I Transcending history and the world, a tale of dudes and souls, in eternal control. I'm gonna get you, get your soul Just give me three more I'm gonna get you, get your soul Just give me three more Give me three more To die To die To die the he'll what's up dudes right chat we're back uh... we got a job to do man we have a job to do we need to finish the fight brother uh... there were all the looks like we're all good hi hello chat i have a going the Crawford graphic, thank you. Sorry I could not continue this yesterday. It was Steve's birthday. So, you know, we're back at it. We're back at it. How far am I from finishing the game? Well, that thing in the bottom left says 70, or the bottom right says 75%. So we'll see. We shall see. Turn up all these other, there'll be G notifications, hold on a second. There we go. There we go. Beep, beep, beep! Let's get into this thing. Let's get into this thing so we can get out of sub mode, you know? And it's stuck in sub mode for a while. Thank you, crow for graphic. And moon, as well. Thanks for the five dudes. Just a Kevin. Should we give them a beatnik slacker, Rocket Raccoon, JJ24XD. Thanks, dudes. Appreciate it. They're all these bonuses. Character bottles, special content. be 300 enemies trusted companion charm Leon raccoon roundup scoot scoot thank you the Matilda interest a let me get to 300 increases bullet penetration map of the roads chronic Care center locations of all the rascals. Yeah, yo, what is heat geez? Thanks for the 25 gift subs, man. Whoa, what the hell is going on? What the hell is going on? Yeah, it's just Claire Straight up it's just Claire Wow, what's the stuff in shadow, huh? There's all this shadowy bullshit Leon's wheels and oh man Oh, I have to buy these? I have to purchase the character models? Challenges Challenges complete. Oh, I have a lot now. Oh Oh, no now. I suddenly have an awful lot Let's see this character model, dude, but this is now being touted as what being the most um like the highest quality character model character models and and video games or some shit What digital foundry saying are the graphics guys damn they really let you zoom in whoa Whoa sexiest middle-aged man ever I have bad news for you If you think 48 is middle-aged I have bad news for you That's 35 That is indeed 35 dude the fact that they let you zoom in so much means they must have a shit ton of confidence in these character models dude it must mean that you have a shit ton of confidence in this stuff man I wish you could change like the lighting stuff like that. I wish you could. Bitch is still baby-faced. The gun. They don't call them low-end for nothing. Jesus man, yeah. The level of detail on this shit is actually insane. This shit is actually insane. So this is obviously the cutscene model but even in game he looks like in actual gameplay combat he looks ridiculous just ridiculous they made him look as cool as he possibly could you know like that was the thing is like they almost had a goal we want to make one of the most attractive characters ever not just attractive like physically attractive but like the dudes will think he's so cool and the chicks will think he's so hot which is like the best place to be in with the main character there's only one other like character I can say that has really hit that and it's probably cloud I think just in general at the whole point of like the reason cloud and being the generic ass like main RPG guy Dante does a pretty good example of it yeah yeah it's a good example because Leon's always always already been that way you know he's He's always been a character that literally appeals to everybody it isn't just like there's very few people that just don't like Leon Like as a main Resident Evil protagonist like he pretty much is Some people will obviously say I like Chris. I like Jill but Leon is obviously the one that is like well Leon's so freaking cool Type of shit. I might be dead yet. No. No. I'm yapping. I'm yapping right now Mootee, thank you Leon has the same chokehold on women that Tifa does on men I Don't think that's true at all I think Leon has a chokehold on women and men and I think Tifa also has a chokehold on women and men My dude the amount of people that I have seen going all the way back to like 20 to 30 years ago That cosplayed Tifa and shit like even all the girls love Tifa like that isn't a That isn't a thing that's specifically towards like one gender or something like that. No, dude. These characters are universally beloved type shit Everybody loves them And then you get like Kratos, you know, which is obviously like male power fantasy dude in many ways Nathan Drake to a degree. Yeah To a degree to think about it. It's like, where is the large amount of like fandom the appeal for this character where is it like boiled down to but really think about it snake yeah snake is mostly for like dudes and shit mostly for dudes continue and there is a reason why Raiden was introduced to the series chat you understand that right we do we do we not have a comprehension of why Raiden being the main character Metal Gear 2 was the way it was done it was to diversify their audience a bit damn we did everything in here and it was great and I have no shotgun ammo hold a second damn I have no way to make it either wonderful what happens when you try to kill everything literally kill everything the ps5 pro version of the game has felt nearly flawless Nico nearly flawless like it's it's in the visuals are insane. It's mostly 60 FPS. There's been a couple of opportunities where I've seen a drop into like 40 ish. But visual quality is nuts. So I think here's here's the crazy part. Guess guess what's already happening chat. You get one game that makes the PS five pro look good. Guess what's already being reported in several places. PS5 Pros are selling out. When they've been in stock for a very long time, people are buying them out now. So now it's like people really did not have a tangible reason to invest in a PS5 Pro with something like really, really like at least like a big new game amplifying the game above what it should be. And GTA 6 is obviously like the next big game that will do that. So it also is the fact that the chance and likelihood of the PS5 Pro getting more expensive is much higher now than it is back then. This was the same shit I was saying, Chad. I don't think the PS5 Pro is necessarily worth it in any way. But as soon as you get new games, offering new visual experiences that are above the PS5 that are tangible and noticeable and different, As soon as you get that, they'll start selling like new big killer app games, GTA, Resident Evil 9. And it's already happening with RE9 and RE9 already looks great on PC, you know. So yeah, the amount of tweets and threads I've read on people that are like looking for a PS5 Pro right now and I can't find one in stores, I'm gonna have to order it on Amazon or some shit and all they're sold out on Amazon. like they just got more like I'm like oh wow they're actually desirable for the first time ever people even want this system which was not really happening it's no reason to have this shit um anyway would the PC version run better for me oh yeah no I would definitely probably prefer to run this on PC but call me curious you know I was just I was just curious yeah it's almost like consoles don't sell themselves a novel thought it's almost like consoles by themselves don't mean dick it's more important that hey the games being better on the console is like the entire point of it so I mean yeah and dude like the comparisons between PS5 Pro and the PS5 version of this game are like night and day. It's pretty stark, man. So I think we did everything in Braccoon City. I think we did everything. Audio, and this is very low. Hold on a second. There we go. Ramon, thank you very much for the five Gysips, dude. Let's move it! Only one place to go from Come here. We escaped. Let's see what else we got. I wonder if the garage. There was definitely talks about the Kendo gun shop. Oh, wow. There's definitely talks about the Kendo gun shop being accessible in a note somewhere earlier. So we're going to have to check that out. Oh, oh, it is. Oh This reload animation with the flashlight is nuts dude the amount of character annums that Leon has in this game I was in prison credible Was the amount of like crazy unique interaction stuff and many things you'll probably many will never see on a first playthrough I'd be crazy if that was accessible I think it was Susie and it was on Twitter and I responded to it. Leon in the concept art has a wedding ring on and I'm like, dang, that's crazy. Leon got married and he's still saving himself for Ada. That's insane. What a, what a twist, right? To get married for like maybe 10 plus years and to still be a virgin for his beloved Ada, even though he's ma- what a Chad. Man, what a Chad. That's crazy. I can't wait for that part to show up in the story can't believe it something's about to happen here yeah you give me that med injector cuz I'm I'm about to get bit. I'm not gonna do it. Extra close up. Uh, excuse me? Oh my god. Bro, this is stupid. God! Saves of your own medicine, huh? You're still alive? I wanted to get the animation, but you're not. Ooh! Ooh! Really? Oh, wow, it's an ACOG scope. Interesting. Jesus, bad day in here. still don't have any shotgun rounds they all got any more of those it's got a checkmark next to it can I discard it I want to keep it I want to keep it forever um yeah hold on this increases damage but increases sway do it I think standard or casual whatever the hardest difficulty was at the start that's what we started with a bolt thrower ain't no bloke ain't no bloke thrower I feel like I'm playing Fallout. Yo, uh, Labib, thanks for the 20, man. Apparently guns with scopes attached are glitched and you can't get the finishers. with scopes attached are glitchy can't get finishers huge evercrisis part 3 lori yeah I did check it out and it let's talk about that eventually we're interesting scoped weapons cannot get that get the finisher animes I guess that makes sense but it also sucks okay there's always shotgun rounds in kendo Sorry about that, babe. What if it means the same for red dot sights? I knew there'd be a flashback here. You're a cop. You're supposed to know something. How did this happen? It was fucking expensive. They did the worst. Wasn't there a Kendo DLC? I'm so sorry. Never again. Was it non-canon? Yeah, there's like a survivor's DLC. Whoa. Uh, yeah. Compaction shock on the boost, impressive spread, refers to firm grip, interesting. That's the old shot, yeah. It's a bit closer to the riot gun. Maybe we just, for the sake of, for the sake of fascination. That's the right one, right? 990TAC, the W870 police. Wow, the TAC is worth four? default, but I wonder if it upgrades better. I wonder if it upgrades better. Car is a firm grip to keep the power in check. Be up for precision shooting, thought sight can be attached. TAC is amazing. Don't do it. All right. And I got stuff on it. I mean, I got stuff on it. TAC has just been way stronger in your experience. Okay. I mean, I have the add-ons, I know. Uh, let me just get this thing out of my inventory then for now. I'm weird that they would... Is there an opportunity for you to go this entire time without getting a shotgun? Is that why that pops up there? Is it? Weird. You're one of the very beginning of the game? Do you? I'm trying to remember. You do! You get, like, the sawed-off one, like, the short-ass shotgun. The stubby, yeah. God. And it has been perpetually, like, 6 p.m., for seven hours. Is this bitch about to throw a helicopter at me? Or even worse? I couldn't save them. I can stop bastards like you. Oh good. Whoa! I Okay Wow Got a reload I got a reload my plane I got a reload my axe This guy hangs out for a while oh my god I Yo, hey yo what? I Go on damn ow God damn carry the car I tried Bang, bang, bang. I wonder if he has like a similar health amount to the end of RE2. He didn't drop anything. No new outfit or anything? Jeez. Could I really have gone over here and like fought him in the basketball court? Swing it! Oh, what? the there's no time for playing around axle bronzo thank you time for playing around Did that... did that prompt show up before I was interacting with it? Or did it tell? No? Huh. Weird. So I did... it did something. I don't know if it's for a reason. Orphanagee. Did somebody there's a giant wild-eyed lab under here? Over there. Oh, shit. Matthew Orphanagee, sherry. There's not much left of it. Heading underground to look for Grace. I just turned up the volume and I just leaned in and I turned up the volume hold on my old knees. That is very dark. Wait, what? Oh. Looks like, why does this look so designed out here? Oh, because it is. Jesus, this looks cool. Holy crap. Wow. Dude, the environmental art is nuts. I'm hearing something? Good. I still need scrap. Thank God, nothing for scrap. Cool! If there's one thing that I think a lot a lot of modern level design is picking up from from soft shit Just gonna throw it out there the whole aspect of getting a wide view of when you enter a new area and Seeing the places you'll eventually go to even if it's minor right even if it is not Actually that impactful. I just walked left walked right, but like the scale of like I was there now I'm here now. I'm going there now. I'm heading here like the vista to give you the points of like this is where you've gone to This is where you've been. That feels great. It just feels really goddamn good And even when games like neo3 picked up on it, it was good. I was like this is cool the level designs way better This to scale. Yeah, you can call it that Yeah, it happened a few times in RE4, in OG RE4. Instead of like every corner being a mystery, you know? of the I guess that's what I'm talking about. Plant 240SX. I guess this is messed up. Jesus. That is a big ass sinkhole dude. I'd like to love that loan at Leon is so corny AF even though I was in his late 40s dude he he went through the 90s as a teenager he's definitely going to be corny all right do you see what hairstyle he has I don't know what kind of dipshit idiot would wear their hair with like a middle part in the year 2026 which is what this is but only a dipshit like Leon would and it just looks stupid you should get one of those fuckboy haircuts that looks Looks like a Chiapet, like on top of his head. Wait. Wait. Wait. Thank herb. Hey Leon, where's your low taper fade? Where is it dude? Wait, am I drunk? I'm drunk. I can have the chat too much. VCR left something behind. She's just keeps going. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Finally reached the bottom. This is one very deep hole. I wish they uncalled it a big asshole with a big asshole. God damn it. Five bullets! What the hell are we doing here? Yeah, I might have a lot of healing. Look at this reload animation. Oh, there's something. There's something chunky over there Coming back for you Open up open wide come on I think up for the handgun. Sorry for problems. Why didn't I shit? Oh. Well, that one's close. That was by the damn armor. I can reload my knife. As soon as you found out about removing scopes, your semi-auto rifle became your favorite. I could see that. Yeah. I definitely could see that I still use mine the bolt action is long range Get all this shit The mire oh my god All right, I gotta be paying attention. This shit is everywhere. I keep getting hit. Not again. Can't let it happen again. They're pretty much as bare traps. That was lucky. So you see the size of that bullet? Holy shit. That shit was like this big. Looks like a 50 cal around Anti-matter yeah of why are they screaming at lungs of death of death of death I'll kill every player. Oh my whole body. Now they always die. It's like a plant boss from DMC-5. Well, I mean, they came from somewhere. Capcom's obsession with plant bosses? That came from somewhere. This is a plant 67. Yeah, that's how they modernize it. There's gonna be something over here. Give me my loot. Come on. My loot? Oh Yo block the Ripper, thank you So this is a different underground facility that Umbrella made a hell of a long time ago. and the one that we visited in RE2. Even further down. What? Whatever it is, clearly wasn't meant to be found. What? Yeah. You're telling me. Tricell, shit. Tricell's only an RA5. Huh. It's the literal same-ass tricell barrels. They're an R-E-5. You spend the story so far? No. So, this guy goes to, like, a town that he's visited before, the main character really on right. Goes to a town that he's visited before. And he has to find a girl. Because the girl needs help. Anyway on his way there he finds all these creatures and monsters. They're like turtles and they can fly sometimes. And so he takes him out and he eventually makes it to like the big castle. And he finds his brother Luigi. Rest is history. There it is. There it is. Delicious. Your jacket is now dry. Can I blow these things? I probably can. Caution. Compressed gas. Oh, I'm going to use it. Better believe it. Try it. No. Do it. No. What if I need to save it? I think it's like... wait a minute... is that a hunter? Aw, shit. Uh... I won't be fighting these. Definitely not. Definitely won't be fighting those. They just stay in there the whole time. The whole time. What's with these brain locks? I don't like them. Looks like goat's sea. The door open- don't look that up. Door opens and it's fucking goat's sea. Don't look that up. early internet shit just trust me don't look it up I'm glad I still don't know what blue waffle is also I'm just assuming don't look that up either just don't just make it stay pure I'm glad I am I don't know if it's traumatizing then that's why I'm glad I haven't seen it Can I loot this place now before shit hits the fan? You think Leon has an Ada shrine? Like collectibles and toys and shit? I feel like it's an Ada shrine somewhere in his house, it's hidden, he hides it from his wife, 100%. 