's, get him out there. Really smart buy from Bolton right there. There we go. You're your player of the game. Bias now. Player of the series, Bias now. He's my player of the series I think, yeah. So far there's a ward there from red that will spot out C9 as they walk up towards the Herald. And now they're starting to walk up to approach. We'll combine space here, it's a order and a chase. We got the frontline, we got the Ivern on the jinx, we got teleports flying in, Glamrs rooted up, he's got the Moon to ultimate but he's still going down, Red had enough damage to cut through the man who pushes and a bubble on his vent who gets completely zoned out from the rest of the team. C9 will lose the fight at the Herald and the objective, Red Camus, punch hard. Um They just stay hitting Harold like he's everything on it. Oh, it's crazy to watch yeah That's great for red though. They just walked up burn this moon to him down despite the macaels Kill him and take the Harold after they killed him and they killed spend red No summer stuff, but they got to go on to the playoffs afterwards to play a best of all worlds for red I will say when the battle start not enough to kill APA right there does still survive it for now Yeah, B will take that top turret red get a big influx of gold after that one and we see the strength of the jinx team fight I'm going into the game. We said yeah, you got to watch out for the jinx resets the jinx damage They had an Ivern on the jinx a Leona in the front and that's exactly what red wants to do in these fights Oh the work plays out for a kick in the Landro game. You got it. He's out of there Now Vulcans, I attempt to twirl for their stun, just slow down and the damage is enough. Ravello picks up another kill. The IvanCC is working here for Red. Good pick from them. They kill. Can they get more? They're going to finish off the turret. I mean, Jinx is excited here, melts through this thing, and that turns into Dragon. So, Red, they want to push this game to the 5 and they're doing it. Are they going to go to APA as well? I mean, he's all alone down here in the bottom lane. Yeah, they got the inside route again sharks in the water APA he's got flash He's got embers to five he will use the summoner spell to get back to safety I already know what we're gonna look at on the Yeah, the play after after the game here. We're definitely gonna investigate the setup on that hero Yeah, because that was kind of wild And they just lost so much. All right, APA does stop the hero charge, but he's got to get out of there Oh, the AP is actually playing this easier very clean. He's in these max range shuffle escapes as the Herald was delayed, but it will still take the turret. Now the next one, we're heading towards the mid lane here. C9 had multiple members hovering around the top half for Thanatos. And no action going to happen as they just get some more plates in the mid lane. But if it be really right now and far. And then red have retaken the 4,000 gold difference. They've made up entirely here. They just basically deleted Sven's lead. Yeah, Jinx fully caught up, two item Jinx now. Sven though, he's close to Infinity Edge, so that'll still be a really nice spike for Aphelios, for Sven. And the big crits will come through. Then you get your late game Aphelios and your Azir, but oh no, man, the CC on red. They've had some pretty good setups here. Frosty and Curse working quite well together. I'm also waiting for Blacker to get a little tank here. Oh, he actually just built more magic resist I was wondering if he was gonna give it to Armageddon. He has Merc treads because Rebello is shredding through him Yeah, I mean I guess he's gonna go spear at visage and I would recommend a randuins After to deal with the Jinx crits that are gonna be a large part of the damage later Because that was by far the most damage that happened on the black or in that Harold setup as he was locked down Rebello's just free-firing with the Kraken Slayer now two items on Rebello Jinx So he's also in a pretty good positions then answering right there. So very even game currently in terms of gold But slight, you know objectively for red with two dragons plus the three grubs of the show Joey been looking pretty decent to all these bubbles have resulted in kills a lot of setups of them, so So, Jose value finds another nice little bubbles, deal with Minimwave, get a little poke. With the Azir turret there, it's going to be hard to actually die, but now we have Kurs walking all the way up. APA has his turret, but he's got a lot of members of red around him. He will jump forward and look for his own TP away. Flash from Kurs to interrupt the TP. That's what you want to see from your jungler with Rabbello gifted the kill. red find a bank in the sideline they're gonna try and rotate over to this tower at least spend finishes it and There is some sort of payment for committing that heavily to the sideline, but red with another kill Yeah, I'm actually go up in gold. Yeah, because they they're dropping waves to go do it give up mid lane lose the tower and he's got no way out. He knew, he knew, he saw him coming the whole way, so. He thinks it's just them and there's not going to be time for Ivern to get there, but Ivern just flashes. That's all. Now it's match range key right there. Got to imagine. Well done from Kirsten. Well done, Kirsten. Well done, Kirsten. Well done, Kirsten. Well done, Kirsten. Well done, Kirsten. got a magic well done from curse but still basically dead even in the gold department I mean it's three turrets the three turrets the only advantage right now for either team is that extra dragon the red effect plus the three grubs and the next dragons up in a minute and 20 seconds so yeah still kind of edge of my seat here in game number four could not get much closer Kaze has way more damage right now I mean in the mid game Zoe is so critical for setup for these objectives it just makes it dangerous for 5.9 to ever approach so I would not be surprised if 5.9 you know made the call to keep split oh actually your APA is recalling so APA wants to recall for Israelize and they're gonna fight it but you gotta watch these bubbles you know the the burst damage from Zoe is is definitely big at this moment in time so So Kaze going to clean up that side wave and then walk on over to the rest of the team and here we go. TPN from FNB into that bottom side. Thanatos just went for his reset. Another Trouble Bubble lands onto APA but no Paddle Star follow up. Just a little chunk onto the Azir as he's able to sidestep that next Paddle Star. Red dropping down these brushes for Frosty to walk forward. Daisy goes down as well as FNB has now grouped up with the rest of the team. Focuses onto Blabber and C9 are not around their jungler yet. Blabber's just out of there. But for any damage can follow off from C9, losing their front line. Almost guarantees that Red can now just walk in and take this dragon on spawn. Yeah, they have too much CC for Mundo's passive to deal with. He just walked up there forever. Leona and Ivern and Zoe and Jeanstraps. And it's Mundo is looking like the squishiest champ on the fr... He's looking like paper! Yeah! Folding him up like a fourth grade love letter. How many times he died 0-2-0? Yeah, it's the third dragon, dragon's all point for Red Candid's Kalunga. And they're in a fantastic position at this point in the game, Kobe. It's still close in the gold department, but you got to imagine that, you know, the setups around these dragons are favoring the Zoe. You got the bubbles flying in. You got Daisy making space for you. Like they are making it so hard for C9 to get in at all. I was told that Mundo goes where he pleases. I was not told that there are no repercussions for his actions. True, a Sanitas right now in the 1v1 vs FNB, but Curse coming up from behind. You can go where you want, but you might die. Yeah, true. You know, I would have jumped out of a helicopter with no parachute. You can do it. Bad idea. Not advice, I would say. We could do it once. True. True. You could probably get away with it at the one time. You could do it one time. What was your Nathan Drake? Although that was a cargo plane. Completely different story. Sanatos is still alive. Oh, I know those like crazy stories where people have like, you know, fallen from very high heights and still survive, which is like breaking legs or something. What did he like, did he use clothes or something as a parachute? I believe okay, it might be sorry he Found like a container with a big parachute attached to it as right now frosty looking for a parachute as Engaged on by C9 a big looks for the big like the big engage not a curse and rebel is refining on the azir Finds excited passive as they chase down Ben Who carries down blabber and fan to make some space work for C9 on the flank now but FNB survives it. It is the Rubello show. If you can't kill the Jinx, you're not going to win the fight. And C9 not able to lock him down this time around. The Zap's slow on the Vulcan as he does not sidestep the next one. Flash is still tied to the Death Rock and Rubello is crushing these fights. I mean, Red are playing their range