I believe I believe Gravity Can't hold me down Rock on, rock on, rock on Come on, box Come on Box and welcome back for the last day of Thursday and it has been in a week of competition here in beautiful Sao Paulo, Brazil. And we are ready for final. It has been one hell of a tournament, none of it have said except yesterday. What happened yesterday was absolutely amazing and we're gearing up for an even banger day as it's gonna be a rematch of G2 Esports against BLG, team signing the mirror, as usual. They're ready. I saw them at make-up, they're all smiling. They're all ready to take their revenge, BLG, asserting their domination against Europe once again. I hope not because G2 has been fighting and they're going to come in ready today. I'm Laurel joined by Kobe, Emily and Ox. How are you guys doing? I'm great. You know, I've gotten over some trauma that I got just now. I'm looking forward to a great final. You know what? It feels good for once. I'm sorry about this. There's a bunch of expected 3-0s we've had in the tournament, right? The 3-0 tournament! Yeah, surely that's the way we expected things to go, right? Yeah, yeah, exactly. Well, one of them was how I expected it. One of them is not like the other, though. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, obviously, yes, the biggest story that everyone is just assuming that everyone knows already is G2 just destroying the LCK. Get out of the stage, basically. Actually, crazy stuff. You know, when the first ups that happened versus BFX, we're like, whoa, that's kind of crazy. But it's going to go back to normal, right? Yeah. Surely. No. Surely not. 6-0 against the LCK and today the matchup is going to be against the LPL. We'll see about this later But before we get into this, we've been in Brazil for a week. It's been amazing being back here for an international tournament So I actually want to quiz you guys for another secret Oh god, okay This early in the morning? I am too tired for this This time, I didn't see any You have knowledge about Brazil, esports Brazil and CBLO So guys, if you want to hit us with the first question Which Brazilian personality handed out medals to SKT at MSI in 2017? 2017. Do you have it? What's next? I'm gonna go BRTT. No, no, no, no. Oh, no. No? Well, you do have it? Yeah, it was Ronaldo, right? We had it as well. Yeah, it was Ronaldo. Nice. Nice. Bull knowledge. The main one is the main one. Yeah, yeah. Is that BRTT greater than double it? Okay. Nice. All right. Second question we have. Which player has The three redacted. One for Emily, one for... I'm gonna give it to you. You should be using it. Sorry about this. It's me, stuck in L. Alright. What teams have won the most titles in CBLO? Do you guys know? Loud, right? You know everything! Yeah, yeah, yeah. I wanna give you guys a chance to get it. No, it's live, right? I said last. Well, trick question, it's actually a tie. Oh. Oh! Did you know the second one? ENTG. Yeah. And it is correct. Alright, you're not doing so bad actually. Last question here. Name as many players as possible from the Worlds 2014 Kaboom Esports roster. Okay. Leap, Minerva, Tanoons. She knows all about it. No, I'm gonna fuck up No, I'm trying to remember the bot lane 2014 Kaboom lineup. No, that's a long time ago Left, nobody's left. That wasn't the class. That wasn't the class. Yeah. OK. Dan McGorne, she knows me now. Dan McGorne. Dan McGorne. It was a very long time ago. Yeah. Very long time ago, but good job, guys. Oh. I'm so excited. Emily, figure it out. Yes. And as we, great job here, honestly, on this. And again, thank you for Brazil, for hosting this amazing competition. It's been amazing being here. I want to look back at the tournament and what we've seen so far. A lot of one-sided games a lot of interesting matchups as well. So we're gonna play this or that But Brazil edition with issue or a kilo So perfect my cover zone, okay, okay, okay? I need your support in solo queue reports or honor. Where's the honor? What? Poppy jungle I haven't even 80 carries. You are walking in and Nivea support, I am killing you. You're not armed. No, you're not armed. I'm not the support player, though. You're supporting another one. Yeah. OK, second question. OK, what do we got? What do we have? Beans over or under the rice? Oh. Beans over or I always put them on top. I always put them over. Beans on top? The food here, yeah. Beans on top? Yeah, I always put them over. It's the same. It's just like milk and cereal. Come on, get over here! It's just like milk and cereal. You gotta put the liquid on top. OK. The more the better you want. Makes sense. All right, next one. Biggest upset ever? Oh, the feel. Was it the biggest upset ever? Yes, it is! That was the tournament favorites! That was the freaking seventh seed of the AC. So I'm pretty tentative on this because of the tournament structure. I actually give it to another G2 upset, which was 2018. Look at this one. Look at this one. Yeah, this one. This to me is still my biggest upset because of context. Like, RNG are going for the Golden Road. The, the... So are Jen! So are Jen! I did not believe in the bot lane of G2 at that time. Let's just say that's true. I think it's the biggest, like, individual best of five upset, but if it's just, like, upset, I think the whole DRX run is like a tournament upset. This one's a green one. This is the best story. I mean, I don't know! Yeah, this is the biggest challenge! 3-0, but also like... But the tournament! Who had hopes that NA would ever take down LPL in a series though? I knew it! I knew it! What happened the series after? You know what? I agree, Lord. The tournament stops there. It's gonna be fine, but you just... Don't remember the rest of it, you know? I'll give you two... I'll give you two... Okay. From yesterday only because it was... clinical. It was clean. They played Genji game better than Genji themselves. Honestly, like they were the tournament favorites, guys. And they demolished them. It was not even close. As you said, clinical. They were disciplined. They're playing so well. Yeah, I mean, I think the big thing to me was when you look at the way this GT roster came about, the rise of Schumann throughout this year and LeBrov's performance, the fact that they were able to pull off this upset, I mean, Gen G were like we were talking about are they going to drop a game like a single game in this tournament because they only lost two in the entirety of split one. Yeah, I think my expectations was maybe to get the finals, be able to take a game of them, but it was a huge performance and I think massive, this human LeBrov because previously in previous years, a criticism has been those two didn't link up so well. They are completely on the same page now same sentence even with how they've been playing. I think skumando right now At this moment. He is the best jungler in the world. Absolutely absolutely and again this iteration of G2 He used to be Cubs and friends. It's just five players of the same hand this time Hopped off. They're absolutely amazing and even Viper said it in an interview yesterday was like guys We're actually gonna face against you too. What the hell? What the hell? We wanted to see Genji I don't even know if they're ready for that rematch because it is going to be once again a rematch Usually we get G2 BLG once for international events. We don't like it that much as European Yeah, twice guys. We're eating good Especially on the final and I think you have a better chance this time around Do we? Yeah, I mean Viper also said that G2 that they face now is gonna be a different G2 I completely agree in the last couple of series G2 have leveled up and they've played a lot better there. So previously though the history is definitely not in your favor of course. Well, will is 20-25,000. Yeah, there you go. Yeah. I mean, I did appreciate. So, despite, uh, like all of his wins, night thinking of last year's world and being like, we want revenge for that. Going into the first matchup. It's not enough. Yeah. Uh, so it is going to be interesting though, because of how one-sided that series was that we just saw a few days ago. It was. Indeed. Let's forget about the best. Let's only focus about the fact that for the second time, LEC is in finals. At first, then we had KC last year, we had G2 this time around. We're not going to talk about the fact that KC lost really hard against HLE last year, but hey, this tournament belongs to Europe so far. Yeah, it's funny because Viper did win that one. Yeah. Oh my god. Yeah, back again. Viper did get some there. I didn't even wonder who could have won this game. Yeah. We lost against Viper. We lost against LPL in finals so many times. Okay, I don't I don't actually like But it's been a long time since China has or you actually has won an international event. So What is it gonna be like? Is it gonna be caps losing again? Against an LPL team. Is it gonna be BLG who's oh three right now in international finals? It's actually been it belong to the LCK so far that yeah It has just been LCK on a run in the past few years last time the L Calvating was MSI was JDG in 2023, they had a bit of a hot streak back then, you know, a lot of first place finishes for LEC, it's been a much longer time. And you know, there's been some finishes that were, you know, a little bit up there, but, you know, we have the first and second place from KC last year, but a lot of like third, fourth, fifth, sixth, it has been a while since that MSI win from G2, and both these regions have been hunting for a win for a while. And one of them is going to get it today. Yeah, I'm just wondering which curse is going to be stronger because we have the BLG-03 in international finals curse on one side. What do we think about this? I mean, what about the miracle that is going on that we're living in right now? That is this tournament for G2. I think that might be stronger. Yeah, I think the context for these international finals is also super interesting, right? Because you had the finals they lost to Gen G and Chengdu. You had the you had the initial one where they lost the JDG and then obviously losing to T1 in the world's finals that I know People probably don't remember but that series was incredibly incredibly close down to that final game But yeah here is caps versus LPL in international finals. It's only it's only Two times right Two international finals, that's great! No way, that wouldn't have happened! Two worlds finals! It's not worlds this time around, it's going to be a completely different story. It's first stand, and actually they faced BLG, but as you said, Kobe, G2 right now, especially after doing 6-0 against BLTK, not the same team as when they went 0-3 against BLG a few days ago. Yep, different team. I think they've really smoothed out their draft parties, and especially their play. But as you say, literally not the same team. so many different players here over the course of the years and the history of G2. It's crazy because I feel like it took a while for them to actually stabilize and come back to the power they had in 2019 because we were like living in the past for so long as European fans holding on to that 2019 dream and what happened then and we finally have a version that could compete with what 2019 has been able to do a few years ago and the fact that you too at the beginning of the year people doubted them people doubted the fact that they kept on trusting this roster we thought that they reached their ceiling we thought that these players has to have shown everything that they had to show on the international stage and I felt like they took a new form here at first stand so far and might be able to surpass the legacy of 2019 just saying I felt like in the perspective of a lot of fans that kind of been living in the shadow of that old roster. But this really this huge upset they managed to land and the chance to win this international. They are just so strong in their own right. And really, you know, it's only capsules remain that I think for the other players a great chance for them to prove themselves and prove what they can do on the international stage. And I think the thing that is most impressive to me about the way this G2 roster has performed and kind of leveled up is this is an incredibly spartan tournament, right? You have basically no time to be able to adjust. It's basically a night before you're then playing again the next day. It's very quick. It's only a week long. So the fact that G2 really seemed to have taken that BLG loss and turned it into such constructive growth to be in these finals is super, super impressive. Yeah, we'll see if they can pass the test this time around though, because there is still a big step left for them. Have they fully been able to learn from the previous BLG series? Are they going to be able to deal with Ben this time? Listen, I caught up with Hans-Sama yesterday and he gave us a lot of hope and actually I've never seen Hans-Sama like this in an interview. A new man locked in! Locked in after this 6-0 against DLCK, so let's check it out. Hi everyone, welcome to the Verizon Game Day interview here with Hans-Sama, you know him. Our first and finalist, first things first, congratulations. That was an amazing series, but an amazing two last series. Actually, 6 and 0, 6 and 0. Stephen, how did you reflect on this? How did you guys make it so flawless? Actually, I don't have the words for it. I feel like it's such a dream. It's just something that happens just in your dreams. So I was like, OK, I'll pitch my chic or something to make sure it's not a dream, but that is crazy. playing to 6-0 them, and also playing the greatest League of Legends that I think we played on stage. It makes me so happy, especially like I personally and the team was preparing a lot on how we will play on stage, because we look kind of lost against BLG, but those two last best of five is completely different. and I'm like, I don't have words to describe the feeling that I have, I was like shouting so much after we ended, like, yeah, so, so happy. It's actually insane because I see it even right now, the energy you have, you're a new player, I haven't seen you like this in ever, and yeah, maybe in 2017, so, and I'm talking about outside of game, but in game as well, because we've seen you do things that we don't usually see you do on the international stage, so tell Tell me about that drive, that new fire, that new aggressivity that you got, where does it come from? I think I was very, very hyped during the game from the game one against BFX. I was very, you know, that I have to, you know, let's get it. I need to be a father no matter what. I shouldn't give up. I shouldn't be distracted in the game no matter what happens. Because sometimes, yeah, I might feel more anxious than just going in there and just like killing everyone. but I felt like my mind was really accelerated, like really in there I could see a lot of things, macro wise in a smart way to play the game, what we should do as a team to actually win it, everything made clear in my head what we should do and we had a team fight just followed up, everything just made sense to me, team fights were just very easy to play because we also had a really good setup right, like everyone is just playing so well so it makes it very easy. I am very proud of Labrov, how he shifts, how much he plays, how better he plays, I'm sorry. And us in the ball lane, I think we always felt that we could beat anyone in the ball lane from last year, but we were very inconsistent. But in us, in practice, on stage, In all the international tournaments that we did last year, we always felt like we can stomp these guys. And today I'm very happy that we could actually showcase a good lane phase, but not making mistakes, that much mistakes after and just keeping that pressure from the beginning to the end. And that was very nice for the game because you just translate your bot lane into the whole map. It becomes very hard if you keep up the pressure. And I was really into that, just keep up the pressure. never let them the pressure back. No matter what, every single second matters in the game. That's actually insane. When people talk about being locked in, that's what I'm seeing right now. You guys being locked in, you on the bot lane with the whole G2 team and you were talking about BLG from a crushing 0-3 into being a completely different team, making it to finals. How do you keep that fire going tomorrow? Because there's a chance you're going to face off against team again. I think the fire is going to be very important to what I do tonight. Like I need to relax properly, I need to sleep enough, I need to also get the time to revisit how we should play the game, how like what's that, what are the best guidelines that we've learned to follow because if I go into the game and just like freestyle it maybe, maybe some distraction will come but if you know what's supposed to happen then even if you get distracted for just a little bit maybe I'm thinking about my item no you will just do the correct play anyways in terms of macro like whatever because this is not only about just fighting fire fighting it's like how you like plan strategically how to progress the map so yeah I think for For myself, I need to sleep early, playing super early. So tomorrow I need to make sure that I'm in the right mindset of like warming up my hands, like meditation. That's how I will prepare well for a match like this. I see. Okay. Not too many solo queues. Sleep early and see you in finals, Steven. Thank you so much for the interview. Thank you. Great to hear from Hansa. on some of that's not like effortless and I'm right from post game interview with him. The big thing to me that stands out is how he's like, we weren't able to show ourselves in the BLG series, right? And so I'm so glad we were able to show what we can actually do me and liberal of giving credit to his leading partner, and I'm going to revisit something that G2 fans might not want to see. However, I'm going to defend the actual setup, because what happens here is I really like what G2's thought process is. They're going to be trying to make a play on bot lane. So basically, Skiumond, as we play through, is going to be going for this invade onto the blue side of the map to basically split the map for this Caitlyn Muleolane, really get them super, super far ahead, play around that bot lane. And previously, they had struggles with lane before. I loved how he flashes over this for vision. The idea of this is actually really good where it goes wrong is in the 2v2 here right because both teams are going to hit level two around the same time in just a bit and they're both going to try to make these kind of aggressive plays. We see a lot more aggressive bot 2v2 trading as of late but as soon as there's going to be a pulled over peacemaker that's going to come out from Hans as soon as that goes down you can see they immediately go in onto him. He ends up losing almost all of this house has to blow flash. So as Skiumond is cleaning up the Krugs, right? They still are like, okay, we really want to make this play onto bot. The 2v2 didn't go as we planned. However, this is really going to allow the power of this Unara Lulu to just absolutely stop as soon as the brav steps up. He is dead before Skiumond is even really able to do anything, And then they're able to clean up Hans on the back half of it to this absolutely destroys. And this is one of the reasons in addition to night kind of popping off on the Akali. One of the reasons why this went so wrong. But I wanted to point out that I loved the thought process. And the biggest difference to me in their two series post that is that a bot lane is just been playing better in the 2v2 overall. And Schumann has had a really good attention to detail when it comes to playing around his lanes. So I don't disagree with the idea. I don't know if that's a hot take. hot take. The execution was not good. It is a good jungle idea. Not jungle's fault. Skiuma had the right idea. You're playing to like the only lane that you can play to. But Emily, that was pre-brained acceleration that Han Solo was talking about because he was like, oh yeah, in the BFX and the GNG series, my mind was accelerating. Yeah, don't don't worry. We won't see that TV to you again. I will say though because I want to bounce off your point and go plus one because that was one of the games on a show the other game as well where Viper and on also got a tower dive on them where well actually this is a different there we go. So the Allis Star Silver one, this was really early on too. And in a world where both Ann LeBrov very recently have been performing super well. In the actual series versus BLG, it was bought diff in favor of BLG. So basically a lot of the expectations and predictions for this series do bank on the fact that G2's bottom lane are going to look more like the BFX and Gen G series. recent accelerated brain performance, but this one I really want to bring up because On's creativity in champion pool. One of the things that he did in game number one versus G2, he played support Shen and that fearless draft takes off a BB Shen. So On can actually take away champions from other roles very effectively, the Anivia as well, very successful, the Shen, these types of things, and then he can play them very aggressively and make a lot of plays. It was also just crazy the Camille game where he started off like level one flashed in died And then just carried the game from that just unleashed some good on-game start with him dying level one Play the champions he does without some some deaths He's been way more stable this year though. I feel like compared to the previous years. It is LeBron Stepping up gonna be enough is what I'm wondering I mean this game his Nautilus game vs. Genji That was a generational Nautilus game. That was crazy stuff. Skiuman deserves a lot of credit for that game as well, but a LeBrov constantly making these engages and and he was looking way better I want to look at the other side of the map. We could look at every matchup here Honestly, we just picked some of them. Bean and Broken Blade, very different playstyle here also on the top lane So what is the expectations here? We know what happened last time We know that Bean is completely locked in this year, especially this tournament That's the scary top laner. Yeah, this is one big question that GT are gonna have to answer this time around because they have had a very clear game plan You can see for broken blades champs mostly tanks tank tank tank tank tank tank tank tank tank tank and then like a rumbler And and a club thrown in at the very beginning of the tournament And then a bunch of these carry champions or at the very least champions that can play side lanes very effectively And so if you have a split push problem that you're gonna have to deal with that problem became basically the games in game number one and two in the first series that they did play. Ben had the big Ambesa play, he also had a really big NAR play in the second game for them and so that is going to be something to examine because I think G2 will stick with a similar style for Broken Blade. It has been working effectively for them and maybe we can also label Broken Blade Shen as a carry since he sold by Jovey. Outside of the rating phase though, in tight fights. I think Bin honestly has just been such a force to be reckoned with and the team has been setting him up well Shun has been putting attention towards top We see him get massive leads and then just be such a thorn in the side of opponents when he's just constantly freshening a side lane But also, you know, we've had picks like, you know, the gnar which was a big sideline threat he's been playing the siren as well and Somehow just doing crazy damage on that being a big threat in teamfights He feels like a much more well-rounded bin than the bin who first debuted in the international stage And was playing things like fewer and Camille exclusively exactly and that's what was really interesting because it feels like he was a lot Shaker earlier in this split and that's why I want to call your attention to shun because shun returning to this team has been So important to the success of BLG not just Like outside of game because people kind of know him as the vibes guy, right? But he's just really really attentive to his lanes I think his understanding of where he needs to be in relation to his lanes Especially as we've seen from that top side linking up with bin has been super impressive and given how much Schumann has leveled up as specifically over the beginning of this year This is the matchup that I'm actually most excited to watch because I thought Schumann was the biggest difference maker in Overcoming Gen G unexpectedly Canyon was invisible and Schumann was everywhere and I also think shun and yesterday had a phenomenal performance. He is so good with this BLG team and he has such strong awareness of where he needs to be in relation to his lanes. It's super impressive. I always love a jungler that's also not afraid to turbo camp a lane. True. And as we see kind of the return of Shun, right? How we talked about he was on that BLG roster that was narrowly missed winning worlds and now has returned. and BLG look so much better for it because he's been playing so well. Yeah, so many jungle issues for BLG last year, but no more coming back to your ex. Again, as we said, what's the way for BLG, a way more stable version of the roster, scarier as well as they head into final tier. So I want to know what the fans think in our MasterCards fan prediction because G2 making the upset, is it gonna be enough for the fans to believe? Holy cow! Oh yeah, they believe. I mean after you just witnessed the miracle of course you're going to believe yeah, they did take down tournament favorites Yeah, I want to ask the fans that we have here. Who do you think is gonna win today? G2 G2 love it. G2 G2 G2 all right. We're gonna keep on going because I love it Yes, you caps maybe not don't be here You know what? I love it, but I don't love it that much because it's Europe against LPL, it's Caps against LPL. Last time I had that much belief was in 2019 after we crushed T1, made it against FPX and we know how that story ended, guys. So how are we looking at the same thing today? What do you think? I don't think, I'll go, I'm gonna have the same. This was my prediction for the last time these two teams I think if they both play as they did in their semifinals, it's going to be a very close matchup and the difference maker for me is just going to be that top lane like sideline pressure that has been coming out of BLG and also still they're bought 2v2 because I just think Viper and on are playing so so well right now. You know my region has been knocked out. I think I'm a little bit less invested compared to LoL maybe. But I just really hope you'll make you a believer. You'll see I just really hope we get five games. More than three games! Both teams have had phenomenal performances coming in. I think it should be close. What do we think? I mean, I do think it should be close. We do have to remember we've been in so high with all this G2's success but BLG 3-0ed them already this tournament. Even so, I think G2 is a different team and they're going to take it! BB said it yesterday. Delusion no more. Only hope here. Is BLG favorite as they come in this matchup? Did they favor them in the past time and time again? But can they finally overcome the final hurdle where they stopped in the past and seized an international trophy? For G2, is there time to lead the charge and prove that the 6N0 that they did was just the beginning? They're here to restore faith in Europe, especially in finals, especially against BLBL. It's their time to shine and it's our time to kick off The second 2026 first-unit final. Let's get to it! I think coming into the tournament, almost everyone had Gen.G as the favorites, and now that we've beaten them, I'm confident we can take down BLG. It's been so long since Europe has won anything internationally. Winning at first hand would mean so much. I think the BRG is very strong now, and the match is very exciting. So we are very happy with the support. We will fight better and better. No! Triple kill! For the gold and left hand! The last time they'll be getting better of us, but we have already showcased that we're not the same team that lost, like them. Once we get a 69-year-old with a different merit to fight for, we bring her the Empress by, comes down as well as caps, dancing in his shroud and troving, so close to that and will be wiped out. She too do not need an Elder Dragon! Three-zero victory to get a date in the finals! But G2 is a very angry team. We can't be too far away from each other. We've been leveling up the entire time, and I hope they've been doing the same. I've been looking forward to this champion for a long time. So I'll be looking forward to it. We don't want to stop it here. We want to be greedy, we want to give the fans a final win. We have to pick the best team in the world. As now PLG continue their 2nd victory in Paranoia, in the dive with an Aqua Combo! And now the Gala is already dead, PLG have surely found their moment! Shonen's gonna die though, as the Empire's creating space without breaking the will! He finally falls, shall choose your next target! N'Honjin, because he's got the Guardian Angel! Honkyu tries to get away, but Viper does so much damage from a Gorky! And that will do it! Hello and welcome to the 2026 first stand finals. Two teams sit ready to etch their names into history. The hopes of the country lie on the shoulders of BLG. The hopes of a continent rests on the shoulders of the G2. The question is, can G2's form continue or will we see a repeat of a couple of days ago? I mean, there are people who are watching right now who want a ramp for the glory days of the EU and they may not remember the trauma that the European Union has told us to in the region but it has been so long since both of these regions have been able to lift a trophy in International One and now that the Ulster Game has been eliminated it is prime time for both regions to demonstrate their strength on the international stage and take a shot at claiming best in the world And I think it's just so exciting because LCK has been dominating the international scene for years now. The last time an LCK team did not win the title of 2023, that was the LPL hoisting that trophy at MSI. And BLG wants to bring the LPL back to the top of the world. But likewise G2 would like to claim the first international title for use. since 2019. It's been a while and it's still the Sandman in the mid lane leading the charge. He still caps that 4G to the BLG. Looking at two win that title as you say for the first time in three years. They actually lost two JDG in that MSI final. BLG as an organization having never claimed an international title here looking at two change that record. And they built quite the roster to change it with. There's a lot of titles on that roster, even if they didn't win them with BLG, some incredible players with some very good records against EU and against some of these players in particular. BLG has been, you know, dominant in this tournament against G2. They had that series, it looked very one-sided, and, you know, after that you're thinking, all right, well, G2 doesn't really have much of a chance in the rest of the event, but they went on what I believe. You know, we were talking about this earlier and people are going to have their own takes. I already believe it is the most impressive EU performance at any international tournament ever. You took down the number one and the number two LCK seats in best of fives back to back series without dropping a game. To me that has never been topped whether you know you count first stand as valuable as worlds and whatever that's all you know up for debate but this is an extremely competitive format all best of fives no excuses they beat two of the very best teams in the world when no one else has been able to take down the LCK really besides the LCK in years and I mean it's revitalized the hope for Europe and I'm more excited to see the problem is like there's trauma there's so much trauma LPLT international finals the LPL has run rings around caps. That man has not had a good time. But has he done it around Scumond? That's a great question. I mean, that is ultimately going to be the question of the day. What's the LPL record versus Scumond in finals? I mean, right now he's undefeated. That is correct. He's also not won a game. I thought it's you that's naked. Yeah, I mean, I understand what the hot Just along for the ride with my Western combat tier. Us as the region of the West are really going to enjoy watching our Western representatives as I'm seeing my DMs fill up with them as I speak. I'm just kidding. I mean, you obviously, G2 goaded by far the best European or just Western whatever you want to call it, org, ever. And they are doing it once again, carrying the torch for you. That they are, and some of that has been through their changes in drafts since that BLG series in this first draft powered by HOMEN and HyperX. Let's jump in and see if G2 continues to draft the way they have over the last couple of days. So one of the biggest things we've seen both in the BNK series and the Gen G series was this big conversation about Ash Seraphine. BLG have decided we're going to ban it away. Take the Ash out of the equation, we don't think that Seraphine is big of a prior. Now the question becomes why? We've actually seen G2 move away from this as a priority, But as bot lane has become the focus, how does BOG shift their approaches? Lulu seems to be the first pick here in Game War. Yeah, Lulu, really, really powerful. To me now, the question for G2 is, do you pick with Unar, because that I think is the prime pairing. Of course, you can go other things with Lulu, Felio, Zeria, James, whatever you want to do. But Lulu, Unar is really powerful. And so much of pro play right now has become about these kind of standard duos. You mentioned the Ash Seraphine, I would say Karma, Ezreal, these ones are kind of similar as well. And it really comes down to philosophy on if one gets picked, do you pick away the other? Which half of the duo do you think is stronger? Some teams will tell you U-Nar is the more important half of the duo. Other teams will tell you Lulu is. G2 does not want to allow BLG to have that full bot lane duo. And now their question is, do you go kind of like an inferior enchanter or do you just play more standard and play engage alongside it, which is kind of what I expect. And I don't blame G2 for not wanting that bot lane to be played against them because that's what destroyed them in the first series versus BLG. Niko becomes the champion that I'm thinking about the most. I'm still waiting for this Blitzcrank pick to come out as an answer into the Lulu that we're just yet to see, but Nami could be a solid alternative, depending on