Whether it be the hazard that we know Tread had as it has in his back pocket. There could be other things moved around, but obviously the Vendetta had a great impact. On that last map, let's see here in Blizzard World, if we can have a similar one, St. Clair needed. If they want to extend this series to six, I'm not, that is, yeah, a base from St. Clair right now. And Winthrop, yeah, this is like, this sounds like a Winthrop comp. It looks like one to me. One year we hadn't really seen from at least one front this weekend. Echo out of there I'd say that's their top three hero pick out of him. It is good follow-up, but it's not like close follow-up It's more gonna be reliant on poking at longer ranges and then going in for these quick dives and assassinations It's a lot harder to synergize with the Winston than that of the tracer So thank Claire again very smart ban from them knowing what they want to run I'm assuming it's going to be a TP scouted out and figure it out from there And we'll not just find an opener here. Maybe that's a grapple the up. That's a new one. Oh, yeah No, yeah, that was a very smart reach right there from winter they want nothing to do with this All right, I think this there are echo underrated here. It's not like razor can do much It's not like a church or a church that can poke in front anybody in the sky. Razor doesn't have that same flexibility and that is why immediately we will see the change. Dreadoldus go on to his signature diva and Razor will go to Genji to release some way of dealing with Zera in the sky. That took 30 seconds for St. Clair to decide what composition they wanted to roll out of. And yeah, well informed decision. The time may want back Adelaide of quite Sinclair. He's clear to the high ground, Rack Attack. He's got a vibe in here before he can relocate. Then his own burst again. Look for an opener. Very poke-based. Four-wind drop. Uninfected, disrupting. There it goes. Bio-Made follows in. Won't get anything, but Redix falls. Can't click at the healing in from Alex due to the placement of the bomb on it. Has to sleep from Ultra. Violet just doesn't save Rack Attack. Razor was already in there. It just doesn't seem to be in the case, struggling without the clutch potential, I think, of Zera in this moment. I think that's the one thing the Echo will lack, and St. Clair are happy to get profits because of it. Because of how long it took for them to even start moving into points, and they won't have at least one member towards the back end of this contest, Winter will have another go without their run into a window from Alex. Yeah, you know place that one down along with the girl immortality field and Winston of infects a little too scary Again on tenacious Was good like a set up is there for wind drop, but St. Clair actually trading a backlight this time We managed to get position, but it's an overextension now It's so focused like even himself alive. You can't quite do the same down barrier for reddix to ensure this point is captured Racketack wants to give them a run for their money already gets one Oh my god. Rack attack single-handedly. Turns it around. And a great shout out to Zara. Stolds that point. Now, there's panic dupes. On the tread is able just to contest that point and trigger that ignite from the captive sun. What a save from a windthrope. Both support ultimates now gone from the saints. Left everything else to work with going into the next fight. But that was the point where you feel like they needed to capture this. losing sound barrier there is tragic. You better even get it to LG. You might, but right now it's up to Stan to decide how this game is played. St. Clair, they want nothing to do with it. They're backing off, getting up every bit of port position. The trend doesn't get out. He has to yourself destruct in this small room. Infected is just in there. They huge bionade. From downtown Ultraviolet always find a way to land these when it matters the most. Infected, frozen for the blender. St. Clair are now have less than a minute. Just a little wave like, hey Trin, how's it going, man? All right, I'm out, let's go. Just double-nade in for same, with Primal from affected. There's nowhere for St. Clair to go, and nothing that they could do in that one. One more push to try and keep this attack going. Blading in the overclock here. Hey, I'm anxious. It opened up, and I've got to say, I don't got a very safe position for ulti-violet. He calls in the reinforcements, affected. Comes to save the day. And now no boosted Winston, Dragonblade from Fraser! Think this is the final fight! But I think there's perhaps one more without quickly Winthrop white to the board. Renek should be able to touch. It is more a matter of fact of what are you going to get out of that touch? The amp is here from Alex, but it's going to be tough to get anything done with it. The one benefit is, Winthrop, no ultimates yet, but Rack is quickly building this captive stun, and I don't know if anybody is going to be able to judge you guys, but he dies for it. Gives his life, but he keeps the round going. No supports though, for St. Clair. Permanent damage, now enabled for Winthrop University. Thread thrown out of the mech, and Winthrop will complete a full hunt. We nuked the baby diva for a final effort. Winthrop wants to seal the deal here and now. That's crazy work for Brass, by the way. I wonder how he did that. What else are you gonna do? it's the last person alive, but just to look down and like, it's over, man. Like, it's just done. This round's over. Time to go on the defense. St. Clair need a perfect hold practically here on point A of Blizzard World. If they want to keep this series going, if they want to continue, the reverse sweep went through up, continues to push on forward, and a magnificent hold, and that hero play from Rack and Zera made a giant difference. We could still be talking about a St. Clair attack right now if it wasn't for that type of hero play. Yeah, Zera just stood there like, I'm gonna be a tank for a little bit. Worked out, Raktak took care of business. This is gonna be it for St. Clair. They're investing in the Winthrump pump. Ana, Jetpack. We question