Um, what is the power difference gain of doing 10 characters versus 20 characters?
I mean, you can actually, I mean, we're not going to show this, but like you can literally
spreadsheet out and math out the percentage chance that you as a player will get a perfectly
geared character from 10 to 20, and obviously each character you add adds diminishing returns,
but it still has value. However, 10 versus 20 allows you to do a few other things. Number
one allows you to gear more options. You never want to do a situation where it's
like, oh wait, we want three of this thing, and then your answer is, well, we don't
really have one. That's not good. Also, this tier has another thing. Instead of
each character, each person in our guild having one geared main, they kind of need multiple
because what's going to happen is we're going to go into some of these raids on Mythic,
either week one or week two, and we're going to try to kill that boss on Mythic multiple
times with our mains split between them, which means people need more than one geared
character to do that.
That's never been able to be done before, really.
So that's another thing that 20 runs allows you to do is to give people multiple
domains. What's the most of one class in spec that has been used? In the last couple years
it's four. Actually, I mean, if you count class it was five. We ran five monks a few times,
actually exactly one time. It was on a few bosses but just in one tier in Gallywix raid.
As far as specs, in the Racer World First era, I guess you could say in the Raid Buff era,
which is basically Shadowlands onwards. I think the most we've ever done is
four of any spec. It's been firemages multiple times.

Mythic Split Dream Rift, this boss. Or, and we will probably, if we kill Crown of the Cosmos
early enough, we'll also probably do like a bunch of three out of six Void Spires on Monday.
But that just depends on how hard that boss is.
How much information do you get from guilds that immediately go into Mythic, like ID or
melee mechanics. Some good or bad information like I mean it's definitely any information is good
but there's been times where we've gone into bosses and thought they were harder than they were because
guilds wiped them a lot and then we'll just one shot it and like we'll like copy their strat instead
of our instead of our like our beta testing strat just because like someone's done it on live
and then like it's just worse and I don't know sometimes we've tricked ourselves with that using
it as information. But also it's certainly good to see something right. Like that's usually what I'm
doing. Like when people are standing Mythic Plus, like that's the best scenario for me ever is like
a guild is starting to pull Mythic because I'm just gonna like just hard watch that the whole time.

Well, rogues make most bosses do 3% less damage to you at all times, which is
is really good. You're likely to always see rogues. They just have a raid buff. But also
sometimes on certain bosses, the raid buff just won't work. So that's fun.
Why did Rogue never get stacked for a Trophic stacking that has worked in the past?
It actually has not worked ever on live.
It worked on Beta or like PTR a couple of times.
They like basically changed a couple of spells and it broke it because it was never intended
to stack.
When they released it, it didn't stack.
And then I think it was PTR before Manaforge it was stacking, but that never made it
to live.
So that's actually like a myth that people keep bringing up that a Trophic poison
stacks that doesn't work that would be obscenely broken and you would play rogues even if they were bad
just to stack a trophic poison but that just uh that just doesn't work
yeah i mean because as you can imagine we heard people saying it before mana forge so we
constantly reported it. We were like, guys, you need to look at this. A trophic poison is stacking
and you can't do this. And every single time, Blizzard's like, guys, this is, we hear you,
it doesn't. Like we, we, we fix that already. Like it just hasn't stacked for months. Right. Okay.
Max, isn't it the case that a trophic just doesn't work on a ton of bosses?
I wouldn't say a ton.
I would say more often than not a trophic poison is very, very good.
Because even if it doesn't work on everything, it might work on a specific mechanic.
For example, imagine a fight where, like, okay, Styx is a good example.
So Styx, almost all the damage you're taking is trash burning, which is sourced to the environment,
which a trophic poison cannot reduce the damage of.
But the boss, the fire never killed you, right?
It just got you low so other things could kill you.
And those other things were things the boss was doing.
like when he put out the the trash like he did that big electric cast that just
like did your entire HP and damage like getting a 3% DR on every single cast of
that is usually the difference between someone dying or not dying because it's
a massive hit which you're already low from right like obviously you'd rather
it work on everything but yeah I would say like a trophic poison most of the
time works on like 80 plus percentage of the boss damage but yeah you're

you're doing intermission in the middle there's like a bunch of dragon clones like images of
the dragons that spawn around the room that do dread breath and no beam. That's like the
main difference. Holy shit. I don't know. I don't know how long this boss is going to
take on Mythic. I mean obviously tuning can change everything, but I could see this boss
dying in less than 10 pulls and I could also see it dying at 100. It just totally depends
on tuning. Like mechanically it won't be hard to do, it's just whether the damage is crazy.

is every single time you kill a big orb,
it spawns a small orb where it died,
and every single time orbs spawn,
those small orbs will reappear,
and if they hit the boss, you also die.
So as the phase keeps going on,
as the boss keeps going on and on,
every time two big orbs spawn,
it'll spawn a small orb for every other orb
that died where that orb died.
Or where it died last I guess is the best way to say it and then like you have to kill those two and
Then there's another mechanic. So you guys know the like six interrupt mobs that spawn
All right, so those still spawn
But you can only interrupt one of them at a time. So they spawn with either
One two three or four stacks of what is basically interrupt armor and then one spawns with zero stacks
And you have to interrupt them with zero stacks which removes the stack from the rest of them
Which means there's another one with zero stacks
So you can't just like randomly CC them.
You have to CC them in the correct order.
Only one of them is actually kickable at a time,
which sounds really annoying,
but it's actually really easy to see
because all of the cast bars are like grayed out,
unless like you see all their cast bars
are yellow right now when they're kickable.
So only the one that is like currently able to be CC'd