what style of bot lane they're looking for. Yeah, and Niko is kind of where my mind is at, alongside where Mech was mentioning, because it gives you power on the lane, it gives you engage, it's kind of that middle ground here. I also like Jarvan, because when I was mentioning a lot of these other options, a lot of them are champions without a dash. If you really want to be having hypercarry that scales and also still has that dash if you go Zerri and I think that is an option. You could go towards Zerri. Sivir being hovered here, I would be a little surprised because it is traditionally one of these champions that is very vulnerable to the Jarvan. And when you're picking it early here, there's always the possibility of things like Alistar coming through as well, which you can't actually spell shield that combo. So if G2 wanted to go for engage, you'd already be set up well for a dive comp there in onto this Sivir. I mean, there's going to be a lot of threat, but Piaggia already setting themselves up for a very solid front-to-back style of T5. We've seen Poppy come through from Shen multiple times before. We're expecting this to go into the jungle, and it's going to limit some of those more mobile champions that we're seeing in the meta right now. Also, it limits the impact that Schumann can have. So many times in teamfights, he's the guy locking up the frontline, locking up the carries, making sure that they can't get into the back of a fight. When you have Shen there on the Poppy, he's just going to be able to stop all of that engaged pressure. And I just think it's so smart, because when you have a pick like this, you're already saying, okay, we're drafting Sivir Lulu. You basically have to kill the Sivir or you're not going to win the fight. You know, if you're going through that thought process, okay, well, what do you draft to kill Sivir? You draft dive. What does Poppy kind of pre-counter? Well, if pre-counters dive, right? So I do think it is a really intelligent choice here. And G2, whether they were considering the Alistar or not, are now going to go towards the Nami here. More about the lane power, more about the 2v2. I do think it should give them that winning 2v2. Though BLG can just try to play to hit the wave and try to play for wave clear. They don't necessarily have to interact a lot, but Generally, Nami is going to be considered winning at that Lulu. Now, so far from G2, we've been seeing tank tops. Broken Blade has been responsible for playing on the weak side, and I wonder how much BLG is going to try and pinch this pool, or if instead they feel very confident in Bin's ability to just have that counter-pick. Because my expectation is they want to give caps the best possible matchup. The last time those two midlaners met, it was a very one-sided affair. Knight really vanned the rift when going up against caps in the midlane, so I expect them to want to set him up for success, With the R-E already banned, we've got around a night, a phenomenal R-E playout, used to hold like the highest win rate in the world on the champion. I don't know if he still does, but phenomenal, regardless, so I'm expecting that mid lane pool to be the prime. I think BLG are going to do the same thing they did in their series against J&G. I think they're going to blind NAR, and I think that's why they're going to be also banned. So whether or not G2 is going to actually ban this as a response, this is something they've done in a lot of the best of lives. Well, they'll game one in NAR to set up for a renecd and then the second game, if they want to have that angle, They're kind of pre-bending some of these counters and taking them out of the pool. I would also be pretty worried about Brokenblade having watched that JDG series, because to me, such a key component of BLG's success against JDG is how Shun and Bin played together to put Xiaoshu into the dirt. Like, he had no chance. And Brokenblade is going to have to be prepared for that pressure, prepared for that amount of attention. So, Skumon is really going to have his work cut out for him. And we didn't really see it in the first series of Brokenblade against Clear. clear was getting some leads but there wasn't a lot of pressure top yesterday against Gen G as well most of the focus was down towards that bottom side so we'll see it broken play now playing for Donnelly tanks can actually survive the pressure you're talking about is there. Oh interesting so they're actually gonna fan the renek that's pretty surprising to me because I thought they were gonna be blinding a Nara which is a pretty good match up into that. Little Blanc to me suggests G2 are considering a Kali which is going to be interesting to Lulu and Poppy. I think that would be a really big mistake. That is mostly the match of the people are playing LeBlanc into these days, which is why I'm kind of thinking it might be a suggestion. I feel like Aurora right now is kind of the mid lane ping, and it looks like they're going to lock that one in. I think they're trying to limit Knight's options to have agency in the mid lane pool, but I think that Knight could just go for something like a Victor. They could go full-stailing if they want to, go for the rod of Aegis Victor, have more of a HP, a little bit more less burst. And here's the thing, we talk about BOG being able to get ahead through their solo lanes, get bit ahead, put him on a carry, allow him just to dominate the game. BLG can also just teamfight really well. They're not the best teamfighters in the LPL. I think that goes over to someone like JDG. But still, if you get them to a position where they're even in the late game, everyone on this team can carry. So there is the expected narrow rigging. I'm a little bit surprised by the method there. That one could be right, I'm telling you, I'm saying. So we've seen hook-and-blade domestically blind pick back, even if the risk of an narrow near the side, And they're just probably, as you said, they want to keep it for later on in the series. Yeah, it is interesting. But yeah, the Annie lover right now, we've seen it multiple times into the Aurora matchup. They both do very similar things. Annie has slightly longer range, but Aurora has slightly more versatility. Just in her own New York slam for broken blades. York is actually a very good matchup into NAR. You know, it's a lot about punishing NAR in mini form. I mean, let's be honest, almost all of your mix-ups are going to be about how many morning mists you can hit, right? If you can't hit the E, you don't profit the rules off of them, and it becomes a little bit difficult. But it is a matchup where you can win in 1v1 where you can draw pressure to the sidelines, and this caught the field G has drafted is more about playing 5v5 for sure. So this could throw a wrench in the gears a little bit there for G2. That being said, Cage has some funny interactions, and sometimes it can be pretty difficult to gank. You know, if you're looking at someone like a Poppy, you can sometimes just kind of Cage out the Poppy and just walk straight past. So we'll see if fucking Blake can stay safe and kind of draw pressure on the other side lane. I mean, I will be honest like Aurora in general for EU teams is not something that invokes a lot of hope. But Caps did have a very impressive Aurora yesterday. He was able to find some very nice picks, even almost finding a one-shot on Tarula in the middle lane. And so I'm hoping he can emulate that performance because all of G2 are going to need to step up compared to what we saw in their last series of the EDG. So if Aurora doesn't give you any hope, may I suggest you just squint your eyes and only look at the name plate above your Aurora. Because I think CAPS is a name that does invoke a lot of hope for you over the years. I'm hoping so. I mean, yeah, this is a stressful final. The LPL really have ran you into the ground when it comes to international finals. But G2, they look like a different beast. Let's see how they show up today against their rivals at BLG. For the first time here in the first stand, 20-26 finals, we make our way onto Summoner's Rift. G2 with the weight of the entirety of Europe, resting upon them, a surprise to be sure to see them in this position for BLG. They've been here many times before but have yet to take the title, yet to claim that first place. Hans-Sama stepping up, Knighton on, will be spotted. Hans-Sama just backs away, uses that ward in the middle bush of the lane to know that Viper's waiting as well. I actually really like these Giki level ones. More and more teams are doing this for a while at the start of the season all pro players are just like well I guess level ones aren't a thing anymore you just can't do anything at level one and people have realized if you just sprint down to a lane so what they were expecting was g2 to be playing in this brush here and if cons and the robber in that side brush they probably lose flash and they probably lose a lot of health just from night walking in behind them so I like the attempt there because night gets back doesn't miss any cs mid doesn't miss any xp mid there was really no cost to that and it could have been a big reward. Absolutely. I'm also very interested in what the jungle early game plan is because Azalea you were just mentioning it how in yesterday's series from BLG there was a lot of full star. I've got to interrupt you we've got breaking news a special announcement the MSI and world schedules are now public. You can check out the full schedule on LawleteSports.com including the dates for worlds 2026 with finals at the Barclay Center in New York City. There are also MSI venues dates ticket dates it basically everything Everything you need to start planning for your trips for the 2026 international events apart from this one I would suggest not now coming to South Paulo as today is the last day What That's not that bad. Longstiff kind of wasted his barrier. He popped it when he wasn't actually being hit. Viper was attacking LeBrov in that moment. Otherwise, I think he could have gone really well for G2 if he just early popped the barrier when he was actually trading autos. Really smart base from Viper as well, as he recognized, he invested all of his mana, a lot of his HP, and generally has a pathing bot. So he has to be really careful. That's straight from Broken Blade and the top lane won't be one. Just trading in there with the last rights and the morning misconnecting allows those ghouls to get the extra chase onto them. Perfect timing this base now for Vibe, he's going to come back to lane with the Cull. The wave kind of being frozen underneath this tower, but Hanselma has not had an opportunity to reset LeBron. He's going to use this opportunity to get back to base himself to replenish both that mana and HP. We'll give Hanselma a slight experience advantage, but yeah, he's going to have to be careful now as the wave is going to be put in an awkward spot and Shun could fish for an opportunity. Yeah, Shun is going to come on down and see if they can try to punish on this pushout. They do the pink ward there. Yes, Shun. Oh, just spot out LeBron. LeBron was spot out. Shun. Now, he looks for it. LeBron has to flash away. Shun is looking to the slam into the wall. Viper. He'll stand to 238 hp. Shun want to look for a gank towards mid. Knight hovering the bottom side smartly here, knowing that his jungler's on that side of map. Kat's jumping in. Looking for the slow. Knight has to flash the slope from the weird ink. Unless he could have been caught out with. Shun wants flashing to the chase. The shield from Knight, enough to get him over the numerous meters. A blank here for Shun as well. He dashes across the wall. Skiwon gets a half HP, is on tries to trade back in, knight has the stun, no flash on him, the potting walk Skiwon's gonna get stunned up and knight is low as well Skiwon tries to stack back in, the one pull on the chain exchange so far As the blood comes into both of the attacks, the caps, the caps now needs to run Does still have the flash, she's still trying to chase in Doesn't get the stun against the wall, caps low on mana, flash forward for round The hammer slash not connecting and shun, might just fall to the blob And all is gonna follow through caps, goes across the veil and BLG Go to the death row! G2 started the game off with three kills in the river. It felt like such a heavy overforce from G2. They didn't even have the numbers advantage to start off that fight. But LeBron, James, the man comes in, makes the plays happen, turns the play in their favor, and G2 finds themselves with a 1k gold lead. I mean, it's the slimmest of margins there as well. It looked like it was going to go pretty bad for G2, and they did get first blood on the side of BLG, but then they kept chasing for it, and Broken Blade could be in trouble here. get out with my flashing, but doesn't have much matter. Bin could just chase him down as a range advantage. He's been put in outcode prison for now, Broken Blade. He's just going to recall. You can also TP out in that position, but Bin not chasing him any further. Yeah, that was a really good flash for Broken Blade because it gave him the time for the cooldown to come back up, so Bin couldn't chase. The initial play, great from that. You have to flash the weirding there. Otherwise, the slow means you're not going to be able to get your team great side step come through. And then this flash over from Shun. But it's a slimmest of margins. Misses the stun into the wall there. And that allowed this fight to go on for so much longer, about so much time for the LeBrov to arrive and then watch this next stun from Shun as he goes for the tackle on the wall. If this lands, Caps is just dead to right. He's barely that's a pixel or two away. That allows him to escape. That allows us to sustain really to make the difference. Caps survives, gets the reset on across the veil here and is able to stay safe, get a kill. That is tiny, tiny differences. Both those tackles missed the stun. It was the slimmest of margins and the slow that came through from the Brob applying the E onto himself and then meaning that shouldn't realize I can't actually get in range, I can't actually close the gap anymore into caps. I have to disengage but he ends up just losing his life as well. And the unsung thing about that situation is both of you carries wanted to join that fight too but Hans actually got prior in the river making it hard for Fyber to approach and Hans said you're staying with me buddy, we're actually just going to stick in this long view on because I trust my team to come out ahead. Right using tables here just to harass caps down more about getting the wave in and making sure that caps doesn't have an easy move somewhere else than anything else Something we saw a ton when animid was really met up Couple of MSIs ago I want to say Hans-Sama and the block with the push in towards the bottom lane, Shun is on his way across it as, is Knight Hans-Sama and the block stepping forward, he'll use for the movement speed, Shun's still on the chase doesn't have the flash Hans-Sama trying to get away on the side of the block, step by presence coming down, Hans-Sama steps back forward into it LeBrov so low, slammed into the wall, and BLG will claim their second kill of the game. Really good focus here. They knew LeBrov had no flash from that earlier fight, so it's always eyes on the Nami. They were never going to go for haunt in that situation. Knight uses the tipper, gets Pryo, walks down. Make sure that even if the enemy jungler is there, they are safe, but then now could be in a little trouble. He's not going to come to their stand. Right, Fokkenberg was trying to make him use his E with that dark procession to allow him to come across, but as you say, it doesn't need to be focused in either. The Maiden is down, that wave is going to push in. Skumond might look to go behind the tower here. Ben has no flash, there's a cataclysm. They'll look for the follow-up, but Ben's still very healthy for now. The Ghouls are going to join in. Another Dark Reception! He didn't overextend, but Skumond still finds it! So while the action was happening on the top side of the map, Skumond set his sights on the topside jungle camps. Shun will return to his jungle to find that topside disappeared, but it is Skumond that's able to make the cross map happen. Four to two, the kills in favor of G2. And that is what's been playing so respectful. He has early steel caps, he's not overextending at all, but they just have so much terrain creation there to be able to lock him in when he doesn't have the hop. There's just nothing he can do to get away. I could even chase that by his hands. I'm so amazed. Level six with that calling more perfectly. Time to drop, not yet. Level six, Viper still trading back onto Hunter. Has to pop the barrier, but again, not taking too much damage while it's happening and Hunter's just goes down. Goal he had the advantage with that level six, lights on his way across as well. The proc needs to be careful. Yeah, that's back to back scrimmages on this bot side where Hansen hits the barrier when he's not being hit. Shungling for a flash. Throwing charge. Keepers birding. Knight hit for the follow-up. The cats able to get across the wall in time. So we heard from G2 that stylistically, Gen.G and BLG are quite different. And on your screen is exactly what you're seeing. BLG don't waste any time. G2 think that with the level of the time that they have, it's a good trade for them. But Viper connects double box of the Q on Dahans and the Polymorph timing was perfect. Which means that Hans just wasn't hitting for a very long time. He had the flash available, decided not to commit it. The only saving grace is that it was on that ends up getting the kill. Yeah, I mean it's the con me step. You can't dash into range of the Lulu in that position. You have to play on the edge of the range. You have to pull Lulu into you. They had the level six advantage, but over commitment there from Hans does get punished and pour yourself a barrier. And Hans has been incredible for G2 in these last two series. They need him to stay locked in. They need him to have that kind of performance here. They really do, but Shun at the moment, leading BLG's charge, so consistently burning these flashes, going in, getting capsized flash after the play, down towards the bottom lane. He has been doing a really good job for BLG, and with BLG having this carousel of junglers, Shun coming back in, not only is the glue for the team morale-wise, but also one of the best junglers in the world is Stumond. We've been trying to claim that title over the last couple of days, manages to force out Night Splash. And in my mind, a lot of this here is going to come down to this jungle matchup. People like to talk about Shun because BLG has talked about him as a mood maker, as a guy who is that person who can bring everyone together, keep them positive in the reviews, but he is also absolutely one of the very best junglers in the world. In my mind, these are the two best performing junglers at this tournament, which whoever wins, you are likely going to be the current best jungler in the world. That is going to be the level of performance we are talking about, as Sku-Mond had back-to-back incredible performances against Raptor and Canyon, and Shun last time he fought Sku-Mond really got the better of him. better of them so so much is going to come down to this jungle matchup. I think they're both just very good at reading the state of the map and recognizing what they can and cannot do. Skiwond demonstrated this game already, bot gank happening, I'm going to counter invade pop side, steal away your camps and look for a play for myself, but Shym does the exact same thing. Oh I see Caps looking for a roam trying to follow the Annie, I'm gonna punish you and they just have such great awareness of the prior that they have in their lanes and the pressure that they're able to implement. Doesn't have Flash, Knight, not Duckbook. He's going to get the stun off. Caps looking to go between the walls and Knight. He's sent back to the Bounty G2 Mid-Jungle, finding their fifth total kill together. A 100% kill participation for Skimon, as he makes his presence known on the Rift. He set his sights on Bot lane. As soon as he's on his way across here, I'm having to Flash away. Skimon doesn't have the cataclysm right now. It's still on cooldown, tied away. Viper lost it with the stealth shield, shouldn't holding onto the step-boss presence. They're knocking to the wall with a heroic charge. Scumod over set on on a sliver of HP shields and off to keep the verdict by the block guilty. They have fast forward to get it. A one for one so far. Underneath the tower by Poole should be able to chase out LeBron. Shun is coming to help. It will be a two for one in favor of BLG. LeBron flashing in does get one back but at the end of the day that is your flash to kill off support and Viper is going to be the one to get the kill. He just made that call. You know what? I'm not getting out regardless so I am going to take that trade kill. But Shun here was ready for this. The initial play great from G2, they already forced Knight's Flash with that Cataclysm before. And they know, you know what, even if the knockup doesn't land, Red buff's slow, that's enough, Caps is gonna come in, that's an easy kill. But this play was a little bit telegraphed, you know, G2, look how aggressively they're positioned for. LeBron is walking so far up, so should've just sprinting straight down. And On was holding the Wild Growth the whole time. And I think the awkward part about it was the way it wasn't quite underneath the tower, so Hans couldn't get involved in the play. and no ultsy available on the Jarvan. Think of how different this play could have been if he'd had that ultimate available. BLG just had more resources. You'd committed too much to the play earlier and it meant that BLG get themselves two kills back. Overall though, still two for two in kills, so the gold still remains in G2's favor. I mean, as Cap's monstrously fed, the position he wasn't really in last time, he went up against BLG where it was Knight who was running the show in mid lane and this time, Cap's and Schumann really working well together, They're putting caps in an incredible spot. Aurora is one of these champions that can snowball absolutely out of control. G2 will back away, incredible from the BLG bot lane. A big mis-execution there from G2. I wonder if Cap's is all for this. I wasn't paying attention if it was actually off cooldown at the start of that play, because I'm surprised that he held onto it for so long. Ends up using it where it doesn't connect onto anyone. Viper's able to flash away to safety, and the idea there could have been huge for G2, but at the end of the day, they mis-execute BLG walk away scot-free. Yeah, Viper played that really well. He knows he can't retreat through Cap, so he's gotta fight his way out. And he has bought his way through there, held his bell shield for the bubble as that came through from LeBrov. And they're able to create enough distance. I think Caps did have the ulti as he TP'd in, but I think he was thinking, alright, they have some, they have Sivirol, and he just saved it for kind of the gap closer to be able to chase him down. But Viper and On played this excellently. VLG note that Skimon's on the top side of the map that Grubbs' call of death has come out from the screen. So VLG looked to put the pressure down here. Shun comes across, forces Huns on the Levov to play a little bit more passively. No flash on Levov still. I just, I love how much action is happening around bot lane. If it's not the junglers, the mid lane is permanently roaming. If you guys keep your eyes on the minimap at home, you'll notice Knight permanently moves into fog of war. It is just that threat of, I'm threatening a bot lane roam, I have that possibility the bot lane has to respect it because my jungle is on the other side of the map. But now that a skew wind is passing towards bot and potentially cover, he's now being spotted out on this bot side vision. So there's this huge fight over information on the bot side of the map to enable for both teams to look for plays in that area. You went on vision here, and that's on walks away from the control ward. It's worth noting that it is going to be an ardent sensor rush here from on, so you're not eating mcale's or anything like that. This game is going to be able to accelerate Viper even faster here, give more powerful buffs. Obviously you have to say polymorph a lot of time defensively, but any time you can actually throw that onto the server as well when they're already fed, You're getting a ridiculous amount of attack speed from this little bit between the buff of the W as well as the army sensor The memes as a player that can be a little bit inconsistent on or off You know, it's very easy to make a joke about that name, but over this one I think it's been really excellent. I mean this whole year. I would say he's been really excited You know last year I do think hey some of the memes it's gonna happen, right? You know, it is funny but he has been killing it you know both in the LPL and I felt like yesterday to me he was the player this year he says we can check it on the cold coin base gold grind there as Viper is up about a thousand gold they're about there we go is gonna be looking pretty strong so our fight ascending broken by down to bar he doesn't have the TP available night will so the TP advantage the numbers advantage should go the way of BLG to wrestling control of the mid lane right now off Viper and on, but very difficult to do into a Sivir. Shun and Skiuman just butting heads in the river. Skiuman looking for on, we'll get some damage down onto him, LeBron coming across and there's the he and out of on. No flash burn, but you take the summoner. Yeah you don't want to overcommit there, especially with the objective just around the corner. Skiuman knows he doesn't have his damage dealers right behind him. He needs to get that prior. Sorry buddy, now Bin has had to go down towards the bottom lane so it's both the people without teleports down in that bottom lane, meaning the G2 They definitely want Knights there with them for the start of the fight. He has Flash, he has all, but Cap's is here too. This could be a big fight. On stepping forward, has to Flash away. Tide away coming out is one of the key competitors who will drop with a great heifer prism before he was knocked back. On taking out by Cap, Slim having to Flash. At turns on, a continuous a flight chase and Flash is forward. By the court of the dark procession, they carry it around him and caught him. Quick kills come through from G2. BLG wasn't expecting that level of aggression to come through from the G2 squad. Han Solo steps forward, punishes on. No heal to get him to safety, has to commit the flash, and G2 convert that into more. Bane will do his best to convert it into a tower, but now Nite. Nightmare the tipper's down, has to flash, the AquaVism, LeBronch on point with those so far as quick, and they try to trade onto Bin, who flashes away. But Shun's coming across, Will Lander who are charging to the wall, and now Skull is in a 1v2, and Bin is about to go mega! Gigabin on the rip, Force and Skull flash away, flag and drive, but Shun still chases on trying to come in, to bolster the attack. The charge doesn't connect on the wall, but the snatch will get the slow. A house chucked at Skull, mind everything in the kitchen, to use, to kill him off, and BLG find the enemy jungler. And just like that, look at the gold lead for Ben. As that was a costly roam from Brokenblade. He ran up towards Midlane. You leave Ben alone on that bot side. Not only does he get the plates, he gets first tower gold. Then they try to collapse on him. But Gigabin out plays is up 1.5K out of nowhere. The man is the stuff of Nightmez for the European squads. This man has an incredible record. And he's looking to continue that record as we go back to the hellhole fight. That's slow from Hans-Lama. Starts things off and looks so favorable for G2. Cat quickly turns his attention onto On, gets that initial pick, Shun flashes away, just barely escapes with his life, then the arrival of Broken Blade as you highlight a disail. But Vinny tries to return back to Bel- I saw that! ...to the tracks it's falling to. They think, you know what, if we can kill Vin, we get an easy dragon, but the fight does not go their way. Exactly. I mean, the morning miss, the misses, which means Vin is not really getting threatened that heavily. And Broken Blade almost goes down in the 1v2, But Shun arrives, cleans him up, and then Skiumon realizes, I don't have the damage to finish B, and I have to run for it here. The flash of the EQ combo away from Skiumon was just beautiful from B. The man is locked in, and he's ready to fight. Capture the kill off Knight, and will do so. LeBron is low, and the Skiumon will look in the case as well. And it's only on a certain cataclysm down, but he was burning. Will look Skiumon out, but Kass is still dead. A final drop for Double. Now, 6-0-2 on this Aurora, and the Glover crashes and doesn't run on the Acrophysic. Yeah, the dead man's movespeed there enough for Shun to get out to safety, but Caps is just on fire, and if you're a long time G2 Finn, this is so promising. Seeing Caps in classic form like this, you know he can take over a game. They're gonna be able to get the plates, they're gonna be able to get the tower as well on the topside. Over a 2K gold lead for Caps individually. It's crazy. It feels like that the game right now is Caps versus Bin. The gold leads are in some amounts when we know that Bin has that carry potential. When we look back at this play as it's LeBron, who looks like he's getting caught out, the ultimate gets dropped by Knight, but the heal and the W both keep him alive and the Caps comes out of nowhere to get the pin. He's on the vision, vision, Bin has been caught out and G2 put him in the trash. A huge kill for G2. The gold needs to be back in their favor. And Caps looks on in the mid lane, weeding just short of clipping Lulu's heals. I mean, Caps is just everywhere on the topside play. Bills here are going for that because they think Caps is base, But he's just hiding in that side lane brush then he goes down to bot lane he TP'd there We didn't get to see the setup, but he TP'd down towards bot lane gets a kill on defend They have the Herald they're gonna get probably two charges here Maybe the second full tower, but probably will be able to be defended here by BLG G2 in a great spot here Gentlemen, I was skeptical about EU Aurora I've been skeptical about Cap's overall performance at this tournament, but they have to show up now Now the best time he could possibly show up, a 6-0-3 scoreline on the Aurora and he is dominating on the ref right now. And even more good news for G2 is that this is probably the worst possible solo role you could have got as BLG. They took the early two dragons, great, Chemdex solo can do dirt building when you're low HP. That doesn't help when Cap's 1-juts you from full. Yeah, Cap's absolutely popping off most golden game just ahead of Viper. He only has about 400 gold lead over on Summer. And I mean, Caps, he does want to have a blank on him, and it should. That's what's been coming down TP as well, right away. According to this, looking for it can't quite land the knock-up, and because of that, shouldn't just be able to walk away. But I mentioned it earlier, like, Caps versus LPL has not been a good track record for him. If you look at the international fighters, in fact, then they are 0-6, but right now, that's only focused on the Bands! There's no TP, there's no TP. Down towards the bottom side, should. Does have the flash and can get into the pit. How's the keepers verdicts as well? Easy way to turn this into a numbers advantage for PLG, Knight holding onto the timbers, no flash for him, Stuman still in the pit with G2, Brodenquay trying to keep Viper at bay. Vision in the pit for BLG with that control, well they know what this banon is on, shouldn't try to step forward. Chunked out a little bit by Hunsummer, the Maiden doing a bit of work, Bins ready, wall to cross here, dark concession. Slows him up to the moment, G2 call it off as BLG are able to rebut them. I like the attempt though from G2, they're already committed to that play when they saw Shen on the topside. You've already spent your TP so try to draw them up and hey, we saw on overstep at the Herald fight If that had happened from BLG if there's a little bit of an overstep you get a kill Maybe it turns into a wipe. Maybe it turns into a Baron. They don't flip it though, which is the important thing I can make that happen. I can make that happen. I can show them at night threatening a play From someone who has to need to get out of here, set up presence used between worlds, goes cast, and they escape with the ability to get out of here They just spend all the stress on me There is so much action happening at the Ramp was using on the hunt for the chase, like we have like 10 graphics. So we wanted to bring up through this game. I had a really good joke at the start of the series that I wanted to bring up, but it's been action the entire time. OK. Well, 40 seconds until the dragon. So we're not going to have that much time, because both teams need to get back to pace. They need to spend more gold. They can look at the items on Viper. It's night, but they call out. The obsession going down. Night does have the flash using Tiffus. He uses his flash to get out, soon here as well. He's trying to defend his mid laner. He's doing one on the drop on the chase. We're trying to chunk out soon as much as they can before this drake does come up. bin chasing caps out towards the topside, flashing forward, caps able to use the rocket belt to get himself away from that mini-narrow who was about to turn mega. That is actually huge. Caps didn't have to use a flash for his own and bin used that flash and they keep putting pressure on a knight, forcing him to use defensive flashes. Viper doesn't dodge the flag and drag, flashes away, but the catapult is in full follow! The Lion goes for Viper, still goes down, Q-1 and a flash away! A certain function is cut down to half! The flag and drag out from Skimo now, but Konsama stands forward immediately! Plays the way with the Mikaios from the standout at night! Such good timing, Broomla Brav! That could have been deadly! That is great for G2 bigger people to grab this dragon, no problem! I just love the pressure that they're putting on! Viper needs to flash that initial engage! he held the flash flash late, the capitalism is there to follow, and even with on behind if it is not enough to keep Vyper alive. The thing that has shocked me the most about this game is when they played against Gen.G, my biggest praise to them was their discipline, their control, but now their aggression, they