4500, damn. Where is that? What could it be? Huh. PSAA? Who the hell are these guys? Oh shit. I'm not wanted around here. Oh, shit. Jesus. Getting shot. I tried to parry it, you can't parry gunshots like you can already for I want to parry the gunshots god damn it and I want the guy to react to it holy shit he's buried gunshots really guys what a bitch of all of the These are the residents, they're evil. Wow, that really hurt. Dude, what? Where in the fuck? Are you shooting me through the goddamn floor? The answer is emphatically yes Are you lighting me up through the floor more importantly? I'm just going to my flashlights on shut up they're blind everything in this game blind It really hurts. Oh! Getting shot really hurts! Jesus! Okay, these guys get some cheap shots on you, dude. Let's see if I can make this go better. of the death of death of death of of I Saw you, bro Hot yeah, please don't provide any cover for me. They don't provide any cover for you two of the hell Oh shit! Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit Damn bro, okay, okay riot shield guy suddenly became a really big problem What does this do Hey, man, the whole point of that is that you have to know I am that's like the point Smoke bomb does nothing Fucker. You guys are out here playing CSGO and shit. And I'm here with slow aim. I don't know. Where the shit? I love to shoot this freaking guy. Oh my god, dude. I have no grenades either which is making this just as hard. Holy shit. 23 dudes My ADS speed is so slow, it's insane dude. I Still have not found a viable Functional method of aiming in this game. I still have not found one my ass is always cooked Hey, my sister, what? I don't want the game to take over aiming for me. I want aiming to feel good. I just have not come across options that make it feel good yet. And it's funny because on OG RE5 and like RE4 it's not an issue. In RE4 Remake it was an issue. And then you have to like dial in the settings and shit. Any adjustments I've made, I have to get used to it because that doesn't feel as natural. for you at probably not gonna come down until I jump of of the complaint multiplayer map I'm playing Ring Around the Rosie with his brother. Goddamn dude. This guy's taking me literally for a ride. Alright. Well. That was kind of fun. Yeah I think the idea of turning your, trying deceleration and acceleration all the way up, I think the idea of turning your, what's it called, scope speed much higher because Does it also effects regular aiming speed? Bad. Did I've been messing with these controls the whole game? In all honesty, I think this is one of my biggest criticisms of this experience. I have spent way too much goddamn time in this menu and it's taken me out of the game way too much I Honestly, I think it removes an entire point from whatever score. I'm getting it Even though the options are there I think the fact that you have to twiddle and fiddle this menu so much to even get it to feel normal is Stupid. I think that's actually stupid Should not be this way dude It should not feel like insanely lumbering when you first get it and then you kind of get it way figured out And it still feels weird when you aim and shit It's part of the game. I have not enjoyed at all It's dialing in aiming settings. I don't I don't like it Doesn't feel like it needs to be this obtuse was a liquor in there yeah and to be real like RE4 Remake had the same similar issues aiming in that game felt very weird until you got the right settings You can like dial it in. Uh-huh, it's back there. I went the right way. Or did I? I guess I did. Are you giving me something else too? Uh-huh. The attack, I think, backs out all the damage on the attack. Extra stability. I'm about to legit try that. I think I am going to try that. I might just take the sniper rifle and swap it out for the other one Do I have magnum rounds I can buy? No, I do not. Do I want to mess with the hatchet? No. Do smuzzle rise. This is in here. Oh, what the shit? This is a safe point. Current facility operation status auto processing green network systems online environment control green disposal systems green level two guards now operating at 82% system access must be performed manually to strict area shit and then I really backs out this gun except that too shit I have so much points of a quam guess I'll just buy the other stuff that's in here like a joint three shotgun shells or 600? Sure. Sure. But they do not sell big boy ammo. They don't sell Requiem ammo. You found some good controller settings for both first and third person from top to bottom. 10, 11, 10, 5, framing, 5, 5, 10, 10. I am I'm willing to top to bottom, 10, 11, 10, 5, 5, 5, 10, 10. I'm gonna find out. Might be okay. Get to the tail. What am I looking at? Oh, I'm back. We have return. Okay. I think I'm going to take this ACOG scope off. I think I don't like it. Wow, this is very RE5-ish in here. and infecting others, and believe Spencer solved that with Elpis. The connections sealed Raccoon City to save it for themselves, and it's been waiting here ever since. This is as far as we could get. If the wrong password is entered, the Ark will be destroyed and Elpis will be lost forever. So tell me, Grace, what's the password? I don't know. Of course you do. You're the... Leon! Don't embarrass yourself, Mr. Kennedy. You can't beat me. Holy shit. You still need me, right? I'm gonna cry. Come on. I got you. You're like a million bucks. Leon's insane. Is it now? I tried to carry it Wow That's a pissing me off I'm liking this aim by the way the settings is to give me gave me a pretty good Good. Oh god. Aiming is really very nice with these current settings. Alright, well... That likely could have gone... worse. I wonder if you can sneak up on a liquor and give them to Hema Globan. That's my issue man. I always get the grace section and I end up wasting everything. And by wasting I mean KILLING EVERYTHING! As the chick that is not the uh, it's like The game's way more challenging to kill enemies with when you're with her and I end up killing everything, and Leon just runs through. I think it's almost guaranteed that Leon's gonna run through this way so I've killed all of the goddamn lickers. Story of my life. That sound of that blast oh my god bro the sound design I was like what am I stepping on over here getting all these empty bottles and bullets it's like the game is giving me these options and for some reason I just said murdering all of them also was safe I'm not going to be as easy to take out if I don't have real acid. Well, the box, the box. I think I almost have enough space to log around man imagine if we didn't get all the upgrades for grace here she would have such a shitty inventory I can turn that into scrap, too. That's right. Silent K, thank you. I'm gonna run back first room Very good Very good You do get too close to lickers, they eventually like smell you. I'm going to leave it there. All right, Leon. Be careful. I need to get going too. Leon's taking it very slow. Nice. He's definitely not going to be in here anymore. Definitely right there. He's right in here. No issues. We save again? The blind hope? What do you mean? I predict my death will come for them. This is why they have hope. I was wrong, and I am plagued by guilt. Happiness cannot be achieved at the expense of others. I think that's enough for today. Why did you accept my request for an interview? Oh, oh, oh. Who is that? Is that one of your subjects? Of course not. She was alone in the world. I took her in to make amends. Is she perfectly normal? Just an average child needing a home. She is my hope. Aren't you beautiful? Would you like to hold her? Yeah, it's totally grace. She said the hope thing. What's her name? Grace. Grace. Is there anything else she'd like to tell me? I've said my piece. I only hope it serves as a requiem for those who have passed away. Let's do this. Okay. Well, I don't have the password. What else can we do? It's okay. There's enough to light up the forest. Any wrong code will do. It'll destroy all this. Let's try this. In case whatever it takes. I can buy you some time. No. No, no, but I have an idea. I trust you. I trust you. So, the prodigal daughter of the turns... I know the password. Fulfill your destiny. Whoa, no. No. I'm just, I'm skipping this. I don't accept these credits. That wasn't even like, oh my god, dude. What? What? This is actual, this is actual trash. What the fuck? This is actual trash. I have no clothes. You return to the point of the game just before... Yeah! Yeah, you think? This is so weird, where they're like, hey, so you want to go back and flip it? Wait, what the fuck, wait, then why did we do that? What? Then why did we just go through that? Why'd I just have to watch Leon get his head blown off? What the hell? What why was there even a choice if one is just awful hold up what Yeah, I was right. It's hope. Well, it's a damn it. All right, all right, this is it all right Can't believe I watched that I can't believe I watched Capcom blow Leon's head off I couldn't believe I just saw that What are you doing, Grace? Spencer repredded what he did. Well done. You promised. Yes, but I would let him live Mr. Kennedy I give you the honor of Experiencing my power first time There's nothing special about me. I was never any kid Ow, oop, oop! Oh, shit, oh, oop! It's a cure. It's just a cure. It's just a cure. I am humbled by my master's genius. Your research was wrong. No, this wasn't a weapon. There was never a key. Spencer's paper was obviously incomplete. There was no connection between grace and them. Do you know how much time and money I'm wasting? That's so westerner. To see the genius without this, all virus-based weapons are useless. The world order would be thrown into chaos. We wanted a weapon. Instead, Spencer gave us an axe. I will carry his torch and bring his vision to life. You. You and Spencer were a means to an end. Yeah, he avoided you all. Spencer defied us and paid the price with his life. He was nothing. You are nothing but an imitation. It's over, Victor. The connections is done with you. of the of of the works very fast I'll come down. All of it. Please, my little baby. That's gonna go! You got something! No! No! No! No! You got something! No! No! No! No! No! No! Grace. We got a dose with your name on it. We'll be back in action in no time. Thank you, Leon. would have been a lot smoother if Chris hadn't been so late to the party. Where is Chris anyway? No idea. I'm sure I'll run into him at some point. They'll call you back. Setting up RE-10. It's over then. Yeah, well, this really was our last hope. Well, it's a prayer umbrella hasn't left us any more nasty surprises. I wish we could have saved her. Grace, I didn't hate any of her vitals. She could still be alive. What are you saying? Maybe we can save her. I missed on purpose. for decades. Sources say that the extension of the lockdown on the recent series of mysterious deaths may be related to tragic events in Raccoon City 28 years ago. Evidence seized in Raccoon City has led the Justice Department to reopen its investigation into Oswald Spencer and the Long Defund Umbrella Corporation. Some believe the government deliberately drove Umbrella into The late Alyssa Ashcroft is credited with cracking the Oswell Spencer story. Conspiracy theorists are already claiming that she was killed in a cover-up and that the organization responsible is secretly controlling our government. Tonight, in a speech from the Oval Office, the president is expected to reject allegations of any government involvement since the Raccoon City incident. She makes it? She makes it? She's alive? Wow! I mean, we let her live! Right? I can't forget. Wow. Steals away by sight. Screens I can't shut them out. YouTube DMCA all. That's unfortunate. That's unfortunate. Wow. Wow. That felt short. Well, I mean, in all honesty, it was almost an all killer, no filler situation, right? It was just, they just crammed it full of mostly really good stuff. For me, it was like 15 hours. Nothing really dragged too much, you know? At least for me personally. It's about as long as Village, but way better. Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I think so. It's crazy that they brought back a Wesker clone. It's crazy that they brought back a Wesker clone, dude. I thought the story was at least pretty interesting. it back to Spencer and RE2 shit and T virus stuff. I thought that was pretty interesting. I don't know if we're going to get DMCA on this. Yeah, it's just really fun. It's just like a really fun game. I do feel that there isn't a lot of like enemy engagement in general so it won't to do a review I'll be like a comprehensive review on everything top re no it doesn't beat our e4 come on it's not beat our e4 um you know you want to do you want a baseline opinion at the end of this I thought it was too easy I thought like some of the boss fights were a bit too easy like though what was the thing that you need to kill them what's the thing that you need to get them especially in the boss fights I don't even feel like boss fights that is die it's like hmm that's weird that's weird some of the enemies were fine I enjoyed fighting some of the enemies but the boss fights specifically were like so straightforward That's really straightforward. Yeah, like a hung-fire, yeah exactly. That's pretty much it. You don't lock in same mode. So what does insane mode do? Does it just make you have less health? They just hope, yeah, the bosses feel gimmicky is what, is not my issue is. Shoot all of the glowing red parts and stuff like that. Yeah. Yeah, like that's... It's weird. The setting mode is actual hard mode, get to strategize, so I think that sucks, right? I think it sucks that I chose the quote-unquote hardest difficulty at the start, and it wasn't, it felt pretty easy. It felt like I didn't have to think very much of what I'm doing, so I just had to like, oh, that's what I have to do, then do it. It feels like there should have been a hardcore difficulty, right? It feels like there should have been something in between. Making it a little bit harder, because like the toughest part is honestly the very beginning with Grace. don't have much. Dude, that ending, bro. I'm like, why? Legit. My brain is out here. Like, why do we have an ending where Grace lives? She makes it out, but everything sucks. Like, Why even have that ending? Why not? I mean, that's the thing. Like, why sp- Like, it's so throwaway. And the game even- Even like, yeah, we gotcha. The game even is like, we got ya. So you wanna go back and pick the other one now? I'm like, is this for speed runners? It's like, just got em! Like, it's what it's like. If you like that shitty ending, nah, it'll give you the real one. It's like, what the hell? That seems weird to me, dude. Got him! I'm like, come on! Dude! Come on! The game director's known as a troll. Yeah, it feels- it feels extremely troll-ish. Feels very troll-y, you know? Just playing here's the real one. It literally plays out like that. I'm like... What? Holy shit, what? You know, it isn't even like in any normal situation of a normal game that has an actual ending that isn't bullshit They'd be like you got to play it again, dude. You got to play through all that shit again And I'm like what Huh Anyway, you know about bad the ending even has sad somber music it feels like a troll ending I was hoping that there was gonna be actually like two different endings like legit if there was going to be a couple of endings because of the the gray stuff I wonder what the the gray stuff in the middle where you either shoot or you don't shoot at Emily I wonder if that actually changes an Ending? He still shoots. It forces- Oh, it's all scripted. Nothing actually changes. It doesn't because he didn't shoot. Gotcha. under the assumption that that was um I was under the assumption that that was the the moment that splits the ending right there yeah because dude the director of this game is the same director that has like the Zoe ending in Resident Evil. Like ditch your wife, which is the whole reason you're here for this new girl. That's kind of nice. What the hell? What kind of shit? What shit is this? What are you talking about? Of course, I'm not going to pick this random chick. Like she was much, what's she expecting me to Like that that part of the game was always mad funny and they're just sitting there like left and right and I'm like What the what is this shit? You almost pick one cuz I'm like what even happens if I pick this one like that's where I'm curious I'm like what even the hell happens if I pick this dude Leon's head gets blown off is what happens bro. It's this and oh, that's what I'm saying It's the same director It's the exact same sort of like let's give you a wild bullshit ending or let's give you the one that is like the normal one you know it's like okay I get it I just could not believe there's an ending well you know what I guess I'm not even that surprised because Leon gets eviscerated in a large variety of ways I can't believe there's an ending where Wesker just blows Leon's whole ass head off and it's so like unceremonious it's like not even serious it's just like oh well that happens cut to credits I'm Like if it was actually like a self-sacrificing, like a real self-sacrificing Leon moment type of shit, where it was actually like leaning into this where it was like, you know what would have happened? They're straight up and I'm gonna be real. This is the way how you fix this. That should have been a fight, 100%. Instead of you fighting in the normal ending, in the good ending, quote