way better. You know, they're using the Ivern CC and the Daisy and they're kind of clogging up these seed bites. Like you say, nobody can get to the Jinx. Rebella uses both Flash and Ghost, but that is well worth it. Those are game winning. That's a game winning deep fire right there, four red. Unless C9 can pull out a miracle play at the moment at the Baron. From APA straight onto the bubble and now red jumping on top of the Azir. That looked like a miracle. That looked like a miracle to me. Somebody at C9 not parachute, they're gonna need it there in free fall right now. as red cannons kalunga are just out executing time and time again and this time i don't think there's any shot any baron can test hey just lay the bubble on the ground where the teleport is going to arrive and night night a b a bye you know there was the one movie have you ever seen the 18 nope now it's a 2010 remake of like a 1970s tv show 18 check it out great movie they have a tank and they're falling in the tank and then they shoot downwards to like pump them up and stop and they shoot right? The recoil of the tank shot is like right before they enter the water. Okay, so they start off by seeing the hook them and flabber in the front. They actually use the cleanse for him. Yeah, if they hit right in the middle. If they hit right in the middle, and you didn't catch them. Yeah, and AP are right in the middle there. Boom, they walk them down. You don't flabber below. I mean like, I see what AP is trying to do there, but Jinx isn't caught in the old, because you still have your summoner spells, their spells so then game of the both both of us over there you go she's fine oh and then the trouble bubble ended as well I don't want to watch that one again get that on my screen that means we can hear some silver scrapes in our ears pretty soon though you might not like what you're seeing Genghis but maybe you'll like what you're hearing I do like that song I've been hearing some silver scrapes slander lately, by the way. People saying all the songs you've ever rated. I don't get what this is. I think it's a great song. Approximately rated. Red, by the way. They've got a lot of gold to earn here, and I think they're going to do it. Also a flare onto APA, but he does get out with the Thresh Lantern. There's no FNB on the side getting chased down by his Ven and Thanatos, but he gets to safety using the flash. Red continue to see you on the bottom turret and they will get it as they land the Venus Blades onto the Mundo who is going where he pleases. Pop to the ultimate still. Massive damage from the battle star. Okay maybe he did need the magic resist. Maybe that was a good idea to pick that up because he almost just got popped there. He's working on it. A lot of damage coming his way and he doesn't have the funds to deal with it. He's working on the Rando ones that we were hoping for though to reduce some of the crits that are coming his way honestly it's just gonna be too late though because that dragon soul is gone bye bye dragon soul earned by red can it's kalunga now use the word earned because they're fighting truth and male here Kobe they were down 2-0 in the series that's iron mental to be able to stay in the series when you have to win three in a row and it looks like they're gonna make it at least two as they have such a giant lead now that they picked up this dragon soul it is only ocean considered often as one of the lower ones but Baron pushing in they're taking these turrets I think they're still feeling fine about their prospects. Question is is cloud nine going to tweet out their reverse sweep need that they tweet out every reverse sweep. Oh that's a good one I mean I think it was pointing out. I think they will. Yeah gg right can't it's columbia yeah no no way everyone comes back for a verse sweep reverse sweep holy yeah the possibility is looking very real at least pushing us to the game number five well actually we can check it right don't they tweet it when it's a 2-0 yeah all right I'm gonna check no I'm not gonna keep watching the game can we get I can tell you want you to kind of divide I don't want to check it okay you know what we're on the couch but this is true It's supposed to be chill. We're vibing. All right if action breaks out you can yell about it Relax buddy, I got this. All right. Cloud9 Are they one of the teams? Do they have a low? They have C9 low. We follow each other. They are one of the teams in this game Yeah, we follow each other. Yeah, yeah, you close like that Apparently Okay, red punch back. Blabberpillers are too good. One more game. Now, it's my buddy Ryan. Shout out Ryan Kling Back home Minnesota. Shout out Ryan. What's up buddy? I'm bad banger of game 1 didn't do it They didn't do it so maybe because they didn't do it The situation we're in now. I am a superstitious man at this point. There's there's some weird stuff in the air. Yeah Who's mondo call who's blabber calling right there? He just pulled up his phone. It's mama, probably Or is it we learned it last week and then he learned the game from his brother, maybe saw his brother What are we doing this situation man? I keep dying to it, Zoe. Got a phone to Fred going into game five. Yeah. Yeah, what do I do? I'm Mundo, but I'm dying. I've watched as well. What's up with that? Yeah. What do I do? Oh, that was starting to APA. Followed on to APA. Another follow-up, no. He's able to shuffle the safety, but the death rocket! Oh! Oh, that was close. That was close. Man, all right, they used the McKales already. McKales down. I'm trying to see where the airy came from. I guess Kaze, did he like, how did Kaze get some, somehow the airy fluid? I don't know what was happening there. I don't know what was happening there. Kers also has airy, so. Oh, yeah. I have to be a pro player. I don't know. Either way, APA does live it, does not have to use the stasis. Has that available now though, so, I mean, there's another opportunity for C9 to find a play, but based on how they've been going, you got a favorite right at this position and feel like we're going to game five. IE is done for Jinx. Oh! That's a full right of Jinx right there. Marbello is gonna be hit. He's got Randoons on Blabber, so you have some armor and crit health. Crit reduction. Crit reduction, there we go. That's the word. We still got 30 seconds before Baron, but like you gotta get over there early. The vision is huge. You gotta walk into this comp with Ocean Soul. It's almost cooked already before it even starts. Two and a half minutes until then, Baron's up in five seconds and Daisy's been that summons. Cause they're looking for the bubble! Land went on to Vanitas right there, and the Solar Flare now used on the APA who tries to get back to safety. They're under the turret APA still alive for now! Flashes, shuffles back, Blotty can't get onto the MZR! Blerg! Oh no! A double kill from the Death Rock and explodes! Robbello! What's a multi-kill? Can you get the pent up? Do you wanna steal it? No, he got your kill. Alright, Thanatos is backing under the fountains. Will Red Candid's Kiwonga go for the pentakill for Revello? If I know C.V.L.O.L. teams, I think we all know the answer to that question. Get him! On the precipice of Silver Scrapes, Thanatos under the fountains! Revello with the pentakill in America's Cup! We're going to game 5! Congrats, Red Pishers, the Silver Scrapes, and Ravello gets his penta on the jinx. Ravello! What a gamer! What a game! Four, going to five. Backs against the wall for Red Candidts, Colunga. They have to win three in a row, and they just got two. And Silver Scrapes, Kobe, in the lower bracket. loser goes home. It's the best of one at this point. I mean, I guess fearless. So a lot of champions take it off the table. But still one more game will decide who's going home and who's continuing on to the tournament. I already told you what I was going to look at. And we're going to get right into it here, buddy. The rift Herald at the beginning of the game. In this game, say cloud nine have so many advantages. Then we're sent was hugely at it was like like 2,000 gold individually ahead at this moment. I can even look actually. Yeah, look at that. 7.1 K to under 5 K. So Sven hugely ahead. They also had APA Azir ahead. And we're looking at the Rift held start here for the squad. So let's go through this slowly here. So Cloud9, this is their vision at the moment. They see that Jinx, they know that Jinx was just here. Nothing leading up though here. So let's take a look as they move in, I can toggle for all first. They're gonna move in. Blabber's gonna get the vision here. Good job, first early steps from Cloud9, doing their setup. They don't sweep the walls. So they didn't see that one ward that Red had down. Blabber never got it with the sweeper. So yeah, they didn't spot that. They're gonna go from their vision though. It is, let's slow it down here a little, because they still get the approach. So they know everything. Like they're like, they have full vision of the approach here. You know, Santos has teleports. So they're going to walk up on the Jinx and Leona here. Blaber is at least. Daisy comes out. Shield goes on to Leona and