if Ana was in the hero pool of anybody, but Alice is gonna pick it up. I've only seen him play Kiriko and Baptiste this semester. It's going to be a new one, but St. Clair, what else do you have to lose? Nothing. Are they going to, oh my god? Whoa! I don't want to say anything yet because I don't want to jinx it. Yeah, don't do that. But I see the vision here. It is a very, my worry is this is very boomer bust. This is either going to work or this is going to fail spectacularly. I don't see many things on Winthrop that are going to be prepared for it. I'm being honest. I can see approximate, oh okay now that, that scares me a little bit with that last swap from Zera. But, do they know? Uh, Sam is not looking up. That is good. There goes Biodid and Sticky Bomb, high by Sam! Walton up behind, a trick play from St. Clair. Real payoff. You end up losing Razor. You need to be very cautious about how they proceed. But they got it once, and I don't think that's going to work in second time. Well, they got to make sure Noxious lives out by Coast, eventually, is able to. There's just still a 4v4 and now a Whopper's it's slept him back. And the sleep of the clutch pickup there from Reddix. Excuse me, to keep this on and off. No mech from Tread though. It's starting to fall apart. Winthrop, they found their win gone. Tread over extended. And as Winston is on the point, one last celebration dance is infected nose. That it hasn't been done. It was a drought for Winthrop without championships. Now they have 1-2 in the exact same day. Winthrop University take the title, the NACE Varsity Cup. Not just open, not just varsity, but both for Winthrop. What a fashion to do it. 4-2 over Northwood and now 4-1 over the Saints of St. Clair. And what a perfect way to end the collegiate overlock season if you are Winthrop. the unanimous number one team in collegiate. Not a doubt about it if there was anyone who kinda thought that this team might be washed, might be out of the books. Well, they had been on the grind the past two weeks to ensure that anyone they come face to face with will feel their wrath. The preparation has paid off and you can see the respect, the smiles between the players at the end of the day. They all compete in the same scene. They know each other. They show the appreciation. And it's a fitting setting off here for St. Clair. This roster, four people graduating at the end of this semester, and it's not the ideal outcome for them. They finish it as a runner-up. But what a way to go out. A great series, but it is the end of an era here in St. Clair. Fair play to them, and a wonderful career for all of I'm honestly hope that you keep their heads held high because that is one heck of a way to go out here at the great finals Yeah, two for two in St. Claire for the Naysa Bargassie Championships also qualified back in the fall Basta ISU there have almost the same score line four two four one They always managed to get their mapping. I think they should be proud of the performance They showed especially at the end of the series and it is the Winthrop Eagles that now have their nests at the very top of Collegiate Overwatch and it's going to stay that way for the rest of the semester. Undisputed champions, that has to be something they have been dying to hear for months and months and months with this roster. They say, hey you can't be ISU. They're able to do it now here. They beat Northwood, they beat St. Clair, they able to beat anybody here in Collegiate overwatch as we're taking a look back at the series one more time. And then we show it every single look here of Winthrop. We get to see a little bit of the hazard. We got to see the wrecking ball with the cat Bastion here and there throughout the day. It's just uniquely 100% the way Winthrop would have wanted it to happen. One of the most flexible teams that we are going to find in a while, because they can play multiple heroes, but playing all of these heroes at a top level, that is a whole different ball game. And the Eagles and Maddens put themselves into it, and Sierra Genji was just on fire throughout this map, throughout the day, happy when he got to play it out, then also Rack Attack 2 on this yardie has had one fantastic game, I really managed to stand out, which is rare for our main support, I guess, technically playing the flex support today in that specific hero. Yeah, this is just perfect. This is the fairytale ending here for Winthrop. We've been talking with a lot of staff, coaches, players, supporters of this team dying for the finally to get this title, not just here, in and open, trying to get both. And they're able to do the double, which can be hard for any team to top this type of performance in a semester. They had their bumps in the road. They lose to Northwood. Twice they drop maps here and there, whether it be off-rolls or sickness or whatever it may be. But at the end, Winthrop are inevitable at the top of the collegiate Overwatch world. And the definition of hard work pays off for this team and even this little curveball that was thrown at them. They managed to rally for quite a bit on this defense and it was like five minutes after the defend and we ended it all on Blizzard World. the second that this map had cued itself up at this series was over. This is the Eagles territory and nobody will be allowed to fight with it in it. Congratulations again to this Winthrop roster and all of the efforts that they have put in to preparing themselves for this very event. I'll take a 4-1 at the end of the day. 4-1 to win the final here and we got to say, is we this the Overwatch era of this event closes behind us what a historic year for collegiate Overwatch we get to crown our champions on land everything going on behind the scenes whether they be everybody here at full sale everybody behind the scenes at blizzard what a way to crown our champions here first time in seven years that we get to do this on a land and I hope it continues that way the support for collegiate Overwatch the talent that is developing here only continues to expand and definitely keep watching as it goes on and it will have to keep a good high on these teams as they continue. Rather, St. Clair