unquote, You fight Victor, what the hell was his name? Was it Victor? Who the hell's the main bad guy? Yeah, you fight Victor for the normal ending and in the other one you fight Wesker, you fight Zeno. And then there's an actual self-sacrificing moment of like Leon giving his life for like the next generation or some shit like that and you never find out what the hell Albus really is. You never give him the chance for it to be bad. That feels like, if there's a way to make that ending make sense, that would have been it. I mean, honestly, weak to fight. You know, who gives a shit, dude? That's the whole point, is that you literally are dying as you are fighting him. You're literally dying. And it's the final things he gets to do, which is to like, speak to be self-sacrificing. That's the whole point. But instead, it's like, you get a goofy ending. You get an ending where he gets his head blown off, cut your credits. It's like, hmm... Yeah, yeah, that's why that ending felt like bullshit to me. Uh, but clearly that's I have already seen people arguing that like the other endings better, that like the Leon ending is actually better. You know, I've seen people argue that already. I don't like what the fuck dude. All right, hold on. And Sherry's okay? I'm glad, I'm so glad. And me. Yeah, she's doing great. I'm actually teaching her how to read. Grace! Grace! to this is sweet What? Remaining PSAA forces have been neutralized. Retreating the objective before they send in the worlds. that feels like a DLC setup that wasn't honked. You're telling me they grab Wesker's head. Yeah, the connections. They have some really obtuse stuff. I'm guessing the wolves is Chris shit. Right. Chris and his group are called the wolves that make sense. They're, and they send in the same crew, the same like umbrella crew. You don't know what they grab. Hmm. Interesting. Zeno's head would be useless. He was cured. Yeah, I mean... Wesker's not supposed... I don't know if that means anything. Is Wesker supposed to be a Spencer clone in some way? Like... I don't know. Yes, no. I don't know if that's ever the thing. Why would they grab his head? He doesn't mean anything anymore. It's meant to be obtuse and weird, they don't show anything because they want you thinking forever. Memory transfer, they do talk about that a bit. But obviously there's going to be a big setup for like, you know, future DLC and things like that. All these games have DLC. report what whoa whoa this game is mad wait a minute Challenges? Main story challenges unlocked, right. Bonus settings. Behind the scenes. Dude, this game is shockingly very light on content. Compared to previous Resident Evil's? Like, this is very light on content. It's just a campaign. I was about to say so let's fire up mercenaries because there always is mercenaries And there's nothing else to do outside of playing through the campaign and like a harder difficulty that's a little disappointing That's a little disappointing That's a free up. That's a could be a free update later. It definitely could be Yeah village they added it later Um There's no they're free no no I'm not saying it's going to be and they're gonna they're gonna nickel and dime it Capcom usually offers free updates for a lot of their games all I'm saying is that On for what the product is right now. It's pretty dry like it is it is a 11 to 15 hour main campaign and that's about it. It's pretty dry Dude, RE4's campaign is fucking long. Like, playing through RE4 is like twice as long as this game. Um, and RE4 does not feel bloated. It just feels like there's a shit done to it, you know? It's just longer. Like, yeah, I mean, if we're gonna start getting into, let's just get into the review, right? I'm gonna get into my review because right now at the end of this thing, I immediately we just beat it, right? So I can immediately start thinking of the things that I I am was expecting to be better that I might want to improve on. Um, but also where it was really good. Uh, I think in totality, I think my critical rating for the game, my is It's about a nine out of 10. And I think my personal rating for the game is the exact same. It's about a nine out of 10. Because it's just very fun, right? It's just a really enjoyable-ass game to play. Ari died out of 10. It's just a really fun, great time. And they mostly take, what I appreciate about it is that it's a, they're almost there with an all-killer, no-filler campaign. where they're just trying to, like, let's just make everything super fun, make everything really enjoyable, you know? And I appreciate that. I really do. We haven't gone through the difficult part of the story yet, which is, but that's a criticism that I have. People are saying that the insane mode, right? Insanity mode is a different game and that it's really hard, which is great. But I was definitely feeling a lack of hardcore difficulty. RE2 remake I believe at hardcore. I think Village had hardcore as well as RE4 remake. All of them had a hard core difficulty and because of it like You do not get It can feel a little breezy at times They could feel like they just give you so much shit to work with even on the harder difficulty that I was technically playing on which is changes save data from what I understand I did feel like that there's one criticism I have the the base playthrough of it especially with the way some things play out is a little is a little breezy it's kind of like a it's this game is more of a roller coaster than I would say the majority of the the latest Resident Evil games have been, more of like a rollercoaster, and there's not really an opportunity for you to like go around and look at things and really meander and do stuff. That was at the beginning of the game. So yeah, I did feel like I wanted a hardcore difficulty right at the start. I did feel like that would have been more fun, just in general. The nice part is that character-wise, it's great. Such a nice departure from RE7 and 8, bro, where the characters are, someone like the enemy characters were good in RE7 and 8, but like having the protagonist actually be interesting, having the two protagonists actually be actually interesting in some way was cool. And I can see some people seeing as like the ending as like a rug pull or something like that. I didn't necessarily feel that way. I thought it was like, Yeah, this sort of lines up with the very grounded, modern-day Resident Evil that they've been building. I will say... I loved the dual gameplay dynamic aspect of the game, and I feel like that's where you mostly get your bang for your buck with Resident Evil 9. Most of the folks that are either committed to these games want Resident Evil to either be scary or for them to be fun. And those usually aren't two things that are intertwined directly. So people find scary things to be fun, but like scary things are like tens and scary and fun things are like Leon shit, you know? And I think they did a very good job of balancing action and horror throughout the majority of this game. And I actually felt it was even better at the end of the main campaign when you were really bouncing between stuff with, stuff with Grace, stuff with Leon, like back and forth like quite a bit. That actually felt really good. But it was pretty clear that how the game was going to be paced out. Beginning of the game is this big ass Grace section. And then the second half of the game is this big ass Leon section. And effectively Leon gets his RPD, right? Or Grace gets her RPD, and Leon gets his RPD. And what I mean by that is they're the big first puzzle-y area, right? Like a giant puzzle-y area. And... Graces is the hospital. Leon's is literally Raccoon City. Like, you don't have to solve all of this shit with both of them. Everything after that is like smaller sort of cinematic puzzler slash action sequences that bring you forward to like the final... I'd say, uh, the final lab. But even the final lab, which usually acts as like the big RPD, right? Like the big last mansion puzzle-y area. It was pretty straightforward in this one. I really liked it. I really enjoyed it. It's just so- it's a- it's a really good time. I don't know how replayable it's gonna feel. Because it does both of them very effectively. I don't know how replayable it's going to feel as much as I really enjoyed the time that I had with it. Um, we'll see. I have to replay it again to find out how this effectively is going to work out. Like how that's going to feel on another playthrough. There's no real crit path. Yeah, exactly. Like, there's a few points where you can do a crit path kind of thing. But, I mean I guess that applies to OG like RE5 as well as like RE4 as well. Like you pretty much can blast through, you know? Yeah, I don't feel like the first person to third person stuff did anything for me. Didn't do anything for me, dude. It doesn't change the game enough or make it more engaging. It doesn't do any of that shit for me, personally speaking. Like, I- I- This game could- I could have taken or left it with- without the first person, third person, mixing. I am completely ready to just move- It's a gimmick. I'm completely ready to move the hell away from th- from first person Resident Evil man. Like, these games just play better. They just feel better to play. I think the option is cool, but like, is it this thing that- that really feels like, oh man, like... This is such a crazy dynamic thing, switching between the two. It really felt like that was an insane gimmick. But as far as me playing through, dude, every time I tried out first person shit, I'm like, I would go a little bit and I'm like, get me the hell out of here, dude. Like, like, the first person in Resident Evil always felt like it was designed with VR in mind. And when you don't have the VR, when you don't have the first time VR experience, I'm like, get this shit out of here, dude. I'm good. Like, these games don't feel good enough in first person for me to be like, this is the justifiable way. This is so worth it. No, I just think it, the games are just better in third person. I think it's better seeing the characters. I think it's better seeing the reactions. I think it's better seeing all this stuff That's just for me, you know, I enjoyed re7 and re8 for what they were But at the same point it's like It's nice, but is it like a transformative big deal Not really, you know if anything I wish they just committed to one or the other I really do I actually I would prefer I I would have preferred that straight-up, racist section, first person, whole first play-through, Leon's shit, third person, whole first play-through, and then you beat the game and then it's unlocked and then you can switch. I think that would have been cool, where if they just like commit to it, and that would have felt like a bigger deal and it could have like forced the experience on me, yeah. I mean you could do it, you could do that if you want, you have the option. I'm saying maybe you should maybe the option would have been available as a reward Granted re7 and re8 sold an absolute shit ton as first-person games, so it's not like they are It's not like you're stifling the audience or anything like that So that isn't really a game a game breaker deal breaker for me the first person third person aspect of it Let me take a side of um, so both on a second on YouTube as well I did really like the story surprises and shit. I really loved how they handled nostalgia. I really loved how they handled a few of those elements in the game. You enjoyed the playthrough. Thank you. I kind of wanted to take as long as possible. I wanted to just, I wanted it to really take my time with it because I was like, I feel like I'm having a great time with this. So I don't, I don't want it to be over really fast. So I spent a lot of time like doing everything. I spent way too much time killing a ton of shit as Grace, like murdering a ton of stuff. It felt very Metal Gear 4-ish. Yeah. It felt very Metal Gear Solid 4 in many ways. For those that have actually played that game a little bit. It's the shadow Moses of Resident Evil. Yeah, it's the yeah, that is the requiem aspect of it. Yeah. Did you think about the puzzles in RE 9? Uh, I really dug the puzzles at the beginning of the game. I thought they were good. But they were fun. They fixed the complaints about RE 7 and the ship section. Yeah, there was no ship section in this. You know, RE 7 is great. RE-8's also really good But it's kind of forgettable Because the characters aren't there really isn't a part that is like overtly boring If one thing did bug me a little bit I was kind of getting sick of looking at the lapidated Raccoon City for quite some time That's kind of getting sick of looking at that But for the most part it was like still very fun, you know, still really enjoyable to do shit. There's a challenge that people are still trying to figure out, like a secret or something. Does it evolve the hand? It's a great game. I think it's legit really good time. I think that we need to... I think we also need to be able to validate games that are like 10 to 20 hours but still offer like a banger experience. Like I think that there's legit value in this industry still for that kind of shit. RE4 is also great because it's just big and expansive and also does treasure hunting and all this kind of bullshit. This game didn't really feel like it mechanically wanted to lean into any wildness. But still, the juxtaposition of getting slow-ass me-endering grey sections with like, crazy Leon action set pieces is wonderful. Like that feels really good, you know? You don't feel like wanting to replay it immediately? No! Because there's no immediate crit-path-ing, right? Maybe on the grey section a little bit, but I don't feel the immediate need to want to fire it up again right now. Is that weird? I actually do not feel that way because in Resident evils, you know, you have the need to fire it up immediately. The reason this exists in RE games, just in general, is that you know where to go and what to do. Right. And there's a little bit of that in this, like there's a little bit, but understanding like where the crit path is and just blasting that ass is like, Oh, shit. This is well. Yeah, let's just I don't need to fight this guy. I don't need to do that. I don't need to pick up that I'm gonna grab this I'm gonna grab that like Rocking a resident evil game, especially I know G1 that way feels great. It feels really good But still I mean, it's fun It's you know what this is. You know what I actually feel this game is I Get it now. I I realize what this is This game is the resident evil 6 apology tour Straight up. I feel like everything they were trying to do in RE6 as a game before it got out of their hands This is this is what RE6 was supposed to be and when we eventually got RE6. It was like oh god. This is Fucking trash. Oh god. It plays. Okay, but everything else is really bad I honestly feel like that's kind of the point of this experience is that this is the game They wanted RE6 to be until it got really messy Um, because it feels that way, like it really, really kind of feels like this is already six and because Leon's here as well. Um, it feels like that's like the goal of giving these dynamic different gameplay elements and sequences throughout the entire game, you know, um, and not to mention having Sherry and Leon back. Yeah. Yeah. I am definitely criticisms. I mean, I think it's great. I had a really goddamn good time with it It's a legit super enjoyable game, but it's hard to get resident evil games that are not enjoyable They're all pretty good even resident evil 3 is crap by many of standards and I did not like it But it's still like a 7 out of 10. So it's like it's so good Criticisms I think aiming is a problem I I Get it you have the options to change your aim Dude, I did not get a good aiming settings until 80% through the game like my bitch ass spent I can't even count how many times my bitch ass went into the menu and is like aiming feels like shit And I'm gonna go in and change it and I'm like For 30 minutes later aiming feels like shit and I'm gonna go in and fix this thing again aiming feels like shit I would run into some funny situation where aiming just feels fucking bad And then by the absolute end of the game I I got to a comfortable spot where it's like alright I'm not having any issue shooting right now. All right. Somebody gave me some settings that felt good so The weird part is that Resident Evil 4 had this problem as well and not our og re4 re4 remake had this problem, right and straight up I Don't recall ever having issues particularly with the way aiming feels In re4 and re5 or re6. I mean re6 has other issues and even re2 remake doesn't necessarily feel like aiming is that weird I Don't at least on controller I could not believe how much I was going into that menu where I was like Why does aiming feel weird like why is it making me sick to my stomach at times Why is it doing this? Why is it doing that? And the amount of times that I had to like, dude, the amount of videos that I'm seeing people put up about this shit because the same thing happened in RE4 Remake until you dial it in, I think that's bizarre, bro. Like, I think that's really bizarre how they give you what feels like you need a calculus degree to look at all these settings and I'm like, bro, I just want my sensitivity. And then there's really crazy things that they miss with this shit. I don't get it man. I don't understand how ADS aiming is one setting. I don't get it. I think this legit is going to make my score potentially lower, where the ADS settings for a sniper scope and a regular aim down sight is the same. And I'm like, what the fuck? I feel like every single time I want to aim down a