are matching BLG in their choice for violence. And right now on the Rift it is 12 kills to 7, 19 kills in 23 minutes, both these teams are ready to fist fight on the Rift, and BLG they're not holding back any I mean this is a game now that is so much about being for BLG You know you look at the experience advantages night has been put so far down We can go back to this into play that is the mega blast cone getting in you know He had to flash early he does not The Lulu makes it look a little bit closer than you would have wanted for G2 But even with that Lulu there that can't stay alive and I mean night is just falling so far behind He can't get experience. He's not getting far. Me hasn't gotten any kills You know he is down two full levels on caps He can't play in the side lanes. Every time he goes there, he is just getting ganged, forced to use flash defensively. That is the most important tool for any. You want to be looking for these flash multi-man engages. I think the thing for BLG though is, although you're 1.4k behind, you do still have two drakes, so there's no soul point coming up quickly for G2. And you still have, as you said as Ale, bin on his nut. You still have the possibility of a G2 versus the LPL, G2 versus bin moment, of a massive nut in a fight. And you've got enough follow-up to make sure that G2 just die before they have the opportunity to react. And despite the fact that Knight is down two levels, Bin is up two levels on Broken Blade. You know, he's about to hit 17 here, obviously highest level in the game by a lot. Has been playing very heavily through side lanes, you know, up over 11 CS per minute, or thereabouts as Caps is getting some help here. This is trouble for Bin. So Bin has teleport, so how do I use my LeBron? There's the TP, LeBron flashing with the Agri-Bism and they will find Bin. He tries to trade back in, gets an arm and the wall gets a stun, follows it with a wall of the barrier and now 50 puns summer alive, he dashes across the wall and being almost getting Hunsummer The GT where everybody's killed, BOG now collapsed, he's gonna use the TP, getting hit Zhin has to go into Hunsummer, dashes in, gets the Hanna shot down, Apple prison again, Hunsummer still surviving Untaken down to half HP, SKU one tries to trade towards the top site, Vyphe caught out in cataclysm I'm trying to escape the between worlds, the cats are coming in, but they just can't get away B.L.G.s all day were collapsing, and G2 said you could collapse now! Shadow tries to escape, but G2 will not! Give him an inch! They find the ace, and G2 win out of the Bucksaw! Schumann solo killed Viper there as he tried to collapse on the play, and that is what made all the difference here. Ben almost has to monster outplay against three Summoners, nearly takes down Hans, and they're thinking, you know what, G2 spent too much. We can win this fight, we can collapse. Han survives, but watch Skumon. He catches off the AD carry, should just walk through the brush, so Viper's thinking, of course it's safe, my jungler just saw, but they didn't have vision on Skumon. The timing there was perfect from Skumon, he kills off Viper, a solo kill in the middle of the fight. There are a couple of little civil things, little subtle things as well, such as the bubble connecting onto the Lulu, meaning that Han Summer can live for longer. The fact that Cap Caps gains access onto the backline. Broke and Blade isolating Knight. Shun was kind of a one man army on the backline doing everything that he could, but it was not enough as G2 gets an ace against BLG. In the picture, in the picture, we saw Bin actually chasing Broke and Blade out here. Bin did use his jump, now has another, VB no flash, but Caps is on the collapse of Bin. Doesn't really have the reinforcements yet. Viper and Arn now joining with their top laner. G2 will call off the fight. BLG able to reinforce in time. G2 getting further and further ahead here. And the entire Gold lead still really is Cap. So field G can get fights 4v4 somehow where Cap's is in a sign lane. You know, it's gonna look a lot better for them. But Ben really doesn't have much of a lead anymore at this point. And G2, it does feel like they are, you know, that one big fight away from breaking this game open, from being able to get a team fight win, from being able to get that Baron. But Cap has gotta stay really on point. Cause he has been incredible. He's the entire Gold lead. If you go in one bad moment, get polymorphed into an Annie stun in one shot, the game can flip on a tag. In a 26 minute game, well 27 minutes, with 26 kills, Caps has somehow remained deathless. He has constantly played at the very edge, and we have to think back all the way to those very first due kills in the river where he lived with like 50 HP. A single auto attack, a single stun, could have changed the entire dynamic of this game, but he has leveraged that early lead to perfection, and they're looking to close out game one. Dragon spawning in 30 seconds, he has 3 fully completed items with the upgraded boots as well. He is a hard man to kill, level 16 as BLG looked to try and fight this rank. And now it's all on Caps and Skumont to try and defend the mega-basketball. Will be Caps, there's Femmi, Dash is back! They used the between worlds. Knight coming on to the flank here. Caps might just have to burn the flash to escape. He will do so. But the gold lead evaporates as BLG collapses around the Baron. Yeah, they already on the Baron. Viper was hitting that the whole time. He was not chasing. They want to focus this down. G2 will try to settle for the dragon here. But it was Ben on the side that pushed Skumont down. And Hans was positioned very aggressively there. They had no flash. And this engage from Shen, you're thinking, I'm safe, there's no wall. Charges in, knocks him up, wild growth to change it. And just not being able to get anything done, they're just perfect change from BLG. I think Fin's impact in the fight, as you highlighted, was just so monstrous. He did not stop clicking forward. He was just setting his sights on any opponent that was in front of him. Auto, auto, auto, auto, doing so much damage. And with the damage build that he's gone for, that Mini-Nak can run down anyone with the Baron. PLG, say to G2 we're not down and out just yet. Definitely not. I mean, Shun has been on fire. 11 out of 12 KP. This guy has been a part of everything, has been finding plays left, right, and center. And he is very tanky, obviously captures mega fed, but still, the people that are going to be hitting Shun, it's mostly physical damage. And he has the full Randuans plus that dead man's complete. He is a very tanky jungle poppy here at this point. at this point and you already touched on Viper, you know, he's working on his fourth item, got so much gold off of that series of plays. And all Knight really needs to do is land a star. Yes, he's not had the greatest of performances, but at this point Viper and Dana, you're damaged dealers. You'll just need to provide utility onto the right target and you can still be game impactful. They've set their sights on the bot tier too. There's not much that G2 can do to clear this out against the double cannons. This tower is soon to fall. Something though that is at least good for G2 is the fact that you might didn't lose his GA, You still have that that is gonna be very powerful for a fight and Hans does have his flash back now Brokeblade's about to have his flash so they're gonna have a lot of these summoners They just have to watch out because caps will not have flash and could be a target from a flash stun from night She's you're pushing out mid and top will be og push through the bottom side Just short being able to take that tier 2 B.L.G. Now 1.3 thousand got ahead as cast looks for the damage on by but they'll go between worlds Is Cap going to chase any further on the hunt by BLG title wave coming out as well isn't going to find its mark And G2 will call off the chase at that point. That is terrifying That is 3000 damage from two basic abilities across two members the amount of pressure caps can put out is Astronomical so definitely has the ability to still carry this game despite the fact that BLG have that gold lead now Even more pressure on caps because now it's not just been with the lead it's viper and been with massive leads It really is all on caps to be able to find an angle delete one of these strong members Really has to be viper because night just doesn't matter that much once you get to spells down and the rest of the team is kind of too Tanki, I mean I feel like Viper is just fully online with this late game build now He with the support of the Lulu as well this this Sivir is the champion that I think is the scariest from the side of BLG and as you rightly said like Vinny's always there but the main damage either if they can't get rid of Viper there's no way G2 is going to fight. And while BLG doesn't have the most explosive gauge, they have so much movespeak, you have Shrelia's, you have the speed up from the Lulu, you have on the hunt, you have dead man's. G2 really has to be Cognizant of that. And the beginning stood by more vision away from G2 in this jungle as well using those mega blast guns to try and get them broken baby backs away but this will be the tier 2s for BLG. been pushing in caps, looking for a flank, Drake up in two minutes, so still a while before we get there. Looks like Caps just wants to cut the wave as far away from the base as possible, delaying BLG's advances, and he does that as BLG extend the gold lead to 2.2k. Caps was across the bay and dodges away from Shen, not too much damage on the Poffy, unsurprisingly. Night with Flash, and look at this vision control as well. This is the thing that Gta have to be so careful of, because he is always going to be looking for that one-shot potential. Even if he doesn't deliver the final blow himself, the setup that he has onto both Hans and LeBron, his ability to one-shot though means is still very much real, and so they have to respect that. The vision coverage as I was mentioning earlier from BLG is so oppressive, G2's every move is being watched. One of the real difficult things here at 4G2 is how do you get value out of York at this point, right? You know, Hans, he's down in gold, but you're always still going to be valuable here. On the York, you're down, Essentially an entire item. You're not a good team fighter. You don't win side lanes and you're kind of struggling to figure out Okay, what is my role in this game now? You know, can you win if you just show up to a 5v5? Is it better if I just try to pull bin to the side lane and just try to be that sacrificial lamb set up for 44 for my team? I think the job of broken blade becomes pretty complex at this point Just because he didn't get that 1v1 advantage he wants in York has a great team fighter He's just goofing up the team right now with Bin pushes through that bottom side and some are still short of The armor reduction that he really needs to get through Bin and through Shun Sitting on the fiend Hunters, Krakken and the infinity. I just been funneled quite a bit of gold as well We saw him picking up the blue buff earlier on and then the wolves G2 trying to get towards that I've been spiked but BLG doing such a good job of just being impressive During this portion of the game a minute left before the band Bin on the chase here with Shun ED wisely walking away once again, but then we'll take his time to try and clear out the maiden doesn't quite get it And so about half HP you can see viper is is for going the armor pen as well He's going to be going in towards the GA next more concerned about getting one job than he is about you know maximizing damage here So armor is getting picked up on the other side those Q Monde obviously already had the GA's working in towards what I assume is Going to be a random wins broken blade has the jack shows picking up some more armor on top So they're trying to get tanky enough to potentially punish that. We need to be careful, put the flag down for a little bit of vision, Knight was looking for the flank as well. BLG will get the Drake, no real contest from G2, no surprises there. And definitely feel it like that backs her against the rope. And then shock as BLG have been pushing them back over and over over the last five minutes. Yeah, I mean that last teamfight just completely changed the momentum of the game, right? BLG established how effective their teamfighting really is. And G2 are now kind of fishing their buying time, waiting to get a couple more items. The BLDR finished, Khan's gonna have access to a lot more damage, but G2 doing their best to get some semblance of vision onto the top side of the rift. You can see the entire bot side is littered in favour of BLG, but that top side around Baron is still an area of opportunity for G2. Exactly, and that's what they're trying to threaten, because the Baron is about to spot him. Caps looking! Looking for Viper, we're waiting, spell-shooted, well! And that's what Caps needs to do, TP coming behind here by Bin. Broken Blade will be able to spot him out as he comes across the side. G2 still looking for fight, and Knight is not here. This is a 4v3 in favor of G2. Schumann looking for a flank now as Viper and Unbegin to collapse upon him. Bin doing the same night now able to join up with BLG and G2 pulled the trigger, but they fired a blank. BLG still chasing onto Schumann, flag and drag. Flash over from Bin. Reckon Blake is here for the Darker Session and Schumann will have to flash away to escape the clutches of BLG. Trade of flashes there. The question is, was that worthwhile for Bin because he is such a strong member. Schumann will be missing that flash, obviously pretty costly, But at this point in the game on the Jarvan, it's kind of less about you. It's more just about, you know, falling down that cataclysm. Well, with the HP advantage that BLG have, there's no reason not to threaten this Baron. Shun's going to get a little bit of health back from the Skull Crab. They've now claimed full vision control around the river. See how difficult it is for G2 to actually approach. Caps is fishing. Shield though, from Hellpick. Some from the bloodthirster, Viper thrown and chipped away a little bit. As Caps goes in again, there's the barry-out Viper. Shun falling low as the cataclysm comes in, but they don't know where Knight is, and some G2 have to play so cautiously. McKelsen, Scumon gets him out of the tip of the sun. Shouldn't diving in with the Heroic charge stun, but can't quite land it. And Scumon, once again able to back away from the play. BLG though, healthy. Kuchus turned their eyes to the Baron again. These Ricksjays are becoming such a problem. Viper is getting jumped out by Caps, but he just heals back and full. The Ricksjays bounce through the team and I think they're gonna threaten the Baron here for sure. They have a big HP advantage at this point. Caps is ult is gone, Hans is ult is gone. Scumon's ult is all gone. There's no reason for BLG not to force this objective. TP from Katz looking to that flank position. Binh down to a third, doesn't have the mega, he's a long way away from that rage bar as well. The Bannon's sitting at 13,000 on the hunt, he's popped by Viper but he can't get further than the Dark Possession. They're broken by the Loxamin, BB does have the Flash, but stunned against the wall, doesn't have a chance to use their BLG. Find a kill and now we'll turn their attention back towards the Big Purple War. That's all they needed, a single kill, now a big part of their frontline has disappeared. Minion damage is good on the bot side of the Rift, but Katz has no TP available to him with 4 vs 5. PLG would firm control over this objective and the brand is simply melting. The Knight's still looking for that flank, keep his verdict out from Shun, lands it onto the Robb Knight. Gonna walk forward here that is spotted on vision, Han Summer's trying to step in, does have the flash and barrier, but until the Robb is back no Miquel's no cleanse for him. Skimoan trying to get into the pit but he just can't get close enough, flag and drag is only option. On-forming low, Han Summer stepping in, they turn off the knight instead. PLG will secure the Baron and Knight goes down for it, Han Summer still dashes forward, flashes! The Sun! The Sun! If we're able to get away from the Robertson, it's gonna get chased down by G2. The chase continues, it's a skill of fighting to battle the lane. Venerable Nuggets give on head to GA. The Angel of the Soda will bring it back as Calf smiles at Mother. The WG's got the Baron, but that won't cost. G2 will continue to chase and fight for both of the Trepanel! Ben Winnell, the other, and G2 will want to relegate him to the trash. The go-on for Ben, not enough to die! G2 overcome, their team and none has been as they need to fight to play away the Baron. G2 have all five members alive, look at those death timers, 9, 15 seconds. G2 they have to go for the Nexus, they have to try and end the game. They're gonna look for the push through Botside, they're gonna hit it and their Knight is back up in 9. They don't have a wave, the question is can they do it? They're looking to close it out without a wave, perhaps a step too far here for G2. I think they can do it, though they're pushing forward. Knighty's got to try to get behind them and clear the waves, but they're going in. Rook and Knighty puts them into the cage, and B.O.G. are buried! G2, their attention on the next is to keep his balance! Bites B.O.G. Guilty! G2 on an O! Classic cap performance! This was one for the ages. This man refused to lose. Cash took over this game. What a performance, Louch! What do you think? I think that my court is only so high right now. What the hell was this game? Holy G2 take game 1 here in what was one of the closest game we've seen so far in the tournament. I have no words please, go ahead. Go ahead. Take it. It so tensed down the final moment and it really felt like just a little outplays in that last fight. Hands on a flashing the poppy stone, but it was build you out of control for a good portion of the mid to late. And everybody better be honoring caps. Holy, what a performance that Aurora was massive. Yeah, the biggest difference maker to me is that this A&E really wasn't able to do much. And the caps got fed super, super early. That being said, it was so close between these two teams. And it came down to, because it looked like BLG were going to get back into it. It came down to this final fight right at Baron. And thanks to Reliable Cisco Network, we're going to take a look at that now. This was so close. I was so scared. I mean, Shun! Shun was so hard to play around, guys, and then they ended up split. Look at his flash. Avoids the poppy stun, and they can push forward freely. And Cap just is getting so much damage down every time his abilities are up. But the whole team just sends his blood in the water and it's moving forward. And BLG just lose control of the game from here. Not only that flash, but Hans also starts the whole thing off. He jumps onto on. Yeah. Forces the flash gets the health bar low. That's when G2 make the call Okay, everybody else you're going to kill night and they move forward and this has been such a big topic It's been a Han Sama killer instinct at this tournament against BFX against Gen G And now even though the beginning of the game was a little bit rough for him. He turned it on here when it counts The big thing to me too is that I just want to bring out a fact Ben is undef- was undefeated on NAR coming into this game. He was 8 and 0. This is his first loss on NAR all year. And Jen, he wasn't defeated at first then, before Jen, she can't put it on. I'm telling you, he's one of your sons. I'm talking crap. I'm just highlighting the fact that he's been there. Get up, Lord, get up, Lord! Later of the game, guys. Who do we think it is? It's gotta be Caps, right? It's gotta be Caps. Absolutely caps like night was at it wasn't really a huge factor in this game at all and cabs had this monstrous Aurora performance off of these early skirmishes where G2 and BLG were just trading blows back and forth. We saw this super super aggressive early game Okay, yeah, I was like you have to give it to cabs, right? Yeah, I mean, that's the reason we put up the the MJ and Pippin meme again is because him and Schumann once again right out of the gate Yeah, came down to a perfect synergy between mid and jungle came down to a perfect cohesion from G2 Esports as a whole and Emily Dylan Falco said it's ahead of the series against VLG. They are aggressive They're gonna fight you any chance they can but it's up to the mistakes that they make and how much they can pick up on that That's why it's so hard for me to like, you know bet on BLG at times, right? Because they can be so aggressive and they can overextend you saw multiple times where they were pushing the plane. It was by the slimmest of margins that they didn't get it, right? And that is how this team is always gonna kind of approach things. This is a team that really wants to smash you early and just take over the game as we saw in the first series. Now G2 taking this game again giving bin his first loss on our all year and well and taking night completely out of the game was the biggest that that gold rough is G2 fans hot writes throughout the game I think it's great that we saw them take down Gen G in this controlled fashion and now against BLD it's the chaotic aggressive just hit them in the face style what do we want to see next we we're gonna see bloodbath that's all I know that's what I want to see because I wanted to We already saw them beat Gen.G at the LCK style, now beat LPL at the LPL style. Just get more bloody and more chaotic. I want to see more action. And it's just game one. We might have four more lag vests to go, but it's G2 once again opening up the score against the LPL. Let's see what happens next. Red Bull gives you wings. The greatest players in the world are here. They can just burn this one out! I got you all in my eyes! You are going to see them like you've never seen them before. Fuck it, Will, they are going to stop doing so much work in Gen G! They are just going to ace them! I don't want to be in this defense because I don't want to play single-player. Gen G, the EWC Women's! When I was a player, if I was to make a misplay, maybe it's my mouse, maybe it's my armrest, something feels wrong. If you were at home, you wouldn't do that. The Infinite Precision Armrest is part of the largest Euclid on-stage standard initiative aimed to bring your home or training settings the bottom of the stage. Not only that, other players will make the setting more natural. The most comfortable play comes out more naturally. I'm gonna help you, sir. Here's the bill from the dealership where I got my car, and I'd like you to beat it with a better deal on one of these fine cars. Not how it works. I guess you're not as cool as Verizon. Bring in your AT&T or T-Mobile bill for a better deal today. I said we that you want me Get ready to kick my head Can't talk cause it's so easy Don't let it, don't let it You told me that you want me Get ready to kick my head Can't talk cause it's so easy Come on, come on, yeah Come and get it Watch and love it Come and get it Watch and love it Come and get it Watch and love it I feel like I'm saying, I feel like I'm saying You tell me that you want me Get ready to kick like me Can't copy the suit easy, throw it out, throw it out You tell me that you want me Get ready to keep climbing Keep comfy with your hips And that's all I got Down, down, down Up, down, down I'm gonna, I'm gonna Gonna, I'm gonna Gonna, I'm gonna Down, down, down I'm gonna, I'm gonna Gonna, I'm gonna Gonna, I'm gonna I think coming into the tournament, almost everyone had Gen.G as their favorites to win the whole tournament, and now that we've beaten them, I'm confident we can take down BLG. Back in, we came into the tournament and took me a little bit shaky, especially against BLG, but we knew we could do better. We had so many lessons from last Worlds, from last MSI, and then once again we just got destroyed by BLG. It felt so bad because we know we can do better, we've been working on all these concepts throughout the whole year and we really want to showcase it, so I'm just extremely proud of my team, I'm super happy that we finally get to showcase it. And showcased if they did, I mean, it's incredible, but welcome back to first stand tickets are on sale now both for the LEC and LCS strength splits scan the QR code on your screen to get yours now. But one of the things that to me, I've always really appreciated with caps is his unwavering faith in his own ability. Sometimes people will meme on him when he says, you know, my goal is to win worlds. My goal is to do this. I believe we can take down Gen G, you know, we're trying to win first stand. We're not just trying to scrape by, you know, and win a game here or there. Imports to exactly he's always believed in his ability to do it And I think for a lot of time people especially who weren't there in the old days when he really was mixing it up with the very very best teams We're kind of memeing him over these last couple years But again, he has proven himself that he can continue to rise the occasion taking down back-to-back LCK teams now one here against BLG They are just doing better and better and yeah, he got stopped by night last time. He just stopped BLG I mean That game, I don't have my call to stop It's just like me in solo queue It's um, I am just so happy that he does not have to experience another LPL 3.0 Again, so for people that didn't watch back then back in 2018 and 2019 he met IG in 2018 World Finals finals, FPX in 2019 World Finals, and both series were 3-0, but G2 back then was as equally hyped as they are right now. And the context was different, but the way in which they went into those finals, expectations were that it was going to be a close series, or that they were favorites to win the whole thing, and then they ended up not getting a single game. So the fact that he kind of overcame his demons and finally got a game against the LPL, I think is just a huge personal win for Caps, and also just an ignite again, more hope for Europe. It really does. It really does. For BLG though, they've been in this position before. They know what it's like to go 0-1 down. They have also been in this position in finals before and then lost those finals. They've not got an international title to their names. We've seen them struggle against JDG. We've seen them struggle against, it was 23, 24. They had so many times that they've just been one step short of that finish line. The finals in 24 against T1, they went all five games and relied on another incredible midlaner, probably definitely the best meddlinger of all time, Baker, to take them down. That's not bad, you know, the devils of League of Legends, and I know you know this, but you're talking about BLG, the organization has not won that international title. Of course a lot of international titles between their players here and trying to get one for that organization here Trying to bounce back. I mean Knight had a game that was a tough one Do you want to caps really did put him in the dirt pretty early on? Broken blade had a tough game on the topside, but it just didn't end up mattering because caps really made the game about himself His advantage and he was everywhere on the map. That is to me caps at his best is when he is so active when he's just non-stop making plays. Very much agree BLG once again pick first pick here going into this game we have exactly the same bands as we did in game one and Pantheon will be the lock for sure. So sideline, threat, early game action, Zin Zhao is something that Skiamon will often use as an answer sometimes we see the Vi but what interesting thing has happened in the series now is with both Nami and Lulu already gone remember that things like Ash Seraphine rise and But again the Ash has been banned and then with Lulu Corky now no longer an option and then also you know our Lulu no longer an option So how does the bot lane dynamic change as Bard is going to be the lock-in and it's going to be another range support from the brawl I think it makes a lot of sense right you've been having so much success for your bot lane to be to these two LCK teams Continue to really emphasize that Bart has a good laning phase and you can be active on the map And I think it's also a good takeaway from on his Bard game yesterday was stellar. So it's a denial pick, it gets you winning 2v2, Skiumon gonna go to his Mundo which I'm really starting to associate with him more and more and more and I think they're pretty much set up for success early with these double picks. Going for Mundo early though means that there are ways to draft around it. It can be good into the Pantheon matchup of course, but Ezreal is another thing to think about for G2 because they want to have some a champion that can play safe and it seems like people have a similar read and want to deny that pick away from G2. I mean one of the things that I like is that because Pantheon was first pick, Mundo feels more safe since Trundle is one of the things that you're always really scared of, right? But it's like unless you're gonna go Pantheon support and go really cook, it's on! It's on! They can do these things! I believe that Shen is more important than Pantheon. I agree with you there, I do think it's more like it's more like it's more like it's Shen support on has brought a couple of times through the LPL playoffs and through the LPL regular season. And against G2 it's a double whammy, because not only do you lock in Shen support to have more of a global presence, But you take it away from Broken Blade in the series as well. Yeah, it's great. And I mean, I'm a big Shen enjoyer. I love playing Shen on champions that have global, semi-globals. Because you just go along for the ride. Pantheon flies into that backline with the Grand Starfall. All of a sudden, two members spawn in on the enemy AD carry. And you're looking for that type of hard engage, that type of play. But that being said, Bard can answer that. It is very telegraphed. You see a massive graphic coming up. You know, when Pantheon is ulting in, and you can sometimes use that barrel to pre-empt the play to stop that engagement coming through. Moving to the second phase, and you have to imagine a game like Auri, a very important champion in the context of this series. You don't want to give Auri tonight in this situation. Pantheon plus Auri. In any situation, buddy. Now I had a quiet game, Juan. I'm telling you right now, he's not going to have a quiet series. The focus is very much drawn to us. You do want to give it to him. You absolutely do. So, with the Mel band, it looks like G2 is fishing for an RE themselves. They're very clearly saying, hey, you know what, if you don't ban it away, we're gonna pick it this time round. We want to take it away from you. We want that extra bit of mobility, and Mel is seen as often that go-to answer into RE especially. Mel is just super popular in the LPL in general. You know, that lead more so than any other really did like this pick quite a lot. So, it's a bit surprisingly successful. I kind of like I rated the pick coming into the tournament, but she's been very effective. They don't want to run the risk of giving broken blade that kind of option. He's often leaned on domestically It's so interesting to me because you know Shoushuu to me is one of if not the best renecden players in the world and they just played silent to it and stomped him into the ground So it is interesting to me to see them banning it out so much against BB. I think there is an argument where Stomping into the ground because they could spend a lot of time towards that topside and maybe BLG are saying actually We don't want to spend a lot of time ganking top We're going to spend time around bot instead because that's what's human likes to go I think G2's got the right read in that they're banning it because they want to invest And so it's just reneged in is a really good answer into it They don't want to allow broken blade to get that counter pick And so I think it's very much preventative in the goal of getting the best that and G2 seems to have been on the read the jacks Ben we haven't seen a much from broken blade But last year it was one of his best performing champions and BLG showcasing that respect on the top side It feels like when might be what we're going towards you know from one of these top laners here I do think it can be quite strong and some of the kind of common answers are already blind. I think he totally could And I mean I feel like The LG is saying you're not gonna do that. I wonder if Ben would just blind it here I mean, I will say though broken blade is one of these top laners who will slam down crazy stuff, right? Like he might bring up the also the also was up We did see him play ignite yasso into the Gwen in the LEC if I recall correctly So that would be up and available I think Ben's gonna do it and I think Broken Blade is the kind of player who would slam the Yasuo as a response I'm just more shocked by this LeBlanc blind like LeBlanc Mundo as a combo I don't love like at all and also like I feel that Shen is a really good answer into LeBlanc because she's like very single target burst Which Shen just does a very good job of dealing with it gives you a decent amount of mobility to potentially threaten an Ezreal But just ignore it and get excited about the possibility Yasuo 70% win rate on this all-time. It's the second most played if I remember correctly. It is going to, it's a hard game. This is a good idea. You two knew what they were buying into in this game. It's not like they paid a ton of money early. They know what they're playing into here. And the question is, will we see anything really outlandish at the end? Because I was wondering, perhaps the Mundo gets flexed towards the top lane. It's the Gwen. It's not the easiest matchup. But that's going to be the Zahender. So it's probably not going to be Mundo in the jungle. I think one of them is not the worst matchups for me at all. So it less broke them legs, it's like, you know what I'm saying? Like you too, I mean, you can go cheer in the top here against the Glen, I think it might be alright. I mean, I'm a little bit surprised. I'm a little bit surprised to see this LeBlanc come through. I don't love it in this context. I think the BLGN answers. Believe in the cast magic. I mean, off your brain. I believe that's not analyzing things. I've got two PLG draft. I think it's a really good answer I like the silent threats that they have with the Gwen I think it's a really good call as well as they'll that you have or it's just like Gwen based on the pants feels like a great blinds like you have to get like you're looking at in the Carly counter pick or a potential Yasuo counter pick, right? Exactly. So I think