they go straight for Blaber. Let's look at this chain CC. Sven hitting the objective here. Vulcan tries to slay them off of Blaber. They're trying to stack up his chakrams, but they're just melting through blabber. He gets rooted up by the Ivern, melting, melting, melting. He tries to pop ultimate, pops his ultimate, boom, Leona stun, they layer it on. He even pops his W. Pretty sure he gets his W off good time here too. Yeah, they get the W. They even use Mikael's on him, but they're just jumping jammage. Jinx is just free firing on him, and Cloudnatter on this hero to now. throws the lantern over to Thanatos to come in, so he doesn't have it for Zven. Watch what Vulcan does here. He's trying to make it so that Thanatos can get in faster, but now Zven is away from the team and he can't get to safety. Oh, that's tough. And then they can walk down Zven. He had no summoner spells. Yeah. Pase over the wall too. And then that was, that was a huge goal that he just wiped off the map. This was the huge turning point for the game. Massive stuff. Yeah, big for red to win a team fight. It was still pretty close goal after this Dude, do you want to take a look at maybe the the dragon? No dragon soul was just give it wasn't it? I mean, they're still just dumping damage in the Herald work. Oh, that's okay Red is dumping damage in the moon row and caught nine or dumping damage in the Herald and APA is by the time APA teleports that guy's dead. So that was huge. Anyway, what did you want to look at? I was curious about how the dragon soul went also for MVP. I think it's the most obvious rebel Oh, right. I mean you got a penta kill in the end there The jinx was the identity of this entire draft And he played his role well I mean I also not to cause a though on the Zoe was finding bubble after bubble and really making it hard for C90 work for it But I mean the dragons almost uncontested this. What did you want to look at? Okay, I remember the setup for it like how this is the last moment where there was critical stuff so let's take it. Yeah I'm just trying to remember the setup because This was the fight towards mid. So I mean this one is, they're like the healing up lever this time but their APA went in and this is what you want to look at. It's true. Yeah, yeah let's watch Rebello in this fight. So Jinx has the flash available and yeah just flashed from the middle of the river there. It looks like he was indeed the line brush. Yeah. Really good flash for Rebello. That was actually like so close from APA to find him there Yeah, he's on the Leona here. He's in the line brush. APA is gonna come in and look for the scoop He's walking here against the wall. APA is like I got him. I got him. Boom flashed to the edge Really close flash here over the slope From Rebello nicely done and then APA is stuck in next to Leona. Oh wow Yeah, great stuff. And then you got a pent scale at the end. Yeah, I'm giving a rebella. I'm giving a rebella a player of the game for that one We're going to a game five though because of that and now I mean see nine again a bit of freefall here That did not look like the most coordinated team playing a pretty standard meta for a back up. I mean They had such a good early early setup for this whole game. Yeah, everything was going great their bottom lane one their top side one api got fed money and they could crash look at that damage done for the azir Under 9k so we completely shut it down. I I didn't don't Maybe I didn't put enough kind of like weight onto this counter pick I didn't have the expectation that cause it would be able to do this But cause it did just completely shut down api in lane and was you know Everybody else to like the Zoe poke later later into later into the game Huge stuff, though. Congrats, Robelo. Well deserved player of the game and Silver Scrapes. We're going to a game five. We'll see you there. We got some scrapes, Kobe. I like the original better. I like your enthusiasm, Joe, though. I'm the best. I know Mark Z. Yeah. The man who's embers did it first, but no, maybe somebody in chat is appreciate about us. Well, hey, I'm sure chat's happy that they're getting their five games Kobe. We were high four going in. We both predicted it and we split our predictions. You had C9 3-2. I had Red Candid's Kalunga 3-2 and a big reason I had to take it outside of trying to reverse course out of bias for C9 is that there's a legitimate factor of, you You know, to travel the tiredness and have five games in a row. Don't give me no excuses. I don't want to hear excuses right now. Don't give me excuses. Go ahead. I care five. Well, the momentum's right. Give me lock it. The battle stamina. You know, we're going to five games here. It's going to be tough for C9. And with the momentum behind Red Can, it's Galunga. They just want to be in super high spirits. And I just cannot credit enough of their mental throughout this series. They've kept fighting in games one and two, even though they were behind. They've won games three and four, and now in this game five, it's all in the line. Winner takes all. Yeah, better team fighting, better focus in the last game. Let's see about the final one here. Game five in Fearless. We were already feeling like, oh, Chimpu's are getting a little bit dry, but now even more so here, and especially A.P.A, obviously, everyone's always worried about what's it gonna be the end of the best of five feelings for him Aurora. You generally feel is Thanatos. He's very, very strong with this champion. And if you're looking at the top lane pool, now FNB has to be like, ah, we really have to respect that Aurora flex. Like I can't pick, you know, bruiser or something into it. So you're gonna have to try and work around it that way. But Nautilus is very, very good at this deep. I mean, Nautilus, I love Nautilus Kaisa. this deep like Kaisa is still available dive comps go super hard here. I think that red have been cord very coordinated on that type of surgical play. So, oh, man, and they get Maokai to go with it. Not unless Maokai, if they get the Kaisa, I think that goes really hard. Let's see if CNI gave it to them. They have a chance to pick it now, but then they would have to find their own support to pair with it. And at that point, like rel I'm trying to think of like the other engaged supports that can go alongside it here. Um, or they just opt away from it. Callista, Renata! That is good into Super Hard Dive. Very good counter-dive. Oh! Oh! Oh! All right, big lane phase kill. This is... This is... Rebello, I didn't know you had to like that, man! Yeah, this is very, very painful. Really good pick here. Game 5, Draven into Callista. This is the Primes to be an explosive bot lane. All right, let's see if Zvan and Vulcan have what it takes to bring the heat to Rebello and Frosty Who are stepping up to the plate in a huge way Rebello just got a pentakill and now he's saying team Put me on your back and put you on my back. Get the back back. It's the Draven show looks good, too I mean, it's definitely a good angle. They have so much CC on their side to to get kills for him. And even flanking Aurora is kind of scary, because if you ever get in range of the Draven, you're pretty squishy as the Aurora. You can throw this stand aside and then just pepper you down with his spinning axes. Okay, next round of bans, it's Cassante and Vi taking off the table. And it does look like, at least from Games of Legends, Revello all-time zero Draven games played so really this is looking like his first Professional Draven game and there was no hesitation in that slam either. Yeah, I like that confidence Well now I'm almost curious like are we positive ever? I would assume assume I Mean a top lane Draven And I know I've been be loves his carry top ladies I'm sure that's probably yes. I'm with you on the spot As long as I'm not like too far off base here Chase taking out the table who contain on the table there were two pretty big junglers left for blabber not gonna get either of them As really would be very surprising to me here. She's not what's it's not top lane? Yeah, the Hummer's though a really is like It is a possible pick for mid lane counters too, so it could be like mind game trying to put that in people's minds And then they go with the very safe. I like this neutralizing pick Gragas up here is Could go could go top lane. Honestly even it opens up a little flexibility with Malachi You can jungle Malachi Or you could top lane Malachi if you really wanted to about see any any reason to do that So assuming it's going to be the top lane Gragas into the Aurora, very nice neutralizer up there. So you can focus on your Draven lane, just send all your resources towards the Draven lane, get Draven cached in and snowball that way. Meanwhile for Cloud9, they want to get some mid or jungle and top lane synergy going for themselves and put the Aurora into mid lane and grab a top lane counter here for Thanatos. get a carry some sort of melee carry so he can get some auto attacks auto attack reset so good stuff here if you can do auto attack Q reset force a hand try and frock a Situani stun quickly enough and you can be quite the bruiser yourself and I have to say