sniper scope, much less also do this with like a regular gun it is the same speed so if one is if the sniper is naturally slower which you kind of do then your regular pistols like yeah I'm like this feels bad oh my god this feels bad I hope they change that man right the ADS is in first person settings no we change that we're talking about aim we're talking about specifically aimed down sight in a scope which historically does not sniper settings right because you have a sniper in this game zoom sense yes exactly so that was weird to me that i had to go constantly into the menu and change shit this did not feel good i was taking me out of the game way too much um just looking around and shit at times just taking me out of the game because it felt bad i was like uh looking around feels like shit what's going on dude and the other big criticism i got like Actual criticism is that the game is pretty dry on content in its current state. It's pretty dry There's a few extra bonus things I can do which involve me playing through the campaign again, you know but No mercenaries at the start is a bit rough. I get it. It's the previous games have been like that It's a bit light on just content in general And usually a lot of these games give you a bit more that you can do, you know Resident Evil 2 literally gives you two completely different campaigns that have two of the completely different sizes RE4 is also like just really big really long Yeah Yeah, I still haven't checked out the insanity a dick. It's a good game. I think the game is a nine out of ten. It's very good But still it's like I was really hoping I was gonna be able to actually fight more shit That's what I wanted, man. Dude, you have to fight so many bitches. I- I straight up feel like in the Leon segments of this game, I could have used twice the amount of enemies, my dude. Like, straight up. I needed twice the amount- two times the amount of enemies then- then were present in my first playthrough. Two times. I would have been fine. Gimme twice the amount of enemies to fight with Leon. Cool with it. Litter that bitch-ass hospital with dudes. Even though I killed them with grace and shit. It's like I Just wanted to engage I feel like I didn't even get to see all the animations of cool shit, man Like there was never there's never like crazy opportunities for like really cool interactive things to happen with enemies There was like a chainsaw guy twice that was it and I was like, yeah, I just wanted more Feel like I was really ready to give more, you know So yeah, maybe that'll change for subsequent playthroughs like moving down the line But it's a legit really good time and the characters are fun It's visually like one of the best-looking games Capcom's ever made They had some great gameplay mechanics and honestly some of the gray sections is the most resident evil that resident evil has been ever The gray sections with the zombies and the personalities and shit. I'm like this shit is great. Oh my god, dude I enjoyed I think the best I'll be real personal this is personally speaking I think the best part of the game is the grace hospital section specifically I think the just the grace hospital section at the very beginning of the game is the best part of the game straight up it's it's amazing every single every single corner every single turn every single monster every single interaction everything dude it feels great the The leon part that happens after that is like bam, this is great, like it's a nice little like, you know, dessert to what you just went through, I mean I get it, it's awesome. But the hospital is just like quintessential godlike resident evil, like OGRE shit, it's great dude. And then you get reasons for you to upgrade, you get reasons to go and kill guys, like am I gonna do this? the most like gameplay centric than in the entire game. And I feel like I wanted to get those moments with Leon, but Leon just blasts these motherfuckers, dude. Like most of the Leon sequences are just too easy. He just roasts these goddamn enemies. He just, that's what I'm saying. I wanted like two times the amount of enemies in some of these situations. My criticism is that the Leon shit is so much fun. It's so cool. It's so good that I wanted more of it. And the game was not letting me have more of it. And it was like, and that's why at the end of the game I was like, give me that goddamn, give me the mercenaries mode. I'm ready. Like, let me just go through the doctor's offices and shit, let me just go through the hospital with Leon and kill everything. Let's go. God damn it. I just wanna fight shit. Exactly, I just wanna fight shit. So anyway, yeah, the Mr. X fight was too easy that it sort of boils down to many of those situations It is like the the the the clue for a lot of these fights were just really straightforward You know, this is really straightforward The stretch just stands there dude, he literally just chills out why blasting him and I'm like All the bosses felt a little too easy even the last one especially what the hell dude It was like what is the weak point what what is the gimmick you literally just shoot all the blobs and I'm like Ah, that's it man That's it and you just do it three times and it's like Okay Okay Either way, I don't think it's absolutely perfect But I think the sum of its parts and what that what it does really well is genuinely good. And I feel like for the majority of people that we're like waiting on this kind of an experience of getting like the OGRE stuff with like a nice mixer of action. Yeah, this is a new formula for Capcom because we're not even going to count RE6. People aren't even thinking like RE6 is what it is. I just think this game is a better Resident Reznable 6, personally. It feels like this is what they wanted to do with RE6 and it just wasn't good. So, now they did it in a way that actually feels kinda nice. It feels like it actually gives the shit about Reznable's characters and it cares about their lore and their history a lot more. Game has a high usage for a Metacritic. I mean, I can see why. It's great. It's a great time. five? Yeah, I would have to evaluate what I feel overall and where the placements would be. Um, I would have to evaluate that. Hmm, I think top five, because it's like RE4, RE2, RE2 Remake, seven, Or I think it's better than RE7? Uh, no. I don't think so. Because RE7 was so new. Nothing about this is really crazy new. It mostly is like, this is the greatest hits. It's the greatest hits Resident Evil. And that's what RE6 was trying to do? That's what I mean. It feels like RE6. RE7 was so... I mean, I played that in VR, so it's almost unfair. It's almost unfair. I think it's right after, like... You know, I think it's like right after... Maybe? RE5 is top five. RE5 is really good with co-op, specifically. Um... This one feels like it's a love letter to fans. Yeah, it really does. Really feels like it's a love letter to fans. 4 or 4 remake? 4 remakes so close to 4, dude. It's a more functional game, but it's like such a similar game. We just played it again, dude. It's like... Yeah, there's a reason. You can... They're gonna remake RE4 again in the future because this formula's too good. What makes RE4 like a captivating, enjoyable game? They can just do this again and people will buy it. so vague not really I mean Alissa wasn't that important necessarily the the in terms of like pushing the narrative forward it does some weird shit it does some pretty crazy stuff. It feels like it's trying to get back to what it feels like it's trying to get back to what the heart of what Resident Evil is, the raccoon city incident and shit like that. Because ever since that, like to RE3 where it's just like, okay, we're meandering a bit now, you know, is Sherry that important role wise? Sherry's just She's hunting again, but she also has space cancer, you know. RE10 set up? I mean, sure. I, uh, sure. RE10 set up. Sure. This is a cure of the bombshell for the lore though, right, but it's also like 30 years later. It would have been nice if there was a cure, when? That doesn't really mean much. It just, it just means that Leon's cured, you know? That'll be plenty of time till R810. But don't worry, chat. Yeah, I thought it was sick. I thought it was really good. Let me read that Grace report. Hold on a second. Let me just actually do this right now. Is it under bonuses? Grace's report. 60 fucking pages? Wow. Damn. Holy shit, I might have to go get some coffee. My God. Either way, that's the end of my review. I think it's really good. It's an all-killer, no-filler sort of experience. It might not be as insanely long or filled with a brim of content all over the place and things you can do, which will probably get changed later on. They probably will look at that later on. But still, it's like, I think it hits a pretty decent stride at being a classic Resident Evil in a modern day like actiony Resident Evil. I think it did a very good job at balancing the two. The thing that I like the most about this game is that people are scared playing this man, which is great. I think that's really cool and people are freaked out by some of the uh grace sections and shit like that yeah i thought that was very good yeah hold on a second here's the biggest reveal chat That's the biggest reveal in the entire thing. Leon's married. He literally, after he loses his geostigma, he puts his wedding ring back on when he's not geostigmatic. So who's he married to? Well, it ain't Ada, but I can tell you without an unfathomable shadow of a doubt that Leon One may be married to some chick, someone, but he's saving his virginity for Ada. He's been married for a decade and he's still a virgin. What a chad. He's saving himself for Ada. 100%. How do you know please tell it's at unequivocally undoubted factual information? That bike sequence was so cool. Check tofu and hunk. I have like 12,000. They in here? What is this final puzzle? Let me check the costumes. Hold on a second. Let me see what else is in here. Special content. Freya's needle. He uses handgun ammo. Makeshift knife. Never breaking blade, but till the ghost grudge, what the hell is this? Is that the shotgun? Single shot pistol. Last puzzle involves getting the singers together in the same room. Weird. Advanced tuning. Unlocks an extra level of tuning for weapon parts. Ooh, that's cool. Just for every Mr. Rankin. I felt like I got all those. I swear to God. I was always listening Increases firepower so she's the Leon charm infinite ammo infinite durability on the high shoots Ah Was this even findable? Reckon City. Damn. That's cool. You can actually keep the goddamn jacket on. Cool costumes are in bonus settings, aha, that already changed. light you mean I don't have to use the the fucking thing anymore grab the deluxe edition Uh, no. Uh... Oh, is this a general behind-the-scenes video? Great. Great. Cool. Challenges. Incomplete. Get the main story on Insanity, 40,000. Stun the girl with Requiem. Craft every possible item with Leon. Just to miss something in there. Make a zombie attack another zombie in the hospital ward? Funny. Every single save in the main story? Did I really miss one of those? Oh, that's right. There was another one But I didn't even find the note for shit. I didn't even find the note for it, dude Last one in arc yeah, we found the first note The main story by releasing elpis and within four hours Yeah, just a whole area towards the end a whole area whole area 5,000 microsamples. Oh. The final puzzle. It literally is called the final puzzle. People have not figured this out yet? It's being compared to the RE7 dummy finger puzzle? Wow. Wow, cool. That's cool. It's still unsolved. That's awesome. It's been like almost a week and people still haven't figured that out. That's actually great. cool. I solved it. Yeah, I solved it in like a few hours. I just didn't want to show people I did it on my other playthrough on the PC version I solved it. It's pretty, it's tough. For most people it'll be very tough. For me. of the same as a lot to have a good some coffee for this shit, but after all I'm not the like I'm not the put on some music or some shit bro like It's gonna be story time Is it good? Is it legit? Is it I'm like is grace a bad writer? Is it good? It is good. Oh shit. It's actually worth it. Oh shit. It is good You know what I wanted I had a personal desire chat I Had a personal desire That I wish the game did I really wish there was a I really wish there was a moment where the roles were flipped I really wanted that I wanted the final what's it called what do they call the the part of something which is just like just enjoy this is great enjoy not the her with the last hurrah there's a specific there's a specific climb not climax it's a victory lap yes they call it victory laps in games which is just like you did all this crazy hard shit enjoy like have fun I desperately wanted a moment where somehow Grace was going to be like equipped and combat ready for some reason like a last a last act situation where Leon is completely fucked in some way, and Grace grabs all the fucking guns and is like, I'm gonna go save him. Well, I type of shit, and it's like literally like the end of aliens type of thing, and I'm like, fucking it, this would have been cool as shit. This would have been so fucking cool. Put him down, bro! She just fucking nukes this shit. I kind of wanted a Grace action section just for the fuck of it, dude. And there's like, no, she's not like that. like neither was Ripley and Aliens. It's all about how you totally handle it. Like it makes sense. I think it would have been even cool if they did it for you know, in some way having to go back and get and get the little girl or some shit. I felt like I was waiting for something big like that to happen. Instead, all of the finalities are just Leon doing Leon shit. It's just all these constant like moments of Leon doing Leon shit. And it was clear that like the character Grace, I was expecting to evolve a bit more and she kind of doesn't, right? I'll be completely honest. Grace has this moment of like in the first half, she feels like she's getting used to shit. And she's getting better at this. And then by the time she gets abducted, she almost gets taken back into crazy-ass like, oh my god, like trauma is taking me over type of thing. And then it feels like the evolution that she was having is sort of goes away when Wesker shows up and is like, hey, you're all screwed up, you know. So I was hoping like gameplay wise, there was going to be like an evolution as well and not really she just she's able to craft acid that's the big difference but I'm not talking from a story perspective chat I'm talking from gameplay from a gameplay perspective it's like losing Emily messes her up so much where she almost like stops evolving from a gameplay perspective where it's like dude I have all these other guns and I'm learning all this shit and doing all this stuff and she sort of like takes a stop where it's like oh I kind wanted that to keep going you know because Leon keeps moving right he keeps getting like shit that he can do you know what I feel like they could have extended that crap because it was such a nothing burger when Leon is traumatized in the end when he's physically traumatized and you can't like do shit but you sort of can so it's just there to like mess with you a little bit and I mean it would have been interesting if like by the end of the game Leon really can't do most of the things you can and Grace has to learn more. I felt like there was a dynamic there that wasn't really explored very much where like the end of the game just sort of happens. Doesn't really feel like a giant massive climactic finality. It doesn't necessarily feel like that. It doesn't feel like the end of RE2 remake, you know? Doesn't really feel like it Has that that's I think that's I think that's the problem with like the ending of the game it did the climax is fine It just doesn't have like a crazy punch to it Doesn't really have like a whoa like we're doing this like holy crap. Look what's happening here. Whoa This is insane. It doesn't really have like a punch If anything the Leon driving a fucking bike around nuked raccoon city Was like whoa look at this crazy shit, dude There were moments where the game did do that, you know, or it was like, whoa, it was mostly like here's an ending, here you go. And it was like, hmm, okay. Nothing to the crazy ending of like Resident Evil 5 or like RE2 remake or even RE4 to a certain degree where the escalation just keeps getting and getting and getting and getting. So food jumpscare was the result where all the budget went. I think Wes I think, I think I realized how much I missed Wesker and they brought him back in a weird ass way. Zeno was a Wesker clone. Yeah. It was a Wesker clone. Everything about him is just for RE5 fans. And it's funny that like they never say the name either. They never even, it's never even acknowledged technically. He does acknowledge that he is a duplicate, right? It's just an implication. They call him an imitation, yeah. Leon doesn't even know who the fuck he is. Yeah. They- he's literally there for the- for the- the players. I'm doing all this wild Wesker shit. people think hunk is a clone sure yeah hunks like a clone from Star Wars or some shit you know yeah I think what it mostly is is like then put they put Wesker in this for the fact that we're eventually gonna get more Wesker very soon. If Code Veronica gets remade or RE5. Yeah, yeah. Spencer's redemption was definitely curious. I I'd have to go back and watch because Spencer has a redeeming moment. His final act is not even his final act because Spencer doesn't die there. He does not die after that. He gets stabbed by Wesker in the chest at the end of five. But here's the thing. That is the old RE5. That's the old RE5. Maybe We don't have the clarity of that yet because are the new RE5 that might be different? Mmm, there you go. Because that old RE5 event is not potentially the same event. Is RE5 remake next? I mean, seemingly it's there somewhere. They're gonna do it again. Xeno mentioned that Spencer's already been dealt with. Yeah, so it does imply that? Okay, okay. Yeah. It's a redemption as much as it is one last big fuck you to Wesker slash connections, etc. Who was using and killed him. Maybe that makes more sense. Yeah. Yeah, all the powers that be. That we're turning his research into, um, literal profit margins. Yeah, because Wesker is all about power and money and shit, you know. Yeah, maybe the context of that still does make sense. Maybe that still does make sense. R.A. 5 is 20 years old in 2029? Yeah. I think it was definitely a wasted opportunity not fighting Xeno. Yeah. I was kind of blown away that we didn't do that. They must be saving it or some shit. I- I'm still blown away that like the bad ending does not have Leon fighting him. I felt like that was an easy setup, but it feels like they're now saving that shit for future games, you know? Save it for Chris again. Yeah, because Wesker ain't got any beef with Leon, bro. Wesker doesn't have any beef with Leon. Was Wesker and Chris hate each other? They go all the way back to Ari Code Veronica. They go back to Ari one. Like it's crass. It's not Leon. That sounds weird. 