We are back in the Mazda MX5 this time at Summit Point for a guide to the production car challenge and the endurance car challenge.

in here to avoid the wheels. Second. Hold that on the brakes. Back on the gas. Correction
there. And now we're fully flooring it all the way through here. Using that camera. Yeah,
okay up to fourth found this one the trickiest corner
dropping down to third ease back onto the gas exit nice and wide back on the main straight
nice and straightforward open across the line in a 120.389

I pull that speed off in a straight line, breaking nearly, what's that?
nearly up to 100% up to 95% there, holding the brakes at that level. As I start to turn in,
so you can see it turning my wheel, turn that trailer off quite quickly, a little bit of counter
steer to arrest any oversteer that you have going into the corner, we drop it down into second gear
and then we can get back on 100% gas nice and early. I found that if I dropped it into first
I was just giving too much wheel spin, not enough drive out.

So we start our turn in and we're just going to do a tiny little lift through here.
I did actually find you can take this flat but you can't get far enough over to the right.
Yeah it's awkward. It was better doing the lift here,
Clipping this corner, this curving, getting back on the gas and now I have a nice wide
entry coming into turn 5 here.
We break up to about 80% there at their abouts.
Trill it off, drop it down to 3rd, drop it down to 2nd and to get back on the gas as early
as possible.
Again, for me, 2nd was faster here than getting the wheel spinning first.
If you can only make it work in 1st, you're probably over slowing the car.
As you can see at the apex here, I'm on 85kmh now.
me know or at least check for yourself what speed you're doing as you're hitting it.
Back over to the left hand side basically as you get to this little inlet on the left hand side
in the tires as you can see that's when I just add the brakes it's about 35% again trail that off
as we get over towards the apex trying to get onto full gas as you can see I had to put a little
bit of left hand down there just to rest that oversteer but I kept my foot in the gas that's
important because we're building up all this momentum to go through this next
section as fast as possible. So we'll fly through here, just go up through the gears, using that camera on the right-hand side of the track, and to the fourth gear, so we want to be nice and wide over on the left.
What we're looking for is the end of this pit entry on the right-hand side. So just as we get to the end of it, as you can see now, I break up to about 45%
percent and then I trail that off I drop it down to third gear start building back up on the gas
and then it's sort of half pressure on my right foot at the minute wanting to click this uh inside
curving