with Renata Renata is going to be one of the premier picks for C9 here that's the thing that's kind of holding it still together for them in the face of it and there you go Kegis you get it Oh, it's Zerri! Zerri rotated into mid lane. Okay, okay, I got very excited thinking it was Draven top, Zerri pie, Crog is mid. Okay, I thought maybe I had that prediction. But it is spice! It is spice! True! Zerri mid into Aurora, it's still putting an AD carry into the ranged mage, which I think is still kind of in the spirit of why I thought there was a chance of the Draven flex. Aurora loves the melee matchups that she can abuse, but now that she's into a ranged matchup, it's going to be a little harder for me. No, he's gonna scale really well into really good team fighting here So Zoe and Draven core with the carries say it's like a two-eyed effect for Zerry like two to three Yeah, definitely. Yeah, although I wonder if you're mid like maybe a tri-force like if we if we see like a more Solo lane focus to build for the Zerry as opposed to the team fighting build. I'm not exactly sure I Feel like we're venturing into less, you know visited territory here let's chart a territory but either way it's game five we'll learn soon enough what the game plan is from red candidates Kalunga as they have one more game to close out this series and to close out the reverse sweep cloud nine we're looking confident we're looking dominant after the first two games but they have been humbled and brought back down to earth by by Colunga. One game either way. Continues your life in the lower bracket. One loss either way ends your America's Cup. And so far this year, this is the first mid-Zerry of the year for tier one play. So good. I mean, Game 5 feel this gives us all kinds of good stuff all the time. That's why it's fun to see some fun markets here. Draven bot lane, Zerry mid lane. Cloud nine versus red. Elimination, we're in the lower brackets. Last chance. I imagine the folks at home are in for an entertaining game number five. Red Cannons have been very exciting with the last two games drafts and they followed it up with gameplay to match it. They just got one more ahead of them and now as Laning Phase will start, both teams have loaded onto the rift. And we're gonna learn what the Zerry Midlane does Into the Aurora the reason I was thinking maybe something like a Trinity force first is just cuz like if you're gonna be in a side lane You maybe want a little more health and a little more survivability And the reason I was also kind of talking about it before with cause it's his third Zerry mid game. Okay, let's look up the old bills. Hold on. Give me a second Yeah, well you're talking about that I'll cover on the joke. So far. Oh, he was going crit So he's gonna scale just just like normal Zary so really really good scaling here He's not gonna do any you know add normal stuff just cuz it is Mid lane so you know what I'm reminded now Yeah, it looks good red candidates Colando. We're known as the three-edged dragon with the way that they draft I'd say two heads in this game. It's about the two carries if If C9's able to lock down one of them if they kill Revello, well, cause they say if they kill cause it Revello is there There are two carries that they have to deal with in this calm Ooh spicy stuff. All right, Draven vs. Galista in the bottom lane. Let's see if we get ganks down here I assume so look at Malkai wrapping around as Immediately C9 up the flash Volcan tries to get out of there not the back by the Malkai But things have a turret shot so curse backs off himself, but that's something to spell down He did my favorite route I do this all the time in solo queue your rafters and to steal their blue steal their gromp gank bottom lane Ah, but the response from blaber here is now to hunt him down and he took a turret shot Yeah, half health on curse right there. So you'll now walk out and see blaber And the bot lane from red are gonna be there faster So blabbers got Arctic so over the wall get out of safety. Yeah, you see he was waiting there by wall He was like, oh, you want to try and W on me? I'll take you over this wall, buddy. You are low health, but good stuff there from both sides. Kerse doesn't go for it. Labr doesn't overstage. But I just love this opening jungle path. It's so frequent you can do it on in solo queue, but especially if you have a draven bottom lane, then it kind of like splits the map a little bit for your bottom lane. And now the Malakai can just return to bottom side scuttle crab here, keep trying to split it. He did get jumped really hard by that turret shot, though. This time around, it's APA that's faster. So C9's mid laner is actually going to answer this a little earlier. He had not been doing up the last couple of games, so now Blavver will actually win the little contest here. Let's go get that bottom scuttle. Well, humbly. Curs has an award there. So Smite from Blavver. Now Curs is in the line brush. I don't think it was spotted by C9. Flash forward from Curs. He's taking the W under the turret. And first blood donated APA. The bird that a boy. Blavver now into the mid lane. Kaze has the flash available, we'll just jump over the wall, save the summoner spell and get out to save. Another turret shot and this one results in death. I mean, you gotta know he's gonna flash you under turret. Nobody is that slow in a pro game if you flash W on them as Malkai, that they're not gonna flash you under the turret. So really good job by APA, but I think it's just reaching too far in Curses' situation. What's the opposite of a twisted advance? would be like a twisted retreat oh well what about like that was easy bro like a unwound retreat retreat you are saying it's a wild stuff you're thinking I'm trying to get the ball full of offensive. You're thinking too hard I think we nailed it on the twisted retreat. I think Reds nailed this one. No flash on Vulcan in the bottom lane and Rebellus tried to punish it but he does not get the last auto off. Vulcan gets back to safety the heal was enough and Ben was all those spheres in the backs pushes back reds bot lane oh man yeah they're trying to play you know try to make some value out of the malchai early route where they had invested you know some of malchai's health in getting the flash out of an odd and that's how where he took the first turret shot from the bottom tower and got him kind of trumped out for the later skirmishes but topside to then it doesn't hitting a lot of these dreaded returns on the fnp but it's just a craggis man it's it's it's not gonna result in like like a towered up or anything, but then those, wow, good early lead again. Yeah, I mean, that payment alone in the early CS lead and only five minutes is quite nice and worth it for then it's us. Yeah, the full two ways for then it's us on his own, meanwhile, mid lane, we saw that AP was able to get, I believe a plate there with that last wave that shoved in. He's also got a slight lead for himself with the donated first blood. So, 1,000, just over lead for C9 across the board, not a bad start to game 5. They also had not a bad start in the last game. Well, I just got a run. And then they had a bad rift, Terral. Yeah. Alright, so don't get too comfortable, everybody. Uh-huh. Well, check in at 14 minutes. Don't get comfortable. I'm comfortable. Yeah. But it's definitely better to start, you know, positively than negatively if they had, you know, one of those early kills for Red. So, Driftplane at least, Cassian's still here for Rebello for the Draven pick. He's got confidence after the last game, ended with a pentakill, slams the Draven this time around. Wait a sec. They still has the Flash available. That's a Zerry. I like that we do keep getting a little look at the top lane and we get to check in. That Thanatos is continuing with this advantage but I just, it just is rarely ever results in actual kills on Gragas. What is usually is CS and turret blades. Gragas is just so good of a nullifying champion. But bottom lane might be a different story. This scuttle crab, Slaver doing a good job, he knows. Just push it up to his top side, up to his mid lane here, the top side of this fight and he can acquire the crab. It's not enough to give him 6 though. They had been doing too much other stuff so hadn't been fully everything else up to that and it's gonna have to go back for another camp to grab the Sedgewani ultimate. I would consider that a big success for C9 though when you're into the Draven Autoless lane to be able to still have the ability to take that bottom cover crab. Just on paper I'd assume Draven is gonna be tough to fight if the bot lane runs up and tries to contest you so. There's no slouch or so either. And bail out, bail out sneaky sneaky good in these early skirmishes from the runana so. We have two uh revives by the time teamfights come around what is the end uh revive as well. Dragon's hurt up by c9 now as curse will just path away they're gonna seed the neutral objective curse will focus on clearing instead blaber now has hit level six. I mean honestly too the differences in burst damage so even if you talk about like game state and how your gold