7 seconds till the end, Leon. That's bullshit, dude. Crass! Crass! Like, it's all Criss. Criss will have to fight him. Yeah. They go make some coffee chat, then we'll go over this grace report. We'll do it. There we go, hold on a second, I think I'm going to make a warm cup of coffee, we'll I'll check this out. I'll be our beach at. god damn we really need that mercenaries mode though holy shit just listening to that we really need that mercenaries mode my dude holy hell that's the birds illegit burns dude I want the ability to add twice the amount of enemies in the leon section just so I I can get the vibes of like whacking the shits out of monsters. I just want that, you know, I do just thinking about it now. I do think it's kind of a bummer that Grace is effectively a character McGuffin the whole way through. And how do I have a conclusion of why that is? How her story eventually boils down to her like doing the same thing that her mother did for her, which is cool. I think that is nice. She's already showing that she was capable of doing that. But she is just there to deliver the password at the end of the story, right? That's like the whole point, is just to get her to this spot to enter the code, you know? And it's like, hmm. So she feels like, and once that's done, she doesn't give it anything else to do really anymore. Like, that's it. that's what I mean where it was like I wanted Grace to evolve like gameplay wise in some way a little bit where like her importance is like really important or some shit by the end like her being there outside of her just being I'm just going to deliver the key I'm just a password you know and it's like I would have really liked it if something changed at that point instead of her staying that way because and it bugged me her desk is all still messed up, right? The very first thing you get, you get the information of this character is that she's disorganized and she really can't keep things in control because like trauma is messing her up, right? So her desk is all disorganized at the beginning of the game. And then at the very end of the game, her desk is all unorganized and she's clumsy, but now she has a picture of her and her not daughter, you know? And I'm like, Like, you could have at least had her, like, maybe her desk could have been clean. That's what I mean. She talks a bit better. She does, she talks better at opportunities that are given where she's not stressed out, right? But it's like, dude, let her be a character that grows or some shit. Like, I feel like you could have shown that or allowed that or had that demonstrated through gameplay or something, you know, something. gains confidence? Does she? At what point does she show like confidence? At what point does she show like actual confidence? She's already out. She's already a mother figure throughout the game. Right? She has no stutter. She has no stutter in moments throughout the game where she's comfortable. Right? When she's not stressed out, that happens. Yeah, she goes to Leon, right? She does go to Leon, but I don't know. I feel like she's willing to kill herself. That's the confidence. Interesting conclusion. Granted, her going to Leon is eventually just to get her there to punch the passcode in, you know? Yeah, all I'm saying is that I think they were really afraid of evolving her gameplay-wise. And they did not, because she was going to have spooky sections all the way until the end of the game. So they were they were kind of nervous about her. All I'm saying is that I kind of wish the shit that flipped on its head in some way. I almost wish that by the time the game ended, Leon was in a weaker state having to do shit that he was doing back in the OG game to the point where Grace was becoming more confident and Leon was getting sicker and shit. And then Grace was getting more confident able to like Learn stuff gameplay wiser do things as the story progressed. I wanted to feel like Leon starts off mega powerful But ends very weak until like the cure happens and then they work together or some shit and that by the very end Grace becomes more confident and learns all this shit Give her a suplex or some shit. Yeah Let her drop cake a bitch This game is an intro for her. That chick ain't never coming back, dude. 100%. Grace is never coming back. My dude. She might be talked about in the future. By the time this story ends, you know undoubtedly she's never coming back, dude. She's going to be remembered as much as Helena. By the time that story is wrapped. She has literally served her purpose and gone back to a desk job. She's a mother. Like, she is very much the rooted, not resonant evil character. It's very obvious. More than Elena. Yeah, I think I just wanted, I think that was the difference, you know, in having an extra green character stay super green the entire time throughout the entire game. But that was starting to feel that by the end, because even if you have the most green characters that start the game green in any Resident Evil with no equipment or anything, you end the game confident and capable, you know, fighting some, doing something that is like way above what they were able to do at the beginning of the game. Like Ethan, Ethan actually did that pretty well. Funny enough. Funny enough. I think the finality of the game, as I thought about it more when I was making coffee falls very flat. The game just kind of ends. There is no big escape sequence. There's no sense of urgency in the end. There's no like, they just sit there and just, it just ends and they get saved. And it's like, you fight the guy and there's no big like, we got to get out of here, we got to do something. There's another bomb. They're gonna nuke this bitch again. Like something like that, you know, I was like, yeah Wesker just if effectively being tossed away as well, and it was like, yeah Yeah It felt like the entire game has this escalation happening and for some reason in the in the last moments It just goes kind of flat. It doesn't really have like a big Sort of like ending Yeah, this talk is making me feel like it's a bit closer to an 8 out of 10. Yeah, a little bit. A little bit. I'm feeling like maybe like an 8 and a half just to be generous on what I feel right now. Just to be generous a little bit. And it's because of how it ends. It's just because of how it ends. That's the problem, dude. you can have a rough ass beginning of a game. Bioshock Infinite exists, my dude. You can have a rough ass part of many, a huge portion of the game, but if that ending is a fucking banger, people go like, God damn cinema. Holy shit. It's so good. It's godlike, right? And just because the ending is weird, or the ending does not hit the same notes that the rest of the game like hits, or if suddenly the ending is mad good, it can really make the rest of the experience like feel almost better you really stuck the landing in the very end story wise you know or even gameplay from that perspective so the ending to infinite is like the best ending ever yeah like the bio shock infinite ending made me forget all the stuff I had complaints about because the ending is fucking amazing it's It's like, whoa, dude, this is so cool. Yeah, DLC is a thing, right? DLC is a thing, but it's still like, our experience is what our experience is right now. And the ending's a little flat. I'll just say. I think the ending is, I think the ending's a little flat, dude, in this one. I don't think it's the worst ending possible. What I would argue is the ending of RE8 better? I think so. Was the ending sequences an 8 better? I think so. Was the ending in 7 better? I think so. This was better. The 6's ending sucks, because it just goes off the rails. 5 has an incredible ending. Um... Yeah, 8 also had a really interesting twist at the end, with the fact that the girl was still alive. Sendings, endings, jakes. Yeah. You know what, dude? Sevens ending makes up so much for me when after you go through all the crazy shit you go through in the underground and the, uh, the, the tanker, right? My dude. And then you make your way back after fighting all those molded and you realize you're in her room and you're back in the house. And I'm like, what the fuck? This is how she got there. Holy shit. Like the entire world being connected technically, right? Like all of this shit being connected was the part that really got me at the end of RE7. I was like, whoa, we're here. Wait a minute. It was her. Oh my God. Like this shit all coming full circle in that moment. And then the wall starts screaming at you, you know? And you're like, what? You sort of start blasting the wall. I was like, what the fuck is going on? That shit was really cool. Like that felt like that led up to something that was like kind of a big deal. Here's what's wild. Most Resident Evil games give you a last big room. Just in general, from a gameplay perspective, here's like the final big room. Here's the final big area where here's a shit ton of fucking monsters and stuff. Utilize everything you have learned, go. And you know what they do for Leon in this? A bunch of slow ass gray dickheads, like seven or eight of them fall out of the ceiling. And then his last moments are just shooting these guys that are slow as shit. And then you just get into the elevator. It isn't even like this fight is going to exhaust the shit out of him. I just, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, OK. And then I run in there. It didn't really feel like Leon is on his last legs, dude. Like he was saying stuff like that. but it didn't feel that way from a gameplay perspective. The liquors were easy. The liquors weren't hard. It wasn't like the liquors were like completely unique new zombies or some shit like that. They were kind of like straightforward. And everything I was doing was like, okay. So it never felt like what Leon's escalation was, like the big escalation of events was not a thing that was like, damn, this is pushing this motherfucker to his limits, dude. It really is. And it's like, I didn't feel that from a gameplay perspective this is like a couple like normal zombies and shit Yeah Yeah, they just kind of stand there and they're like bullet sponges. Yeah At least at the end of like re2 You know you have to go through all the shit that you have to go through and then The chase down of mr. X as he chases you the fuck down and then he eventually like Morrison transforms into super mr X, then you kill Super Mr. X, then you get the fuck out of there, and then, oh God, Super Mr. X has turned into this massive fucking train-eating bitch, and now we got to shoot like the escalation that really feels like, goddamn, we're being pushed to our limits here, dude. Will you just fucking die? Didn't feel that. Or Birken, sorry. You know what I mean? Birken at the end. The way he eats the train. Will you just fucking die? Like that kind of shit? Mmm. I don't know. I didn't that's why that's my ex that's my explanation why the why the ending in this the final sequences feel a little flat I don't feel like we're really like feels like so much of the game is like escalating and building and building and escalating and whoa this is so cool crazy motorcycles off of insane set pieces and shit shooting this guy shooting that like wow crazy and then it's sort of yeah yeah i'm starting to make sense of why i feel the way i do even the elite soldier thing was the hardest fight in the game it legit was the elite soldiers were like the toughest fight i think i'd give it an eight yeah Maybe it's intentional. I don't think that would be intentional to save it for like a DLC or some shit Hunk was a cool fight. No hunk was great Yeah, the chainsaw guy would kill me kill me twice. Yeah, I died twice to him Can't believe we killed hunk though. We don't he gets away go back to the body. It's gone It must have been a good run to be yapping like this. Oh, it's a Resident Evil game, man. It is, the game is legit really good. It's legit super good. It's just, unfortunately, it ends kind of flat. When most of the game is all killer, no filler, and then the ending is a little, a little flat, it doesn't leave like the best feeling, you know? Yeah, we said the same thing. You should have fought fake Wesker in the other ending. Yeah, we said the same thing. It's better than Village, but that Village had a better finality. I agree. Yeah, I agree. What about the spider? Was it fun? It was easy. Like I didn't even have to do anything. You just shoot it. Like usually some of the monsters, you have to like find ways to evade them or do some weird shit. The spider you just shot it a little bit and then it was suddenly over and I was like, dude, I didn't even, for example, in some of these fights, I didn't even get a chance to survey the area. The monster had died by the time that happened. I didn't even get a chance to like go around and see that there was like tanks and all this other shit that you could do to manipulate and change the spider. The fight's still neat, but the majority of boss fights are like that where it's like, oh, I actually didn't utilize like all this other shit because I never, the game didn't give me a reason to like run around and stuff. All right, before we make our professional stuff, even on hardcore it's challenging. I think Capcom played it too safe with this game. No, I don't think it's too safe. I think it's actually pretty risky to have two completely different gameplay styles in one game. That's pretty risky. And to be real, some of, dude, just to glaze it a bit. The gray sections, especially at the beginning of the game, is like the best classic Resident Evil. We have played in a Resident Evil game since seven and I think it's better than seven straight up. It's like some of the best since old school Resident Evil. It's amazing. Like solving the hospital with Grace is the best part of the game. I just played through RE4 Remake, right? Granted it was a randomizer. But Leon controls outside of goofy aiming stuff and having to figure that out. I got it okay. So it's like it's not that much of a criticism. Leon controls so much better. His gameplay and everything he does is so much better than even RE4 remake. Like everything about him is like kind of like the quintessential, oh this is the best combat feels like it's kind of been in Resident Evil. Outside of really experimental goofy shit in RE7. He just feels more agile and capable and like he responds faster to the controls in my hands and he looks cooler doing it as godlike, man. It's godlike. But there's a problem, Leon doesn't get that much shit to fight. Straight up. Honestly, I keep saying this. I wanted to do more. I wanted to fight twice the amount of enemies I thought I Wanted twice the amount of enemies in the Leon section just so I can like Do shit, you know He's definitely not he's not as slow as Leon in RE4 is a slight step up but outside of having a parry a slight step up above RE2 remake Leon Like his base is definitely RE2 remake, you know Yeah, he got all the bosses, but not enough enemies, you know. I'm curious on Insanity Mode, yeah. The more I talk about it, I'm kind of curious. Dude, you have three times the amount of enemies that you fight in RE4, even OGRE4. Three times. Well, the problem is, is that the set piece to Raccoon City is the games like Biggest Hook and Gimmick, and it's handled pretty well. The only personal gripe I have with Raccoon City is that it visually gets a little dry over time. That's the issue, is that it's a little too dilapidated. It's a little too gray, it's a little too fallout looking, where I was like, yeah, I kind of, yeah. I think the visuals look amazing, but it's like, I wanted it, you know what I wanted? I wanted it to change like the time of day or some shit. It's a nuke city, I get you, but like make it nighttime. Make it nighttime with moonlight or some shit. Like just make it look a little bit different I progress because everything is like for some reason it's like 6 30 at night for seven hours or some shit and I'm like man if they just switch this to nighttime or some shit it would have been way better a halfway through just aesthetically you know I'm not used to seeing Raccoon City in the day so that was funny but I wanted to see Raccoon City at night again could have