it was a great Thing I think it blew out scales a hen too. So I don't even love the Zahen as an answer I mean Broke of Lays got to feel confident in the matchup at the very least otherwise he wouldn't pick it. But ultimately I do like the global pressure that BLG have. Based on how scourmage Heavy Game 1 was, if we have the same sort of scrapping that we do, BLG's just gonna have to rotate to claps first. Yeah, I agree. I will say though, if BLG get behind, they're gonna be pretty low on damage, I think. You know, to actually kill the frontline, you know, you have Ezreal, Ezreal's great, but you were looking at Ezreal Gallio as your mid lane and your bot laner against against a Mundo and it's a HEN. So if the HEN gets ahead, if Mundo is having a good game, as we've seen, Skumon have so many good games on this champion, Ezreal is one of the worst tank killers there is. So to me, it becomes so important that Ben has a good game because Ben needs to be someone who can actually threaten these frontliners who can threaten in the side lane. So I would really be thinking about attacking top lane if I'm shunned. And if you're Skumon, do you talk about how he really does like to go bot? But I feel like you need to make sure that bin can't just take over this game. He actually looking at Vade around the red buff here. Shen is going to spot the fact that Skumon starts this. Skumon will walk into the bush and spot the fact that Shen is there. Shen wound landing the cleaver. We're going to get a bit of damage. Cap's going in with a distortion to chunk out Knight, making sure that he can't move across. LeBrob is moving first from the bottom side as we see. Shen's having to flash away. He's just going to hurt Han's summer. He can't afford to lose these minions, so now Anus getting involved in the skirmish. Shen coming across. He'll out from Anus. Skumon is down to half HP. coming by into the land. Smythe comes out when he secures the red buff and now the Bob is going to have to flash the wall to get away with the Blast Cone. Great invade from BLG early on. Yeah, that got incredibly close though. I would love to see a replay because I think I saw one HP. I think he won Smythe's and should do it. Yeah, he did Smythe early because he knows that Shun with the empowered Q, if you let him set it up, is going to out Smythe you every time. So you have to just flip it. You have to just say, you know what? All right, feels like now and you just try to hope that you get it in that spot, but love the aggressive level ones here. BLG tried it with Knight last game didn't turn into anything this time. It does end up working out You want to keep Schumann low on economy if you're shunned and you're in level five at six minutes That's okay as long as who does level five six minutes to the problem making his way into middle lane caps Doesn't quite have the chains yet one minion off of level three now. He's got it But Knights getting that level up at the same time means he's gonna feel pretty safe I mean credit to honor feeling that play he really did save after shun burn his flash It looked pretty scary to him, but now Hans-Hansmer very isolated from the wave. 2 CS right now, the Rob is level 1 as he walks across. Does have the heal. Hans-Hansmer had to use the cleanse in the bottom lane to escape on and Viper earlier on. On looking for the Torq, we'll land it. Viper there on the chase, but earlier is the Rob with the Cosm of Fighting. Doesn't land a stun. Valkyrie cropping Hans-Hansmer. Viper trying to survive, but Hans will get a 1 for 1 so far. On does have the flash, Hans-Hansmer looking for the boss with bomb. Needs another auto. On flashes away, but Stumont is coming down. On should be able to get away from this. It's currently in that red buff bush. The question is, will Skumont sneak him out, lands the cleaver on, has the taunt, and Skumont flashes to make sure that Armkhan get across the wall. The BLG, I feel like, just kind of overstepped in that spot. You know, yes, they're zoning him off completely. I don't think they need to fully send it on this play. I think choosing LeBron was the mistake. Yes, he's level one, but a bar that level one does basically nothing. If they'd invested these resources into Han's summer, I think that this fight could have gone much more favorably for PLG. But instead, Han's after being denied so much farm, ends up getting a kill, gains access to the wave, and now the G2 bot lane is kind of right back into this. Yeah, they really are. I mean, the reason they go for LeBron is because he has no flash, right? So if you taunt into Shen at level 2 and Han splashes it, you're cooked, right? So I think that's what they're thinking about. I will say, on, it's a pretty lazy recall. He could just walk to the dragon pit, taunt over the wall, and then I think he doesn't die, And Skiumond doesn't get that kill and then you're pretty okay with everything that's happened. You go back, both AD carries have a kill, but you're up CS, not that bad. The fact that they donated that gold into Skiumond kind of ruins the whole level one, which was the point. You're trying to put Mundo down, you're trying to slow this guy, because you know you're going to struggle to kill him later. I think from his POV he doesn't know how close Skiumond is, right? And so he's trying his best to outmind game Skiumond and Skiumond just does his due diligence. Jett now looking to contest, this time though Skiumond gets the raptors. Caps getting very dangerously low. Yeah, Shun chasing in as well. Just emoting on him there, forcing him away. LeBrov's only just hit level 2 by the way. Spent a lot of time outside the lane, now underneath the tower. No sums for LeBrov. HanSummers' Khan's about to come off cooldown. He'll let us as well. Viper has a massive exp lead on Khan's as well. Just because of HanSummers, he's down to 300 HP. HanSummers' still very healthy. Shun is ready for the dive here. Hunts has cleanse, has flash, picks up the caretaker's talent. There's the H.S. Assault Valkyrian from Hunts. Solo shun, tanking the tower. Only tanks a couple of shots, the spear still connects. The Cod's been finding onto Hun, but now he can hold on for the damage. Tanks the tower perfectly. BLG though, shun gonna tank a couple of shots! And LeBron will get one in response. It's a little bit messy there at the end of this. Honestly, pretty well handled from BLG at the end of the day. You don't really care that the Bard gets a kill there, because you did kill off Huns. you're going to deny even more minions here. Skumondo doing what he can, taking away camps on the top side, continuing to farm. He's up to level five, has that slight XP advantage. I was just about to say what a beautiful dive it was, and unfortunately, should end up falling at the very end of it. But watch this tower aggro management. They don't have a step just yet. Shun isn't committing the stun because he knows he has the clans. They're just using time. They manage the aggro well, then they go for the commit underneath. It's on the initiative against the tower aggro, but then the minions die. So should end up getting down aggro when he has no flash available onto LeBrov at the very least to get something back. But the damage is done. Hans is half a level behind. He's 400 gold behind as well. It's so good for BLG because Hans getting ahead was the way that G2 were winning the last six games that they'd won in a row. Apart from the first one of this series, but against BFX, against Gen.G, it was all about Hans Summer getting these leads in lane, and then being able to carry the game alongside LeBrov and Skumon later on. Now BLG looking to punish him once again, caps jumping in on to Knight. Down to 200 HP, but Knight able to walk his way away. LeBrov and Schumann are trying to get across here. No, the Krugs are down, LeBrov. Everyone's waiting for a magical journey for LeBrov. They have more of a nightmare. Everybody knew himself up a little bit, so I'm trying to trade back in exhaust now. There's the cleansers, well, LeBrov down to 200 HP. Schumann tanking up everyone with a maximum dosage. He has that level 6, because he stole the way to topside, but a spear through his heart sends him back to the grave. In the mid lane, Caps was able to kill off Knight, as it's a 1 for 1 across the map. That looked like such a favourable fight for G2, as you highlighted because of the level 6 from Skimoog, but the damage from Shun was devastating as he ends up turning the fight BLG's way. Meanwhile, we need a replay of Myth, because I've seen the capsers doing some stuff, but my goodness, capsers locked in today. Well, I tell you, man, just ignore, don't analyse, just believe in the magic. I mean, what revenge for him? Considering what Knight did to him in the last series where he got two back-to-back solo kills, And now he gets a solo kill against Galio as well. Impressive stuff from Caps in the middle lane. It's also, this whole tournament has not been about Caps. That's why G2's success here has been so shocking to a degree. Caps has had a couple of good games, but often he's been the struggling part on his team. And now for him in the finals where he has been 0-6 the last two times he made it to be able to get here and managed to have such a good performance against Knight is so strong. On summer, down to 500 HP, forced away by Viper and on. I mean a couple things we never got to talk about the fact Viper is going to be playing exhaust and Also the fact that Knight is playing phase rush not aftershock right so you're gonna be a lot weaker in the 1v1 with the phase rush The phase rush isn't knowledge of the fact that it's mostly slows on the other side You know the moondo slows and what nice you can maybe engage disengage and Katz just goes between the towers takes him down He killed himself! Now he did! Now he did! It wasn't the cleanest but hey you're right he did make it work. Viper now becoming the big threat once again similar to what we saw in game 1. You can start to see in the topside as well, Bin starting to build a lead of his own. His heart is struggling in the 2v2. Yeah, can't take his talent there. He used to heal him up just a little bit. Viper on every opportunity just dashing forward. Has the tier already stacked up to 160 and the sheen complete. I mean, Na'Vi's kind of just getting down right now and that's what this one'd be wanting. He needs to be able to stabilize. Don't want caps to run away like you did last game. You need to try to stay as even as you can. Because I do think they have great compositional answers. You've got the taunt. You've got point and click CC from Shun. You've got a lot of different tools to punish caps if you over extend at all. But you can't let them get too fast. Dream deliverance is getting you from Jordan Blake. Just an exchange of the needlework and that ultimate out of BB. Yeah, one of the problems though in a lot of matchups against Gwen is, you know, Gwen is a shroud, right? It's how much value you can get from it. All of G2 coming in. Capturing in for the Justice Punch. Blocking Knight's escape. Knight doesn't have the flash, but he does have a hero's entrance. And there's not enough CC on the side of G2 to stop him from making that exit. Quick reactions there from Knight to get out of a three-man collapse. The problem with all these runs from the Brawlers, you are leaving Hanson isolated. And the more he's left alone, Viper is just taking advantage of this matchup. They've both got the tier, but much further sacked ahead for Viper. He's very accelerated. And you can just see how bot lane that lead continue to go a 30 CS difference now between the two 80 carries kind of feels like the profit just basically made the call that we're losing the 2v2 anyway so maybe it's better just roam and just try to have you just form it out in the 1v1 which is always a tough judgment to make but it does feel like he's saying you know it's better if I just get active on the map and we'll see when on gets level six that's another really big moment for this Shen because you can really start to pressure the map you know make a play topside then still all back far or you know alt top and move throw play there absolutely I think that these level six marks are why I keep my eyes on because LeBrog naturally can be very delayed he will get level five just now off this minion yeah one of the small benefits for LeBrog is you do get some xp out of the chimes as soon as looking for caps in the middle of the tour going down shield ball in for the stun distortion away from caps we'll get him to safety new one on the bottom side scumon with the look into something ongoing back in with the turn to get chased down by the cleavers past to burn the flash to get away. They can see in the coin base gold grind there. Broke a blade just going in, and a 2v1. Shen went up with the grand start, perhaps he just thought he couldn't get away. Yeah, I think his play there was, if I can get on top of Shen, maybe I can stack up my passive quickly enough so I can get the regeneration, and if I get that up, then there's a ward where I can outplay this, but immediately get stunned himself, and then the outplay comes through. Yeah, it does look a little bit silly, but it's only a couple seconds away from the Grimm deliverance as well. So maybe hoping that you can make a little magic happen there It's costly death though because that's no flash no TP and that it's been farming place that has been inching ahead now Getting that significant advantage and I talked about the importance of being in this comp You don't have great Mundo killers Glenn can definitely help to bridge that gap It's a journey and by scum of the block as they look at it He does still have to flash but found the hallowed mist you want still on the chase it with the cleaver not connecting Been able to dash and skip and slash his way to safety This is nice though. You force the flash, you force the ult, and you freeze the wave. Because that was a very stacked wave that they're going to be able to give to BB. Alright, so BB went in for the 1v1, and then Grand start full immediately, turned the tables. Yeah, and so he's thinking about how do I outplay this? He needs to try and build his passive up as much as possible. And so he's thinking, okay, I'll E in, into Q. I mean, I do think the flash was a mistake. I think there's a wall where he could have even flashed over the wall, maybe regrouped with caps as a possibility, but the decision he made ended up backfiring, and he ends up losing his flash. He definitely heard the montage music playing there. You know, I mean those are the first time you've seen D.B. on to Hen in his career, so obviously we'll have practised it a bunch, but sometimes in the heat of the moment, these decisions can get away from you slightly on. Having a battle with a dragon, he's okay for now. This is kind of more what I expected from early games between these two teams, which is BLG's lanes, Knights are notwithstanding getting ahead, right? You see Bin with a 500 gold lead, Viper with an 800 gold lead down towards their bottom side, BLG in totality, 1.2k ahead. In Game 1, I think both junglers were just matching their aggression, right? Constant cross maps, constant ganks, but Mundo doesn't have that same type of agency that a Pantheon does. And so, Shun is taking advantage of that. He is really looking to run the Rift at 3-1-0 scoreline. He's been involved in 75% of the team's kills, and he is just doing everything in his power to get that early lead for BRG, and he's thriving right now. It's going to be really interesting because, you know, when you think about some of the pieces of what G2 is drafted, like Mundo. So Mudo just really wants to play slow and scale, but LeBlanc kind of wants to accelerate the game and it does feel cool. That's toward another, the tower will be able to dash back. It feels like it's going to basically end up being a poke up, right? Like LeBlanc is, yes, you're in his ass, but really you're just playing for poke, Corky can play for poke. Bard can play, you know, really pretty low commitment, engage, and you can kind of play at that range. They're going to be looking potentially for a dive on top side to respond to this, but BB does sniff it out. In the back away, does have that Grim deliverance. No flash for him. Cap's on his way as well. Big wave underneath the tower, Broken Blade needs to try and clear this one out quickly. Shouldn't be looking for the shield vault. Looks like the LG now will go in. There's the pullback. Grim deliverance coming out as well as caps jumps across. Temper fate doesn't catch the LG. But G2 will be able to rebut the dive. Yeah, I mean that... the ult from the glove ends up taking you onto the tower, which I think the goal was to protect Broken Blade or maybe even set up for Cap's to arrive in time. But the fact that Broken Blade touches it was like, oh, I am. That could have gone very bad, but they end up making it work. They keep Broken Blade alive. Right now, a bit of danger. Justice functions onto skewn one. I don't think they have the damage to take him out. Looking to get him down low and maybe burn a flash, but might wisely just walks out of there. Even though that Bartolt, you know, didn't connect, they did get the flash off of Shen. So that is a key thing. You know, if Pantheon goes in, it's generally a one-way trip without that flash, and so they are able to get that. So nice cover for Broken Blade. Definitely do not want him falling further behind. Ben was such a problem for them last game and I really do not want to see that develop once again. I'm looking at the gold advantage for Viper and with the roll quest completed for Hans, obviously that gold gap is going to close just a little bit. I'm going to pop the ghost and I think he's got Trini Force now, which is such a big spike, I'm going to play the target. Immediately met by Shun and there's the Stage United to follow it up. BB doesn't have to flash no way out. BLG punishing top lane. It's a repeat of what they did in the GDG series. They really are attacking top lane non-stop, and we need to see G2, even if you don't want to gank up there, you've got to get vision, you've got to get coverage, because Broken Blade goes toward that pixel brush, and Shun is already there waiting, which is always just the worst feeling as a top laner. There's going to be a bit of a shift in the lanes now as caps come to collect this wave. Hans is going to move to mid, so the more damage isn't done there. Roll cross game completed means that everyone can open up a little bit more. LeBron's going to feel the freedom of roaming without feeling that he has to stay with Han Sama as much, the level of discrepancy between the two supports is evident but it's on demonstrating what we can expect I think from the Shen moving forward in this game. Yeah the ability just to be around with a fight as he goes into the taunt here, magical journey out from LeBrog, we'll get him to safety. It's a sinking feeling in my stomach a little bit as Viper is caught with a tempered fate, the deal coming out from on, Viper locked up for the moment, Skulon chases in bit, it's good Arcane shift away on, and with the dash as well. Skuman looks to steal away these raptors, broken play trading with Knight. Skuman should be able to take away the raptors themselves, shouldn't have in time though, and BB now has to walk away. Pops the ultimate as well. On by that very intelligently, you know, just play in the face of the drop to block the binding. The drop? Cosmic binding almost connects onto the dash away. Meanwhile, TP's coming in, as G2 being collapsed upon BLG, looking for the fight on Summer. Dumbight shun does have the flash won't burn it yet flashes away from the spear bin now snipping away LeBron the needle works Don't quite connect BB has a flash of his own. He might have to use it to get out another spear from shun behind the tower Been still trading in here BLG they're looking to make a pincer movement happen the spear connects two hounds Another kills now caps TPing in the BB and G2 can't really collapse themselves quickly enough Caps jumps across the wall looking for 5% there on the front line gashes on the break of late Oriane rush away, Viper flashes in, gets the kill, the sound for it. The dissimist coming in from Catz as he tries to get away, but he's locked on the wrong side of the wall and BLG. A death ball, just A moving, 2G2. Skiu and BB can't do anything to take down these low members of BLG. Such a phenomenal fight for BLG. They stay together as a clump, so aware of every single member of G2. The threat from Catz on the flank was shut down quickly by a great turn for On, and off the back of that G2 4 short, and now a massive gold lead for BLG in the early game. Yeah, that turn from On was so quick on the caps, the instant exhaust came through from Viper as well, and BLG really handled that well as LeBron tried to punish Knight. Knight doesn't have Flash, because with On he won't find the stun, so he'll try to get the pullback as well, Torn coming out from Knight as he looks to try and just delay his dead pair. We'll manage to do it by quite a long shot as he gets back to the safety of his tower. So we see Pn in a 1v3, turns his tension onto LeBron, knows that's the easiest target, so he gets his flash out first. But now Broken Blade has his disengage, but his damage is just so strong. The damage has already been done in the river on the Han Summer, they're just waiting for the poke to land. And so once they get that first pick, Chiju is starting to think, okay, maybe we can turn this around. But it gets trapped, they see the TP come through from Katz, they're ready, on is holding on, and then Shunji seizes an opportunity to go in alongside Viper, who catches the blowout. Exactly, Viper just insta-flash shift over the wall to try to catch the mid-pro. I'm going in for the Torb, tempo fake down onto him, Shun and Viper here to defend him for now. Shun ties onto the back right, hunts Summer, needs to get away from the here, then just manages to do it with the Valkyrie, with the mystic shots hitting. The spear goes through his spine, BLG, find another, as G2 thought they'd got picked. Nicely done there from BLG, and they want to keep fighting for more here, but probably it is coming. As the dreaded returns, Q-mom with a maximum dosage is going to heal himself up, and Knight trying to get the Justice Punch onto BB, but there's a shutdown onto on. Will the chase continue here for G2? A magical journey? Perhaps not one that we want to take a boarding pass for As across it comes Bin on the chase, Neil works out Getting the slope on the stew, Jenny returns across the wall From BD stew has to burn his flash to escape the clutches of Bin My BLG really wanted this red buff, I'm not gonna get it They're gonna walk away, and end up being one for one in kills behind Summer, I mean he's simply been shut down in this game Shun has run rampant in the early game the game and it's really put in in such a fantastic position. This man is the nightmare of the LEC and Europe as he has such an incredible record. 16 to 6 is the advantage that he has over Europe and its entirety and although this is against G2. Yeah, it is against G2 and I will technically say 16 and 7 now. It is technically 16 and 7. That's funny. Yeah, you're looking at that. But I mean right now he's in a position to carry this game as his Gwen is much just before her head and the average gold difference of being up about 500 gold at 14 that might have gotten better I think across these two games as he has Really been threatening and shun again despite the loss. I thought shun was incredible in last game He's incredible again in this game the BLG are just so good at punishing missing resources They come they cover for all and then they know Hans no summoners instant flash in their firm shun Income to Euro's entrance even with the back. It just doesn't matter. You can't create enough space They're so good at constantly taxing the resources here from teams and then knowing exactly who to target exactly how far they can go Absolutely, I mean they're continuing to punish you to who I just don't have damage in these skirmishes They need the LeBron present because of how far behind Hans is and especially the range from Ezreal It feels so easy for him to just follow everything up with those cues that just continue to hit The Viper has been truly a sniper in this game, finding those mystic shots constantly. A three and a half thousand gold weed for BLG. A drake, a piece, two items on Viper now with the mana moon and the trinity force. Two items as well for Shun and Bin has to be very close to his second as well. Went to the oblivion orb to try and do some of the healing coming out from BBM from Skumond. And that's the moment for BLG running the Rift. The control of everything they want. Next drake still four minutes away but there is a Baron if they want to try and force a fight and then take the banner and members advantage. Cap still is very strong though, he's on two completed items, is up over a thousand gold, has not really been able to accelerate that further, but does still have a lot of power here. The problem is there's locket, there's double exhaust in the next fight because it's spelled up over two. There's so many jewels that make it really really difficult for him to play the way you would want to play. And that is going to be the challenge for Cap. So if you can no longer build an advantage in the 1v1 against knight, how do you find an angle in in on to Viper to really be able to take him down without getting CC'd and exhausted. Also you have to play around vision control when you're on something like a long capability to strike from the shadows. So important, BRG doing a really good job of getting a couple of deep wards in here or there to make sure that Caps doesn't have an avenue really to approach the fight. I've been finally coming out from the block in a magical journey away from the taunt. For the moment, G2 is still holding onto this mid. Bin is overstepped. And towards the bottom lane. Shouldn't have ult to respond though. They could actually come in with the Globals. They go for the immediately dreaded return, bears on with the stand united and the cram starfall coming out from soon broken blade will disengage two big elements invested, the third with the needlework from bin. G2 will be happy enough with that exchange. Absolutely a win for G2 there, they've got a couple of globals out there looking for Viper. They need those skillshots to connect to really front Viper and the mobility he has on the Ezreal gives him a lot of safety but the reason why bin is playing this way is because because he knows the support that he does have. The Shen Ultimate plus the Panth Ultimate proving their worth in these skirmishes and BLG's ability to collapse is just so lethal. Did you get away with it this time? Broken Blade has to commit his flash, but it ends up being a trade of one flash for two, which I guess you could say is a win for Jutu. I want to say, lads, compositionally, we are getting towards mid-late game 22 minutes. We've seen a lot of games ending 25 to 30 throughout this tournament. With BLG having this lead, how do we feel Team Fight's are likely to go from here on out? How do we feel these two teams want to butt heads? I mean, I think it's all about how much poke can you land for G2. You know, can you get the LeBlanc poke in, the store forward, you know, get this chip in, and down the multiple embers, hit rockets, four haunts. Because I think it all in fight is going to be won pretty heavily by BLG at this point. I feel like that Viper is kind of untouchable. They don't really have the range to go up to him, as you said, it's like very reliant on caps. And then on top of that, tall connects. The win for the tall, let's follow up with a CC and a Crop, not giving it a chance to move. Shun goes unstoppable as G2 try to collapse onto Bimbo with Halor's return and the TP coming in from Nite. They just can't do it. BB does have a teleport of his own to try and escape this situation, but BLG do not want to give him that luxury. Broken Blade, there's no real way out for you. The question is who will be given over the kills? Justice Bunch coming down on looking for the taunts as well as BB taunted under the tower. Meanwhile, Skimoor trading with Shun in that red buff area. G2 unable to win out on that fight either. Yeah, I mean it looked like they had caught Shun in transition, but Viper is there to support and Viper and Shun are just way too strong to really deal with at this point of the game. So BLG definitely starting to run away with it. Gonna be able to get even more gold here onto Viper. You just look at these leads across the board. It's kind of caps versus the world, but compositionally, his champion is just gonna have such a tough time in this game. Caps actually dishes out some decent damage on to Ben. He's getting to that point in the game where he can be a threat, but the amount of control the agency the BLG have, this game feels so difficult for G2 to bounce back into. Largely because of how far behind Hansana has been put, this Corki really does not compare to the damage that Viper's able to execute, and that doesn't even bring into the conversation. It's just a sideline threat. The GPs, the Gallywalt, the ability of BLG simply to collapse feels so oppressive that G2 have no answers. And I just really loved how Shun has played this game right from level one. You're saying, you're playing Mundo, You want to just chill, farm, you want the game to be slow. We're going to create action. We're going to invade you at every turn. We're going to force you to respond. If you don't defend your ladders, I'm going to change Idler. You've got to be there to hover. You can't be forming these camps on repeat. And it's slowing down Schumann so much that Mundo can become this brick wall where he can't be hurt, but not in a game pace like this, where people on the other team are so accelerating, you're constantly being pulled in every direction. Yeah, we're doing such a good job there. playing through shun in the early game and then allowing their laners just to take those advantages and run with them. A 2K lead for Ben on that top side. He's finished the massive tooth now, Viper on his way to his third item as well. The GLG really, you have to feel they can just suffocate G2 off the map. Do exactly what they've been doing over the last few moments. If G2 over extends, sure, we'll find a pick, we'll find a kill, and that's exactly what On's looking to do on the broadcast. The magical journey away from the broadcast. We'll land the cosmic binding, caps jumping across with the chains, but we'll just distort back. DLG even though Bin is caught out a little bit going a little bit too greedily can just don't walk away How clean is that self mcale's on taught flash that was sick from the brav The timing on that mcale's to just be able to walk out and say thanks for the flash bud Yeah, so it looked like that the timing was a bit off because should arrived bot lane but Shen went to where Pantheon start Oh, I would get so big that I'd see him in the back row. Yeah, so the timing was a bit off. It seems like they wanted to try and make a play on the broken blade. He was late. Left on the tarman. Yeah, he didn't really know. The plane took off. He's just waiting to think about it. That's pretty much what happened. Enjoy the shield. Well, BLG, they have the dragon advantage, the gold advantage, and they'll likely start sending the sites on the bar. Not that they need to force it, but the threat, the pressure. Because again, the thing about globals is that, OK, we're going to push bot. We're gonna push bot. We're gonna push bot. You come and try and send someone. We can then immediately transition to the other side of the map, and the pressure the bin is able to generate, especially now that he's about to. There it is. The level 16, three points in his ultimate is now devastating on the sideline. We've been getting a change up by caps. Still about damage. Pretty substantial. LeBron caught out of the bite, shouldn't add on it with the heroes entrance. LeBron gets into the magical journey just in time. Shouldn't get in contact. Binding that Shikshin should still have the damage. Hits him with a spear, and G2 lose their support once again. It feels as though G2 just have no agency in the game. They don't really get to decide anything, it's all BLG and as much as the broadcast that can test vision, BLG is so quick at coming to collapse. Baron is a consideration, but it looks like they're not going to stall that one off. And this is kind of what I'm talking about. You know, it's easy to sit there and say, well, LeBov shouldn't be dying. Skiwan needs to walk with him to get vision. But if all Mundo is doing is walking around clearing words, you are useless. You need economy on this champion. You need to power farm. You've got to get to 16. Shun is just giving him no ability to do that. Shun and On is they don't need gold. They just need to fight. It's the classic play safe bro. He's like, I'm in my half of the rift buddy. I'm playing bot and he does his best to get out of there but there is just too much of a commitment. The galley ultimate is well doing so much work and again like these bloggers from BLG are netting such a huge advantage. Viper completes his third item and BLG continue to get stronger. G2 desperate as well. Magical journey in on taunts away then the tempered fate for the follow-up. Not getting anything out of it, BLG. Now if you have an opportunity to play around that ultimate being down and they're going to go down towards the bottom lane with the Grand Starfall. G8 on shern, no real escape for BB, got it returned, we'll get the CC. Goes in with Grim deliverance as well, but doesn't have that cultivation of war. Passive it fully built up, he'll try and stack it on Knight for now. The taunt's going to land, there is the resurrection and the TP coming in as well from Bin. I'm not sure his services were required here. Perhaps they just want to give him the kill as Knight did start his recall, broken blade taken down in the end by 3 at BLG. Looks a little bit weird. It looks like they were trying to kite out the passive stacks, they're not letting them revive, but they could've just insta-proc the passive with Shun. Maybe they were nervous about reinforcements that were coming in, had the wrong read, because even the TP seemed like way overkill. I didn't know this was about damage. Like, Dahlia was full magic resist right now, and she does not have a huge amount of threat onto the... The spearman, though. So this guy is like Cleaver GM? I mean, they keep beating Cleaver because they were worried about what Broke of Lake could do in our situation. Perhaps it was too much respect, but it doesn't matter because there is no cross-match play. 4G2, caps can do very little to stop the onslaught of being in a side lane. There was no Baron risk on the side as well, and BRG just continued to find