levels or item levels, DPS versus Burst. Burst is way, way, way, way bigger of a deal in the early game in Outlet Skirmishes. And since APA got that kill on Aurora, even just getting up to your little bit of Burst with level six with your Hextech Alternator here, that Burst damage is really big if you hit your combos. So you have to respect that. And the Zary just wants to keep farming. It's like, You know you need cause they want to build this crit crit build here quite probably even though he started with a ruby crystal So maybe goes a different build because I was looking at his past builds He always did hit the static shift and then just go regular crit, but Ruby crystal now There's one lands Vulcan throws out the hot-salt take over follow it off with Blabberganking and this is gonna be great for C9 and give first to Sven give second to Sven a double kill to C9's bot lane To be fair, his past Zerigames are looking at where 2024. Okay. So it's been a long time and it was a very different meta back then. So new meta, new build, new year. New him. This curse will not go... Oh, he actually does walk up. Stops the back of Vulcan. Well, actually probably could have finished that unless maybe curse just flashed twist advances after the Elans. But Vulcan will be slightly delayed from his Vens reset. Either way, a double kill to Sven. Great news for the ball, they have C9. That's close to a blade of the Ruin King. Now, Kurs, in the river, gets chased out. He will twist advance here onto APA. Frosty's in the Lack of Ben as well. Kaze still pretty far away and Sven's coming in for C9. Rebello as well. APA gets out of there, but the Sink cannot be set for Blabber. He flashes Yark to get sold. He does make it out as the Sejuani. Two tanky to take down that fast. Now the Sink and the Blast comes back over the wall. where reengaged comes in, Frosty almost gets Bop Labyrinth. Does fall. Rebela will be traded though. AB carry for jungler as C9 get a third kill to their Kalista and Frosty cannot get out of the pit waiting for the Hex Blash not coming up and that will be a kill to APA on a win down the Nautilus. Woo, Cloud9 is like, oh, you know, we lose, we sacrifice one in order to get this Draven. That is mega, mega, mega, mega worth. I mean, they still had never gotten a cash in for Draven, you know. So getting these kills on the Draven, taking down the stacks in addition to all this gold for Cloud9, C9, game five. Wait, game four, it was about a two skate gold lead also. Okay. I guess we have to stop cursing them. Kobe, it's not a curse. We're just talking about what happened last game. Curses on screen right now going in and this call for Cloud9. They say, Hey, wait till focus year. Everybody get out. So they use their ult from APA. They use the flash as well from Blaber to get out But they're just waiting for Vulcan to arrive. Here we go. Renata is here So there's Blast gone, the frontline in, and everyone focus this kills down Blaber. Two flashes are used They don't get the reset for Blaber, but they do get This Draven right into their hands. Into the hands of Vulcan who shakes them. He's shaking right back to his Galista Who's now not only about three waves of CS in the lead also three kills in the lead. That's OG Neals baby right there vintage OG Neals Callista we're about to be treated to that's some origin game play Back when it's Callista was his go-to Main Bay It's gonna be clutch this time around I can feel it cloud nine game five Let's see what they can do. He's bringing back his old Jerry Min that he played back in 2024. A lot of money to focus on. This is the story. Here we go. So 20 holds is ready to go. So is Curse. So it's a 3v3 but Red actually decided to back all the way off. APA is not visible on the map right now and he is roaming down from mid lane. That's going to be the Draven holds thrown out whirling and actually just to try and clear up some of that CS. Vulcan will drop a ward down and yeah red they cannot even walk up to this next wave coming in C9 our proxy farming Botside with the help of APA's roam and blabberbeam there as well. I mean they're just they're just there down. They're giving up mid they're giving up mid cryo. Cosby's able to get a lot right there is now the ultimate comes up from Maokai. Nice from blabber right there throws up a glacial prison does not stun up Pierce. And again we're just staring each other down. This is so rude from C9. They're not allowing red access to any of these waves. Not only did Rebellion not get his cash in, he's not even hitting the wave, Kobe! Yeah, they're starving him. He's crazy. Fasting Draven now. I don't think that sounds very good. No. That does not have a good ring to it. Not for red it doesn't, because like they gave up half of their mid-wave and a mid-major plate. That is well worth it. That is well worth it to starve the Draven. Just flashing there as cause it was growing up from mid lane. But yeah, well worth for C9 They're gonna get another objective they denied I that was what two maybe three ways for a bell and register They get him out of there. We're gonna send Rebella topside. We haven't even finished the bottom lane quest. Look at his experience bar He's a full level behind then not even like partial Ben's almost almost up to level nine Rebelle just does get his late, but it's Ben's here He's gonna catch the wave too and he'll maintain that level lead. He'll get his level nine I mean, he was so far back, there's no way Rebella was getting any of that bot lane quest experience. So he's gonna be so far out of this game as Bork has finished, plus the pickaxe for Sven. I mean, that was a clinical play there from C9. It's rare that you see that type of like shut down for a bot lane, but yeah, I mean not. Kudos to them, APA gives up a wave. We know he's the type of mid laner that will do that, cause it gets like a plate and a wave in, but definitely worth it for C9's bot. All right, also, I mean, it means it's more a lone time for Thanatos versus the Gragas. He's been having a very successful time down there. He really does need his Trinity Force though, to see the real power from the Zahenn. So a little bit more gold for Thanatos to farm still in his 1v1, but once you get that Trinity Force in for him, then you'll see the power of the Bruiser. And since Draven has been starved so much, and Zarya's first item, Hex, played Zarya. That wasn't out of 24. That item didn't exist. My prophecy is going to be Thanatos lives a long time. Red have returned from Thanatos. He lands it on the FNB. So now, with the Grim Deliverance flashed out from the Gragas, APA doesn't have the damage. And after they get out of there. I think they could cut him off a little more. But they wanted to make the play fast because they were recalls for Red coming through. So they didn't know how long they had for a trailing play. But good escape from FNB. Still though. We were just talking about Dantos. Guess what? He's got a 3-4 stun. I feel like this... This is the end of going to be so hard to kill. And there's still no bot lane quest completed by Revello. He's gotten the Bloodthirster, but at this point they just gave up on having him in the bottom lane. No money. Yeah, no money. Sven's here. Stand aside from Revello. We'll land, but no follow-up from the rest of the team. I mean, it was an exciting pick, but it has been thoroughly shut down now, so it's going to take forever for this Raven to be a... They tried a lot too, because it was the pick into Malkai's exciting passing to get down to the level 3, but they were unable to find an actual kill, and then Malkai went into mid turret, and APA getting that mid-pryo, and that determined a lot of the rest of this game. Alright, Harold, there's a moment of truth, Genghis. Looks like we might die bot side for red. Yeah, they're throwing out. Going for APA underneath the turret. He clears up the entire wave crash and from Kaze as Curse will think up the turret and that is killed credit to the Zerry. Good. Oh no, it's Malka that got it actually, so gold on Curse, not on the Kaze. Ooh. That's less good. Yeah. But still, I think they had no business fighting the Rift Rail fight, so they made the correct choice to just make a cross map play and dive. So they did get that. Hold the immediate herald, they get it, they drop it, Blabber's not gonna go for the die, Blacial Prison lands, and they have the damage. Grim-de-Leverence will deliver a kill to Blabber. Two turrets immediately fall afterwards, B4, B9, and they defend their own. Wow, Kazeh gets the wave under, but only takes all the plates since one doesn't have enough time to take the entire turret. Maybe he's not gonna stop the back doesn't see it there. So guys it does get it off And at this point because the derivative so far behind it's kind of the cause a show for red candidates Come on. He's the only one with a lead Than it does has a thousand gold leads Ben's got a twenty five hundred gold lead. That's he's got a small lead for himself He's like the only thing keeping red in this game currently Yeah, honestly and with that little like damage output But again, I think it's just gonna be hard for them to, for Red to get any meaningful