get a chance to jump into the Neo 3 demo some more. And I really want to because guess what?
It looks like Neo 3 is an Alzheimer. Legit. And here's the weirdest part is that I kind
of felt it, like review wise, Neo 3 is like going down as one of the best souls likes
there is and it's like whoa even from my my first 15 minutes with that demo where I was like okay yeah
I'll try it um and I'm like this seems better like this seems a lot better from combat to
world to engagement to stuff like even from the first 15 to 30 minutes I was like dude this seems
good like I'm actually I actually want to play this I was I was very quickly going to be like
Like, yeah, I'll try it out and that might be it.
So all the reviews came out, and they're all at like,
eight, nine, and 10s.
It's like, whoa, holy hell.
What does Neo3 do better than Neo2?
So immediately I can tell you the combat is better.
It gives you two different varieties.
They don't lock away the Ninja class and a Samurai
class behind two different things.
And if you choose which one, they don't do that.
They just let you switch between either one at any time,
which is really cool.
They both have completely different play styles.
Gone is the ways of having to key away all the goops,
where you don't have to key charge them out.
When you're running around as ninja,
you just get a ton of stamina.
So that alleviates a huge problem of Neo 1 and 2.
In both of those games,
dude, you have nothing to work with
on your first playthrough.
It isn't until the end of the game,
if not New Game Plus,
you're actually starting to play the game, which is kind of, which is kind of shit.
I, I knew one, it was new.
So I was like, fine with it, but I really felt it in Neo two.
And your stamina, your key is so valuable, man, that you don't really get
access to really use it until much later, right?
Until way later in the game.
So that like, that always was cumbersome to me.
And it didn't help that the level design was rough.
So, the other aspect of it is that this game is actual, like, traversal.
This game is actual, um, actual world map and design, where by you going to places,
it's almost like it's not Elden Ring in size, but it's very large zone now, where you go
to hot spots that have a bunch of enemies and shit like that.
So have you watched Neo2 Combat Highlights?
I mean, I don't really care about the combat highlights of it.
probably has the best combat of his souls like, I just don't want to deal with the
rest of the game. What I did not get to mess around with in Neo 3 is really how
they handle loot, because that was the other aspect of the game that really
threw me off was like the loot explosion of Neo 1 and 2 was okay with it in
Neo 1 but another game of doing that I was like mmm yeah this is this is
this is something that is that is like dropping me off a little bit. So I
I need to see how that is. Loot's the same in three. Here's the thing. Loot's explosions are
allowed to happen. That's allowed to happen. It's what you do with it, what you do with all that
shitty loot, and how do you translate to something that makes sense? As an example chat,
I played a Neo-like last year, and it was close to being one of my games of the year.
Like, we could have been, depending on the year, my game of the year. And that was Kazan.
Kazan did the same shit. Here's just a ton of loot. And it wasn't as much as Neo, but in Kazan,
they, it was very streamlined what you do with this. How do you translate this into making
yourself better? All this crap? Like, how do you turn the crap into something valuable?
And for some reason, that process was a lot easier to absorb in Kazan. And I think the
I think the reason is is that NEO's menu system is very convoluted and figuring out like oh, you know, I have to do this I have to do that so bog the game down.
I don't know if it did necessarily as much as I was like it didn't greatly enhance Kazan.
As long as we're under the same perspective Kazan is just a Neo, right?
We all can like agree with that Kazan was pretty much in my opinion a better Neo2 without a character creator.
So I I loved it, man.
Like that game gave me the vibes of a souls like that of which I have not
played in a long time.
And here's the cool thing.
It looks like it wasn't just me that loved that shit.
Kazan's going down as this sort of like souls like souls like cult classic
where even I think IGN or one of the bigger publishers just recently put
out a list of the top 10 souls likes.
And Kazan came in at number three.
Number one was obviously Lies of Pea because it is like Lies of Pea is is legit amazing, but man, like I

However, when Neo1 came out, I'm like, the combat in this is better than Soulslikes and then Souls games.
games because Neo was the first really big budget souls like like oh this is a souls
game and that was different that was actually new at the time there weren't that many very
large production souls likes in the twenty seventeen timeframe when Neo one came out.
So anyway I'm like I think the combat in this is better than than Bloodborne or Dark
Souls one two or three like it's just better and people were like blasphemy.

1440p is for like the 10% of people that might be watching.

The 1080 is the old one, which is being spit out from my computer.
Before it just wouldn't, it just wouldn't work.

1080p should still be the normal stream that everybody watches.