pick after pick. They're third dragon in the mid-time. The gold lead extends to 6K as they steal away this river. Paps looking for the flank dies in, will land the chains onto on. Blipo with the arcane shift trying to keep caps to the fade as the bot caught out with the magical journey going out He'll land that, take the fake and then they'll dash away across from it, on in the middle of it gets away himself as caps has to get out of the fight, credit for time from Broken Blade to watch soon But Shun still has that Guardian Angel and G2, they're trying to pick apart this composition from BLG but they just don't have enough I mean, Double Exhaust came through and it makes the Blongs life so much harder when you lose all of your damage Like BLG feel that they are unkillable right now. You just G2 do not have the damage to take any of them out. I just love how Viper has played this. I mean, I think taking the exhaust was so intelligent. It's basically allowing him, when Caps goes in, he exhausts them and he shifts on his head because Caps can't win that 1v1 anymore. Caps has to distort back. You know, Viper did use both his summoner so that is something that you can look towards punishing. But, you know, as they go forward here, Viper is going to look to get aggressive onto Caps. You know, he's going over the wall. Ben has a really nice skill to dodge to avoid that ultimate and then there is that exhaust down onto him and he's just running in, even flashing, he thought that clone was tapped, so that is something definitely working for G2. I like it, I'm making it super hard for them. It's a famous quote from an ex G2 mid laner, he said, even if we lose let's make him sweat. And it seems like that's what G2 was trying to do in this game. It's one of those intangibles, right, where even if it looks like this game is over, the mental taxation has just made me harder. long series, right? If BLG do win this, they go on to want the ulti dropped. L'Brop fall in from Shen with on their flash taunt onto L'Brop, a magical Japanese. Well, that's not a cruise I ever want to take. Ten put Fade down on Shen, but L'Brop falls for the sixth time this game. On has had his number. Yeah, they've just been chasing him around the map here at L'Brop, doing his best to make it tough for him, but does end up getting taken down. And BLG just continuing to play the same style constantly hunting this bar as he goes for vision and they're likely to set up around this Baron, clear out some vision and they can look towards S.O.L.E. That is going to be a good one. Well, now jump on the skew. And Caps has to look into this bush, spin it out from Shen once again. Broken Blade is going to have to deal with Nidus. Caps dives forward, but BLG rebuts him immediately. I mean, look at the damage that was dealt to Caps there. I mean, when you lose like 30% of your HP, you're going to be forced away. You're going to be deterred. The Baron hasn't been started yet though. The LG is still respecting the comeback potential that G2's comp does still have. Like the lay of this game goes, I just don't see how it gets easier for G2. I feel like it only gets harder as Viper can leverage his range to chip away at your HP. The amount of protection that comes through against the single target damage that G2's comp largely has. It feels like that as G2 is saying that their goal in this game is to just make it as difficult as possible for the LG to close things out. I mean I absolutely agree with you. It doesn't get easier. But at the same time, I mean, Deathcap has done, you know, you have Magic Ben already in for Caps, and yeah, Viper did get his maw, but sometimes you just find that one moment, but if you can get a pick, if you can get a kill, you can determine the game. Don't been trying to trade back onto Caps, he dashes back, there's the stand united, and Shun's on his way as well. Caps doesn't have the flash, torn it up, we'll dash with the distortion, but there's only a tower waiting for him, dashes back, misses the chainsaw on, Suma tries to come across, but on we'll take the kill. BLG, beginning to kill off G2's only strong link. Exactly. The hope that is existing for G2 gets shut down as caps. It goes for a trade, but when you get a trade like that, you've committed all of your mobility. A nice punish, and again, these globals have just been so impactful for BLG here in this game. And I have to echo your sentiment from earlier as out, which is that Shun really has just run the Rift here in game 2. Shun hand it on together, I feel. That was an incredible job. on these pocket picks as well. His Anivia, his Shen, his Camille just has so much agency on the map. I mean, it gives you a lot of value in draft too because it's really frustrating. You can't just ban the meta. You can't just prepare in the same ways that you would against other teams because you always have to pick these teams in consideration. Yeah, he's only played the Anivia twice this year, but it's in the back of your mind. If you were considering a melee heavy comp, you're now like, well, can we go? Is this Anivia support going to screw our draft? There's a lot of value in pocket picks, Simply because of the weight of their Minidraft. ROG setting up around the bar in two minutes before the soul fought on Cloud. G2 have been on life support for a long time at this game as BLG looked to pull the plug. Magical journey out from the drop. Viper doing the damage but they are trying to jump onto him. He's able to dash away. Kat's caught in the hero's entrance and can't make an exit. Broken blade on the backline. We'll get the shutdown on to Viper. But now BLG in a full V2. Huntsman are trying to rejoin the Freak and Deligate coming out. There's a confirmation of Warp Passive as well, but they just can't get out of this CC chain. BLG, lock them up and throw away the key. Only Stuman and Hunts can survive, and BLG with four will turn their eyes towards the Baron. Caps was obliterated. Hunts was taken out of the fight. BLG play with perfection. Viper does end up losing his life, but it is a short cost to allow for Ben who is pretty much untouched throughout the entirety of it. They wipe G2 off the map, they set the sights on the Farad, and it's G2 fishing as they've often done in this game, and BLG going in with nothing but confidence. It's a deep heat from Ben coming in behind them. As Viper used the exhaust in off the Han, so Caps goes aggressive, but he just gets CC'd up and once Ben arrives, there's no shot. Han's just pushed immediately out of the fight, even though Brokeblade gets the shot down, gets a passive stacked. Unfortunately, the Grim Deliverance doesn't really heal him, because he's already into that revive and then look at the CC, it's just never ending. Multiple taunts, there's a knockup from the Galio, there's a stun from the Pantheon, the CC is just getting layered perfectly and Broken Blade doesn't get the press of button. As soon as you're in that meat grinder, as soon as you're there as a melee, unless you have Captain Hunts Summer able to actually unleash from the outside, you're just locked up. There's no way you're ever going to be able to do anything. As Vypher looks to arcane shift across the wall, the taunt onto Skiumund will land as well, didn't have his passive up as caps tries to jump on their backline but once again it's on sitting on Viper saying yes come in come in i'll take the tour and we'll go in with the justice bunch bring deliverance as they try and get the chase on caps goes in but the more shield alongside the heroes entrance enough to keep Viper alive and now Hans Summer has to bow three away as BLG continue to chase here comes the star ball and the star that was Hans Summer falls Off the wrist, G2 lose another in mid. And just the Avengers from BLD, they're flying in out of nowhere, left, right and center. More and more shields, more and more reinforcements. Has Viper there, shots a true shot at Barrage in the wrong way, and you think, hey, maybe he's going to be threatened. Then there's the team united. Then there's the hero's entrance. More and more shields getting piled in onto him. As you can see in the priceless moment of the game there for MasterCard, the sole has been This has been an action-packed game. They're constantly chasing G2 around the mid-rift. And now they have that much more power. I mean, you think about a champion like WEN, one of the best users of CloudSolder in the game. I mean, what an incredible performance for BLG. The way that they have navigated this fight off flawless is that they set the size of a SKUMA. The taunt into the ages is so full of movement speed. So they could get the shield but onto SKUMA, but SKUMA doesn't have that match. And so should it. On-haster get-o-ation will fall into his GA. Nice, silverly tanky invite for coming across. being on the brink as well as G2 now needs to run for the hills but SQ1 getting locked up for the moment BLG not able to get much more than Mundo's ultimate I must say bit of an over commitment there from BLG it was fortunate that they had numbers to collapse first SQ1 is there a Viper? Will they go for the Bodo? Oh there's the Sangrim deliverance all falling low Viper falls first and now BLG other ones on the retreat Cax trying to get under that back but Broke of Wraith going for more His first step is a handgain that he crawls on back He's been now sticking through, what a fight! Cat's falling as well as Ben! And then he goes back like a huge shutdown! G2, now with a 3-D1! As only the knight stands! But he bounds to break and play! Wait a minute! What just happened? With the goal made the BOG hard, it felt like that this composition was immovable. They couldn't get through it, but a single-tent with faith set off the fight for GD to take. It's his aggressive shift from Viper. He shifts forward, gets tagged by the very edge in front of the block, And they both send it. Yeah, Han's is behind, but he has an IE. He has four items. You will hurt. They burst down Viper, and BLT immediately realized, we gotta run. We can't take this fight. The health bars are low. It's really only been taking down Han's that stops us from being a total disaster because if Han lives, that is barren for sure. So that was a critical kill. It's already caught. Han was caught, isn't it? No, no, no. I said, oh, BLT have the task. But, uh, they're back alive. Oh, brother like corn out here good He will get the cultivation of war for the rest of G2 and nowhere near helping him VLG looks like they used And united grand star for combo and Betty you were wondering if he could win the answer Unfortunately for EU fans is no as BLG will take the kill. That's very close, but G2 Making them work for a here and that is what I'm talking about in games like this you get laid up into the game It only takes one pick. It only takes one mid step because the lethality lane in the game is so high on champions like this It's like yeah, Viper's at a 1k, but who cares Hans gets two autos with an IE and a full build You can kill off Viper, so you've got to be careful BLG still with a big edge here But G2 Showing they still got some claws in this game Yeah, the biggest concern for BLG is that this turns into an elder flip with the the control they have over the rift and the way that they've been consistently finding picks, I don't think they want to give that opportunity for G2, so they're going to go back to their winning ways, get vision control, fish for a pick themselves as they set their sights on this bot tier 2. Should just be able to set the tower down, the taunt on 2-2 more, maximum judges has to be used but the CCJ continues, 10-pits bait out as G2, look to try and turn the play, God, they're finding we'll get the start, but the chase for Shun goes in with a shield bolt, and at the moment without their jungler G2 can't really contest. BLG continue their advances. That is exactly the right play though. Find those picks. You know you have the numbers advantage because Brokenblade hasn't respawned. And so instead they catch Scumondale staying way too long to protect that bot tower. They're committed to breaking over this inhibitor and they're sending everything to fight for. It's a starfall once they're acclaimed in the chaos away. And they look to try and turn over VB in the midst of BLG. Willful first BLG now advancing. A small blip in the topside is not enough to fellow the kings of the LPL. They want to even out the series and camps try to dive in. Dash is away from the shield boat. Now it's on the broadband hunt. Hunts will flash and get a kill on on, but the LG have already opened up the Nexus. And although Viper will fall, G2's Nexus will follow him to the grave. What a run in the finals. In a tournament full of three overs, we are having an incredible start to the finals here. One to one. and both teams looking so strong. Lounge, what do you think? We say that these series are gonna be a bloodbath and so far it is delivering now. I have one question. BLG showed up in this game and worked like, how much global do you want? The answer is yes. Yeah, I know, I get, Glenn is the only one who doesn't, what kind of guys you know, right? Because they're all going two games in a sub lane. Yeah, so I mean, I talked about some of BLG's drafts previously. I love it when they play comps like this because it does give them such easy access to sidelines. I actually think they perform way, way better with stuff like this, where they have sideline pressure and 5v5 potential. So it was a really nice composition, and they played that well. Yeah, I mean, I think Ben definitely is a better split pusher than Broken Blade in a lot of cases. And the only problem is, when they caught Ben in the first game a bunch of times, they're like, guess what? We're going to alter it on top of him, but also Shun. Shun started everything, Shun with the Pantheon. He had one of these globals, but he also just had an insane game straight from level one. He wants to invade Mundo while Mundo is weak and he calls over on after the first attempt to bring the Shen to join the party. Yeah, and we've talked how important these early jungle invades have been. This set G2's bot lane so far behind and this was such great turret aggro juggling from them until the very end. It's gonna end up being a one for one. I don't know if they're gonna cut out. Yeah, Shen does die at the end there, He was just everywhere on this Pantheon, getting that bot lane ahead super early, and then ganking for Ben on the top side. Especially when you're playing Pantheon into Mundo, like we saw Skumon farm pretty effectively, got level 6 really early on, but the Pantheon was just having such an impact, and even when they actually clashed the Mundo with the ultimate before the Pantheon was available, just got executed by that damage. I mean, it was such a huge impact throughout the game from Shen. Got a champion E-Sherry, got a Shen E-Sherry. I think it's a bit of a buff here. It's a Shun skill, like this guy is so good, you know, everyone's talking about, oh yeah, Skuman is the best jungler in the world. Shun said, hold my beer! I don't think so, everybody calm down, and I do also want to give a really big shout out to Aon, because Aon had so much playmaking with this Shun, so many critical, really quick taunts from him, and of course his ultimates where he would go with Shun to make a lot of these plays. And we saw that in our HyperX, Reflex, replay, top lane, we see G2 engaging the fight, They have the position they have maybe everything they need but shown on the tension on on the tons. Sorry turns the back Oh, no, that's not the one never mind That's something else. Yeah, this one. We'll see how this one plays out Yeah, oh the TPS coming in from the other yeah, this is where okay. Yeah, that's where it starts It's not a little bit early, but we see them all Corral, G2 under this tower here in a comfortable position. They do pick up this kill onto Hansama, but they call the TP from Caps. Caps is strong at this point, but he's cautious about going in with the Pantheon stun available. He waits till they move forward and see the angle on that taunt flash so quick to respond from on and just completely shuts down the play from Caps. Yeah, really good quick plays from both Viper and on there. Viper, you know, starting out flashing, arcane shifting over to get the kill, and then Cap's trying to kill him and on getting on him, so very, very nice outplay from BLG. Yeah, and that's the players we expected to show up. We knew it was never going to be easy, guys. It's BLG after all. There'd be other sorts of damage, by the way. That's insane. I mean, that's what I'm talking about. It's such a different game compared to yesterday because we're G2 hot space to make their game in motion and put everything they wanted to get the advantage. Here BLG is not letting them breathe their relentless at every step of the game. I also appreciate that BLG did seem to recognize, okay, like G2 is still, even with this fed Gwen, starting to get to the point where teamfights are looking a little dicey. So I like their decision to just be like, okay, you know what, we're gonna rampage down bot lane. We're going to end this game before it can get super, super out of control. because some of those later team fights were starting to look a little bit rougher for BLG in terms of damage output yeah I mean really really big congratulations to Shun and to BLG for their victory here to put us to 1-1 Laura how are the fans feeling? I want to know who they trust because there's a lot of G2 fans here obviously I want to know who they trust to put this one back I see a cap. Cap's cold. Who do you trust to bring this from back who's gonna be the savior for Europe. Captain Hansema. Captain Hansema? Okay. Anyone else? I think that broken blade is come on with Durge. Okay so the whole team basically. Do we have BLG fans here though? Do we have BLG fans? Isn't it so nice to see Shun back on BLG? No because they stand on the right side of history. It's been a hectic series so far. A bloodbath and we expected no less. BLG comes back, evens up the series, let's see what happens next. The game is just a game, and the game just goes between the towers. It takes him down. Oh! And he's changed the place, he's changed the timing, he's touched the house, they just want to give him the kill. As much as this starting three, he's gone for a good blade, taking down in the end by three, BLG. Let go a little bit of weird in the end, looks like Vice-man's doing his damage, but they all try to jump onto him, they've attached a white axe, calling the heroes entrance and cuts, make it exit. BLG, lock them up and throw away the kill! I told you, I was done with basic browsers. You're setup wants opera GX and you're holding it back. Upgrade to the game browser. Download OperaGX. We could have asked for more, really. Yeah, I mean, 100%. After all of the 3-0s? I could ask for seven games for one game. You could ask for whatever you want. That's fair. No, you're right. We've been fighting for a best of seven winner from the upper bracket gets one game for a long time. I'm an enthusiast of that format for what it's for. I haven't pitched into two. So we're working it from both sides. Yeah, here's the thing. If G2 used this series three and two, I think we make it a best of seven. I would say five is really the most competitive game for me. It's the fairest. But let's talk about game three, because the truth is, I wasn't a fan of that draft from G2 in game two. And I think Shurn demonstrated his early game prowess to perfection. The Pantheon was so effective. The use of Globals was fantastic. And I was really impressed with how BLG navigated their way through that game. They were a little slow, I will admit. It felt like that they couldn't quite cascade the lead that they had into a convincing victory. It still took them like 40 minutes to close out that game. But I think a part of that is still them respecting G2 and the possibility of that LeBlanc, maybe one-shotting someone in a side line. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I think for both sides, both teams have a player that hasn't really gotten super involved yet. Broken Blade, I think, for G2 has been really struggling to kind of have a big impact, I think, thus far. And also on the other side, But I think Knight really has not had that impact that we expect from him. For me, BLG, you know, their big standout players are going to be the topside. It's going to be Shun and Ben. I think Shun has been incredible through both games, even in loss I thought he was amazing. Ben has been creating big leads with the help of Shun. And for G2 it has clearly been about Cap. So he has been the savior. Not the other players aren't playing great, but Cap's has been creating these big advantages for himself across both games. the only player that has been in an international final before on this G2 roster. So even though G2 have managed to sweep through the LCK over the last couple of days, you have to remember the weight that is on their shoulders, the expectation that is happening today, the nerves that must be coming in for some of them. With Caps being able to lead that charge, you do feel like the captain is there ready to rally the troops. The question is whether they can rally them to take 2-1 in this series So whether that loss, the end of a seven game winning streak here for G2 will be the straw that broke the Camels back and will lead to big BLG closing out this series. And we were talking about this, you know, off-camera, just kind of how many bin champions do you have to get through, right? And do G2 need to adjust their strategy around top lane to either focus more bands around it or just say, okay, you know what? Just slap broken blade on some tanks and, like, that's how we're going to deal with it. to deal with it. We're just going to have them on sign. We're just going to have them kind of like mitigate loss, not play to win the lane, because in the kind of champions that he's going for, when you're going York, when you're going to end, you have to get an advantage. You want to kind of scrap a little bit more heavily. I have to wonder if Renekton now becomes a high priority pick. I mean, you have a lot more experience in top lane than I do. Would you say that with these champions gone, there's like a big, scary champion that Renekton has to play at all? Well, to me, Sion, because I just think it's not a big, scary champion, but it becomes that over time, right? Like the snowball starts to build. A lot of the mid lane APs are lower DPS, and if you are lower DPS AP like with Ori or whatever, and you have a Sion top stacking armor, Sion becomes just a brick wall. Yeah, I very much agree with you. G2, for going their valor span here, allow them to get their first pick for their first time in the series that they've been in that first pick. BLG have chosen blue side, but will continue to be on the right side of the draft for now. It's in Jowl, I think it's a really valuable jungler as well. I think that both junglers put a heavy priority on the champion and with Jarvan Pantheon fight a lot of the classics now taken out of the pool I think both Xin and Wukong naturally raise in priority here for game three That's gonna be the trade. You give up the Varus, but you do have to give over the ash Seraphine as a result here They don't necessarily have to take the Seraphine right here They could go Xin because I don't think that G2 is gonna go for like Seraphine Varus It doesn't feel like it would be worthwhile, so I do really like this and you know It's not just about giving over the zindami It's about giving over zin with a great angle for it in chander folly because then becomes so much more problematic You can fly in on these champions with support of the seraphine and with the encore flying through you Having that who's there in the front line is so powerful. It's weird that I feel like skim on things you have probably there Yes So, I mean, last year... To me, Trundle is just the obvious answer to this, isn't it? Yeah, you're right, you're right, you're right. That makes way more sense on paper, but it depends on whether or not they want to lock in their support now, because they've decided to go for the Siles. So, as we were talking about that Siles safe blind, it feels like that there aren't many great answers into it right now, unless we get Bin's Vayne top back. Exactly, which has not looked good at all. If Geen looks useless on Vayne top, maybe it's time to reconsider the Vayne top. But this has been, Bin has been the best top laner at this tournament. He's actually just not a Vayne player. How do you expect he could be? You know? Oh, Karma made it through the draft. Oh, I mean, yeah, a champion that we're just so used to seeing banned. We didn't really consider that. How do you pick that? I mean, and I think it's a pretty good answer into this airfield. It is, yeah. So now we've got like double range, a lot of poke on the bot side of the Rift, a lot of peel, and G2 already starting to build a front to back style comp. I like that trundle that you mentioned. I think that that should be a heavy priority. And then G2 should think about maybe getting rid of the Atrox if they're worried about it from the side of Bin, or some of the other champions that he might even bring out. Maybe they're worried about Kassante, maybe even Rek'Sai is a possibility. Yeah, I mean Rek'Sai obviously could play to just get pushed, but again it's, you know, already got as much value as the sign. That's what's taking most of the matchups. If you want to go tank for tank, I think that's completely fine. The Binship, I would be thinking about a bit if I was worried about a counter matchup or a carry matchup, would be something like a Camille. I think the Camille can scale well into it. We've seen Bins get consistent advantages. And if I'm thinking Camille, diving on Varus, sounds pretty nice. You already have the Encore, you already have the Zin. So if you draft something aggressive for Knight, then you could look for aggressive Midlaner plus the Camille as a potential diving option. But you can also just go tank for tank and scale. You can play Ornn, you can play Rek'Sai, you can play, you can go Renekton, obviously. I really hate the matchup, because I feel like it's so hard to slam home that advantage. But pro players go to it all the time. So it could be just to Renekton and see how you do. We'll see if that's what VLG decides to do is to get into our second stage of Bands. Knocked and taken away by VLG. Akali removed by G2, don't want to give Nite something that he can really begin to pop off for him. Because as you said, hasn't really had a finals to remember so far. This guy's seven LPL titles, most decorated LPL mid laner of all time. He runs the region, hasn't shown up so far, have it for a stand for us. And I do think, because he is generally so consistent in these high pressure situations, if I'm a G2 fan, that's making me a little bit nervous. Because I think it is unlikely that Nite doesn't have any good games in the whole series, right? You know, Caps has been playing incredible to keep Knight down. If that doesn't happen, then that becomes problematic. You need other people then to be stepping up. You need BV to be able to create advantages. You need Skumon to have one of these massive games where he's putting Shun in the ground and really creating an edge because Caps can't do it alone the whole time. Wondering if this Ari will make it straight to the ban table because if you ban away the Ari, then does Mal suddenly increase in prior. The Syndra is going to be the target instead towards Knight. I mean, when we think about Knight as a player, Cintra and Arya kind of is two most famous picks throughout his career, but now that Arya is open, but again, like this is what I talked about the Mel, if you leave both of them available, doesn't Mel just naturally become the higher priority pick just because of how good she is? And I genuinely feel that few teams have found effective answers into her because that rebuttal just feels so effective at, well, most abilities in the game. It is quite strong, and I do think this gives them a lot of poke and a lot of zone control here. You have Seraphine, you have Mel, you have Ash, you have all these slows. You have this Zim that doesn't necessarily have to fully commit to a fight. You don't have to play full dive. You know, it's talking about the ability. You know, if he was to get something like that, a colleague to play alongside of Camille would play alongside something super aggressive. They're clearly considering a lot of different options here. They want to see what the full composition is going to be. And we're just waiting for the pick from Caps and Sku-Mond. Yeah, one of the things as well I like about the Mel is how little CC there really is on G2's lineup. You have the karma chains, you've got the chain of corruption, she has the ability to rebut the big impactful things. As we see the atrox locked in, likely to be a jungle atrox here for Skiumond with that scion going top. And I do like it because as you guys have rightly mentioned, it is one of the common answers to the scion, so it's both a takeaway and it is a good pick for themselves. That is the Anivia that locked it, four caps in the mid-lane, and they're matching up into the mouth from Camille. I got excited about the Anivia and the despair washed over. That's the other one. When we think about being in Champions League, he is so synonymous with Camille and Jax, our two of his most famous. If he logs in the jacks here, he's very much looking for, all right, I'm looking to be a scaling threat later on into the game. There's little that style can do to stop me. And while I might not have to kill threat in the one versus one, I have a mixed damage portfolio, which means I'm slightly harder to itemize against. And also, my goal is not to kill you, Si, it's to kill your carries. And so I'm looking for a scrap against Han's summer and Caps, and you're not gonna stop me reaching that point in the game. And the question to me is, you know, how successful will Ben be in getting the back line? Obviously, Anivia, no dash, Ferris, no dash. If they see you and you're trying to fight through the Anivia, it's very, very difficult. You can even interrupt the leaf strike, you know, with the wall from the Anivia, you can slow them down in that way. But if he gets on a flank, all of a sudden the battle lines can become very, very difficult. So I think it's gonna be a lot of battle. G2 being able to mark him on the flanks, not being able to get that backline. But the things that struggle to fight from the back, I ultimately like what both comps have done. I think that their strengths and weaknesses both sides, I think they both work somewhat in similar ways in terms of their both. For me the things that I think are I'm keeping my eyes on is Cap's on Anivia, this is the champion that earned the finals MVP domestically in contrast to the Jax outplay potential. These two are magical. Yeah, but I think that these two champions kind of give agency to stand out performers today and I think that having agency to make that outplay can be the difference in a series between these two teams. And in comparison last I think that Captain's champion is gonna have a lot more agency in this game compared to last game very difficult game to play the Blankin so much point-quick CC so much change CC you can control fights You don't necessarily have to make those solo outplays you can just win fights playing this in India so Question for you. Hang on, which I'll get to in a second is we have to shout out on for his 1335 international assists making the third all-time passing owner at international events. I I do think so. G2 have got to start paying more attention to these level 1s. That's three level 1s that BLG have gone for in a row. The last two games, it didn't have them pretty nice advantages. You have to respect it. People need to start making this adjustment. You can do level 1s. You just have to hard commit to it. It's very difficult to do stack defenses against a lot of these plays and they just use the ghost early to get that karma flash. We're seeing some variation in the jungle panthing as well as Scumon going to start on top side as we've come to expect But while we watch the jungle action You can also check out the active battle pass bundle pushing unlocked the prestige requiem So in a skin and chroma sort of interested make sure you go check out that stuff as we continue to check out the panthing of these junglers Because the only seems like that they're going to set their sights towards top side again Something you've talked a lot about a zeal is yesterday when we watched the JDG versus BROG matchup It was that jungle top that really drove home the victory against the JDG. Yeah, if you can punish Broken Blade on this Sion, you can get him so far behind, get Bin into a lead. We've already seen what Bin can do against G2, that Ambassador 1v3 outplay in mid a couple of days ago. As Broken Blade will just try and keep himself as healthy as possible for the possibility of an early gank. BLG will know exactly where Scumont has passed because they had a ward on his blue buff. And it actually looks like Shun might look for an invade with his pressure from bot side. Well, it makes a ton of sense as Shun, I mean he's looking for the invade here, he has full information with the pressure that he has in the bot lane. Skimon able to take the walls when it becomes lightning, Skimon dashes across the wall. He's able to stay there. And all of the wins, you know, this is like the top teams, you know, from LCS to LEC, how many wins they have against the LPL and the LCK over the last number of years. G2, pretty much has more than everyone else combined. You know, they have been the hope of the LEC, the hope of really any Western fan to be able to mix it up and take down these LPL and these LCK teams. And again, here at First Stand able to do that. The best results they've had in many, many, many years. LCK has just been running things in Lolliesports and until G2 showed up this time. This was actually really good outside of the bush because then it covers the entire entrance area where Skiumon could walk through. Skiumon was trying to hug the top side of that wall That has been spotted as he starts off this blue shun, waiting around the corner in the darkness. Q-mon does have smite, but so does shun, and shun doesn't, but he can force away the G2 jungler. That'll be Scuttlecrab on this topside as well for the BLG jungle. Yeah, and the main thing is just the push, right? You have two pushing solo lanes, so as soon as he's there, you have to rise. Plans away from the beat drop. That was going to be a stun after Flash as well. Viper went on, winning out the 2v2 once again. That is scary now for Hans. No flash, no cleanse, no heal on the Braavans, still missing his flash for a while. It does raise the possibility of action down on that bot side. You know, Shun