advantages in teamfights. You also know that you're working around a Renata ultimate instead of wanting as tanky as hell. That's a completed Randoans way earlier than the previous game. So you already have Randoans completed ahead of time before he even has to deal with Big Chris. Yeah. And, Red, they're trying to make a play here on another flash. That's back to back now that he's been able to flash out from these Gragas explosive barrels while Kaze is coming in for the play Good class and see nice just keep on pushing Curse actually catches APA here in the jungle. Maybe he's got Vulcan behind him So he shouldn't be in that much danger as well as Blabber They're just gonna start supplicating the camps away from curse. They have the numbers advantage They just take away the rafters. Yeah, much better stuff here this time around four cloud nine game number five headed towards the chem tech dragon this one that red should not risk everything for then it doesn't even teleported down so I would say red call it off yeah fight later once you're there he has at least some real crit items thought it's just a zeal live to fight another day and it is now gonna be five minutes till that dragon that they will have to fight for dragon soul coming up at that point unless I guess maybe you say we just think we scale better but like I don't think you're never killing anyone I mean an eight rocks with Kentek soul so hard to ever kill finish off but other other darkened but yeah same same theory there excuse me the hen and also the Seshwani yeah it gets it gets crazy plus the bailout from the Renata so even if you get the low enough and they're able to come back online as the top lane shoved in here for cause working towards that second item still The guy on red can is Kalanga that can maybe make a different staff in here He's got frosting his back pocket so not all his understanding of guy got back up the Zerry on the split bush now Labyrinth nearby as well cause he's actually jumping in onto APA trading some damage Trader right on back, the weird name, getting an APA back to safety and answering the damage. Honestly, I think we're just cruising towards Dragon's Soul here. Cloud9, I think the mentality right now should be our position is so healthy that if we just, for the next three and a half minutes, keep replacing our wards around the Dragon, then one of two things happens. Red tries to come in and take the vision coverage. We get a pick. Or they don't try, they never come in and retake the vision and then we just have to better set up for Seoul and their angle to the team fight is going to be terrible. So I think either way you're going to get advantages there. So yeah, even the, even the Callista Sentinels just keep spotting these things and keep replacing vision leading up to this dragon and then fight the actual dragon Seoul. I mean, Rageblade already done here for his vent He's already working towards next item. So They are they're going to remain powerful either way. Yeah, keeping pressure on sidelines too with both. So in is pushing here for C9 It should just have ultimate vision coverage through this whole red quadrant Rebello's just been relegated to the mid lane catching these waves over and over again So he's it's not like they're putting in a sideline to try and capitalize on oh Malki throw a nature's grasp find a pick it's a cash out because we haven't had a single cash in for the Draven Yeah, that is a cashless Draven He's broke buying stuff on credit cards. He's like, please somebody interest loan me enough for Lord Dom's or something Got a little tiny baby last whisper While blabber over here with steel caps and And uh, Randuin's waiting for him. Second item on Kaze, so this area is still going to be the primary threat now, but when I go into the game and I lighted, they got two carries you gotta worry about. Now there's essentially one that you need to worry about. Yes, Revello's there, but he's not going to be doing any of the damage, although he did finish the mortal reminder, so as we say that, he actually was able to finish that. Maybe that gives him a hope for killing Thanatos, but I honestly still think Thanatos is going to be a monster. Oh, okay! Pick up the APA this would be huge for red cannons, but APA goes between worlds and gets out of there I was a close one Draven all sent up there to hoping they could Get a cash and get an execute or something APA nice job avoids death on the side lane that has been that has been the real downfall of cloud nine a lot of picks on sidelines, so every time they do avoid one is a a large moment because objective banners are on the map so someone gets picked off and could be objective bounding cash in for red Speaking to get picked off there as word for cause a for a moment, but both of them wasn't quite there. APA wasn't quite there and Rebello, let's check in on the Draven stacks. Where's he at 341 right now? Okay, that's a decent cash in if he's able to pick it up Good influx of gold on top of whatever the kill would be worth First, Bud's van being 50 CS up over the 80 carry opponent. Especially when you factor in that there was that flash blown from Vulcan and aggressive 2v2 laning from Furgolo and Frosty. Now, I mean, Cloud9's teamfight is nasty right now. They got Mikael's. They have Bale out. They have Zen with his own revive. With Zen, Zen's completed. So Cloud9 right now, absolute monsters if they get the setup. But Red, they did the vision work. This is not easy work here. Rebello, nice danger sense there to actually not walk up to the turret. They gave up their tower in order to get that vision. Yeah, now the Nagesprass goes out. Bowsport, R'Frosty, straight in on the Sven. They have the bailout, but he can't get the damage off. Sven down there, shut down the Rebello. Teleport in now from Kaze. The Zeris on the Vulcan, and no one from C9 can even block. Flash away, Zanato's buying space. They're looking at an APA, a miracle team fight for Kaze, the Xerrius of Leesh! And Thanatos is about to be the last member of Cloud9 left off the fight. He's looking for a grim deliverance, but it's dodge by Curse. Thanatos into the passive, he's resurrecting, but he is all alone! And Radcan is Kolonga! Look for a miracle, and they'll find it today! today, Thanatos will get one on his way out, but a much needed team fight for Red. Thanatos and Flabber, Thanatos and Flabber, they're still alive, they're sticking around. Frosty's kind of low, Curse is kind of low, Thanatos is kind of trapped straight into there. He's looking for Curse, he got him! Flabber gets the kill! They're slaughtering them in the pit! And Flabber secures the dragon's soul! They didn't need the team fight, they just needed the cleanup. I told you Thanatos is kind of a god. I told you Thanatos is kind of a god. Everybody on her tentative right now. Can we get the game again a lot to you want it right now I don't think you can do it if you need the game you have been the game coming to get the honor no matter okay right now you can you put it in to see like you report people early oh yeah maybe you can make it maybe you can yeah honor it thank you I mean that was so close that looks like a Red teamfight when Thanatos goes into the passive. Grim delivered. I don't even know if the damage landed. Kirst used the twist in advance while it was going down, but I'm pretty sure he just dodged the damage. But Thanatos just holds the line. I mean, that's dance button and massive work as well. Getting that one kill heals him back up. Let's get a look at the replay because it was bad for CNI. And look at it. It was good for Red. You know, Raptor, Pins, Star. They go straight for Sten. Xen was on the tower trying to finish it out. He's dead on start. It was great fault. Malkai ult into, not unless ult flash, into Draven Execute. And then the re-engage is where, Sanatos is like, yo, guys, is this playable? They kite him out, and Xeria is over here on the top side, Kaze rips him apart, Kaze flashes, kills the last person, and then you think it's all over, but Sanatos says, no. No, no, no, no, no, we are not going home, we are not done in America's Cup. 2-0 to us! Thanatos putting the team on his back. As the catch up for Rebello didn't even get him a third item. Now Red can it's on base defense duty here. The season begins for C9. They have Thanatos in the mid lane pushing in with Baron. The rest of the team pushing in this bot side. And Red are just trying to turtle up and absorb as much of the pressure as they can. This is a crazy game 5 man. Also Red like that was a really good comeback attempt. come back attempts let's see if they can got another one in them Genghis. I mean that was a mere one scary that they were able to find up and now they got to do it in the Dragon Soul and Fosty Jets all lead it! All the Saunders, you have big nature's grasp, they got to spend again, they got to get the damage in there! Fibers down as well! C9 losing another fight as the Reds find two cards. Bad that old from the Vulcan AP saw some damage, we're in his back to safety top one up from the Anatoes, the Raid Boss is here, Kenny's doing it again! C9 top lane with the Grim Deliverance this time on the Ravello. They kite it back. Thanatos can't get in there with the damage, Cosby's looking at APA. But he has the blast code of safety. Handshake from Volk and C9 are out of there. But another nail-butter. They got another one left in him! Okay, he cannot disrespect Red. Red, these team fights, man. Oh! Red will destroy anyone except Thanatos. Yeah, he's Daftless. 