been raining something, you know, lightning in the background. Oh, chat. Imagine if at some point or some shit. Imagine as Leon is going up the fucking tower. Could you imagine if like a storm is coming in? And then Sherry's like, be careful, the weather's looking bad. And there's like lightning strikes and shit like that. As he is going up the tower, there's like a visual change where like the escalation of this is getting even crazier type shit. It's kind of been fucking really cool. A storm will go in through RPD. Yeah. Yeah, I don't think I would have minded that either. Too much nitpicking. Can't glaze everything all the time, you know? It's still really good. I nitpick even the things I like the most, but you gotta understand nitpicking is in my personal situation. Me trying to find things, legit. Me trying to establish why I felt certain ways I did during the playthrough, especially in the end, you know? I think 8.5 out of 10. Yeah, I really do. I think about an 8.5 out of 10. I'm not saying it's trash. I think it's great. I loved it. I had a great time from the beginning to end, but I felt like the end was a little flat and I felt like some parts of the game could have been a bit better. Some parts could have been a bit better. Would you bump it up if the aiming felt less annoying? Yes. If it didn't take me like 10 possible attempts at making the aiming not feel like shit, it might have been a nine. Like no kidding. I cannot believe how weird and obtuse the aiming feels until you eventually find a sweet spot and you're like, I'm good. Shit. It's not an issue anymore. I don't have to think about this. What the fuck? The orphanage section sucks. All the residentals do that, bro. They all have a slow moving like kid section. OGE2 had the same thing. Aiming felt completely fine. No, I'm not with you. I'm not with you. There is no way you feel the aiming curve of the default controllers and you're just fine with that shit unless you're just fine with it. I mean, unless you have not played other games that Have you having to do that shit? You lose me, bro. That shit feels bad. It's insane. Use it to turn off acceleration. Right, and that's the thing. The default aiming control scheme is not good. I think it's rough. You have to find a middle ground or some shit. You have to either play on PC or something, you know? Just by default, like aiming and shooting. can feel off, which is the whole fucking point of the game. It's been weird since eight. Exactly. This is not a new thing, Chad. That these are criticisms that have that have been established in the last three to this is the third Resident Evil game where aiming is a fucking problem. And there's going to be probably a shit ton of YouTube videos of how to fix the aiming and IGN articles and all this shit. Aiming feel weird. That is not constitute good aiming where it's like, oh, the aiming just feels fine. They're with that would not exist. They don't that doesn't exist for like, oh, G R E four, R E five, R E six. Even like, you just do it and it feels normal. You're like, okay. So it's like, and yeah, R E two remake was also fucking fine. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, granted, I played R E seven with VR aiming aimed with my face, literally. Um, so yeah, I mean, I'm more sensitive to it. Granted, chat, just in the same way, people don't have an issue with like frame rate stuff or varying frame rates and stuff. I do. Like, I have fucking problems with it when shit is dropping to 40 every once in a while. I can see when it does happen, it takes me out of the game. Some people will be sensitive to it, some people won't. But I get motion sickness in this game, when the aiming was fucked up 100%. Just looking around and like, because like, you'll move the camera and it'll go, like, it'll do this thing where it like, it feels like I'm being grabbed and then it pushes me. And I'm like, what the fuck is going on? This is insane. Chad, could you imagine looking around and you're doing this and it goes, I'm like, I'm going to throw up. I want to fucking throw up, dude. So that shit is bizarre. Like, I can't believe that games have this shit. I don't understand why it feels so weird just to look around and shit. Like, I'm going to throw up. So at some points, it was like when I was running around with Leon and having to do that, and I was like, whoa, shit, dude. When the controller isn't doing the thing that I'm pressing it to do and expecting the camera to go in that direction, and it does something else, like it leans in or some shit, It's like, fucks me up. I just get fucked up. But anyway, we found a correct setting for it in the end. Somebody literally gave me, he's like, these are the settings that were good for me. And I was like, oh, okay, cool. And then it worked. It worked. And then I didn't have an issue for any of the, any of the shit in the last like two hours of the game, no issues. It was like, oh God, this is great. I was hitting literally all of my shots again. I was literally like, not having any issues looking around at stuff. But I didn't feel this like, this like depression in the back of my eyes or some shit as I'm looking around as shit or it's like, everything on that part was fixed as soon as somebody gave me some good settings. So it's like, okay, cool. Cool. Is this going to take an hour of reading chat? We'll say that wish the game was longer, especially since it's 70 bucks. I mean, sure, sure, it's not long. It's shorter. Give up the basement section. The basement section. Are we talking about the ones where you have to get the batteries? I really liked it. where you have to like bring the batteries back and then get all three batteries. I thought it was fine. They felt very alien isolation-ish, right? It's the most like you're having to directly engage with the big girl outside of the very beginning part of the game. It was fine. I felt like all of the gray sections for me were okay. You know? Oh, here's the controller settings. I'll give it to you. guys, if you want to copy this, some person in the chat gave this to me and it fixed everything. Straight up fixed everything. Uh, 10, 11, 10, 5, in third person, right? 5, 5, 10, 10. Fixed everything. Completely fine. Uh, Grace's report in 98 record city was devastated by a massive outbreak caused by a viral leak and umbrella. The US government responded by launching a missile strike to wipe out the infected and eradicated a blockade in 2004, um, following a court trial, the umbrella corporation declared bankruptcy, a complete account of the events was never released. However, in, sorry, I had the console muted, however in 2026 it was discovered that the city had been used as a hub for a production and trafficking of bioweapons. Report reveals that the established narrative of the Rackin City incident was falsifying and it ludicates newly discovered truths surrounding the incident. 1968. 68. Properly understand the truth of what we must first go back to the beginning of it all. Oswald Spencer, James Marcus and Edward Ashford founded the Umbrella Corps. I mean, witness the horrors of the Second World War and the dread of the Cold War, Spencer felt his sense of despair at watching the world repeat the same mistakes he felt like it was his duty to bring about a change. As stated in the records following the Raccoon City incident, his ultimate goal was to bring about the viral evolution of the human race. Thus, he relentlessly pursued virus research through illegal Indian humane means. This fact remains unchanged. The beginning of Umbrella, the company faced rapid change and intense internal strife, most notably the sharp ideological divide between Spencer and Marcus. According to court records, this conflict was cited as a primary factor lending to the unusual developments which followed in 78 James Marcus and all the T-virus, which would go on to become the cause of the subsequent outbreak, 80s. This is a crucial period for understanding the basis of what caused the incident and the truth behind the entire case. influence in ARC's establishment. Remember? Spencer used internal politics to have Marcus demoted, absorbing T-virus research into a facility under his own control. From then, Umbrella began to actively research and develop bioweapons under Spencer's leadership. The underground facility known as ARC, which was discovered during recent events, originally served as an administrative center for all of Umbrella's research. Several documents outlining Spencer's plan for ARC had been discovered. long-term confiscation, concentrated investment in Wesker's plan in the T-Virus, establishment of ARCA as a central command center, developer of ELPIS, development of ELPIS, memory transfer and forced evolution. So the memory transfer has not technically happened yet. This is the first recorded instance of a significant keyword, ELPIS. Connections involvement. Following documents regarding Marcus' involvement, we're also discovered. Markets Foundation, $30 million. The document shows a suspicious flow of funds being channeled to Marcus. The FBI investigations revealed that the source of the funds, the F Foundation, was just one of the puppet organizations of the connections. The F Foundation no longer exists. The Connections is a criminal organization that various government agencies have been sounding the alarm for years. The Solicit Group is at the heart of all this. The evidence suggests that the connections sought involvement with Umbrella's central operations. Additional documents belonging to the protege of Marcus, Brandon Bailey, have been uncovered. Yeah. That's Eve. And Chris. Is that supposed to be fucking Chris behind the thing? Is it Chris under cover or some shit? And then Mila? Or Mia, that's what her name is. No? That's Miranda to the right? Okay. Um, preparations are complete. I think it's time they make contact with me directly. Don't you? I await a response. This indicates that Bailey took over correspondence with the connections succeeding Marcus. Bailey was rumored to be the founder of the connections, but he may have only been a small cog in a larger machine. machine. We now believe the connections has deep roots to the criminal underworld since before the 80s. Much about the connections remains unknown. Spencer's purge. In order for Spencer to obtain complete control over Umbrella, he used force to deal with any internal opposition and influential adversaries. A list of these individuals seemingly prepared by an associate of Spencer's was recently discovered. There was no lore room. Bro, This is the lore room. I just realized RE 8 and RE 7 have lore rooms. By the time you get to the end of the game, you always find a room that has a shit ton of documents and all this stuff that connects the story together. And this game doesn't have that. This is the lore room. I guess the video files are technically the lore, but this is obviously interesting. Interesting. I get a lore report. You missed like 10 documents. No, no, no. We're not talking about documents littered throughout the whole game. In RE7 and RE8 specifically, there is one room you get to that has a shit ton of lore where it's like there's all these questions and lead-ups and everything and then there's this one room to answer everything. Is it good? That's a good question. Is it good? RE4 also had it too. You're right. It did. That was at the end of the game. They're always there to like drop all the information when they don't know how to do it between gameplay stuff. This one didn't really have it. There was like a story moment. The Amber Room. Yeah, the Amber Room was the lower room. That wasn't in the, that wasn't in the OG. The lower room was the floppy disk. Yeah, that's just a plot point, you know? Anyway. In order for Spencer to obtain complete control, all these individuals seemingly prepared by an associate of Spencer's were recently discovered. Re-evaluation list following the CEO's reevaluation protocol measures will be taken against these individuals. James Marcus. Umbrella continued to grow and expand throughout ties with the government. The organization became so large that Spencer could no longer fully control it. Just replace umbrella or connections with Starlink and SpaceX and it'll be very fascinating. Numerous attacks plagued umbrella facilities around the world as a result of poor management. Furthermore, information was being leaked to rival organizations and the connections due to moles who had infiltrated the company. Yet, despite the circumstances, Spencer was able to thoroughly protect and complete his research at ARC, the Research Alpys. While most records regarding Alpys were lost when the destruction of ARC or precious who remain. Spencer's message, 1999. 199 data missing. The family and umbrella Alpes shall bring it all to an end. Try cell HCF the family and umbrella. Okay. The only information leaked about Alpes was that it had the potential to upset the military balance of the entire world. However, a strictly managed password known only to Spencer was needed to access it. What is Elpis? Elpis is a powerful antiviral drug. However, this was unknown to those who saw it. The connections and other black market groups mistakenly thought it to be a powerful bioweapon, but the potential to control human minds. Where did you get that idea guys? Where the fuck did you get that idea? The confusion likely stemmed from the fierce competition surrounding bioweapons development. It It was common knowledge that Spencer, developer of Elpis, aimed for the evolution and control of humanity through viral technology. They were looking at Twitter. Yep. Yep, they were. Based on data taken from confiscated records and changes in Spencer's behavior, we believe Elpis was completed around the mid-1990s. After this period, the records show a marked decrease in the number of public statements for Spencer. A similar decrease in activity was also observed and at the Raccoon City orphanage. Disturbingly, it is suspected that the children at the orphanage had long been used for umbrella experimentation. While Spencer frequently visited the orphanage, records indicated he stopped in the 90s. Furthermore the orphanage was under the research of jurisdiction William Birkin in the late 90s. Birkin turned against Spencer and ultimately leading to the leak of the T-virus. T-virus leaked into umbrella, from the umbrella research facility, Iraq and city causing an unprecedented outbreak. In response, the government decided to launch a missile strike on the city under the pretense of containing the spread. However, this is where we have been misled. The missile strike was not launched to prevent the spread of the infection. The plan was formed to disrupt the relationship between the government and Umbrella and shift the blame for all illegal activities onto Spencer. Found records indicate that the connections lobbied for a missile strike. First assemble, Bennett's arc has been secured, commence the missile strike, the blame will be solely on Spencer, but this umbrella will be dismantled and we'll seize their assets. The goal was the acquisition of umbrella assets, particularly the thing they believed would disrupt the world's military balance elpis. Due to Bailey's involvement, the connections were aware of Umbrella's inner workings prior to Reckon City incident, thus set them up to swiftly secure arc before instructing the government to carry out the missile strike. The umbrella trials. Taking a sip. Can Congress release the Alpes files? They will, but they'll just ignore all the criticism and continue operating like normal. We'll just start a war. As if a well-known trial were held after the events of Raccoon City. Pessimony from Raccoon City survivors, along with evidence submitted by the Global Pharmaceutical, demonstrated the scope of Umbrella's nefarious activities. Evidence against Spencer was presented at the trials by a subordinate Wesker. It is now evident that Wesker was linked to Tricell, which in turn had strong ties to the connections. Therefore, it's highly likely there was pressure from the government and the connections during the trials. In 04, following the outcome of the trials, Umbrella was forced into bankruptcy just the connections in the government intended. Spencer was held accountable as CEO and he disappeared from the public eye. The acquisition of ARC. The connections in the government seized ARC during the Reconcity incident. Therefore, ARC served as a base for the research, development, and distribution of bioweapons. The documents believed to be transaction lists also have been seized. These list umbrellas competitors along with organizations that were previously found guilty of illegal activity. Unfortunately, most evidence was lost due to the collapse of arc recovery efforts continue but success is unlikely proliferation of bioterrorism following the raccoon city accident weapons weaponized viruses developed by umbrella were leaked subsequently instances of bioterrorism utilizing this technology is better on the globe in 2013 president adam benford was assassinated in a bioterrorist attack Leon did that intelligence agencies report that the president wished to reveal the full truth of the raccoon city incident it's possible that president benford was privy to the facts that revealed in this report. Oops. Dude, Leon, if you just like waited until that one Resident Evil movie where like zombies can be turned back into normal people, you'd have been fine. These movies are fucking trash, dude. eight-year girlfriend. Here's the cure. I have bad news for you. Spencer's finally yours. Remaining records about Spencer after the dissolution of Ubrella are scarce, but a new source of information has recently come to light, an interview conducted by