could take a look there. I mean, this whole early game is mega dominant from BLG. They've got three pushing lanes. Shun's pathing has allowed him to slow skim on down very significantly. The rootthrump to cap's going to force the egg out early. early. At the end of the world, of course, he's going to resurrect with his full HP, but the pressure that is being exerted, being put down onto Scumon and onto all of these lanes, he's a BRG's already after a decent early lead. They really are. I mean, the bot lane is the one that concerns me most from the G2 side, because when I think about Amivia, I think about Sion. You just have to withstand, right? As long as you don't die, as long as you aren't getting completely blasted, you hit 6, you know, you're able to start having a lot of wave clear on the Amivia Post 6 for Sion, take a bad trade, all back to lane. It's not really the end of the world, which is one of the things that makes it so powerful. But these wards, man, they have spotted Skumond everywhere. BLG have done their two diligence there. So good at tracking where Skumond is, tracking where he can go, and making sure that there's just no opportunity for what has been the linchpin of G2's early game. Skumond finding ganks, finding ways in stealing away jungle camps. And because of that, G2 feels very neutralized through the early game in these last couple of matches. And now look at his camps. He's got crugs up and he's got walls up It's just like the worst situation for a jungler to be in because like there's no real optimal path where shun It just cleared back through his bot side. He can now go up towards his top side He's got in both crabs like there's such a huge early game advantage for shun and skew months largely just left wondering and fishing for Opportunities that don't materialize into anything I think it's gonna be really interesting come time for fights because obviously the ability to start the fights is is mostly on the side of BLG, right? They're the ones that have all of these engaged tools, as Medic reacts very much to that. Just tracking them perfectly. The Hawks shot, they ping the red buff, and then Hawks shot comes up, he spots out Skumond on the Krugs. Nobody's ever done that! That's the history of Delta! I don't think BLG has been unaware of Skumond where he is for the first five minutes of this game. They've perfectly tracked him. It's an incredible team effort to make sure that you just can't have any impact. They even pinged him out on stage. For Jack. Nowhere he can go though. What can you do, man? Just lock him in, I guess. He slides down from gas as he tries to trade in with the Frostpiper. Flash Frost doesn't connect on tonight there, so I'm still very happy in this lane. Leeds across the board for BLG. Let me look at that C or blue down towards the bottom side. Only luck wrong with the lead for G2 right now. I mean, things looking very good. At the start of this game for BLG, actually the dragon will be a big point of contention both these teams. It's a really important objective, especially when we are going more towards a scaling game, a family of ours. I mean, with Scumon on the Atrox, you do have that extra damage threat as you get later into the game, but something that I feel like we just see so consistently from LPL teams is just this like, I call them like quad damage threat compositions where even the general, like we've seen Zin do so much damage in fights at this tournament especially. And the Seraphine Healing that she's going to be able to provide is going to be something that G2 will struggle to navigate around as the support of combat ultimate. They're just farming gold on each other right now. I feel like these kind of compositions are so powerful when you have such good mechanics, right? You have such talented individual players. You're giving all of them agency to create action, to find angles, to really take over a game. And LPL I think is uniquely good at these comps with tons of carries where you can create kind of individual skirmishes on the side, you have a 1v1 over here, a 3v3 over there, you know, 2v2s and so on. And it's something that G2 will have to deal with, definitely want to be kind of death followed up, I think, as their comp, and really play in front to back. It's something G2 talked about in interviews, was it? They said, the difference is BLG will take the fight to you at every opportunity. They'll make a few more mistakes, but they are so willing just to take a skirmish. Whereas a team like GenG, a little bit more methodical, still incredibly good, of course. This has been flashes away. Hitbox is going to flash out of the counter strike. Someone has exchanged on the top side. I don't think that's a bad trade for broken play, though. He's going to catch this whole wave coming into him. It gives the possibility for a gank in the top side later on, because I'll always argue that if a scion, I mean, we have the luxury of casting bouts this late. So we know that a scion death really doesn't have that significant impact later on into the game. Where's BB's collected? My question. Yeah, that's the real question. No call. Is this like a call? I think it's sort of behind a potion, because he's an awful professional player. Did he ward? And of course he's a lot of behind in this matchup, that kind of where you expect the Sion to be. Meanwhile Hans, even though he lost his flash early, has been doing very well in the farm department. And they found this really nice window to secure that dragon and contest it as well. Mid got the push, bot got the push, and recalls came through from BLG, and Scumon saw that as an opportunity. Now he's on the top side of the rift though. I'm keeping my eyes on where Shun is as well, considering setting up the grubs and he's going to do just that. One of the things I did like about Bin trading flashes aggressively there is he was getting really low on mana, and sometimes when you get low on mana you can get stuck in these awkward lane states where the wave would be getting frozen against him. So part of what he's doing is trading flashes aggressively, just crash the wave and get a good reset. And I think he's so intelligent around playing these kind of timers on Jax because Jax can struggle. You don't have built-in sustain early on, you can run out of mana in these lanes. You have to know when to really trade your health and mana as a resource just to get a reset. Ben is just so smart about doing that, not allowing Broken Blade to get into an advantageous lane state. Well, so far this series, Ben of course has been spectacular, but now is the player with the keeping her eyes on, hoping to step up more as the series continues. And right now in this laning phase, he is oppressing the Anivia. Do you expect that with the ratchet, the amount of poke that she has, or is it going to be used by Hans? He should be saved there, getting a little bit low. But yeah, I mean the mid lane going very favorably for Knight in here in Game 3. just hit six though so now this is what Hans is going to have to watch out for because now you have no cleanse and the on-court just got leveled so need to really watch out for that in these next couple minutes while he doesn't have the time to see Hans backing away. They're not even trying to survive under the tower with the long range that Varus provides and said saying okay which shouldn't especially in the area I'm just going to back away no reason to risk trying to out like flash out trying to get a chain of corruption down they'll give up a huge wave though underneath the tower and BOG extend their gold lead to about a thousand overall. LeBov coming back out on the map, so there's about a third of his XP before he gets to that level 6. With no real neutrals available to either team, Crystal Eyes down, Fire Frost used late, so the Roboto doesn't get it as they look for the damage here on tonight. And then Flamme gonna come out as well, but Knight still at 150 HP, looking through the solo snare, doesn't quite land as the OJ able to buff up their mid laner and get him the push out. Some damage on tonight, the threat of a kill there was very real, but ultimately it's just a heal that was expended by LeBrol. He's very close to level 6. I imagine he'll want to stick around mid lane to secure that final level. I just feel like Merc treads are kind of a must for G2 this game. You're looking at how much CC is there, and it is one of these comps where if one bit of CC hits, all of a sudden, you know, there's the snare from Mel. There's the root from Seraphine. There's the Enchanted Crystal Arrow. There's the Encore. There's the Counter Strike. You know, it just kind of never ends. So to nasty gonna be pretty important. We'd love to see him a Kale's early for LeBron as well The health advantage that you two have with the numbers back just the hell's gonna keep you back in a bit of a scratch The smite goes over to shimna skewman pops the road ended to try and get out of this crescent guard When the complaining doesn't land nor does the solar snap and skewman had nowhere to go first blood BLG I mean he thinks that because now has gone back to base caps has the push and broken plate has more HP then this is a favorable play for him, but Cap said you can have no mana. There was nothing he could contribute to that skirmish, which Mendeus Shun says, hey, I mean, this is a free win for me. He takes first blind. Hang on on the bot side. Viper ghosting in, looking for the damage up to LeBron. He uses the inner flame well to keep Viper at faith, because of that G2 will be able to walk away. Yeah, and they're trying to trade aggressively with the ghost, knowing that the arrow is back up yet, and there's no cleanse. There's no cleanse for Han. So if they can get Han's low at all, they can look for a potential arrow into Angkor, Look for that aggressive play but G2 paying respect to that is playing pretty defensively Still know that with an early blunder could cost G2 a lot when we think about I mean so much of the conversation So far this toner for G2 has been how excellent skin one this been Flashing in with the inner plan trying to force on flash out caps flashes away Not put into the egg glacial storm for a little bit of a slow in the end on did have to flash and heal in the bottom I feel like that was a bit of a bluff from LeBrov, because I mean, Skiumont is just hitting the scuttle, has no ult, no flash. I don't think he really could have got down there, but On does respond with the two Summoners, so ends up going pretty well there for LeBrov. Radioboli, just short of clicking on the caps on top of OnSoul, used on the bin. Counter-Strike coming out as well. Broke away, walks away from it, and bin has to flash first, the risk of BB flashing in with the auto. Bin escaping the clutches of the scion, but BB winning out on the 1v1. I mean, great play. I was in all the shots. I wasn't expecting this match. It's not off the westy bin lose against Sheep 2 anyway. I need to, again, we're in the messy of League of Legends is in our region. We have, of course, an excellent side of players there. We shouldn't have looking for a fight. G and now it's 3k googly this team just punishes missing resources so well LeBrov just did this flash trade off Bonsai Instantly they collapse on him even with the mcales. It's just doesn't matter if the CC chain will not end I just think shouldn't playing on another level this series this guy to me has been the jungler of the tournament and he is Just so confidently moving forward. There's the encore. There's the roof. There's the arrow. There's the solar stair It just never ends. I mean, I'm shocked that Gichi's trying to force the skirmish, especially given the state of the bot lane. Varus was so far away, and I mean, he offers so little in these early skirmishes. Let's hang on, sorry. You need to play a swelter game. Broken Blade trying to keep the mental strong, reminding the team to just keep focusing. But this gold deficit is huge. It's the biggest one in the series so far. And as we check out the coin-based gold grind, you can see a bit of that gold advantage coming through from the top side, but really Shun and Viper, where a lot of this lead is sitting right now. Shun's such a strong early game as again they find LeBrov. A singular ward, in that bush near the walls. He's going to dodge away from the wind, becomes blinding, but LeBrov just... He doesn't get to control any of this jungle. Skimon is on the top side, so LeBrov, a little greedy walking in by himself. But he's trying to get down to Han's Summer, because Han's Summer is now between the towers in the bottom lane, with no recourse to actually step up to his turret. Exactly, and LeBrov is revealed there by Knight in mid lane again, so haunts can't do anything. You're just going to lose the entire wave. You're going to lose more plates. And Viper has this big advantage now. Things starting to get tough for G2. You know, if you can withstand the early storm, sure you can scale, but they're starting to really convert these advantages and get them bigger and bigger leads. And now they're going to have to move the sign down to the bot side because they know you haunts must run. You cannot just be sitting there doing nothing. So they're going to send sign down to bot side. They're going to You're going to move Fawn's mid and Katz is going to have to play in the side lane, which can work, but again, and if you're very gankable, you are a very low move speed, you really can block people coming straight at you, but if they get behind you, it can be tough. You know, I think back to the draft and how G2 prioritized this virus and banning the Nautilus themselves. Remember that when they played against the Ash Seraphine before, they drafted, oh, ulti doesn't quite connect, but they drafted the Miss Fortune plus Nautilus as an answer. They're saying we can match in the 2v2 but they've fallen short there. Skiwan hasn't been able to successfully play with his pressure. Instead, Shen has been the one continuously punishing. And now G2 are just trying to fish. As the first tower of the game goes to wave BLG, they extend the goal with the 4.3k. And I mean, BLG, it feels like that this game is over before it's even really begun. I mean, the lane economy snapshot, they're lying to you because it didn't just took the first tower right after that. So he is now 1.2k ahead. The topside again, massive advantages for this game. It's the whole map, and it is G2 really falling out of it. This does feel like one of these games, and you get this far down this early. You kind of get one good shot, right? You have to choose your moment. You have to say, all right, when we hit two, they won't have three items yet, and we're just going to try to force a fight, right? But the problem becomes, at that moment, field G can just play through side lanes, because Ben is on the jacks. They don't need to take the fight. I put Ghosting in cleanse, and Mikae also, just the Mikae was out there on Han's summit. Didn't have to use the cleanse himself, in the area to protect him. Well, just a bit of training. We've seen this a couple of times now between the tier 80 carries, but it is fight with the Holt onto that very healthy lead. Cap's starting to trade back a little bit more favorably against them out now that he's completed his Rot of Ages, something we often see from Cap's as he foregoes the tier built and instead just chooses to go for the single mana item then into AP. It gives Enivia that earlier spike so that you're not waiting as long before she becomes relevant, which in the current pace of the game in the meta I think makes a lot of sense. especially in a game like this. If you're going to tier and you're waiting for the roll, you're waiting for the stairs, it's gonna be so late. You need earlier damage, because as I said, you are bleeding out. You're probably only gonna get that one big teamfight. And if you win that fight, the game goes on, you really have a good chance there later on. But luckily for G2, one thing working for them, they took one early dragon. So at least you're not gonna be drawn into a soul fight super early on in this game. G2 looking to see if they can catch up in this bottom lane, but the wave not big enough really, even with the decimating smash coming out. Ben still has his flash and the Grand Masters might have enough tools to escape the clutches of G2, because Scumon is down in the bottom lane. POG will open up the Rift Herald in mid. It's on that's going to ride it into the tower. They get it down to about half. Jennifer goes wide in a flamethrower and Scumon comes in with the World Ender. They're trying to kill off Viper. Katz has a blank position here as well. The on-call comes down. Everyone dodges away from it. an absolute slaughter in favor of BLG as they punish the aggression from G2. Viper doesn't even lose his life, he's able to but even with the cleanse of the Flash, you can't cleanse bin! He takes one! BLG just absolutely sweep away G2! You get one shot and you're damn well missed! An absolute slaughter in favor of BLG as they punish the aggression from G2. Viper doesn't even lose his life. He's able to flash over the wall to get to safety. And what G2 thought was an opportunity just resulted in their demise. This impressed me so much how Viper plays this. I thought he was absolutely screwed in this position, but he holds his flash for so long and it felt like G2 were kind of waiting for him to commit to it before they go in. The Uncrow finds a lot of time, he flashes over the wall, even with that inhibitor wall coming in behind him. He can rejoin the fight. Bin arrives and Hans has no chance at all. They proc the egg, he gets into the back line, Viper survives. We said about if you really get one shot and this one did not land what so ever BLG running away With this third game talked about in draft you can't count on night being held down in every single game And this time night has a big advantage for himself as well And it's the whole map that are just dominating for BLG. It's just what BLG do so well Individual brilliance topped off with pretty solid team fighting and team coordination a seven and a half thousand They're gonna secure their second dragon of the game and you look across all the key carries 1.6, 1.8, 1.2, 2.3k ahead right now G2, if they managed to come back from this it would be something pretty darn miraculous I'm sure I'm not gonna quite connect onto Hunts, I'm not gonna absolutely BLG Oh cool, onto Skuemon on the thingy, we can take this trade, Chen of Cretan is gonna land Viper on the chase Scumon forced out of his own jungle with the prop trades with Knight. Cat's trying to come across. There's TP in by G2 with a bottle down. Knight has to flash into the ban pit. He's locked in there, but they've hard to really follow up too much. Even with the decimating flash in the end, Cat will manage to secure the kill. Really nice wall there. And they take advantage of the fact that Pin used his TP in the last fight. So Pin is still pushing bot. G2 kind of need to force more. You got that one kill, but you can't just give him a full tower bot to win and only get that. They're going to force the bat. Yeah, they have them at this advantage. No knight available. I mean, this is their Hail Mary play. He has no TP. He's running. He's lagging it. He wants to be here for the fight. Because if he's there, you have to field it. BLG can win it. No on-call, no enchanting crystal arrow. No flashes either from Viper or from Finn. Shouldn't try to get in to steal this away. LeBrog on that front line. Crescent goes down. Good double knock. Good double CC. From on, Broken Lake trying to dive up to the back. has been stopped, but on his way down. Jayden Brooks is going to land on Jacinus. Two more goes in for a bit more of a chase. Bin has finally arrived, but they've done it. The Flash crossed. Maybe going to bury him under an ice. He grabbed G2 by the never. The Golden Equips, they could rise up on Summer. The G2 have somehow found two fights to get back in the game. I mean, it's the best case scenario for G2, because while they didn't like to kill the Bat room, they get shot down there. They get killed. They slow BLG down. And it was a 7.5 gold, K-Gold lead that's now been shrunk to 4K. And when you need something special, when you need a little magic, believe in Cavs as he lands a perfect wall, they kill Knight over the wall, and they know, okay, no TP up in, he's pushing bot, you can't just go for that. So even if it's a 1% chance, if that's our best chance, we will send it, shouldn't go as in early, but LeBron lives for so long. And then the CC comes through, Viper is dancing around in this fight playing incredibly well, but the amount of CC they have means they knock down It's not until night arrives and land this solar snare, they're on the haunts. That bit of damage and the ultimate coming through, allowing them to kill off haunts. Otherwise it could have been so much worse for BLG. But G2, again, they never go down without a fight and that's the only thing I've always admired about this team and admired about Cap's rosters. They're going to look for the best chance, even if it's a slim one. And now they're giving it to Cap. He's about to take over. Okay, I'm flabbering. He brought back to life to immediately die. Glacian stormed enough of a slow. Viper coming in from the side, broken blade trying to retreat to the safety of his tower and BOG will call off the dogs. They won't look for more. A semblance of hope is given to G2 and BOG could be taken away. Broken blade, they're still fishing for more. He wants to get back down, but he won't find it. Ask the Flash across the wall to escape BOG, who will be able to take this tier 2 in mid. Actually, with the TP out from camps, it looks like BOG who decides discretion is the better form of Valor. Cap's trying to chase him, the bolly enough to slow him down. Cap's just barely surviving to been there. Didn't have enough damage. The egg is actually very tanky. Couldn't quite knock him down before the revived team threw him. Broke a blade in a good job, peeling for him, keeping him as safe as he possibly could here. This is another fight, setting out LeBron, getting caught out. Has been a pattern in this series. Oh, we've got to go back to live as the action kicks off. What's wrong? Nothing's slow enough. Doesn't go out. Just getting on the flank TP coming in from BW as well. G2 need to mark bin on summer flashes away from the counter strike, BW on the front line. Stopwatch from bin, double control ward, just to spot him out, and he dives onto the back line again. The counter strike, the flash forward from Viper. Bin is unstoppable, and Viper's here to sink in his fangs. BOG will wipe away G2. For a moment it looked like the EU representatives could find a way back in, but BOG just slammed the door in their face. And Bingestown's such a good angle there. He had the Seekers, he flies into the back line. Sure, Hans can flash the first counter strike, but that's what the Seekers is for. Buys the time to the cooldowns to come back up. He can do nothing about the second. Hans is food for the Jax, BLG grabbed the Baron and have a stranglehold in this game. And a flash for Viper as well, amidst of that fight. He just says, okay, I'm tired of being zoned away by this Sile. I actually don't care about him at all. I wanna get into the thick of the action and he did just that. BLG reclaim the gold lead that they once had, but themselves in the powerful position that they had earlier on in this game, and they will start to stifle that hope that G2 had built up here in game three. A monstrous lead now for BLG. 7.7 thousand gold there, advantage. Three items on Viper, almost three per night. He's just short of the rabbit-ons, and now with a drake available, the Bob has to flash away from that in China, Crystal Arrow, if he'd been caught. Once again, we would have seen him going down. PLG just forcing G2 entirely onto the back foot. Yeah, and this time it's Broken Blade pushing top. He has no TP, so I don't think G2 are really looking to contest this. Of course, he is going to base and could join potentially with that ult, but I think with LeBron losing flash, there's just no way in. So you just give up that third dragon, hope that you can somehow contest at that next one. Deny the soul. But PLG aren't going to give you time because they have the Baron buff. They're going to push through multiple lanes. They're going in on top of Onslaught, now BLG, all able to dodge it. Crystal Line, now Crystal Line's coming down with the wall as well. The on-call on BB, he might be tanky, but he just can't survive the on-slaught that is BLG. G2, desperation, ringing through them, go for the engage, can't find it. BLG now with a man advantage, can look to push in and go to match point. I mean, BLG game two played the game a little bit slower, but here in game three, they're not wasting any time at all. With the Baron Bust, they are melting these towers, G2 only have 4 members left alive and they just don't have the waveclaim needed to stop this siege from BLG and inhibitor will fall, the tower protected mid for how much longer with this siege coming through for BLG Aaron, not onto Stu, dashes away afterwards, so we're just short as well the beat drop, not quite connecting onto LeFrog, good Flash Flash on Knightbitt and Mikhail's away on on form finding the support for his team Flash force again is going to land onto Shun, but it's caps on the front foot and the rest of the team not able to really catch up. BOG walk away from it after taking the bot lane inhibitor and garnering a 10,000 gold lead. All G2 can do is try to get out of here, take us there at all, playing some vision. You need to keep looking for these very difficult plays. BLG feel like they are one fight away from match point here unless G2 can pull off a miracle. But when the Luxury items start coming through it's really really tough and he's been on that Seekers forever has not based He's gonna have full zone. He's pretty much guaranteed when he bases I would be worried that Shun is gonna have a full GA when he bases the death cap is done Therefore night a last whisper is just perched up for Viper. They have so many tools now and Not quite having that GA so at least that's something working for G2 But BLG just playing it out beautifully here and in full control of this game How many times have they been this close? How many times have they got that second place? So we see that Zonya has completed for Bin. You look back to Worlds 24, MSI 24, Worlds 23, they are knocked out in the semifinals. A lot of decorated players on this line of Bin, Knight, Viper. All of them have claimed titles in the past, but as an organisation, as a roster together, they have never claimed that final prize as soon. Looking to take them one game away. game away. Ara was, Mikhail was still away. G2 now trying to fight over this mid-try was being keeps broken blade, honest at least as he goes down to 2-3 HP. Only one can of minion in the mid-wave is going to get cleared out. Katz flashing for the crystallize, the on-call only onto the Anivia, but that might just be enough. And Katz looked for the play. Gretchen got a coming out. Stopwatch as well. Bin on the back line in Han's summer. He just doesn't get a chance to do anything. Bin is taking names and putting them right in the trash as he wipes away the back line of G2 and BLG are trying to etch their name on the first stand trophy. One more game for BLG, one more game for the LPL, two-one to the LPL first seat. Sub-30 minute victory as BLG will wipe out the confidence of G2, a convincing victory from start to finish. Let's hear what the desk has to say. It's a bit quiet in here, honestly, yeah, the atmosphere has changed quite a bit. It has been the LPL's game for two games in a row now, and I always forget how good Vin is on Jax and Menace. He is so good at playing with these margarines. I remember initially when he burst on the scene, people were looking at his Camille and Jax and what makes them so different. because he can be so psychotic and diving on to key priority targets in the back line. I remember one of the first interviews I had with him. I asked him like it was a like a TP-less Camille and I was asking him like what is it that makes your team believe in you? He's like I just believe in my own hands. Why wouldn't he believe in me, right? Exactly. And why wouldn't they indeed? Because he wins games and he wins team fights. It's so beautiful to watch. We do of course have to start out with some jungle praise as your boy should now I will all know prefaces. It is really fun to play jungle when you have three winning lanes drafted for you. But also that he's able to use it so effectively should he uses his pushing lanes. He goes for invades and they have the Hawks out as well for extra vision and then scumon thinks that he can try to get something back and you know should knows that you can just jump on them and kill him out here caps has zero mana on the anivia and just had night teleport back, so big punish there and Shun once again showing up huge. And especially with how good Skibund is being in G2's run in this tournament, the fact that Shun is just keeping him in check is just really making these games so much easier. Aaron Bull mentioned Viper, who Ash provides so much vision. I know you've talked so much about this, Kobi, how she's a jungler's worst nightmare. His arrow is really good, but also just his early vision with Hawkshot on top of the warding that they had allowing Shun to go for some of these more aggressive plays was really a team effort from BLG. You voted for Shun. Sorry, you wanted to go for something. Yeah, I think it was a split vote, so I want to know what the fun thing here actually, because you had that. Yeah, I'm curious. Yeah, how Shun. I voted for Bin in the end. Yeah, I think I would. I was Shun at the beginning of it, but I voted for Bin at the end. Okay, yeah. How do you know that? Bin's taking me for something. I think a lot of team fights are very much about Ben, but the early game, Sean, just defined the pace of the game. Yeah, when you're watching these fights and he's the Jax, you know, with the Zonias jumping in the backline, and it was like, where is Hans-Sama? Oh, he's under-Ben. Stopping him into the ground again, but I have to. I want to follow up with the beginning of the tournament, I mean, because we were saying that BLG are an amazing team, but team fighting is not quite their strong suit here. I feel like they transform completely throughout first turn, and when you look at the fights, They actually they make you forget about some elements of the team because here G2 is gonna focus on the team completely Forgetting about the fact that bin can arrive in the back line and this is where things go wrong here Yeah, I actually thought viper was dead to rights here He manages to survive and the big thing here is yeah bin TPing in this was kind of the back breaking fight that not only set him as an uncontestable force in these side lanes but also really push the pace of the game for BLG. I think what's really cool in watching BLG teamfight is the split focus they have where when someone's chasing down a target they'll just leave targets behind with a comfort and the rest of team can clean up. They're so smooth. A transition in that way and yeah everyone doing a lot of damage on the team. And again I want to come back to the draft too because I think the draft from BLG was so so good. Three pushing lanes for them to work with. with good jungle matchup and Hawks shot on top of it. And man, did they make the most of the early game and just snowballed us out of control. We saw a lot of the times, Schumann kinda walking around with not a lot to do, you know, passing through mid, losing a lot of time early end, BLG performing it all over the map. I think a big factor in that was the mid lane because Knight has been kinda absent early in the series. Game one, Caps completely gapped him. Game two, you're struggling lane, but a bit more away, can you can see from this comparison, how much more of an impact he had in this game three. And especially considering we saw Scumondre going mid constantly, he fell behind in the jungle matchup because he was trying to shut Knight down and gank him. And I think Knight has finally woken up in the series. Yeah, with the Mel range and with a little bit less of the extra pressure coming in like first couple of games. Man, G2 is setting everybody there. What are we looking at here? Because much point to BLG. It's not looking great for G2. It's okay. You're so hyped up earlier. I still have hope, but what do we want to see here because lane prior I think is something that I would like to see in draft again It's been about bot lane here at first and so that's what I'm expecting But what do you guys want to see? I mean I feel like a big question that you're gonna have to answer still is gonna be been we came Into the series we can have bad been suddenly The game That would be one. Yeah, and if I'm g2. I'm actually looking at how much Schumann has been shut down by Schoen, right? Because that was a big match-up. I was looking for going into this and Schoen has had an insane like even the game they lost. I thought he performed super well Yeah, so Meno's Rift belongs to the LPL and to BLG so far they take us to match point Let's see if G2 can come back and take us to game 5C so far Into the solar snare the karma finds her just as his last He has human follow suits been on the back right hunts summer Has to exorcise him such a situation that even with the plans of a flash You can't turn then you get one shot and you're damn well missed I Broke it well with Yagi-Song, doing so much work, and Gen.G, they are just going to ace them! Gen.G, the EWGT winners! It's a world shaped by you, the fans. And our mission is to elevate that world by building technology that creates moments that last forever. That's why we're joining forces with League of Legends eSports to transform how fans experience live events on the global stage. This is my Alice Calamela, she gon' need a pass, pressin' you just so wrong, but you're not the man that I know. No offense to see I'm kiddin', fresh back out, won't rest in line. No sense on your mind, that's the feeling that I want when I party, yeah, but I want how we treat it. No offense to my mind, I don't know the city like that, fresh back out, won't rest in line. No sense on your mind, that's the feeling that I want when I party, yeah, but I want how we treat it. Welcome back to first stand 2026 where we're here for what could be the final game of the entire tournament With BLG one game away from taking home that trophy following the footsteps of HLE last year who defeated KC 3 1 Might have another one to go though. We'll see what G2 have in the bag They haven't surprised us a number of times here at first stand, but of course BLG, you know is At first and really getting the better of G2 it is now five and one so far between the two