2-0 or 2, working on that third item. So in terms of Frost, you just get to leave it, but then I guess the Nature's Grasp hits everybody. Let's put it inside. Yeah. And the combo here. It's a Dereo and Kragasaur. That's my own Dereo Kragasaur. That's enough. That'll do it. That'll do it. Godday 204, deathless on the Zerry. I was talking about the teams on his back, and it definitely is now. Yeah, I mean, it's hard to pin him down. You don't have you don't have points and click for the Zerry so as the Zerry scales and we get later and later The hen you can tight Very you cannot kite very no It's really hard with like sejuani ult like you can dream for it But it's also still hard to hit a Zerry because she's so mobile Now cause a still on the top side Be careful guys. There's no flash available. It's dangerous to walk up He's just gonna catch his next wave. We have three items on the carries of red candidates. Columbo. Let's catch up on C Nines then working on that fourth item APA only three items Three items of blabber three items on the top lane total damage delfinitos Definitely putting in his work and APA also surprising amount of damage there So it's a solo lanage for C9 despite his van having that monster lead the 3.0 lead in the bot side He's not doing the damage in these fights No, gotta watch the flash too cause it has flashed this time around so now he does three items Lord Dom's flash on Zerry That better be the focus for cloud nine. I'm gonna save a sip of water Kobe I imagine this next fight might just be the game decided we have elder and a man and a half split pushing right now too So he's gonna delete one more wave. Yes teleport ready. I Mean objective bounties are still on for red too So if they do win a team fight, they're gonna cash in in a very big way But this time red has to see to win one T5 though delete the whole goalie Yeah, but they got to do it outside the face that time. It was like at their turret now C9 Still have the 4.5 K golden. They still have the dragon soul They still have Sanitas raid boss frontline on killable the hen I don't think it's likely the red can do it But the problem is we just saw two miracles in a row. So it makes you want to believe Elder Dragon is a game winner that is it's so early in the game to get it to it feels like right at 30 minutes here all right keep track of mouth guy positioning these mouth guy ults from curse have been really good for red let's find FnB Sanatos after hearing one of you one on the side here he's trying to lock down the Gragas but FnB can walk away but now with Sanatos has to be careful not get caught out as well FnB continues chasing him gets the slow the rest of red are here that's off the wall not gonna land Thanatos is out there the only win condition for red is to actually kill Thanatos if he's up It's so hard for them to actually close out the fight All the dragon spawning in five seconds, it's gonna be a front to back no flanks No nonsense just a glacial fissure Prisons to start it off on a frosty right there everybody backs off So no ult on blabber now as Thanatos pulls back FNB FNB is back over the wall We're dancing for the Engage. Edge of my seat here, whoever wins this fight should just win the game. I mean, no such lani ult now. They got a little chunk on Nautilus, but not super meaningful. Now, it's out for a back in from FNB. As Sanatos choked out a little bit by Kaze right there, Frosty again. Lowest health bar we see on screen, but it's still gonna be a close fight. Sven's getting the Spears into the Elder Dragon. They're looking at the objective as they get pops across the veil. Now, Fennecote's trying to hold off FNB and nature's grasp of you. They could come down to a smite fight, but we got the Wren from C9. And I'm gonna take over onto everybody. C9 pick up the first kill. C9 pick up the next. Sven is unleashed this time around. And C9 have done it! Game five, Silver Scrapes. They deny the reverse sweep. They'll win the Elder Dragon fight, and C9 will close out the series with a victory in the America's Cup! Huge... They've done... Massive... Massive performance. I hear you, Covey. I hear you. I hope the audience hears you. I hope they hear C9 on the victory march into the base. GGs! C9 taking five! Oh, what a performance. We're kicking our mics and our chords out here without hike. We're again. I'm not. Can you hear me? Are you hearing me? Are you hearing yourself? I think we got you. I think we got Kobe right now. Either way, we got C9 continuing on in the lower bracket. We got a little hypey there in this America's Cup stream, but I think, understandably, so C9, man. a performance there. It was so close. It felt like Red were getting the moment. I mean, they were. Red had just won multiple teamfights here. Thantos clutches it with Blabber that said Juan here. Trusty Steve by his side, but that was so incredibly close. And then the final teamfight, they do a good job. This one, Flunan, actually set up well. They make him come into you so you can get the Renato ultimate and you get that big teamfight value. That hostile takeover was clutch. We're taking another look or we do we have time? I think we will probably have an interview with one of the C9 members. I hope it's a birthday. I want it. I want the birthday boy in here. And I'm hearing that we will get APA coming in here. So we'll get the wish happy birthday to APA winning on his birthday. I'm putting three hats on for the three wins of C9. Okay. Well, that one just broke. That's a bad sign. I'm going to go with one hat then GGs. They were able to pull it off. But oh my goodness, Kobe, I'm I got to check my was a cortisol levels. Is that the meme going around right now? I'm feeling it. Yeah That's the actual stress hormone. That is the stress hormone. Yeah Happy birthday to APA courtesy of Thanatos courtesy of Thanatos Vulcan that high cell Tegra for the end. Yeah, I had been saying Vulcan player of the series the whole time Vulcan had so many insanely good games. So it's pretty hard for me. Honestly I'm between that doesn't Vulcan over the course of the series. I'm still happy to give it to Vulcan I mean that hostile thing over at the end in my opinion was The entire time and they literally already had lost the game if it wasn't for the antithos I'm not gonna get three of these hats in my head. I'm not sure. I don't have enough real estate up here Let's look at chat again. Let me see. I'll look at chat. Oh Okay, we're looking at my stronghold So the problem is or Vulcan who you watch at I can go here. It's not it's not playing nice Kind of get like under that there we go. Okay. That's two I want to do it. I feel like APA might get a kick out of this. I don't know. Maybe it's just me getting a kick out of it though. Yeah, I'm doing this for myself more than anybody here. Yeah. Okay. Three three for the three wins. C9 did it, baby. We want him to survive. I'm seeing a lot of Thanatos here. Oh, it's mixed. It's mixed though. Vulcan healthy Vulcan representation again. This one is hard. And those gets it the clutch at the end. I mean, Game 5 pressure, right? You got to give it over to Game 5. Yes, the Elder Dragon, Olt was really big from Vulcan as well. I have to say, Vulcan's barred game. Woo! Did he win that game for them? That was insane. Really good games, all series long from him. The All-Star one was huge too, but Thanatos, very consistent, very big games and had to clutch after they just got wiped mid in this Game 5 where they're in elimination game. So yeah, it's going to be happy to get that one. White mid wiped pot as well, but we will still chat with APA who is not in our play of the series conversation, but still had a couple of good games in there as well. That's Zoe counterpick on the azir. I'm curious his thoughts on that one, because that looked tough to play. And the more I think about it, I'm like, that that's got to be like a pretty tough counterpick to deal with as a mid laner. Yeah. All right, well first before that let's listen in on C9 game 5 comms They got chopper. Yeah, I'm on the impenetrace. Yeah. Maybe that was from base guys? Yeah. Nice, nice. We got him. First right of him. Second right of him. Nice. I'm looking at that. I think maybe one person should take it. I'm going to take it and then. You can just follow us guys. I'm going to go here. I'm going to flash, I'm going to flash, I'm going to flash. I'm going to flash. I'm going to flash too. Nice. Nice. Let's go back. Let's go back. Yeah, nice. Nice. I figured it out by now. That was the clutch. There we go. we got the hidden one in the bag. I like the commitment. Yeah, we're trying. We're trying our best. Again, we're going to see if APA gets a laugh out of it. It's birthday boy. Let's get some more on you. Honestly, though, there were so many clutch moments in