Alyssa. Despite being responsible for countless atrocities, Spencer showed some signs of remorse in the interview, having lost everything he saw at its own. Well, Alpes is a powerful instrument that can render viral weapons inert. It also has the potential for, as a penacea, to be used for good. It is possible that Spencer's true motivations behind Alpes were peace and redemption. While he remained obsessed with the evolution of humanity throughout his later years, most testimonies describe him as nothing but a senile old man. Spencer died in 06 as his secluded estate, his intentions behind died, was murdered. Is it true intentions behind developing Alpes will forever remain unknown? Murdered though, like, he has a giant hole in his chest, mysteriously died. Inclusion. As we can see from the records, the Umbrella Corporation's liquidation was intentionally orchestrated by the connections in the government. Furthermore, they were involved in the illegal development of trafficking of bio weapons in Rackin City, the extent to which past and present governments were involved requires further investigation. about the connections remains shrouded in mystery, and most records of their involvement were destroyed alongside Ark. Countless lives lost. As government officials, we have the duty to pursue the truth. If anything, finding it will finally offer some closure to everyone who fell victim of these heinous actions. A government that has a duty to pursue truth, to finally offer closure to victims. Damn, I like living in dream worlds. It's a good story. I like living in a dream world. It's nice. That was okay. I mean, it mostly feels like it's just, we're just gonna make the parts of the story that didn't make any sense. We're going to try to make it sense, you know? We're trying to like put stuff in a sequential sequence that makes it make a bit more sense. Because, yeah, the story, Story in this does not really piece itself together in a way that makes a ton of sense as you're playing through it. It doesn't really, you know? It's kind of there, but like government cover-ups and it requires so much previous game knowledge to a certain degree, you know. The main story feels like whatever Chris is doing. You missed a file that gave Grace guardianship to her mom by Spencer. I mean, we saw that in the cutscene, my dude. I think we could put a C comes after B. I think we figured that out. I mean, she hands the baby to her, and she says, cute kid, but yeah, we get it. She is her mother. We don't really need like the confirmation of like, it's official, maybe we get it. What's the extent of the healing abilities of Albus? It'll turn liquors into hot chicks. If it gives liquors huge tits, then I'm in, dude. Every single liquor gets turned into a mega hot chick. Like a real bimbo. And they say dirty shit. Say less. Sorry, 10 is going to be amazing. So this continues from the final battle. This battle was also weird to me. Right? Like the electricity? Was I missing on mechanics dude like straight up was I like missing out on things like he does all this crazy Electricity bullshit, and you have to like go to certain areas, but I was like Number one. Why is he using electricity? This is also weird You missed a rocket launcher. That's about it. God damn it There was like no weird gimmick to it or anything. It was like oh I have to utilize the stage or some thing in the stage And this had a lot of heels. You just run away. You could steal from him. You can mug him? Yeah I was trying to like see if you can shoot him while he's powering up or some shit. like there's never an opportunity where it's like oh he's here go do this now type of thing you know like for example even in re4 shoot the al-higante it knocks him down and then you hack at the one thing you have to like do a animation go fight the not the garador um go fight the predator monster the alien predator monster by doing damage via freezing him you know like Resident Evil boss shit right the Verdugo yeah like you always have to like do something to make the fight easier in some way like this just a normal thing even fighting Nemesis back in the day or Mr. X was sort of the same way they had to do weird shit they had to utilize like the environment you could pair I guess that was a gimmick you could there was a lack of boss fight mechanics yeah for the fact that Leon is the guy that mostly engages with bosses and you just can parry everything. Like that was crazy to me that these like giant attacks are coming down and I would parry it and I'm like what the fuck. Okay. Okay. Even the Super Mr X at the end of RE2 remake is challenging bro. And they give you a very specific area and section to like figure out what to do how to like get them whittled down and shit. Yeah, the last boss was really easy. Once again, that just that sort of just leads to the fact that a lot of the game is great, and then the ending is just like kind of flat. It just doesn't feel like it's escalating, you know, doesn't feel like it's building up and getting harder and more challenging and utilizing all the shit that you've learned and stuff like that. It doesn't really feel that way. I'm going to play insane. I might want to try it. Weird victory lap placement. Yeah, I didn't even feel like a victory lap. Even when he turned into the Tyrant, I'm sorry, the Nemesis. It didn't even feel like a victory lap. Anyway, I have criticisms of the last, like, 15 minutes of the game. So what do you do, new game? An intense gameplay experience for those who dare play at your own risk? This is skip shit. Oh, what did that say? God damn it. Ah dude, I think the zombies are the best the zombies have ever been in Resident Evil Ever. I think the zombies are actually incredible. They're legit amazing. Not the gun wielding zombies, the ones that are still doing their jobs that they apologize to you as they're attacking you and stuff. It's cool. It's very cool talking zombies and shit, dude. I didn't mind the gore and the blood, I thought it was pretty great. I think the blood was cool as shit. Sanity mode made you... rage quit. For a whole day. What's the big difference? Is there just more enemies? Is there less enemies? Is there... does they do more damage? Or do they pursue you more? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I guess I'll see. It takes like a billion shots. It is what you're looking for. I mean, I felt like the gray section at the beginning of the game was like pretty perfect challenging until you get through the grace section in the hospital at the beginning of the game she you kind of become godlike and then you kill fucking everything like everything just dies there should be an option to skip this part I agree I agree the opening is way too like you just hold forward and go left and right a couple times I think I think that would make sense to me too. That's what I mean, it's like on a first-time playthrough it's amazing. It's more cinematic. It just is, yeah. I can't remember how RE7 opens, is it the same way? I loved the 30 year vending, dude everything in RPD was incredible, I thought it was so well handled. I thought it was done so well. Is that coin there before? In RE7 you walk to the farmhouse? Oh, I don't remember that. It's been a while. Remember getting a coin here? Coins are now in different locations. Cool. The path through the woods. Holy fuck. I forgot about that. Oh, we have to go upstairs or some shit first. That's a mass gerb here. Funny. I guess some things are different. Are we playing through Insanity? I'm just seeing what it's like. I don't have the immediate desire to play through the game again. Immediately, you know? What? Who? What? Who? See you, Zala. There's something that's in there. There's really nothing inside. This goddamn... That was it. Yeah, I'm curious how the gameplay would get more challenging on the Leon section. hurry keep moving grace come on yeah this is probably the best looking game there is right now there might be up there dude Yeah, we just finished, aren't we? So cool. Victor all walking around. I do personally think this is the best Leon has ever been since RE4. Like, OG RE4? I like Leon in this way more than RE4 Remake. I think Leon is just top fucking tier, dude. Like, it almost makes me excited that if there's an opportunity for Capcom... Like, here's where my brain goes. If Capcom fighting games exist beyond Street Fighter, and even in Street Fighter if there's a chance that we can get Leon in a Capcom fighting game at some point which Leon would it be? this one this one this Leon please Leon shows up in Tekken 8 or some shit? this one come on The Leon rank for me, Leon's an Alzheimer. How? Get away! Get away from me! This reminds me a lot of the RE7 section where Mia is like going crazy. You know? Psycho trip, thank you. Reminds me a lot of that. Same director. I'm gone. I'm gone. I'm gone. Now that Victor was a really good bad guy with the finality that didn't kind of like pay him enough homage. Again, everything about the last 15 minutes of the game is a little flat. I thought it was a great bad guy for like 95% of the game. Damn. Okay. From the second playthrough onward, Leon can obtain and tune up equipment earlier. The tactical tracker begins at his inventory. Supply boxes are available in each area. Equipment acquired in previous playthroughs can be obtained from the supply box. Me? Um... Oh, but I do not keep my shit. Never. Gotcha. Oh hi. Oh, hi. Yeah, you just don't keep anything. Why would that be there? I can't do anything with it. Holy shit. They're aiming is so much easier now, Chad. Jesus Christ, but they don't stop! Holy shit. Wow! this is the first enemy this is very spongy by dude this is very spongy holy shit This is not new game plus hard mode, it's um, it's called Insanity. They just have a shit ton of life. Like a shit ton of life. Now upgrading the uh, the durability on this is probably very important. Oh my god, it's so expensive. Holy shit, all the upgrades are mad expensive, too. Okay. Okay. Everything costs literally a fortune. I'm about to get run over. get rid of the lock down what? is it something to keep track of? yeah he's the one to think for all the excitement oh god wow this needs already a pimple head Oh shit. Jesus Christ, bro. I Missed that miss that damn. I never saw that animation. This is so many dudes the the the the the the the the He's one thing for the excellent. Yeah, it's funny. It's like it's not a hardcore middle ground. It is a This is crazy Oh my god, dude, you're so fast bro. You're so fast Under more healing. Oh my god eight eight eight eight eight three of the Oh, man, we have to go through the Alien Isolation sequence again. What if these play out any different? Do you need ribbons to save in the harder difficulty? I'll do it. of Oh They put a lot of ink ribbons and containers and insanity, cool. Let me guess, the light doesn't stop you now or some shit. Oh my god. The dank oid. I don't think I got this before. Where is that? Oh my god, she's so much faster. So she does that immediately. Shit. Bro, she did that immediately. Cut your blind. hold the hell oh my god I didn't do this shit before I didn't do this Ah Great Ben, huh? That is not there normally really this is fascinating If this is like it's not new game plus none of no new game plus is you keeping your shit and it continues This is just a harder difficulty, you know It's not new game plus. NG plus you keep all your shit. Ah, I've fallen. Holy shit. I Push it You don't follow this way. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what makes this hard What like you don't ever come through can I fucking go through the door am I dead? I mean, go through the door. Brother? Yeah, it's stuck on the door. That was a crazy ass death animation. Oh, good. Good. door stuck I've seen a lot of the Leon death animations against the chainsaw. I always saw them. What is that sound? The sound outside the room? I guess I'm gonna have to save here some shit? I'm gonna have to go pick up some shit. So Mara, thank you. The Unicycle Rider, that's what it is. Let me just grab, grab the lighter. of of Oh Oh Bye Yeah, she trips a lot in third person. I'll tell you what, I'll tell you what. What did you talk about, Grace? What are you talking about? I Yeah, she just does that animation way faster should me and her for a long time I wonder, Chat, did, uh, did Elpis cure Emily's blindness? It does, doesn't it? Yeah. Because she's learning how to read. That's what it is. She's not learning Braille. She's learning how to read. This is new. I wish it the elpis ending opens up a lot of possibilities for the franchise are we saying that we're even considering that the other ending is an actual ending my dude like so we're saying the ending where what happens to Leon is an ending that can happen that's what we're saying okay the troll ass ending is an ending like you have a choice I choose this ending I choose this ending with Leon that's the one I choose that's the new one it's real to me god damn it so sad to see go out that way yeah Leon bro if that's how they outed Leon this game would be getting like Star Wars three make two return of the revenge of the Jedi whatever the fuck the thing is called Brian Johnson Star Wars levels of wild shit people be losing people would be rioting in the streets type of shit. That's how they off Leon. Permanently off Leon. Yeah, like Joel back lash type shit. If that's how Leon goes out, the most unceremonious way possible, it would be bad. How's he going? Her report doesn't mention with him? She is literally on the phone with him at the end of the game. she is literally like bye-bye Leon see you next weekend or some shit she's literally on the phone with him she's literally like bye-bye Leon their best ease into shit Leon's like her like you know not bad Leon dying is a bad ending I'm not that's not even an ending it's I don't even it's like saying like one of the random Chrono trigger endings could be canon it's like the one with the developers the one where you find all the devs like yeah that could happen It's a meme. It's like, it's the equivalent of picking Zoe in RE7. The UFO ending, yes. The UFO ending is the one that I like the most. So how do we make this easier on ourselves? Grace, please stop tripping. You're literally tripping. Lady, you're literally tripping. You're literally tripping balls! Dude, she had... she gave me the big suck. She followed me instead. Yeah. She followed me instead. All right, she's mega faster, dude. Yeah, the lighter out, too. She's blind! She's She's blind! She could only hear. I think she's about to look at it. Well, I want to see. She's not blind? Were they not both blind? I thought that was a major plot point. Oh, my God. This looks important. Maybe... No, this way, no, this way. I Oh Fuck of the wall to ship to ship If you go too fast away from her, wow. Wow. It's definitely playing different. I am not looking forward to dealing with this enemy in the later sections. I'm not looking forward to it. in the basement. Jesus, dude, that's gonna be a fucking nightmare. So, this looks important. Maybe. Now, somebody's like, if you move it slower, things will knock over at bullshit. That's bullshit. I'm going to have to do as slow as possible. The question is, why is she... I'm always aggro-ing me here now. She wasn't the first time we did this, she didn't. The views are sitting at overwhelmingly positive, yeah, because the game's great. This game is great, and it's also spooky. That's actually very good. She busted the door there. No teleport this time. over here spawn campin save with what I guess I could do an ink ribbon here but I think if I go in here. Oh no, it's as soon as I go down the hallway. That's what it is. I can't hurt to pick some. I guess. What the hell? Didn't I even get this? I think I did. of Did he ever react to it? That's not good. Sorghum! on the floor completely on the floor You're welcome, everyone, come on! We care for quite a few long-term patients here. All undergoing experimental therapies developed by Dr. Geese. And that's our buying bullets and shit. The bullets did get more expensive too. But they give you Requiem ammo that you can buy. My God, case upgrade, body armor level 1 is insanely expensive. hatchet durability yeah legit that's where my brain was going hatchet durability need to be able to parry experimental therapies yes you have the game in 8.5 out of 10 the facility keeps a low profile due to the sensitive nature of the research oh i bet it does i'm curious where the critical reception of the game lies if it's somewhere between like an eight and a half to a nine curious we're gonna put charms on no we don't have charms yet most are saying about nine yeah that's why was that too Oh shit, hi. Hello. That's really hurting. How? Boy, howdy. We can parry the grabs, wow. Dude, it's insane how much easier aiming is now. Whoa! What, okay, there's nothing in there. One bullet. God damn it. I'm dead. I'm dead. NOOOOOOO! I don't know if the zombie killed another one though. I don't think it was a kill shot. She's all obsessed with it. Hey, put that down. Oh my god. Instacill, yeah. I didn't get the shot up in time. Ow. Can't aura farm an insanity? Yeah you can. Yeah you can. Watch. Here's Lady. Oh my god. So consumed by greed Goddamn Whoa, never seen that before. Holy shit. Never seen that before. of I was on the wrong gun. I was on the wrong gun. You're gonna see all these animations now. No fucking ammo. What? God! Oh god, damn it. I'm almost gonna have to use all my damn Requion ammo to survive this shit. Holy shit! Holy moly! Oh my- holy shit! Oh my god. Holy shit! Dude, could I- could I parry that? of the guy doesn't pop out and then died only then died of you fuckers the ship it's like stuck that healed