teams here at first and BLG, you know really looking strong and particularly to me shun has just been unbelievable and With night having a good game last game that is kind of the fear now for G2 is if night is really playing well We saw how that looks for G2 in the previous series So we're looking for people from G2 to step up and it's got to be someone to really make a difference You can't have another game like last one where every lane is kind of just slowly losing and skew martyrs getting just tracked by shown I think game one G2 really fought back against BLG Browsing two and three it felt like that they just haven't had the tools to go toe-to-toe with BLG near the game especially the bot side of the map it feels like LeBrov has been getting caught a lot And Han Summer hasn't had the same agency or control over his landing face that he's had in the previous series against the Korean representatives So I think that a little bit more priority needs to go towards that bottoms out of the rift and Coming into it things like Niko immediately spring to mind It's like a really powerful bot side champion whether they need to ban it away and make it more about engaged supports Or whether they need to pick it so they can get themselves some agency in the 2v2 I think it's a really interesting take because I kind of feel like they've been drafting for prior They've just haven't it hasn't been working out. I mean karma Varus You had you know, you had barred like to me these are champions that are for winning 2v2 It just hasn't been working out and I feel like BLG has done such a good job of punishing the downside of range supports Which is when they play for vision you are more vulnerable that it's something people always used to talk about So I feel like it's tough, you know, like how do you get a more advantageous support for 2v2 than what they've already been playing? Okay, we're very deep into the draft very quickly So let's quickly recap because Caitlyn Nico and And, and best of all taken away, Casante was first picked by G2, which honestly is very surprising when someone to this conversation has been about support and, uh, sorry, bot lane and jungle. And like, that was going to be the follow-up to my point, which is that I think jungle has had a huge impact on bot lane's ability to get prior, because it felt like that in games 2 and 3 especially, BLG did such a fantastic job of mitigating Skuman's impact and limiting his early jungle players, which slowed him down throughout the rest of the game. Broken Blade, I think did a pretty good job of mitigating Bin in the earlier stages of the last game. So that is something I will say kind of did go better. Obviously Bin then was Bin in T-Bikes, and he was playing as Jax, he was a problem. But I do think they did a pretty good job with that. I think this Zyopeak is such a good idea for BLG because when you lock in the Vi, because Zyopeak gets so much value, especially against a champion that wants to dive into you, having that ultimate punishes you so effectively. So, BLG choosing to take it away and now Rakan immediately raises in priority and with Poppy already taken out of the pool, the pressure is now on G2. Do you want to take away the Rakan? And if you do, you're then going up against Ons Alistar. So like, I think BLG have come with a great approach into this first few takes. Yeah, there's also the option of going Leona, which was always kind of that old classic counter into the Rakan. Korki is up and available, which is something I kind of think about. You know, Korki was picked earlier. So we'll have to see where haunts actually wants to go here because like misfortune I think doesn't make any sense. It doesn't have enough self-pill It's fortunate against Fias But with Ezreal and Corki gone, you're a little bit limited. Sivir as well would be high on my priority list But that's also gone too. They could consider maybe a Jhin Just because Jhin I mean That champion is just trash, man. Okay. I'd like this more. I feel like yeah, Jhin and Kaisa are the two that kind of I was ending up on where it's like, okay, you either join the dive or you use something to try to absorb the dive. I just think Jhin is just garbage and especially these Ghostblade builds, they're just deal no damage. So I like this a lot more. Now you are kind of setting yourself up for a pretty aggressive comp. I do think it gives the opportunity for BLG to try to draft to absorb that. I was a little bit worried for G2 that on could have just gone like Renata here honestly or something along those lines. Because when you're already showcasing dive and relatively low range, I think that can be a bit scary. I think for BLG you probably want to ban aggressive pairings for this, because if you have Kaisa, you want to go in, Kaisa Rakan, I'm thinking about champions like Akali rising in priority, like Silas maybe even rising in priority, especially because there is the Alistar, so I feel like Silas is kind of a must-ban, and then to me it's a question of do you care about Akali or not, but now Kai so far. I'd be shocked if they leave Silas up, I feel like Silas goes so hard. I think G2 should be worried about Ari and Syndra once again, I think I think both of those pair very nicely alongside the Vi, and they're both just mega comfort picks for Nights. Akali, as you also mentioned, is... Well, wouldn't you be happy playing Silas into the Auri with an Alistar ult to steal? I feel like that's actually... I don't know. That's about as good as you can get. So personally, I just don't like Silas in desire. I think that throwing more melees into a champion that wants you to come to her, that can punish you so effectively. And right now, I don't think Silas has great setup. Like Rakan and Alon is not enough. I need to know what jungle they're thinking about. general options I think they're now becoming a lot more limited with Vi taking out of the pool. So, uh, Silas to me like I see the value specifically into the, uh, the Alistar, but I kind of need to see what else G2 is cooking in terms of what they would pair up alongside her in the jungle. Possibly something like the mouth fight. The ability to jump on the Zyre, yes, you can ult up out of your ult, but then you throw it up with a weakness, right? Like so, you have some options to like have a dive onto that Zyre, but it is obviously really risky and not something we often see from Schumann. Yeah, I mean there's kind of just the, the 80 jungler tier list right we can look at things like inferior at this point you can look at things like wu kong hasn't yet been played you can look at mouth play potentially there's a lot of a lot of junglers that are still up and available callie will be there i think that makes a lot of sense you know again from BLG's side i feel like when you see kaisa you see rakan they're going to pair with dive right you kind of just have to and so benny with a callie i think makes a lot of sense i'm curious where BLG will go and four there in a band the syndra as well as the re so that would take away some of these strong matchups and yeah I really I really feel like capsis is maybe gonna go silo here I could be way off base but I see the angle as well I see the angle even if ready is about 100% sure that's much more protection bands it would make a lot of sense to be a G like we look it's rewards that's hotliner here knowing already the Cassante is in been on the Camille He's just going through his greatest hits across the course of this series. Yeah, he does. That he does. That is really scary. That is so much dive. Like that. Like I'm just, no matter what, Bin locks in and he's like, oh, that's tough. I don't like that at all. I mean, it's just, I feel like you get to free land to Cassante, Cassante, I really feel can't punish it. And also, like, okay, sure, Vi goes in, Kaisa then, okay, you've ulted me, I then ult out. Bin then says, nah, you're staying right here with me, buddy. So the dive threat from BLG looks really nice right now. She too, taking into consideration their options. And yet, so this is the thing that I was like more mindful of is that, like, depending on what general option they feel they're limited to, largely determines what options can pass. It seems that team fighting seems to be the direction that they're going. So this Kaiser is less about diving and more about the self-peel. We're going to be using the ultimate to try and outplay the Camille and basically try the best to stay alive. TF is interesting, you know, if you go TF, you're all playing to the side. I don't really like Casio, that's a little bit strange. I mean, I think it's compositionally a good answer and the 1v1 definitely don't like it as a victor. It can be a pretty tough matchup, you're getting outranged in victor and a lot of these kind of like, against these mid-range mages, you're just getting laser poked on cooldown and it can be a little bit difficult. That being said, the miasma is problematic for a lot of these champions. Yeah, basically all of GZ's champions are playing from the victor And then the fact you're running into the Castile, you have that Petch of Fine Gaze, it's very concerned. So to me, you know, this is not a lane pick, this is a composition pick. He said, you are going to be trying to dive in on us, you're going to be trying to come forward with four of the champions. And all of a sudden, you have to go through the Petch of Fine Gaze, through, you know, this combo there from the Alistar, through all the feathers of the Ziya, and really just trying to make it difficult compositionally. But it does open the door for Capsus and enough for success in the 1v1. and we saw game 1 and game 2, he was doing very, very well in that 1v1 against Knight, which would be huge. Once more into the breach, my friends, as BLG are one game away from claiming the LPL's first international title since 2023 MSI. For G2, it's DeWardyke. They have to win this, they have to win the next if they're gonna put you at the top of League of Legends. And it's been a long time since 2019 for G2 for caps, it's in particular for BLG. So looking as an organization for that first ever international trophy. Let's make our way onto Summoner's Rift and see who of the LPL and the LEC can fight first in this game. I mean, BLG, as an organization they've gone through so many different variations and last year. I mean, we all remember it, the, the, I don't know, what's the right word? The number of junglers that they went through, it just felt... SLU? Yeah, SLU. I mean, they just tried so many different iterations and they ultimately landed back on Shun, right? They realized that this was the man that kind of did bring the team together and like, it's been overused but it really is true. Like, this roster playing with Shun, it feels like that they are complete, they are whole and that shouldn't take You've done a really good job of highlighting throughout the series how impactful he has been as a player at this tournament Whether it comes to individual mechanics this great decision-making and a synergy just with on it's been so important To create BLG's early game which then enables the soul lamest to do what they do so well Hey being the glue guy doesn't mean you can't also be the go But now it's horses that usually turn into glue I mean he has been smurfing it so far. Good thing for G2 though, no crazy level 1s happening, which has been something that BLG have been going for a lot and getting some nice advantages with things. He caps is playing airy, so we'll be conqueror there for a night, and more of that scaling option. Interesting that Viper is also going to be going for that conqueror. I feel like Zayac can kind of go a lot of different ways. You can go conqueror, you can go lethal tempo. I've even seen some people playing PTA, so that's kind of dealer's choice. the jungle is starting on the top side of the map. We'll be working our way down towards bottom. Viper is very healthy on this bottom lane. As Hans-Sommer down to half, he seems to have to go through all of his potions already. About trying to trade in. Gleaming Quill really what you want to use early on this Rakan into the Alistar. Knight very low on health. That man up. He's just able to walk out of Cap's clutches. Very much what I was able to saw from the map during the draft, where this Casio just kind of gets our range. Victor's a very good early skirmish here when it comes to the laning phase. So Caps has done a good job of just pushing him out with the bot prior and the mid prior that they do have those Scumon has used this opportunity to steal away a camp level 2 for the bot lane of G2. Shun is driving in for it. Scumon looking for the smite here. 700 HP on the red. Scumon, the smite comes down but it's Shun that's worth securing. Now it's Scumon in fact as the bot tries to come across Caps there as well. My Asma down. Set the force for him. Shun, Scumon flashes for the kill trying to heal up with the red buff here but I will be able to take him out with the last BLG I just don't think it's worth it at all there for G2. I mean, Skuwan was fighting the red buff, they're gonna keep going. Here, come on, look at that trample. Skuwan is fighting the red buff. Shun is fighting Skuwan. You know, he's just hitting the red buff because he has this might advantage. And it's Shun had no smite, so he just kept hitting him. And it could have been worse. Skiwon smote that to 1 HP. It almost went to an E from Shun, which would have made even worse there. But Skiwon is back out on the map. Wanted to keep this pressure on, but that was then double lost donate tonight. Then the follow-up kill on the caps. Now you've taken your winning lane for caps, and you've donated two buffs over tonight, two free kills, and just like that, it's gonna be a kind of a free pass out of the early game for the Casio. Yeah, the Casio is getting accelerated, which is always a scary position to put her in. So we look back at exactly as Zeal is saying. Alright, Shun is just hitting up to Scumon, dealing good damage. Katz then arrives on early flashes to get in range as quickly as possible. Knight commits his flash as well. And then this was the decision. Scumon's realizing with the bot lane collapsing through and Kaisa too far away to join the fight, I feel like I have to go for a one-for-one, but then on makes the smart decision saying, I still have my heal. Katz has no flash. You've got unlimited mana because of the blue buff. Let's chase this down and they do just that. Yeah, they're able to do it really well. I mean, Katz tried to get a sidestep there. Almond and Atchers Blast couldn't avoid it, and that second one connecting was going to be his doom. I mean, the speed up from the heel from Almond was pretty critical there as well, but just not what they would have wanted to see. The golden left hand of the LPL Knight has been running things in that league for a while, seven LPL titles. Schumann going to be warded out, and Schund is in the area. This guy has just been stellar across multiple rosters, multiple teams. He is, to me, the greatest LPL player of all time. Yeah, and was part of the roster of that last one in international title for the LPL. JDG back at MSI 2023, now looking to add another trophy to their cabinet here at First Stand 2026. BLG once again out to this strong early lead, leads in mid, lead in top, about 1,000 gold there, advantage across the board. Things looking very favorable for BLG once again in the early game. G2, they're gonna have to navigate their way through the fights as Cap stands up losing a cannon minion there as he's trying to interrupt the base from Knight. Knight should have a pretty healthy, like I don't think he's actually gone back to base since that skirmish, so he's probably sitting on a decent amount of gold as well. You know all this bot lane, I mean it kind of only gets harder as the levels come through. Alistar having a lot more playmaking power, even though On doesn't have any sun that's available to him, he's still threatening very nicely in this bot lane 2v2. He is, but Viper hasn't bought yet so they definitely are just looking to get reset. We'll see if Scumond can get any sort of advantage. It's a very slight gold lead. Did get that kill, so got a bit of an injection. We'll see if he can find an angle. They don't want to let Viper get this reset, but it's going to be tough to stop. Shun is in the area as well. The Bob looking for the entrance knockup. Have to flash away from the ablades. Pulled back from Viper. Little rooted him up. And Shun coming across. Would have been an easy enough kill for BOG. Shouldn't have getting level six as well before Scumond. Means that the Drake should be Pretty easy for BLG to secure, half-maker in from Broke and Blade onto Bin, and trade in, then avoiding the walls. Broke and Blade could go forward with the all-out, X-Cold made him still available to the Camille as well, and it looks like in the end with the adaptive defences coming up for Camille, it will just be Broke and Blade backing off. I mean, I'm gonna be honest, this overgame just looks so devastating for G2, very reminiscent of what we saw in Game 3. The advantage that Shen has over Ski-Mod is monstrous as on-sets his sights onto mid. He goes in with the trancel, that's the best round of games as well, cancels over the dodge to the side of it, didn't get stunned up even with the exhaust, is able to walk himself to safety. Nicely done there, SQmon come in to cover, LeBron there to cover, that could have been an angle for a kill. But it's just so hard now because Victor plays as a poke style against Casio, but now Casio gets two early kills, you get the two buffs, then you have an early catalyst, and all of a sudden you're kind of just ignoring the damage and hitting the wave. I don't know how quickly you're accelerating that tier as well, wrapping that one up. Ana is doing so much work in this early game. It's just everywhere right now. Schumann will get the spotlight on the Red Buff. Trampol coming out from on, knocks him back towards Schumann. Battle dance away, but there's a season to stay spot on the wall. And with the Miasma coming in from night, LeBrop has to try and dance his way away. Schumann trying to get the Red Buff. Slow the knock-up, Schumann will fall, LeBrop will survive. Oncourting the gravity well on BLG. Overstep is above of the height. Oh, that's on tonight! Take a knee, Matt! Broken blade on Take a Knee! Big overstep from BLG. As on just got a little bit too confident. He goes in very deep with Shen. They want to take away that red buff. They know that they have the leveled advantage. They have the gold advantage in here, but it's just too deep. Exactly. I mean, and Viper stills me no reset. A single Platinum's game, and in comes the guy. So in comes this bot lane that could not finish off LeBlanc quickly enough. Look where Benes. He can't join. The Kaisa shows up. They realize that the fight is an absolute disaster. BLG. BLG, this is sometimes how they are. They can outplay it. they can create these big advantages and then they can get overconfident and give it right back. It is the kind of give and take of this roster. They get a little bit wild sometimes and now G2 is going to be the receiving end of that. Hans gets two kills out of nowhere. The kais is accelerated. Brokenblade picks up a kill. G2 were in the gold lead. The RG is still doing a lot of things right through this early game though. On and Shun teaming up. Shun is going to be able to take the second neutral objective of the game in the form of the Grubbs and G2 although they have it 300 gold lead night still massively ahead of caps in that mid lane. I mean the wave of momentum, oh words, a wave of momentum has shifted towards G2 though which they very much needed because this early game felt like it was rapidly getting out of control. The dragon has been secured, we're secured earlier on by BLG but now it's G2 they want to get a little bit more proactive on the map. Yeah this is the thing that Having that momentum having that impetus allows g2 to do the whole game It's been on and some going into skumans jungle saying hey You can have your wolves, but we're taking your blue you can have your red But we're taking your raptors you can have this but we're taking this and now it's g2 Who can actually be on that front foot knowing they have enough tools enough? Advantages to be able to take a fight if it materializes. I think g2 clearly came into this game with that plan, right? You know right from the word go they're going on this in the they're trying to put pressure on the shun They didn't want to be the ones always on the receiving end, you know, we had talked about it a lot How much Schumann is being pressured? Of course, it's not just the 1v1 Jungle is about the lanes, is about the team, but Schumann being able to get off on the right foot, live it more in this game And to Paul though, they don't get overconfident because he's the reality. Bin is playing like he has all serious luck. He's built himself an individual CS advantage He's still in a good spot on this Camille continuing his scale up as Rook of late Actually, he fancies himself a nice bit of a trade. Does that the ultimate back off cooldown? But getting that early armor obviously helping him in terms of this won't be long. I mean, I think BIM is a fantastic laner, but to me the thing that has always really been stand out about BIM is actually his team fighting, right? Because a lot of times he plays these scaling picks and he's just confident. As long as he is getting gold, he is going to find impact in the 5v5s, in the 3v3s. When it comes time to make that big play, this guy has done it time and time and time again, more so than in the lane. I really associate his success with just finding those big plays in the later stages. I mean there was that Camille play that he did back in MSI, I want to say 24. One of the craziest combos. Yeah and there was something break down in the rampage. So like, I mean he used to be, I want to say it was a Camille one trick back in his solo queue days, back in the day. But like this is just one of the champions that he became so synonymous with, champion that many have feared. It makes sense that he would pick it in the broken blade considering how he must feel. He is just so much stronger in the lane. He is looking to proxy right now but Skirmond is in the area. That's a cyclone. Aaron Bin Hookshot will die. Doesn't get over the wall though now. Flash is broken back with the Parkmaker. Hexagon made him trace to be used up. Pulling back with the all out. And G2 will find bin. Caster cast for Batty. Look man, I know you won the LEC to win, but that was overkill. Classic cast to buy as far as disgusting when you think about it. Ben trying to go for a proxy angle there and Skumont just has the right timing. Brokenblade already had his buy so he had the ice board, he has the 1v1 advantage. Ben isn't even trying to kill that wave, he's just trying to pull the wave so it stacks and pushes towards him so he can get a free base. And unfortunately Skumont shows up, he gets punished, loses his flash, loses the ult, does die. Importantly for BLG though while that was happening shun was covering bot lane and Hansa mill above had to walk away So you can see now Hans about 300 go behind 20 CS down in that box side Yeah, that is definitely a worthy trade But this is now two kills that broken blade has been able to pick up, you know on that earlier run He got the kill on tonight now gets a second one here and So kill I don't think Camps walks out of this one, Skeumont trying to come in, Scythe and Power of the Shield, the Greatest, perhaps it does! J2 out of these miracles been waiting for us! I mean that was a massive misplay for Nights, like if I could see it from the castadets and shocked that he didn't see it himself, the fact that he ended up losing in the 1v1, he loses his flash and then Schumont tries to get something back, But this time LeBrov and Sculand are ready. G2 are bouncing back here in Game 4 as they find themselves more kills. I mean, Knight needed to early flash because as soon as you get hit by the laser, you flash after. He's always going to flash follow with the ultimate there to knock you down. So Caps able to get a solo kill. Knight had that early skirmish put in my head, but the invade wasn't over, Stefan. I talked about it. This is a pick that is more about the comp, not about the match-up. It is a very hard match-up to play out. You're right here, you know that Q, E and R is a kill. And so Knight, like as you said, the only way that Caps doesn't flash for that is if he misses the E. But the fact that you would get hit by the E and then flash costs you so much. He gets the shield off of the Scythe of Power and advice just like the Outer Range, allowing for the Brogdon Scumont to come in and save the day. That is so tilting as a Vi as well. Oh, that's what it is. And I mean, Shen now is being put in a spot where he is pretty far behind on the Vi. And sometimes these games can become really rough for a Vi when you are getting put down like this. The thing for me though is, like, these kills, they're promising, they're exciting, but in terms of the actual goal, it's not amounting into massive gold leads yet. G2 don't have a firm foot in this game, but maybe that'll change right now. Campsonski went on the flank, on with the knockback, onto the broad who does have the quickness. Camps trying to come in with that gravity well, heal out from on, we'll get him out of it. There's the sign into the arcane storm, I'm knocked up and break my will, pretty well broken by G2. Viper now with the pedestal, with the Flash. Are they gonna go into his nest? Are they gonna look for the die with the TP out from Nightshun on his way across as well? G2 begin to call off the play, they get the TP out. Sun won't be in range to stop S.T.U.M.ON, with an Ocher's barf. Night can still chase in. Cyclone, my Asmode, LeBron, dodges the petrifying gaze. The demands are coming out. LeBron, they will be in the form! He's on Summer! LeBron, James, with the alley-oop for Dumbled! Behind Summer! Fight for Ruby, able to walk away! But that was gorgeous from G2! But a brawl, but the outplay there, the backstep on the quickness was sick, and now Brogan Blade wanted to get involved on the topside. It looks like they had such a good angle, because the Miasma felt like it was going to cut them off, and then right as they go forward, you're thinking, alright, it's straight into the testifying gaze, but G2 knew it. This ult from Ron just came out way too late, and he was already low. It's not going to protect you very much when you're down that much HP. Knight pushes out mid, TP's bot. And now he's looking for a turnaround play because he knows that Shin is on the way as well. He thinks that, hey, maybe I can punish Skuwon, and the management placement was good, but LeBron reads it. The step backwards, recognizing he is going to come through, sets up for Han, slams it onto the back line. And before this replay, I said, Gigi don't really have a sizable enough gold lead for me to have a huge amount of confidence that they really have a foothold in this game. But now it is 3,000 gold to their name, 15 minutes in, skew on, 1.2k the goal lead, he is having way more impact than he's had in the last two. I didn't get stunned up, that's right comes out from gas, now he's able to walk away from the arcane storm, it takes half his health for it. And as much as Viper has done great in this lane phase, Autos four random kills, your own top pick of a couple there, they have this service here, he picks up a couple there, and all of a sudden, despite being down 30 CS, it doesn't matter, he's up nearly a thousand gold on the Kaisa, really accelerated off of these plays, right place, right time, his teammates set him up so well. And G2 after nearly a 3,000 gold lead off of an early game that felt like it was BLGs. All out on to Ben here, which I thought would get him away, DB, gonna flash forward, but Ben has to flash respect. The flash Q out of broken blades, Q might also coming in from the side. Like, I, DB just beat Ben in a 1v1 in the top lane. I mean, he's been the beneficiary of all of these early kills and they've done him a lot of favours. He's done a lot of work onto this top tower and I feel like that when we think back to the last two games, BLG were the ones dictating the pace of the game. And it's crazy to think how that one deep invade on the topside jungle has completely swung the momentum G2's way. They are the drivers of this game. They are the initiators. They are the one making these plays. And now, Dragon, 20 seconds away. We're one to one apiece, and you have to expect that G2 will set the sides on this next objective. The game is far from over, but if you're BLG and you lose this game, that is what you were thinking about. You're thinking about that failed invade. Oh, on with the knock-up here. Shun down for the follow-up. My Asva down. Blastcone used beautiful southern BLG. A Trident collapsing onto Sku-Munder. They skewer him on the end of it. Broke of Blade now, needs to get away. We'll be able to get Shun underneath the tower with the path, make a Q3 for the knockback as well, BLG investing 4 to make sure that Bin can take this tower and open up the map. And that's first tower, so there's a ton of gold given back to Bin. BoB and Blade have been able to pick up a couple of these kills. You know, it was kind of just in this position where you get ahead of enough on a tank, in case it's outstating them, right? It's hard to trade back, so this is really key for Bin, getting him into a good position once again in the 1v1. And I think it was a big mistake from Skumon because BLG recognized you know what we're not strong enough to fight for the dragon We'll give this dragon up and instead we'll look to cross map But then skumon I think he just got a bit too greedy trying to stop them from committing to that top tower instead trying to fight them And he ends up losing his life giving over way more gold than he needed to 1.5k to swing now only 1.5k gold lead for G2 and the dragon is still on the cards with that extra gold injection I wonder if BLG will look to try and contest it And BLG still have a ton of tools in a team fight. You've got the feathers on from Viper, if he's ever jumped on. Hex, second holder made him from being on to the back with a cease and desist follow up. Like someone from G2 could immediately be popped in any of these fights. And if they're the ones going for the engage, we know about the ability of the counter engage here. Trying to dive through those feathers, through the miasma, through the petrifying gaze, very, very difficult. But G2 still in the driver seat here, are going to be the ones starting this up. And I think it's likely to be given. We'll see if BLG want to try to get over there. Looks like it is just gonna be given over to G2. Their second of the game, yeah, 28 minutes sold if we get to that point. And now this is where I will say it stops being fun for Kassante. Once Camille has lifesteal here, you have the Ravenous Hydra, you're peeling up over and over off these waves. It becomes very difficult for Kassante to put them down. BLG overloading Bossa. I'm flashing in with the knock-up quickness coming out, but with the hexiautomane and follow-up, there's no escape from LeBron. The bird in a cage locked up as G2 lose another BOG with a great pick. a great pick. I love the lane gank from bin simply because there's no cross map option available for g2. The wave was pushed in mega deep up towards the topside broken blade only just now getting that anywhere near that top tower and maybe you will secure it but be able to get a tower up the road with a kill as well. They did commit a lot to it but even having the tp from knight this is just great because knight then goes up defends the tower on the topside. You get the kill, you get the tower. The tower makes it more worthwhile to me if it's just a support kill for flash from your support from multiple key ultimates feels less worthwhile, but defending the topside tower, taking one of their own, really clawing back this gold league BLG making a couple of very good plays. Absolutely, and that just goes to show that G2 they can't afford to make any more mistakes because BLG is ready to pounce and then is in prime position to do just that. Pressively, that he's starting to build up for himself. The two out of CnL that you've already highlighted is out, really starting to look more threatening is Baron. Now makes its way onto the left. 14 kills in 20 minutes, and the slower games that we've had today, which is not something that you always get to say, is G2 with only a thousand goldly now has been cut to own a third of what it once was. BLG's done a really good job over these last few moments, finding picks, catching G2 on a wares, and they are on the precipice of coming back in this game. I mean Viper yet to find an assist or a kill, but he has a full level over on some and he's done a really good job of continuing to farm. He does have that 35 CS lead above him, and while he is, of course, behind in gold because of that lack of participation, once he starts getting those kills, I mean, he's even in terms of minimization. This is what they keep doing, they see LeBron overstepping, immediately they jump onto him. It's not gonna be enough, he's broken blade tries to get him towards the backlight. Skillmon going in, LeBron is able to escape, even through the poison ticking. Viper walking away as broken blade is headbutted. Back to the rest of his team, but meanwhile, Bin continues just to push in a side lane. BLG distracting G2 from bin who is trying to get these plates. I mean G2 tried to group they tried to make plays happen But it's the brawl that keeps getting caught out and BLG are leveraging this to find more advantages on the map And I think the really costly thing is Han's lost both summoners right so that is gonna make it very difficult at this next dragon G2 Do have with two early dragons caps Just gonna get forced away by night That's the other value, yeah. And the Harold will be killed before it can find its mark. Two minutes on the next straight, still a while before that next objective, but you can see what BLG are doing so well. LeBron tries to step up, step up. Immediately, flash, bolt break it. Let's go, let's get him down as low as possible, making use of the quickness defensively wherever we can. I couldn't quite burst him down, but the big spike now, four and nine, as he gets that archangel. So now you have that shield, you're about to take over to ten on that rowa. So it's a big part of the game here for a knight caps has gone in towards It could be a zone is or just a pit stop for that seekers And then if you don't have to pop you can obviously turn there into a death gap or a shadow flame or whatever else But cap still looking for that second completed item That bold lead has disappeared 3k was the advantage that you to had a mass But after that pick on