that one. And you could tell the comms, though, not rush at all. They're like, OK, yeah. One person tickets. They're a little health. You got this. But again, what a stressful game number five. I want more of those, man. You're almost about to get reverse swept. Yeah. And again, I mean, hearts out to Redcans, Kalonga. They gave so much fight there. Especially like Rabella was completely shut down, but he's able to get that shut down on Sven. Finally cash out, you know, get that third item. I didn't know we were gonna see the third item, Draven. Cause they pulls back out the Zerry. He's clutching some team fights. They keep on wiping them with these Maokai ultimates, but not enough. Not quite enough for C9. Yeah, they still have a lot of stuff to look at, but there are definitely some bright spots. I think the two bright spots we talked a lot about this whole series were Vulcan and Thanatos, But here's the rest of the brackets. The excitement today will just continue tomorrow. Oh, all right. A close game five in the lower bracket, but Furious Sentinels are coming up next. That'll be tomorrow's matchup. And man, now I'm hoping it delivers just like this one day. Because both those two out there opponents in the upper bracket to start things off. And yeah, I mean, Cloud9 versus Red Candid's was close. So what do you think about Furious Sentinels of Kobe? Honestly, it should be a banger. I think both, both jungle support combos are really, really good and very thoughtful about how they play the game. Sentinels, one of the biggest things to me is we've got comms listening in from this tournament and they've switched mostly to English. Yeah. So that's a new development. They were speaking a lot in Korean before and who you was doing a lot of translating, which was slowing them down. But we've seen the improvements from Hombok Synergy with Darkwings and Hombok Synergy with Hoohi and the communication going along the way. So I think that matchup's gonna be insane. I'm very excited for that one. We're waiting for stage interviews to wrap up before we can get APA to chat with us here on stream. So while we're doing that, Kobe, we're gonna get more hats on you, man. I feel like- I'm gonna go look at some plays. Do you wanna look at some plays instead? Yeah. You can go put more hats on. You can go look at some plays. I don't think I can fit any more hats on my head, Kobe. It's not that much real estate up here. Oh, but no, I'm here. We have APA ready. Okay, let's get it. All right, he can save us right here. So once we have APA in, oh, APA, can you hear us? Hello? Yes, hello. Happy birthday! Happy birthday! Happy birthday, man! Let's go! All right, first of all, that was it. Yeah, very low off wind, but I did win, so nice. It counts. First of all, coming hot off that five game series off of the series yesterday as well, they're kind of all rolling into each other. What is the energy level like? What is the mentality of the team right now? Because running the lower bracket, you know, you're going to constantly be facing elimination and have to keep up the focus. I mean, I don't think we care too much about playing from a lower bracket. I think we just care about how we're playing right now. I don't think we're playing particularly too good. Like, some of us are still suffering from jet lags. Some of us are starting to feel a little bit sick from stuff that's happening. But I don't think that's an excuse to just how poorly we're playing. Like, I'm happy we got the win today. I'm happy he got the win on my birthday. But I think people should expect better of us. And we should not be showcasing the series we had today and yesterday. But I think we can do better and we will do better going. I don't know what I play if it's tomorrow or the next day. But for whatever that is, I think we should do better. It'll be the next day. It's going to be a Sentals versus Furia tomorrow. And then the loser of that, you'll match up against another best of five. But I do want to give some credit to Red Cans Colonga as well for very unique drafts in games four and five. specifically the Zoey. I want to get your thoughts on what it was like because I haven't seen a Zoey in a long time. I know it's played a lot in like NACL backgrounds casting in tier two, but I feel like I haven't seen it since coming up to the LCS level. When's the last time you played against the Zoey in a tournament setting and what was that matchup like for you? I don't recall the last time I played against it. I did watch a lot of League and they played Zoey a lot in the PCS specifically, sometimes in the OPL as well. Like a lot of times when I'm watching like, you know games 3 4 5 in the PCS Don't just pick Zoe because it's a champion that's strong in lane because a lot of prior. It's they would have skirmish so Like I was at least aware he could pick it because I didn't think he would pick it But like I was aware that that champion was like in the roster of viable mids into a zero And I think he did a good job that game Yeah, else he can as well. So We'll be cooking. All right next next matchup you're gonna be watching the game tomorrow the game tomorrow is gonna be between Furia and Sentinels and and then I don't know I'm assuming you guys want to rematch with Furia is that is that what you're looking for? To be honest I don't care who we face I think we should if we are like playing at our best we should be both I think if we play like we did today and yesterday we will lose but hopefully we don't play like we did today and yesterday and we just play well and win. Awesome. Well, hey, I'm sure you'll be watching closely to see who you're matching up against, but we've written for you either way. With that being said, it is your birthday, APA. And we have a special surprise for you, actually. So I believe somebody on site in the room with, you know, should be able to deliver you a present from the broadcast here. Happy birthday. Are we gonna sing it for him, Kobe? Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you Happy birthday APA Happy birthday to you happy birthday buddy. You got a win on your birthday. I'm sure it's a big deal. Enjoy that cake Actually, do you like chocolate? Can you take a bite of that? He did. It looks delicious. He had some. How was it? It's good. It's good. It's good. It's good. It's good. All right, we're gonna let you get back to the team and get to prepping and get ready for your next matchup Thank you so much for joining us. I think it's it. There we go. We had the birthday boys cake on his birthday. He didn't laugh at the hats though. I wasn't going to say anything, but he didn't even point it out. So there we're going to he's got bigger things. He's got bigger things on right now. True. So all right. That's going to do it for us. Exciting day full best of five. There's more excitement on the line tomorrow. Fira versus sentinels going to be a banger. Yeah, I'll be there. You'll be there with Isaac. Yep, me and Azil will be casting that one. You'll be waiting in the wings for Saturday. Thank you, Kobe. Fun day today. Thank you for joining us, everybody. We'll see you tomorrow for another Best of Five. C9, the visiting team, the hope of North America, favorites going into their playoffs and struggling in their finals. Take on the hometown Red Candidts, Columbia. Frosty actually spotted out. A lot of the player paranoia will be used. Pop Lawson will hit under two members As Kaze takes Rivergwall in, straight into the waiting arms of Phantathos, Vulcan lands the Cosmic Binding on the three, including his top laner. But the stunned follow-up will mean the team fight follow-up from C9. They'll get two, they'll get three. Cursus jumping in, and the Earth entrance doesn't land on anybody, as Regis keeps quite fine the CC Vulcan frontlining for APA for Sven. And it's the dragon's soul, the C9, and a teamfight wipe out top of it. Sven jumps over the wall, Sven goes crazy right now, and Red just adorning it to the flop. The last group from the side of the flash, it doesn't mean Will close him out, as Revello on touch right now, a double kill for FNB, C9. They were looking for a miracle, they didn't find it there, as Kaze links up with the rest of Red, it's Flabrin' Vulcan. running back to the outcome in the bottom lane, but it's red, hunting them down. All right, Thanatos is backing under the fountain. Will Red Candid's Kalunga go for the pentakill for Rebello? If I know Stevie Lulteams, I think we all know the answer to that question. Get him! Off the precipice of Silver Scrave's Thanatos under the fountain. Rebello with a pentakill in America's cup! We're going to game five! Tannitus and Flabber, they're still alive, they're sticking around. Rosti's kind of blown, Kirst is kind of blown, Tannitus is kind of dropped right into there. He's looking for Kirst, he got him! Flabber gets the kill! They're slaughtering them with a pit! And Flabber secures the dragon! Tannitus trying to hold off that friend's mean nature's wrath. Use it, could come down to a smite fight, but we got the run from C9 and a hotknife. C9 pick up the first kill, C9 pick up the next, Zvan is unleashed this time around, and C9 has done it!