might be the end of the road, but with their university still so much to show for their performance. So much to show not even just this semester, I have a feeling they are the next dynasty here in collegiate overwatch. They put everybody on notice. We are the team to beat not just this year, but for years to come. Yeah, we're not talking about the best in collegiate. We're talking about the best in North America Congratulations again to Winthrop University on their win That's gonna be it for us. Matai Shani and Twin Salty on the desk this weekend Thank you so much to all of the collegiate overwatch fans and staff and people made this event happen Let's end it up to Tracy for an interview with the winners Thank you so much guys and a big round of applause for our amazing casters. Are you kidding me? And of course, let's give some love to Winthrop, Winnie, the Varsity Days Grand Finals. Your giant trophy right there. Rack Attack, our caster just called you guys. The beginning of a dynasty, what does that mean to you? Definitely means a lot, coming from last year, I mean, the second place finish really hurt, you know, through the whole year and third, third I guess too. Really good to win both back-to-back championships, and we plan to keep it coming. I love it But most of you hopefully will be back here next year you sir are graduating You're leaving this dynasty in December. How do you feel about that? Awful? I want to say I mean you could take another degree. That's all I'm saying. I'll figure it out All right now get a job get a job, and of course let's see who is our next grand finals overwatch MVP That's you! You just won MVP! How you feeling about this? I'm feeling great. I mean, you know, we've got some disappointing past investors, but to be able to bring home trophies for our collegiate team, it definitely feels great, especially because they give us a lot of resources. And we just got a monster sponsorship, so shout out monster. Let's go. So, yeah, I'm really excited for this game. Well, we're very excited for you guys taking all those trophies back to school, representing your college. Congratulations. Let's give these guys one more round of applause. Well done, guys. You guys can go celebrate. Go ahead. Good job, coach. Good job, coach! Alright, what an exciting moment so far, but folks, you may be wondering, what does it take? What does it take to create an amazing eSports broadcast like this? Beside all the cool toys and professional staff, it's really all about our students. This production has so many Full-South University students in key positions, bringing the NACE Spring 2026 Grand Finals to life. From the lighting you see, the camera shots, all those beautiful graphics, and much, much more. Here at Full-South University, students gain real-world experience on projects and productions, just like this one, while preparing for careers in games, film and television, music, tech, and more. But right now I'm very excited to invite Full-South University's director of eSports and May's chairman of the board, Sarah Kite-Lyn, to the stage for a special scholarship presentation. Come on up, Sarah. And my dear friend. Give it up for Siri, everybody! Yeah! Thanks, everyone. And a big thank you to our friends at Radiant for being such fantastic production partners throughout the entire Overwatch experience. And a big thank you also to obviously NACE and Blizzard for bringing this product to our campus. Fun fact, this is actually the second Blizzard collegiate event that's been hosted here. of the 2019 Blizzard's Hearthstone Collegiate Championship right here in this exact same venue. What's really exciting when we hold events on campus is that it's a completely student run production and all of our students get to come together to really bring this event to life. So we really thank NACE, Blizzard, Radiant and everybody that came to help bring these opportunities to our students. And speaking of opportunities, we have one more opportunity we'd like to give to one special student. So I'm going to bring Riley Long, Executive Director of NACE, and JJ Meyers, Director of Competition for NACE, up to the stage to help me out. So part of our partnership with NACE in this event allows us to give awesome opportunities to students who are learning in real-world education and really doing that hands-on and experiential training to prepare them for their careers. What it also allows us to do is present a scholarship to a student who's been working this event, and you know, obviously working hard all year. And we're gonna present one right now to somebody that's been working today. And the best part is my favorite part because they have no idea. This scholarship recipient is a student in the game business and eSports program, where he's learning all the ins and outs of what it takes to do marketing operations, production, behind the scenes, and front of the scenes for everything related to gaming and eSports. They're about to graduate with a near perfect GPA. They're a varsity athlete on one of our teams. And the student lead of the Armada production crew, leading all of our broadcasts every single week, day in and day out year round. Xander why don't you come upstairs and get your scholarship? Just like that. Yeah! I'm so sorry. Congratulations. I don't want to die. I don't want to die. I don't want to die. That was exciting. I think Xander was wondering how he's going to cash that giant check. We'll figure it out. I think I have to take a picture and not go through the ATM. But again, one more time, congratulations to Xander as well as our double winners today with Runeterrape University winning both Overwatch Grand Finals. But folks, we are so excited to see all of our students here at FullZone recognize for their commitment to their education and their future industries. Distries, but you know what folks over watch maybe over but we still have more coming today Right back with call of duty stick around everyone. We'll see you in a bit I It's rain from above! That's right! I'm from the water! I'm safe! Stop! You're gonna be in trouble! Double! It's right in the water! Double! I'm going for your gold, Miss Keefe! you