the scheme on the top tower plays the gank and bot lane BLG have closed that gap once again And now we're in a very even game say what itemization is pretty dead set across the board it all comes down to execution now as BLG is going to secure their third out of tower That's three towers to zero right now And that's one of the big reasons that the gold leader struck G2 have been unable to pick up any of those standing Objectives on the map any of that standing gold. Yes, they are one minute away from a possible soul point But as soon as you start cracking through these towers, it really accelerates you towards those second and third items That's the the glass half empty the glass half full is if you win a fight one plate remaining on bought our one plate remaining on top tower to in mid lane you could crack those ours pretty quickly and Grab some of that standing gold You're gonna take some more space on the map which can be quite nice And the second item obviously has been done for haunts for a while Looks like he's gonna be going in towards dusk and dawn which has become very very popular on the kaisa We can see throughout the trajectories that often when PLG got on lead in this series it was very difficult for them to lose it. G2 getting that comeback victory in game one, but now we're in a very even game state as we get closer to the dragon's warning. It's going to be the haunting guys, four caps. As you said, a little stop gap with the Seekers and the needlessly large rod. Drake up in eight seconds time, not much vision down there for G2. Knight is hiding in the Baron pit right here. Paps is going to spot him out. Shen here for the chasers. Well Knight able to put them as the downforce camps away, that doesn't mean Knight has to take the long route back to join up with the rest of BLG. Yeah, Knight took about a thousand damage there from Caps, we'll be able to grab some honey fruit, heal it back up, so it's going to be just fine, but level 15 for now, you know, just even on levels with Caps despite the Roa ticking over. Rokinblade might get level 16 off this wave, no, never mind, he's going to start rotating across the TP, he's actually going to be committed early, they want to contest for this wave, getting prior was much harder when that tower is still alive but now they will gain access into the river but Ben doing a good job of keeping that bot wave push. Exactly and they're actually being over on a Baron because remember how fast Casio can do this. They're trying to threaten a two man with Ben going down towards that bot side. They're trying to draw G2 in multiple directions and G2 needs to commit to one side. You either start the dragon, you try to collapse on Ben, you got to do something here because Ben is gonna have that wave crashing in. It also has the TP still so if a BLG start up for the Baron which is what they're gonna do, Ben can just teleport back. Shun and Knight able to do the Baron by himself has been being collapsed on by caps and broken blade me one of the mid lane skumond and hunts summer just trying to keep the wave around being able to dodge towards the inhibitor tower and keep the rest of g2 distracted like Rob hunts summer and skumond are into the baron pit right now skew trying to get in there vision in the back of it for g2 hunts summer opening up with the academy ray g2 caps is going to tp skumond on the baron right now and they can just finish it shun flashes in get the spike season is this as well on to the arcane storm shun in the middle of the pit is going to go down as well While Bin was able to escape, G2 will find two, but BLG will get the Baron. Shun comes up clutch for BLG once again. He needed to get that steal after. BLG found themselves in a very awkward position. Once the TP from Caps came through, the poke was landing from G2. That could have been devastating for BLG, but Shun is able to save it. That was crazy risky for BLG. I feel like if Sku-Mann gets that smite, it's a collapse. It is such a disaster, but they are looking for a potential clash here, and they just still has ult. And the pin is just new on the fight. Pin loves this position against G2, Knight trying to step forward, Scumon trying to get out. The hookshot wall dive in from Bin, Hex to go to Maiden, put onto Scumon who's invisible for a second. Knight with a noxious buff, TP behind, Scumon flashes, dies immediately afterwards for a prop. Having to dance his way away, the pin's trying to get onto that backline. Peck, you're buying games, gonna land as well, there's a headbutt, but overrides! BLG promised you to resuberance! They take them down as they look for the dragon! It's the spellbook TP from on into the three-man combo. They're gonna look for more than that. They're just going for the base right here. Right now, it's 30 seconds on haunts. They might just end the game! So many times, BLG have come up just short. Second place, second place, second place. But here, in First and in South Paolo, they are looking for the ultimate prize. BB trying to beat on that frontline. but he is dead where he stands. Caps try to defend. G2 unable to do anything. Second place no longer. Resention for BLG. Resurrection for the LPL. BLG are your first stand, champions. And it can end that quick. BLG, flip the game on a dime, find the angle, knowing that how that teleport That's going to be available from on knowing Ben can play for the fight knowing that G2 are focused on the dragon BLG pile in and crush the dreams of G2 who made you believe in this tournament made you believe in this game but BLG are the first stand champions first international title for this organization first international title for the LPL since 2023 MSI the LPL fans have been hungry and finally they can eat. Lots of performance by BOG, not just today but across the tournament. They have been dominant and today they show they are the very best in the world right now. For the LPL as you say three long years in the desert, now again international glory. We'll see if they can continue it across the rest of the year, but right now, one thing is for sure, it is BLG's world and we're just living in it. I mean you called it, Medic. They have been sitting in that second place for so long, it feels like this organization has come so close so many times, you may have been unable to do it. And in this game it was looking scary, it was looking close. Was it going to be another situation where they were at match point and they couldn't close things out? But then they took the initiative themselves. They drove home that final fight and they just ended the game off the back of it BLG's players are standing and coming to this tournament all eyes were on night They were on game but really it was on and shown that were the superstars of this roster They really brought everything together and were the massive playmakers for BLG especially in today's fight. They played incredibly well. A slower start for their fans. Five games against Fiora X, but after that it was Domination, they free-off G2 last time, G2 able to get a game this time around, but BLG waiting to free, and they got Viper with their eyes on international titles. This was one of these massive pickups where the entire offseason was stalled around this player in the LPL, everyone hoping that they would be able to recruit him to their team. Their team, they wanted to play with Ben, they wanted to play with Ben, they wanted to go to BLG. And in their first opportunity, they have proclaimed international glory. A massive credit to BLG, and I mean, it sets up for an exciting year with LPL back on top. With LCK filtering here at this tournament, and Europe's G2 standing strong. It makes for a very interesting event, an interesting year ahead. And G2 continues to be the LPL's fourth or fifth seed, depending on what tournament we're at. They take out the LCK and then lose to BLG here in the finals. For G2, of course, commiserations on the finals, but what a performance they put up across the course of this tournament. Exactly. And like I said, before they even played this series, I still believe that this is the best international performance from Europe ever, from G2 ever. 3-0 over the number one and number two LCK seeds in back-to-back series. I think his unmatched was incredible, but BLG, the rightful champions here today, there's no denying it's 6-1 against G2 in this tournament. They definitely have their number. Absolutely, they certainly have. The LPL continues to be Europe's Crypto Knight. I mean, what an exciting team to watch as well. I feel like a lot of the concerns that we heard about this team coming to this tournament was sometimes they get over it to sell us, they get a bit over it. They've even saw it at the beginning of this game where they just went too deep on there and made. And they'll comment about how good is their team fighting. But everything seemed to have come together for them at this tournament. They found their form in the meta. They also kind of defined how the meta should be played. When a lot of teams were driving through bot lane, it was top and jungle that was the main drivers for this squad. And again, being even demonstrating his excellence with his carry-style champions, the impact he was having in all of these fights, They've been a super exciting team to watch and now the responsibilities on the rest of the world to catch up. Yeah, it's an absolute pleasure to watch and I do think just for global league this is such a good tournament because we saw that the LCK can bleed. We saw that the LCK is not guaranteed. They don't just show up and the best LCK team is given the trophy. They can be taken down and they were taken down by an unlikely source. It was BLG that most people were saying, well if anyone could stand a chance against Gen G it would be BLG. Everyone I talked to going into the Gen G G2 series was saying it was going to be a 3-0. There's no chance Most people weren't predicting that you know Gen G would either drop zero or one games in the whole tournament Right and G2 show that they can be taken down LPL show that they are back on top of the League of Legends world So it does make it so much more exciting. I feel like going into the rest of the year You know not knowing what is going to happen That is the beauty of these tournaments where they are unpredictable. Yeah, and I think that this tournament has reinvigorated two regions. It goes for China, of course, now that they've gotten a title back since 2023, it's extremely exciting for the LPL. But also for Europe, that hope has been reignited. The possibility is the chance that that gap is not as big as we initially thought. And so, it sets us up for a very interesting year. That is absolutely sure. We don't even have to wait long as the regular seasons with so many splits are going to be starting just around the corner, like a week or two away and all these teams are going to get right back into their domestic leagues and right back into the action so BLT they're not going to have much time to to relax but they are going to take this opportunity to celebrate you see them with the Brazilian crowd right now who've just been absolutely incredible here at the arena yeah it's been an incredible time here in Sao Paulo an incredible week of League of Legends action and an incredible cast of the Do you think so much for joining us? We've had over to Yamasetsu to break down that series and praise BLG more It has been a one hell other ride all week here in Brazil at first hand But at the end of the day it is BLG taking it Overcoming finally that final step and seizing in international trophy for the very first time second time for Viper though Yeah I'm really happy for BLG initially You know shun coming back onto this lineup. I know they've wanted to play with him again very specifically And you can absolutely see why because for me He was so So good today in terms of setting up their early game And I'm just so glad that everyone got to see the fun and kind of chaos that BLG really loved to bring to so many of their games This was the team that they're like we're just gonna kind of smash you early and then take things over And I think you saw that today. I mean it was such a chaotic finals Especially in a tournament with so many three-hours. This is back and forth even in all individual games It felt so hard to read who's even gonna come out with the nexus taken down and even the last game was back and forth Yeah, I was back and forth mostly at BLG's own discretion and all is like, let's go into the jungle. And they all, you know, I do love it, you know, because you do get to see, oh yes, this definitely is still BLG that you know and love because they do go very deep into the jungle, give some back there, and then Bitten gets caught out of it, Nikes blasted it, and you're like, whoa. We take turns, get over some hills. I think the other thing is while BLG were kind of this team that did just smash early on, they did have to learn, the team you see here now was a team that had to improve their team-fighting, had to improve their side-leaning, and really focused. And you could see it just in this game where they're like, okay, you know what? We made a few too many mistakes. We're gonna reel it back in. We're gonna play it slower. We're gonna play through this Camille. Bin's OG pick, right? His name in Seoul Cue, and he was coming up while he was a trainee, was Love Camille. And he's done so many amazing things on this champion, but I just love how Dave, has to be a much more well-rounded team to win this tournament. Yeah, wholeheartedly agree. And it is a difficult choice. You know, Shun, really big game, really big series. Bin as well, really big series. Personally, I went with Shun for a player of this series, but I would not be mad without a rose. Well, you're so did I. I saw the classics come out from Bin, you know, the Jackson, those team fights. It's just so impactful, but it was a tough pull. He teleported in at that last dragon and you saw the flank from Camille. I was like, okay, yep, he's gonna like two shots somebody right now. We're right at him. And then they just snowballed and just win the game right off of that. Continue pushing. Guys, I often parody talk about on because for me, when I think about BLG, when I think about the inconsistencies of BLG last year, especially despite the jungle changes, it was on, on the support next to Elk who was often on and off committing those mistakes. But I feel like he's been, Chris, he's been fantastic this tournament. I feel like on is a microcosm for VLG as a whole, right? Like even in just this game, you saw him go a little bit too far and you saw him make some really crucial plays. And in the series leading up to this, we also got to see him pulling out the Anivia support earlier in the series, pulling out the Shen support. So he's just been really flexible and really on at this moment. Such a huge playmaker for the team and such a versatile champion pool. He can take champions from other roles that opponents might want to use in fearless and from this game in particular I think the Alistar heels speed up to go get the extra kill on the caps after the in the early game Was critical from him and looks like they're setting up for the on-stage interviews with them I mean BLD once again such big Congratulations to this team the organization, you know getting their international title. It's huge the players of course decorated individually. I feel like BLG has been chasing that title for so long, been so close to getting it, lots of finals, but finally secure now after all this time. And we're ready for the stage interview with the 14 players and Blondie. That's right, guys. Let's make a lot of noise here at the end of the day. We have the champions of the first stage of 2020. The 26BLG here with us, from Melado Itaúende, will make the translation for all of you. And we'll talk to all of them now. I'll start by asking the Chum here. As we've talked about throughout the championship, LPL doesn't lift an international trophy since 2023. So we'll start with Chum asking how he feels. Soon. Congratulations on winning. Speaking about the region, LPL. You hadn't lived an international trophy since 2023. So how does it feel? How does it mean to you to bring it back now? First of all, congratulations to all of you for being the first global champion of our interview with our big players, Xun. Actually, all of our questions are starting from the competition area. For LPL, the last champion has been the MSI for the past two or three years. So this time, again, in front of the global audience, let's welcome the champion of LPL. What are your feelings and what does it mean to you? I'm very happy. The performance has been not so good recently. I think everyone has been playing very well. The cooperation and tacit understanding are very high. I think we are the best team. I think the coach has helped me a lot. He has a lot of personal responsibilities. I have absorbed a lot of them. I have grown up a lot. So I must say I'm super happy, super excited at this moment and also for the previous maybe two years We don't have a very good result a very good performance on the stage But coming back to BLG we were able to really build a very strong bond We were able to really have a very good synergy the good performance I'd like to give all my appreciation to all the fans and also all my teammates here and also Credit to our coaching staff Danny as well because he's always one gave me the very detailed feedback back and help me a lot really to make my personal growth and improvements so I like to give my appreciation to all of you and definitely this champion is so meaningful for me. Now I'm going to ask Knight, because we asked him, we talked to him about it. He is the guy who brought this international trophy in 2023 to LPL. And then he is here again bringing another trophy. So I'm going to ask him that people here in Brazil even considered him one of the best in the world. What do you think of that? So Knight, you lifted the trophy back in 2023 and now you've done it again. So, people in Brazil have been saying you're the best midlaner in the world right now, so what do you think about that? I'm really happy and very excited to be able to with LPL representing LPL to leave this trophy once again on the international stage. But I'd like to say we're not going to be satisfied with what we have achieved now. We still got a long journey to go. We got MSI, we got World Championship. championship we still have a long way and we're going to just travel back in order to really maintain very good performance, a very good momentum on the stage to show all of you. He's a big champion here. His second title here in the first stand. And then he came with all this pressure to defend this title. How does he see this moment? So Viper. The only two-time first-time champion you came in with all the pressure as a defending one and you delivered. So the only one. How special is this moment? Let's ask our ADC player, Viper, who is the champion of the World Finals in the past two years. I believe that when you come here, you will bring some heavy burden. Because after all, it's not an easy thing to do in the past two years. But you did it. You've made the champion of the Finals this time. So you're the only player you've made so far. What are your special feelings and thoughts? Q. How do you feel about the game? There were a lot of things, but we were able to show that we did it, so I think it's really good. For us, actually, because we still have a lot of things to do, I think it's been two years since we came here. For me, it's a great thing to be able to play on our stage again. At the same time, I want to say that I don't have any special feelings at the beginning, Before the final, I felt like the first round after we lost, I felt like I was recalling the memories of last year. Then we won the 3-1 game. I felt so happy. We didn't play so well today, but I think we can show what we want to show on the stage. So, sorry for that, I want to do the Chinese version first. And that person said, like, I'm really happy to be able to really play on the stage in two consecutive years for the first stand. And also, to be honest, coming to the final, I don't have much special feeling at the very beginning, but after the first game, we lost it. And I kind of got some feeling in my mind. And I'm really happy to be able to end up the game with the 3-0, be able to really grab the final trophy. And at the same time, I would like to say it's not a perfect game for us, but I'm very happy we're able to really showcase something good and showcase what Biaoji could do to showcase to all of you. international. So I wanted to know what the difference is, how different it is, in fact, to win outside of their region. Congratulations. And you had already won the LPL, but this is your first international title. So how different does it feel to win outside your region in front of a different crowd here very loud and I say This question is for the players You have won many championships in the LPL本土赛事 But this is the first time for you to hold a international trophy Especially in front of so many enthusiastic fans of different schools What does this trophy feel like to you? Because I have experienced too many international competitions, every time I only get the pressure, so I really hope to have a champion for international competitions. And I am really happy to have won this championship. Thank you very much to the viewers of the competition. I've really experienced so many failures, so many hardship times on the international stage. We will be able to come into the final but always end it up as the runner-up. So I'm really happy and excited that finally we were able to get this opportunity to lead our trophy and I would like to give a big thank you to all the crowd here keep supporting us. Thank you. He said he had many different feelings throughout this journey here. He was very grateful to all of you for being here, too, and for being here for them. Now we're going to talk to Danny, who's sitting back there, because Danny is only starting this year. We still have a MSI ahead of us, and we have a World Cup ahead of us. I wanted him to describe a little bit how it was this progress of the team so far. So, Danny, the year is just getting started with MSI and Worlds still ahead. How would you describe the team's progress in these early months of the season? Yes. So maybe I'll do the Chinese version first. So maybe I'll do the Chinese version first. I'd like to ask the coach, because victory is just the beginning of everything. For you, there's a long way to go. MSI, World Championships, and other international competitions. So how do you evaluate the growth and cooperation of the team? The coach's answer is, every time you come to the international competitions, it's a great experience for us. Because I think we can learn from different competitions to different things. Including the fact that we can face many Western teams, we can learn from them some of their operations, And they may have very good communication in the game. These parts can be absorbed and used. At the same time, when facing many LCK teams, they can be able to do very well in both the game and in the line-up. We can also analyze them and make them our own nourishment. I think that every time I come to the international game, I have a very good experience and growth. I hope that we can work together in the future. So the answer from Denny Riz. We are always very happy to have international experiences. and especially, you know, competing with different teams can be the new experience for us. For example, we can really learn a lot from the macro, from those, like, the Western teams, because they can really do a super good job for the in-game communications, and also to, like, do the macro and do whatever they want, so we can really absorb those knowledges and make a good use of that. And also, in facing off against those Al-Straki teams, they really did a super good job in the laning phase, in all the macro. We can also analyze on that and try to make good use of that. So in the future, we're going to have more, maybe, international stages, and we're going to just travel about to learn more and to do better. He said he really likes to have international experiences, because it's where they can see different views. He said that, for example, the teams here in the West have a different macro vision, they can communicate in a different way, and that absorbing this in these tournaments is important for them too. He also said very well how communication is, and how the LCK game is, He said he would like to bring more titles to the LPL region. Now we're going to talk about BIM, because BIM is considered one of the best top laners in the world. But he hasn't been on the trophy since 2022. So I wanted to know how it is to finally get on the trophy. So you've always been in the top tier. Many fans consider you the best top laner in the world. But you haven't won a title since 2022. How does it feel to finally get the trophy again? Next, we have a question for our top players, Bingo. You have always maintained a very good economic status. You have a lot of fans who think that you are the best top player. But actually, you haven't been able to win the championship after the international competition in 2012. Do you feel anything special about your trophy this time? I think this trophy is the strongest in the world, and it's the best in the world. This is just the beginning of this year, and there will be more international competitions waiting for us. He said, let's just start, we still have a lot to show you guys. And that's what we want. And now, there's another surprise, because all the leagues around the world voted. And we have here the best MVP player, Opa, from this final, who goes to whom? It goes to Bin. I'm going to announce now. So, by all the leagues, you're the first 10, Opa MVP. MVP, so what does this recognition mean to you? 同时我们也恭喜丁哥获得了我们这次的OPPO FMVP 拿下这个奖项到现在有什么样的想法 没有太多的波兰吧 因为打之前我就知道我今天一定是MVP了 I'd like to say I don't have much emotions for now because before the game I already know I'm going to be the FMVP He said it! He has so many emotions now because I have to say that before this game started I knew that I would be a very good MVP. I have a last question for them here, because, well, it's been a week here with us, right? So I want to know how it was and how this energy of the fans felt at night. You guys spent a week here in Brazil, so what was it like feeling the energy from all of them here? Next, I want to ask the players. Because you've been here for more than a week, after all the experiences, what do you think about the energy and the atmosphere here? I think WTG and other places are different from the rest of the world. The atmosphere here is very positive, so it feels very good. I must say, the atmosphere here is super different from the other stages because we can feel the energy, we can feel the passion from the fans, it's really energetic and helps us out, so we enjoy playing here. We have the great winners of the first stand, in 2026, directly from Brazil for you. Congratulations, shout out to BLG once again. Finally, they stand at the top. And first things first, I want to react. I want to react on Ben. He has been saying every year, every time, I will be at the top, I will be at the top again. I expected more emotions from him when he finally does it, but no, I expected guys. It's such a bin statement that he can talk to himself. Yeah, go to the internet. I knew I had to unlock it's such a the confidence that we expect from him. Yeah, and he did it on a lot of his iconic champions, like Camille, the Jack, the NAR, and well deserved. I mean, really big performances. We came into this series and we're like, all right, well, there is a really big top lane problem. What are they going to do about this top lane problem? Turns out, there's not much you can do. Still figuring it out. Yeah, and I think the way the team was able to play around him and facilitate him was also really important, right? Like, leveraging his side lane pressure in this game, in other games. He had such a phenomenal Jax game, diving the back line the entire time. And this was not necessarily the bin we saw during the LPL split, right? He kind of ramped up and then coming into this tournament. He's just been absolutely so and what I come back from last year as well I remember being last year was not this player the fact that he's been playing for so long He was clutch at the beginning of his career and he came back at the top again for me is a testament of how strong and impressive a player like him can be and Talking about BRG talking about LPL representatives. They were due. Yeah, it has been so long 2,500 days since the LPL stood at the top. It's actually 1,036. 2,500. Oh, that's Europe. That's Europe. So still one time 1,036, which is a sizable time, but it's just the fact that BLG was so close multiple times. MSI 2023, which was one LPL, but the last win, was JDG, who took the crown. MSI 2024, and World 2024, that was a rough year for BLG being so close but not getting it but now finally getting that title and bringing another title to the LPL for the first time in almost three years. And this is exactly what the roster pickups were designed to do right like they brought Shun back they got Viper who's now a two-time first and yeah you know champion. Two different regions two different teams but I think BLG the organization has been trying for this first international win for so so long that initial 2023 roster I like can't stress enough how much of an over performance that MSI initially seemed because it just seemed like oh okay all of a sudden these things are clicking their super team rosters of previous years didn't work out this team of kind of like misfits or players that didn't necessarily perform as well on other teams um joined the team and then When Knight joined BLG, I think, over Yegau, my boy. Yegau? I think that's really when, and then this is another BLG super team attempt that finally was able to get their first international win. Let it be known that nobody beats BLG in an international finals for time in the road. They finally get it here as we take a look back at first-time and what we've seen so I still want to mention G2, I want to mention the fact that as a European fan, as someone who's been following this team, following this region for years now, I am relieved to see what they were able to showcase here at this tournament. What are the main takeaways for you, for G2 and the rest of the tournaments? of the tournament. I think the most impressive thing is how like they were able to adapt so quickly. That's such an amazing skill to have as a team to be able to come off of a loss as devastating as the BLG loss. Have your takeaways from it and turn that around immediately in such a short tournament is so so impressive to me. I can't wait to see them back at the next international and they're going to continue to play with main plates off. They have full confidence. They beat Gen G 3-0, so sky's the limit. X, what are your takeaways from the tournament? Big picture. It doesn't have to be LEC. It doesn't have any thing you want. It's the beginning of the season. What are we set up for? LCK, not as bulletproof as maybe we thought. I feel like people are talking about it being a return to that Korean Dynasty where they just win everything. And it has been a lot of winning, but now falling below both the LPL and the LEC in terms of tournament performances, I think they've got some work to do. A lot of work to do and the road is going to be longer. We know it's it's the first international tournament and it is done And that's the now it's been a pleasure be with all of you being back in Brazil actually. Thank you to the Thank you to all of you over you got a thank you to all of you watching at home Of course as well all across the world We will be back for split two in a couple days actually the league and version action never stops here So until then take care. We'll see you next time and be nice to each other He's got the bullets! You got this! I feel- I feel- I feel- I feel- I love you, I love you! The hand they just want to give him the killer As my distorted recoil broken blade Taking down in the end by 3 BLG That's a little bit weird, you look at- You're not looking for a fight? On course, in the box, he doesn't have the flash cap Try to come across, they can try to kiss Lara as well To follow up onto the cross Into the solar snare, the karma Find her just to deserve As Stuelon follows suit Ben on the batlet on summer He has to extricate himself from the situation, but even with the cleanse of the flash, you can't cleanse Banner! You get one shot, and you're damn well missed! Now, very long, I guess. It's a good plan, man. Just suck, just suck, just suck. Banner? Right, the butt is a bit yellow. Uh, he's happy. Nice, good job. Nice, nice, nice. Don't watch as well. Banner on the back, going on summer! He just doesn't get a chance to do anything! Banner is taking names and putting them right in the trash! I could be a solo killer, perhaps. Let's see if we die, bitch. He lands against it with the arcane storm! They're moving from bot side, they're moving from bot side. They're moving, they're moving, they're moving, they're moving. They're moving, they're moving, they're moving. They're not just us, TP behind, do not batches. Dive immediately after it's a block. And it's done, it's right away. We're getting shot again, back, back, back, back. They're getting shot, they're getting shot, they're going to land as well. There's a headbutt, they're going to land. And BLG, Puddy's G2 is useless. Cat's trying to defend. G2 unable to do anything 2nd place no longer Resurrection for the LPL B.O.Q are your first time champions I had to level up the team Now, now it's Rappers on your team The team, the D, the S, the T, the G, the R, the H, the G Now it's Rappers on your team It's the season with the time like Somebody tell them, get they right right Cause we speed it through the traffic with the limelight Headed to my future, that's the limelight GM, AT, GM orders, baby We woke, they sleep, we come, and we No need to ask the question, cause we showin' up Cause when it's going down, baby, goin' up So, to level up the team Love, now it's revelin' everything I get it, I get it, I get it We're king, I win, it is about the dream I had to level up the team Now it's real for everything E-E-S-T-G-G-G-G-G-G Yeah, now it's real for everything Yeah, now it's real for everything Now, now it's real for something Go, yeah, drive down like you got them My darling is practice, pa, pa, to get active They ain't so much the ruler, right now I'm the captain They love cuz we the shooters, we team up and don't tag them Yeah Time, I had to level up the team Love, now it's revel, everything Get it, okay, I give, we give I win, I give, I'm false, the dream Time, I had to level up the team