nothing oh wow it was known it's actually a full heal holy shit So many headshots and it doesn't matter, yeah. Fuck it. Fuck it. Fuck her. Damn it. Swing Leon, are we out of stamina? What the hell? Oh my god, their animation is so weird they don't wind up, they drag it from the ground. Dude, it's like every interaction is a puzzle now. Like even the most basic starter interaction is a puzzle now. Whatever is a way I can actually make. I can make a chainsaw. There we go. Grab it myself. Are you got up? of Oh Jesus Christ, bro What? Where you going? Yeah, I'm over here. of I dare you she missed she missed What the hell? That's a damage. Well, Jesus. Well, that would well. How are you liking the difficulty? It feel, I still think there should be a middle difficulty between the, like, the default playthrough and this one. This feels extreme. Like this feels extreme, you know? Like there should have been a middle ground. Like it's missing a hard core. Now it feels like there's too much. There's no like ease into this, you know? Feels fucking insane. Like every single interaction, I'm just gonna die. The zombies in professional have this much health? things in your end the zombies in RE4 professional have this much at this much health I mean I've played professional in RE4 and didn't seem that bad didn't seem that bad played a little bit of it I didn't beat it and reload my axe Um, big gun? This part's gonna be hell. Yeah, you literally have to find a way to juke everybody, you know? Yeah, you definitely don't want to kill everything even with Leon it's going to be a pain in the neck. Oh, you keep these. That's cool. Oh my god, no more inventory. Oh, Jesus. Jesus. You have access to OP stuff. Yeah, I probably need to buy that. I think that's what I would have to do. I'd have to like, get access to the crazy gear, you know? Machine gun pistol with the ammo, you know, all that kind of shit. There's a reason they give it to you to ease you into this. So wait a minute. Emily is a clone of grace, right? Yeah. But, no. Grace is nobody. Right. So why are they cloning all these kids? Because if it's not Grace implied, the whole reason they're cloning them is so that they can get access to to Elpis, which is like something. They think Grace is special, that's the problem, you know? So, Grace is the real one. Grace is not the OG, she's younger. Grace is the original, that's why they all look alike. Grace is a clone as well. Are you saying that the adopted Spencer child is completely normal, but is a actual? No, I think that was the point of Spencer's story, was that she's just a kid. I think that was a, I think, unless I am greatly misinterpreting what that character is going through, you know? The whole point of Spencer's arc is that he's just taking care of a normal, completely normal child, you know? She got bit by the officer, she is not normal. That's a good point. She never turns or anything, right? She is lab-made though. When does it say that? They think she is, but she's not. The biggest revelation in the game is that she's normal AF, right? There's nothing special about her. Yeah, that's what that's exactly what I'm asking is like there's a disconnect for me because like Chloe also looks just like her. So they were doing this ahead of time. How old is Grace technically? Does that make any sense? Because Grace isn't like 30. I'm I'm also kind of confused on the timeline. She's like 25. Like, does that line up? The Chloe thing was like in 1990, from what I remember. Chloe was alive before Grace. So we're saying that Chloe looking just like Grace is just coincidence? I mean, they all look the same. They all had like the same haircuts and the same fucking shit. So, but here's, right, this kid is Grace, right? I'm trying to put this together because it's like, what is a red herring? No? Then why would they be doing this? Isn't the whole point of spending the money on these kids so that they could release Alpis? Was that the whole point of making the clones? To release Alpis? She's a duplicate of Chloe. Right, right. But they're just, they're unrelated to the main plot events. That's what I mean. Yeah, my assumption is that they thought Grace was special, so they had to make clones. Grace has no connection with the clones. So why were they doing it? just clones just because they love doing it all right I mean they wanted to recreate the help us on the whole memory transfer on each kid. Yeah, I'm a little disconnected on that shit. Were the kids for memory transfer or like, why did they keep doing it? Grace has a connection. She was the successful one from Spencer's experiments. Right. No, we're going back to it and we're saying that she's not normal, right? We're going back and saying she's an experiment. When Spencer Sir, literally says she's completely normal, right? That's the whole point of the story, right? Was he lying? Do we ever get confirmation that he is lying? I mean, I'm not saying he can't lie, but it's like it would be revealed at some point that he was lying, right? He only made a kid so that he can continue Elpis or someone to unlock Elpis or whatever That's very I mean if that's what you're trying to pitch to me That sucks it doesn't it makes the relationship with all these kids and stuff like worse I'm almost like it makes it less in less special You know It's weird if that's the case. Granted, a lot of the story is like told very obtusely, so you can't really, you know, get to wait for the grace report. Wait for Vati Vidya to make a video. Yeah, but I guess that also explains the fact that she is also bitten and, you know, she's not affected. I think that's the one thing that contributes that grace as a, what's it called, as a baby was manipulated in some way or fabricated in some way because she's kind of unaffected by this shit. She's unaffected by the viruses. She's unaffected by getting bit. She has alpice in her blood. That's the opposite of what he says. It definitely is the opposite. Normal because she was cured. Now, normal is in, again, that completely undermines the entire aspect of Spencer and his redemption arc. Here's my... Here's my completely normal human that is unaffected by anything. Like, what? Wait, she just has the super vaccine. Wait, what? Everyone else will be fucked. She will be normal. Like, what? It's like she's given something that is greatly enhancing her over everything else. She's not special at all, but she is. She's like immune. She's super special. Like, she's ridiculously special. She's fucking immune, dude. I thought the whole point of Spencer taking a child and being like, you're just a normal kid. But our hope for the future is just being a good parent or some shit, you know, just being a good person, not imbuing them with the ultra, the, the ultra cure, you know, the anti-resident evil cure to pass on to generations or some shit. It seems a bit different. I like a little bit of that. Um, probably gonna, eh... Can I craft these? It's two herbs make that Gideon stabbed her in the gut and when Leon came back she was healed May yeah, that was a little weird I almost forgot that that happened she literally gets stabbed in The stomach. I don't know if she was healed, but they sort of gloss over that. I I mean, they don't really like focus on it. She passes out from the pain, but it's like not a I guess it's just not a mortal wound Like why did that have to happen? I was kind of confused by that. Why did that have to happen? Was it trying to show us something? Yeah, she got stabbed in like the sternum my dude like she would be internally bleeding Like, that would be bad. That could be a mortal wound. Um, I have no gun yet. She just literally walked it off. Her and Leon are yip yappin'. Uh, she's injured by Leon Stays with her. No, no, no. Leon Stays with her because they can't get out. Like, they literally say this, we're not making it out of here, are we? and then all the lights go off. He's not chilling with her because she's sad. Or she's hurt. They literally are stuck. They're like 9,000 feet underground or some shit. I wonder if zombie placements are different. I don't know how much harder this is. Right, I mean, it doesn't need to be complicated into internet lethal, right, but from a storytelling perspective, why does that happen? It wasn't like she's so strong that her being stabbed, it's like she's so strong that if she wasn't stabbed, she's going to be so god tier to help out Leon or something. It's like, why does she get stabbed in the story? What does it do? But how does it continue the narrative? It specifically focuses on her getting hit and then it doesn't, like, what does it lead to? Why do things happen? Like it's a whole point of stories, you know? Is it the thing that technically removes her from the fight so that you don't have to, so that once again she doesn't have agency really at the end other than being a McGuffin for the code? I think that's literally it. I think it's just a disabler so that you're not expected that she's supposed to be willing or capable. She's supposed to say, like, bad. I think that might be it, which is also kind of shitty. Which also goes against the idea that, like, I wanted her to evolve gameplay-wise. This and once again, Chat. The reason we're having these arguments, this is why the last part of the game feels flat. This is why the last 15 minutes of the game are super fucking flat. That's it. That's why we're having this chat. It's like a lot of stuff at the very last 15 minutes of the game, when all the rest of the game is pretty good, just comes across as like, you guys didn't feel like you knew how to end this. Why so much slower? Why so much slower? Stop looking at me. How upset are you? This game is worth playing. Yes, it's very good. I'll upset her, yeah. Yeah, maybe they're trying to set up the red ending, so by the time you get to a point where things need to be explained, it just doesn't, like, hit. Yeah, and it also is the fact that, like, a lot of us were super into Xeno, naturally. You bitch. You're stuck, you can't... Oh. Oh. Oh, wow. Oh Oh Yeah, Zeno ended up really not doing much he just got his head cut off you got normalized and then he got his head cut off Yeah, the game treated him as the greatest hits, exactly. Pretty much. I mean, that's kind of what it's boiling down to. That's in a different spot. Thank you dude. How much slower can this go? Answer is yes. Hey man, hey man, hey man! Shit! Tackling me. Dude, I can't get out of it! Bro, they didn't even let me R1. Didn't even let me press R1. Why didn't I go back? I mean, it kind of just stumbled in that direction. I wasn't really controlling most of the character. Shit. Shit. Yeah, they turned into a back attack all of a sudden. Am I going to commit to this insanity run? No, I just want to see what it's like. These are the games I want to play. I thought the hung boss fight was pretty cool. I like that a lot. So, you almost look like Agroham. I'm hiding. I'm hiding. Holy shit, he did not want to let me by Holy shit, he hard blocked bro. I was like are you sucking an animation I'm gonna get through this Nope No, bitch was a complete invisible wall I think the best thing to do is actually aggro him and then ring around the Rosie Just to make it go by quicker Yeah, he's the best zombies in the game straight up I agree I agree blocking. Hey bitch, can you like, yeah, yeah, yeah, look at me. What are you gonna do about it? Ah! Right. Oh, that's, no, we're okay. And knock it and then What the Holy shit Holy shit different things are happening every time holy shit You huge crazy asshole that command grab So if you're anywhere closer the zombies are now all doing the big suck from very far From very far we always we see Leon get the big suck in the main campaign But especially now do they have like Zangief command grabs? Jab SPD shit, yeah I'm gonna show you my Mr. X showed up even as a thing. Dude, you can buy them. Like they make them. It's literally, it's established that you can buy Mr. X's. Here's how much they cost. It's negotiable. The reason they have Mr. X is because they turned Raccoon City into a bio-weapon research facility, the whole town. So Mr. X is just for sale. He's not rare. There's more than one Mr. X is what they revealed. With a lot of them. It costs like $120 million. He's also there as RE2 pandering, you know? I think the bigger question is like, how the fuck does Hunk show up? That bitch would be old as hell. They really gonna hire this guy again? Hunk? Hunk would be living his life in the Bahamas or some shit and he's still working for umbrella? Come on. They must have cloned him. He's like a stormtrooper clone. I agree. Okay, wait for it, wait for it. Smack it. Now run. That's how you do it, chat. That's how you do it. Okay, damn it. Helping. Okay. Helping at him. He got promoted. He's fucking hunk. He's in literally infected. He literally has the same virus that Leon has because he was in Raccoon City. It's hunk. He uses the... Yeah, he also does the neck snap. Come on. When you defeat him, the body is gone because he's the grim reaper. He can't die. of I What the fuck nothing's in there brother Very nice of of this guy's not here anymore of the zombies it I'm getting all the bullets with no handgun yet. Gotta go get the pencil. Let's do the shortcut first. by the bar. Oh my god. Holy shit, the zombie zip dude. That's why this foyer is here for this. Dude, they're so fast. They're so fast. One. What do you think a future randomizer this will be? Um, I don't think that does anything. Necessarily. I think it'd be very hard to randomize this because most enemies are not designed to be Maybe in the gray section? You know? Like, liquors don't work in the gray section unless she can make acid, you know? That didn't heal me all the way? I got it. Yeah, this insanity difficulty is pretty friggin' challenging, man. Pretty fuckin' challenging. And it's just because the zombies become so hard to kill. Everything becomes so difficult to take down. Real acid. Right around the corner. I don't know what I'm doing here, but I'm just going to go back to my room and see what's going on. I guess the pencil's still there. Can you open that shit? What the hell? These are probably changed. Moon Sun Star Moon. Holy! enemies do the zombies car grab your ass That was my Aida not showing up. Yeah, it's like the first time that's ever happened. little bit shit what you okay uh... shit oh my god you're so fast bro you next time. Yeah. This is a lot. This is definitely a lot, dude. Then final cut scene see Leon putting on a ring as he walks away. The concert was willing to ring a wedding wedding ring. Right. You know, to Leon, he was dying, he doesn't want potentially the person he loves the most to... He wants to be disconnected from that. So the fact that he can live again is like, yeah, he puts his ring back on because he can be a person. And he's not married to Ada, chat. Leon married a completely normal girl. This is Canon. Leon married a completely normal person. And he is saving himself for Ada. That's what's happening. He's still a virgin. He's been married for 10 years. He's still a virgin and he's saving himself for Ada. We know this. This has been established. The devs have talked about it several times. He's never kissed anybody. He's never talked to other girls. He talks to his wife specifically, but he's saving himself for a duh, a duh. Leon's a 50-year-old virgin. Yes, of course he is. It's Leon Kennedy, dude. Anyway, good time. Fun game. Very fun game. I'm looking forward to when new things are added to it. This extreme difficulty would take some It takes a patience. I do really wish that there was a middle ground that led up to this. This feels harder than almost anything outside of like, um, one-shot runs. I do wish there was kind of like a hardcore difficulty. Because either the game's a bit too easy or now insanely too hard. I think it's kind of a weird balance. D. Hope, thanks for the 10 gift subs. Oh, that's Junior. Thank you, and Phantom. Thanks for the 34 months. Do you want to try the PC port in the future with path tracing? Ah, maybe. Maybe? Maybe. Second run save run is the same, but you keep all your stuff. Yeah. It's like still I wish there was a harder difficulty than it unlocked that isn't insane-o difficulty. All the other difficulties that have been unlocked in previous RAs that we have tried are pretty good it feels normal feels like it's a nice upgrade bit more challenging and shit this shit's fucking insane so it's either like the game is either pretty easy or fucking insane okay now right final puzzle stuff is insane stop that too long The name makes sense. Yeah, you get you get looked at wrong and these zombies kill you they command grab you from across the screen All right, thanks chat Finish up re figure out what we're starting up next week There's a lot of stuff that came out and happened that we got to play that I would like to play Game's pretty good. You like an eight and a half out of ten had a really good time Did not absolutely love The end of the game, the last 15 minutes, but that's fine. The majority of the game was great, dude. It was really good. Chocolate beauty things for the 67 months. Let's call it a day. I'll be back. I'll let you guys know. We've got a week of stuff happening and more games coming out and shit. Anyway, take care, dudes. Shine on. Have a good one. Bye-bye. To show you We all need to shine on To see how far we've come On a young, mean, hallowed flower Yeah, to go searching for our star If in the night I spread my heart, I'll not let you know. It's your own will to fall. It's your own will to fall. You should fall apart. You're gonna get to eat your soul, to carry on. Once I'm leaving from the bird, I'm gonna get to eat your soul, to carry on. To go!
